It's not just a Wii, it's a NEW Console with HD, more power, new controller ect.

But fair enough guys, I'd be in favour of a PC version too.
i'd prefer a PC version than a shitty version for a console just so similar to Wii. It's kinda "I'm going to release the game in WiiU because it's the new Wii Generation. I didn't have features in Wii games, but I'll include an online feature for WiiU." (don't know if they have an online feature, but it's so stupid. I don't care about Wii if I'm honest and I don't care about WiiU)

To the people bashing the Wii U, I'd buy it because it has all of the Ninty first party exclusives, Sonic exclusives and some others like Bayonetta.

Innovation > boring ultra HD greyscale shooters

Ok the games are good, the hardware is so MEH!

People hype it so much,"It's in 1080p!",that's not that impressive,"It runs at 60 FPS",well 1.not really, for me anyway 2.So?That's not impressive at all either.

The hardware is meh but as long as I can have fun playing the games (why i buy consoles), I'm happy.

Because when people say that the Wii was crap for having no HD, they will say that. And now look at the Xbone and PS4. The Xbone did nothing to make itself stand out, asides from the TV and COD!!! and being bad to their customers. Yes, they did a U-turn but that E3 conference killed it imo. PS4 is better but i just don't see the colourful innovative games like Nintendo have (while yes, PS4 will have more third party support)

PS4 has the most colourful and innovitative games.

Toblaron Robot game(I forget what's called)

and it has people who make those kinds of games such as Johnatan Blow.

And it does have HD,it has 1080p.

Although you can choose to buy a console soley on the games if you want,if you want to debate how good a console is you have to judge the hardware,it'll be out of date in like a few months with the new consoles which even then will be out of date in a few months with the ever evolving PC market.

But how many are there, besides those greyscale games? Nintendo have Mario, Zelda, Pikmin. They also have SEGA making new exclusive Sonic games (which look amazing), Platinum Games' The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2.

I know, you have to judge both the hardware and the game content. I don't think the mediocre hardware is that much of an issue, look at what the games released so far have done (albeit there aren't so many). If you dont' want to use the gamepad to it's full potential, you don't have to. Stick the gameplay on the gamepad's screen too and you're fine.

If you don't use the gamepad besides using just the screen, then why even put it on Wii U.

Because not everyone can afford multiple consoles and a lot of people love Nintendo's first party games but need third-party games as well. Put it on Wii U and more people will think "hey, more third party games are coming out. i should get this now!"

That's quite the minority though considering the Wii U came out 8 years after the other consoles so most would already have the other consoles.

I can understand why people would get a Wii U. Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Sonic, ect.
But that was more of my childhood rather than now. WHICH is why I choose not to purchase it. It just seems like a console for children. Sony and Microsoft don't even consider it competition so obviously the target demographic are different between the two.
