I couldn’t disagree more. Like I vehemently disagree. Vacating title just feels cheap when it’s not because a superstar is legitimately injured and can’t defend them.

Nobody should leave a territory without putting someone over and no title should change hands without a match if it can be helped. No one gets the rub from a vacated title. It also makes the title look cheap if someone is just like I’m too good for this.

Only way I see it as an issue would be if they draft another NXT Champion away, like if it’s Wes Lee who is NA Champ, or Gallus who’s Tag Champs. Because then you just happen to have 3 champions leaving and losing. It makes most of what you’re watching to predictable. Tho Indi being hurt, she might can get away with vacating the title.

Drafting three of the champions would just be a booking mistake. You can’t just completely deflate the brand like that and one would think they should have thought about this a month before it took place so they could have done some title changes before.

I mean if they did they could build new stars in a complete tournament much like the breakout. I don't think they should be I could see this

I will say away around this, is just book the next champion great. Wes won the NA because it was vacated once Solo moved up, and has been great as champion and has gotten a rub from his title run. If I’m correct, I think he’s the second longest North American Champion right now. So, you might not get the rub from the win, BUT the title reign can give you the rub.

I will say away around this, is just book the next champion great. Wes won the NA because it was vacated once Solo moved up, and has been great as champion and has gotten a rub from his title run. If I’m correct, I think he’s the second longest North American Champion right now. So, you might not get the rub from the win, BUT the title reign can give you the rub.

Oh yeah definitely. It’s why I was saying that the way around not getting the rub from beating the Champ, is just book them great. In the perfect world you get a great rub winning it and defending it.
