Last year's soundtrack was pretty meh.

Post Malone curated it. No wonder why I found that the soundtrack was garbage.

To be fair. Most theme songs nowadays are kind of ass also. I don’t think I had many on the last few years. More so some of the older ones, with very few of the current day ones.

First thing I'm doing in WWE 2K25, I will turn off the featured track list and replace them with the music of the roster based on what I like. None of the licensed music by non WWE in house music producers I like. Especially the rap music. I don't like rap unless it it came from classics like DMX and Vanilla Ice.

Dude does country now. Not someone I'm going out of my way for but my brother saw him last year said it was a great show. He's running stadiums this summer with Jelly Roll.

With regards to the soundtrack, I think I ended up switching all but one or maybe 2 off. Can't recall. But yeah obviously I'ma turn off all the regular music and turn on the rasslin themes.

I feel like there are more misses than hits, but that's also because I'm not a fan of electronic shit. There's a lot of newer stuff that's super awesome (Roman, IYO, Shinsuke's new one are examples) that are amazing.

You know what would be scummy? If they don't have the Wyatt 6 members from last year's game have their previous gimmicks. That would mean a couple of wrestlers we had in the base roster last year locked behind a paywall

That is idiotic. I understand if it was a returning wrestler or a recently new addition to the roster (like Jade Cargill in 2K24) becomes DLC. But to have a wrestler who has continually been on the roster since the last game released is stupid and greedy for money hungry developers. I remember the days where games weren't made for outrageous profits.

This has been 100% done before though so it's not surprising in the slightest to me. It also happens every year in the UFC games and like almost every other sports game.

Some of the choices make some sense. They were actual GMs before, or in the case of Woods and Breeze, the reason why the mode came back a few years ago.

But CM Punk, Mr. Fuji, Miss Elizabeth, and Sensational Sherri seem so random lmao.
