WWE DVD Discussion

It’s official. After over 15 years Todd Pettengill is working with WWE again. Earlier today he confirmed our report from yesterday that he indeed is the host of “The Best of In Your House”, which will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in April. Pettengill, a former on-screen interviewer for WWF in the 90′s, commented on the news via his Facebook page.

An anonymous emailer let us know that the “Scott & Todd Show” radio personality was recently spotted at WWE Headquarters, and it’s now safe to assume he was there shooting footage with the company for the new feature. The Best of In Your House DVD and Blu-ray is released on April 30th.

Nice. IYH DVD should be good.

Never expected seeing him hosting a WWE DVD. I like the DVD concept though, there have been plenty of great matches on the IYH PPVs and I would rather them produce a best of set like this rather than selling them individually.

Here’s the exclusive reveal and up close look at the planned WWE Royal Rumble 2013 DVD and Blu-ray cover artwork, featuring the new WWE Champion The Rock.

The Royal Rumble DVD hits stores across the United States on February 26th, 2013.

Not awful but could of been better. I still dig it. Not much effort as they just slapped the title onto the poster, but still. Not a lot of effort was needed as the DVD will sell looking like that. The gold title really stands out on the picture. People will buy it if they see that cover. Plain and simple. Although I think a photo of him at the end with the title would of looked a bit better.

Not bad. Front and back cover were done really well. Especially the front. Really eye catching. Interested in how the normal dvd/digipak artwork looks.

I am going to have to buy that one as well. The documentary pretty much sells it for me and I like the matches that they have chosen, plus it will be good hearing Foley and Styles add commentary to a couple of matches so we can hear a few insights from Foley.

That Rumble DVD cover is quite funny but it somehow still works, the PPV poster itself was so good that it still makes it look good even with the photoshopped title.

That match listing is really unimpressive as I was expecting for Foley's set.

Only match I'm happy to see on there is his IYH match with Trips.
