Scooby-Doo, WWE movie will merge cartoon with WrestleMania mystery - Roanoke Pro Wrestling | Examiner.com

Okay, so you can call me whatever, but I am so excited for this. Gonna be fully animated, and being a huge Scooby Doo fan like I am, this looks great. I love wrestling, I love Scooby Doo, I'm all on board for this. Most people will hate it cause it's a "cartoon" and "too PG" but I can actually see this being a huge success. I hope the animation is like the old Scooby Doo episodes, and not a new type. Also hope that it's the original voice actors as well.

The kid in me while reading this was :mark: :mark: :mark:

I'm excited even though it'll probably be pretty stupid.

Trouble is they have already done a perfectly fine movie version. This might be a decent guilty pleasure through.

I used to get excited to see the Scooby crossovers as a kid, like when they met Herbie. I will like this most likely especially cartoon HHH

WWE is finally getting smart and realizing the money is from producing movies, not making them.

Scooby doo is a good franchise and should do them well, good idea to know that nobody is going to watch a movie full of wrestlers.

Vince McMahon is creaming his pants. 12 or 13 years ago he went on record saying the main goal was to make movies, now he has the objective, with a few movies under his companies belt, to produce an epic motion picture that will make a difference in the world.

Coming soon... when the world is watching...

A groundbreaking motion picture that will change the landscape of cinema and the WWE...

WWE proudly presents...

Scooby-Doo.

Sarcasm aside, it is still a lucrative franchise.

Vinny Mac since the day of No Holds Barred was trying to get his foot into the door of Hollywood, it's a coupe to get a franchise like this.

I agree, Scooby Doo is one of the most recognized cartoons in history I think, and has a lot of longevity behind it. I think it markets to both the kids, and the older fans who grew up watching Scooby Doo. Its straight to DVD release though, so I wonder how that will turn out. Seems like WWE Films is getting smarter with what they put out.

Really smart cross over idea by WWE and it is good that it is an animation and not a live action movie. Scooby Doo was one of my favourite cartoons when I was a kid so I am actually looking forward to this to see what they can produce, just as long as Scrappy Doo isn't involved.

Hopefully they can get Jason Segal to do his Andre impersonation, and everyone can think the Ghost of Wrestlemania is Andre, turns out to be Big Show or Khali trying to scare off the top faces. I feel it would be in their best interest to use the 80's & 90's era of WWE guys when they can(Piper instantly comes to mind, as he has already voiced Bofunga in a Green Lantern animated movie, another WB property), and the HOF ceremony the night before could work as the "ghosts" big moment(as the Scooby Gang would likely catch the ghost just in time for Mania to go on air). Scooby Doo & WWE both have these long histories, I am actually interested to see what they do.

And if they put Hornswaggle in this film, you better believe I want Scappy Doo to kick his ass with Puppy Power!

"I'm going to get rid of this annoying and yelping puppy, for the good of all of you."
*kicks Scrappy into a lake*
"You're welcome."
