WWE.com posted the following this morning regarding the release of Umaga earlier this week:

As reported on WWE.com on Monday, June 8, 2009, WWE Superstar Umaga (Edward Fatu) has been released from his World Wrestling Entertainment contract.

However, consistent with the practice of announcing wellness policy violations, it should be noted that Umaga's termination was due to his second violation of the WWE Wellness Program and his subsequent refusal to attend a rehabilitation facility.

Jeff Hardy and Umaga lolz.
Oh well another wasted career because they cant stop fucking around with drugs. I dont know why they would wanna piss away a job like that just to take drugs. But each to there own i suppose and a habbit is hard to kick so im told. Id much rather be doing a job i loved were you get to travel the world and get good money, Perform in front of thousands/Millions of ppl. That alone would be the best buzz in the world for me. Shame he was damn good for a big guy.

I applaud WWE for actually firing him, this definitely legitimizes the wellness policy. Hopefully the other wrestlers saw what happened to Umaga so they won't make the same mistake

That sir would be Jeffery "Extreme" Hardy.

I don't see how this legitimizes the wellness policy. Another mid-carder takig the effect of the wellness policy, that's what a majority of them have been. When one of their main, money, go-to-guys, main eventers fails and gets the boot, then in my eyes it would legitimize it. When Jeff or Orton get fired for their last strike, or Tista, Micheals, Taker, Cena, Triple H, gets suspended, then I'd believe it.

Orton and Edge have actually been suspended, so it's pretty legit....well it is now after the Benoit thing.

^^^ Isn't that when they were mid cards though? They weren't at the very top like they are now were they?
