The whole Bragging Rights PPV is pretty much a waste anyway. Up until the month leading into the PPV, there's no real evidence of brand rivalry and the like so I don't really see the point. We then get to see the trophy on the winning show for a few weeks before it once again dissapears into obscurity for another 11 or so months.
Like mentioned above, 2010 totally killed the Survivor Series concept with the over using of the match type. Scrap Bragging Rights, save Survivor Series.
I disagree to an extent. If the PPV was given time to build up, say little things from Summerslam onwards then I don't see why the PPV can't be a success. The problem is years ago, most PPVs used to be somewhat unique, whether it be a hyped up match with a huge stipulation or gimmick match. Even Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday as bad as that was at times had a unique concept to it. Now they've thrown away what makes each PPV its own and it's like they half ass a card just so they can bring out 15 ppvs a year. The concept of Bragging Rights is fine, it's the execution of it that lets it down.
