HELL IS NOT A MYTH
Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

This will probably just piss people off more. A lot of folks are probably going to bitch because they've become accustomed to the shows building towards a PPV, so when angles occur that don't have any bearing on the PPV match, they'll probably get angry.

IE Johnny Ace books John Cena in a handicap match against Tensai and Otunga, only for CM Punk to step up and act as Cena's partner. Well, that's a good way to get both of the faces over, and it fits well into the booking of Raw, but why is Punk doing this when he has to face Daniel Bryan at the next PPV? Why is he not cutting promos on D-Bry?

People probably won't really agree with it, but I like the idea of focusing on show-by-show storylines rather than having everything revolve around PPV matches.

^The article didn't mention anything about stupid swerves with no bearing on concurrent story lines.

I see the renewed focus on the TV programming as a great thing, especially if they can get their shit into gear by the time the weekly 3 hour RAWs start. If the WWE improves it ratings, it will translate into higher buyrates naturally.

Current plans for The Undertaker at next year's Mania are......
WWE is currently planning to have Brock Lesnar face the Undertaker at WrestleMania 29.

In a related note, the latest issue of Inside Wrestling actually has Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker on their cover, with the headline of "SNEAK PEAK? The World Clamors for Lesnar-'Taker At WrestleMania 29!"

Can't say this surprises me at all.

Not surprising, but I think it's a waste. The only positive I can think of is that at least he's never faced Brock at WM before.

He just needs to to retire. If his goal is to retire with his streak intact, he should do it now.

After getting 20-0, it would just be rubbing it in to keeping picking up wins.

I agree. Mostly because of my semi-OCD wanting his streak be an even number like 20, rather than some Blue number like 23-0..

By James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor

"The Rock" Dwayne Johnson says "G.I. Joe 2" being pushed back to March 2013 could limit his WWE appearances during WrestleMania 29 hype season.

Asked during a "Rock Talk" Q&A Sunday if his WWE schedule will be affected by the movie release date, Rock said, "It may, bud. Not sure right now. We're all trying to work it out though."

There's a shock.

I'm already sick of people bitching about the Rock. You make it sound like it's the Rock fault the movie was pushed back just so he wouldn't be able to appear with the WWE as much.

Besides, its not the Rock's fault at all, they wanted to shoot more scenes with him and Channing Tatum because Tatum scored so high on test screenings. They also wanted to properly convert the film to a better form of 3D. I can imagine that The Rock will have to do a few more promotional appearances than normal around the time of release, but I doubt very much it will affect his WWE obligations.

If he can't make a lot of appearance during WrestleMania hype then screw his match

He's gonna be on TV loads promoting the film, therefore he can promote his match at WM at the same time.

I fail to see the issue here. Just because he may not be on Raw every week doesn't mean he can't do any promotion whatsoever. If anything, this helps.

Re: WWE Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

I don't know if it has been mentioned or not, but..

WWE is advertising the return of DX, as in Shawn Michaels and Triple H, to Raw on 7/23 in St. Louis, MO which is the 1000th episode of the show. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE is reaching out to former stars to be apart of the first weekly three hour edition of Raw

I feel like I'd have an awfully hard time giving less fucks than what I do, but if they're going to do some stupid nonsense like make Brodus Clay an honorary member, or worse, bring Hornswoggle back to be their mascot, I might just reach new levels of not giving a fuck-ness.

That being said, if they can get X-Pac and/or NAO involved, it'd be worthwhile.

WWE may be doing away with the Abraham Washington "All World Talent Agency" storyline soon.

Why do I even bother watching WWE anymore?
