It's entirely possible to add a third gender code but it is also entirely possible to just lock individual people into and out of the intergender matches instead of creating a third gender code the same way that you can only select certain people as only managers or certain people as only referees.

I wasn't sure bc like you said those people are locked as those options, I wasn't sure if the option to make them available for both would be as easy as locking them to one

All it is would be creating a switch and then flicking the switch in the code. It already exists for managers and refs and NPCs.
It's just making them appear in a menu. I discovered a glitch in 2K24 that let me do a Steel Cage match for the Hardcore Championship between Dakota Kai and RVD and it worked almost perfectly. Only thing was that RVD couldn't do his entire moveset since he didn't have an "Intergender_yes" toggle whereas Dakota did and could dogwalk RVD. Just copying that toggle to the men solves it, really.

What I'm more curious about is if we can have women win men's championships or intergender teams as tag champs. Now THAT is something I would like.

I doubt that, but I would welcome it as I played AEW Fight Forever.

Must be an amusing glitch. In WWE 2K23, I played a singles match in the War Games arena. There were two rings and on the right ring the commentators were halfway sunk in the right ring, sitting.

The intergender toggle set for the women as on, you can attack the men without penalty. That shouldn't be on as they don't have matches against men, except for the mixed gender tag matches.

Yeah that's what I mean, they literally just have to turn it on for men. It's entirely possible for the devs to toggle that on in 2K24 if they had really wanted to.

Yeah I had this too. Doing a tag match here and trying to lock in a submission or do a pin would crash the game lol.
