His highest rated singles matches according to Meltzer are WrestleWar '90 and Starrcade '88 both against Flair at 4 1/2 stars. Both are definitely great, and I'd say the WrestleWar one is my favorite but it does have the CO finish which kinda hurts it, but I think it has better pacing at 30 minutes than the Starrcade one at like 40...that '88 Starrcade is still my favorite of all time tho

Brand Extension might be getting new life after all @Smark Phoenix

Like I said in the thread last week there was talk of another draft before the Fox debut.

I still don't think it'll amount to much considering the wild card rule came like a week after the shakeup earlier this year.

WWE just doesn't know how to stick to a brand split. You have to make real effort to make the shows look and feel different.

I'm sure they will for Fox but I won't give them much credit unless it lasts for longer than a few months without any wildcard shit. I do think the only effort for a split needs to be separate rosters though, and the presentation stuff you love so much is just extra...I mean I'd prefer it too but I wouldn't say it's not a real split just bc they use the same stage. I can't see them every going back to the '02 "real competition" between brands thing, but I could see Bischoff and Heyman treating it as a competition between each other while Vince is just laughing in the background bc they're still making him money Either way I don't really have much of an opinion on this, I'm not really excited or disinterested either way so I'm gonna hold off on any expectations until we see what happens on screen towards the end of the year.
