The "Real RockNRolla" and current WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor reclaimed the gold at the Great American Bash ppv. From here he retained the title at Summerslam albeit due to him capitalizing on the chaos and carnage and pinned Bobby Lashley.

Going into Fall Brawl he found a new challenger in the form of a recently babyface turned Daniel Bryan


WWE RAW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
BECKY LYNCH(C) VS EMBER MOON VS KAY LEE RAY
On an episode of Monday Night RAW, GM Kurt Angle announced that since Kay Lee Ray interfered in the Lynch VS Moon match for the WWE RAW Women's Championship at Summerslam.
He was going to give Moon another shot at the title at Fall Brawl and since he knew Ray would attempt to interfere again he was going to make it a triple threat match.

At Summerslam the leader of SaNiTY Eric Young took part in and won an eight man over the top rope battle royal. To become the N1C to the WWE Championship and he cut a promo on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

In which he revealed he would be challenging for the title at WWE Fall Brawl

ALEXA BLISS(C) VS DEONNA PURRAZZO
The self proclaimed "Goddess of WWE" Alexa Bliss used underhanded tactics to capture the WWE Smackdown Championship at Summerslam. At the same event the "Virtuoso" Deonna Purrazzo won a gauntlet match to earn a future shot at the title.

Bliss would attack the former champion Rhea Ripley and put her through the announce table with Twisted Bliss on the go home episode of FNS.

On an episode of Monday Night RAW, General Manager Kurt Angle took to the ring and revealed that a trio of MNR male superstars had been impressing him of late.

Those being Buddy Murphy, Cesaro and Chad Gable. As a reward for their efforts he announced a four way match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship for Fall Brawl.

UNDISPUTED ERA(C) VS ALMIGHTY INDUSTRIES
The Undisputed Era effectively cost Bobby Lashley his shot at the WWE Universal Championship at Summerslam. He would state in an interview that he wasn't done with the Universal Championship.

But he would be solely focused on ridding the company of the UE first and asked RAW GM Kurt Angle for a shot at the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. Which he called the first step and Angle agreed to the match and made it official for Fall Brawl.​

PETE DUNNE(C) VS ALEISTER BLACK
The "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne captured his first piece of main roster gold when he defeated then champion Zack Ryder(c). To become the new WWE United States Champion, he would retain the title against Ryder on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

He didn't have time to rest because as soon as the match was over he was confronted by Aleister Black who made his intentions clear. He wanted the title and Dunne accepted the challenge, which led to the "Dutch Destroyer" to laugh.

AUTHORS OF PAIN(C) VS THE HARDY'S
Akam and Rezar aka the Authors of Pain took on three other tag teams at Summerslam in a four way for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. They got the win and as a result became the new champions.

After seeing off the former champions the Uso's in a rematch, they were challenged by the reformed Hardy's ​

WWE FALL BRAWL
In the opening contest WWE Intercontinental Champion Roderick Strong(c) was challenged by not one, not two but three different challengers. Those being the trio of Buddy Murphy, Cesaro and Chad Gable. It ended with a new champion crowned when Murphy got the pin on Gable with Murphy's Law.

Next Authors of Pain(c) versus the Hardy's for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship took place. The defending champions put on a dominant performance but in the end we had new champions. As the "Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb on Rezar for the pin.

In the third match of the night, the "Bruiserweight" and WWE US Champion Pete Dunne(c) was challenged by the "Dutch Destroyer" Aleister Black. This hard hitting contest came to a sudden end when Shinsuke Nakamura turned his back on Dunne. And attacked and brawled with both Dunne and Black before being seperated by refs.

After that the duo of Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush, now known as Almighty Industries took on and defeated the Undisputed Era(c). To become the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, when Lashley pinned Bobby Fish with a Spear.

Up next was the one on one match between Alexa Bliss(c) and Deonna Purrazzo for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship took place. It ended with the former aka Bliss getting the win with Blissful Ignorance aka a Cradle DDT. Rhea Ripley returned and brawled with Bliss but ended up getting taken out by an angry Purrazzo who also laid Bliss out.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston(c) went one on one with the "Mad Messiah" Eric Young with the title on the line. In the end, Young got the better of his opponent with a Piledriver which led to the pin.

The penultimate match saw a clash of champion and contender, as the "Real RockNRolla" Finn Balor(c) faced Daniel Bryan. As can be expected this match was awesome from start to finish and it didn't matter who walked out as the winner. However Mr MITB Adam Cole interjected himself into the match and hit both men with the briefcase. Then cashed in and pinned Balor with the Last Shot

Finally Becky Lynch(c) had to contend with both Ember Moon and Kay Lee Ray in a triple threat match. For the WWE RAW Women's Championship, each of the three women had their chance to shine in the match. The conclusion saw Moon hit the Eclipse on Lynch, only to be grabbed by Ray and thrown out of the ring, then Ray pinned Lynch.

DREW MCINTYRE VS FINN BALOR VS SETH ROLLINS
The leader of the Undisputed Era aka Adam Cole first won the 2019 Men's MITB and then proceeded to cash in at Fall Brawl. In a match between then champion Finn Balor(c) and Daniel Bryan to become the new champion. The new champion was challenged by Balor then Bryan the Drew McIntyre finally a returning Seth Rollins.

Of course Cole refused them all, which led to RAW GM Kurt Angle to make an appearance and make two matches official for Halloween Havoc. The first a one on one match for the title between both Cole and Bryan for the WWE Universal Championship.

The second a triple threat match featuring the trio of McIntyre, Balor and Rollins, to determine a N1C. This match would also cancel out both Balor's and Rollins rematches clauses.

LOSING FACTION MUST DISBAND
SANITY VS NEW DAY
Eric Young captured not only first piece WWE gold since joining the blue brand but it was the WWE Championship of all possible options. He did this by defeating Kofi Kingston(c) at Fall Brawl in a one on one match. In the weeks following an invigorated Kofi Kingston demanded his rematch but Young kept dodging him.

So he changed tactics and promised to take everything from the WWE Champion, starting with his SaNiTy. He asked SD GM Paige for a handicap match where if he won SaNiTy would be forced to disband. Paige and his New Day stablemates Big E and Xavier Woods would ask if he was sure and he said yes.

However Paige made a six man tag team match where the losing faction would be forced to disband and the New Day stated it wouldn't be them ​

WWE SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
ALEXA BLISS(C) VS RHEA RIPLEY
"Aussie Anarchy" Rhea Ripley returned to WWE at the conclusion of the match between Alexa Bliss(c) and Deonna Purrazzo. At the Fall Brawl pay per view for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship. While Bliss walked out with her championship reign intact, she brawled with both women.

SD GM Paige announced that Bliss would defend against Ripley at Halloween Havoc and she banned Purrazzo from the event.


NUMBER ONE CONTENDER - WWE US CHAMPIONSHIP
ALEISTER BLACK VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
During the WWE United States Championship match at Fall Brawl between current champion Pete Dunne(c) and the "Dutch Destroyer" Aleister Black. Shinsuke Nakamura interjected himself into proceedings by attacking both men and brawling with them.

It was announced by FNS General Manager Paige that Black and Nakamura would clash at Halloween Havoc with WWE USC Dunne as the Special Guest Ref. Meaning that Dunne would effectively decide who his next challenger would be. ​

Buddy Murphy won the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Fall Brawl in a four way match. Which also featured the then champion Roderick Strong(c), Cesaro and Chad Gable, by pinning not Strong but Gable. He would beat Strong in the rematch on an episode of Monday Night RAW, only to be confronted by Cesaro.

Who said Murphy was ducking him as he didn't beat him at the ppv. Murphy told Cesaro to shut up and then said he would kick his ass at Halloween Havoc.



WWE RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
ALMIGHTY INDUSTRIES(C) VS BALOR CLUB
During the Fall Brawl ppv the duo of Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush challenged for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. They would be successful in their attempt and even defeated the former champions Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly in the rematch. Following this Rush would be attacked and put on the shelf by Balor Club members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

Lashley wanted to face both men at Halloween Havoc but RAW GM Kurt Angle said he would have to find a replacement for Rush. The duo of Anderson and Gallows would only agree to the match if it was a title match, which a reluctant Angle agreed to. Lashley stated on the go home edition of Monday Night RAW, that the newest member of Almighty Industries would debut at the ppv.



WWE WOMEN'S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
BOSS & HUG CO(C) VS RIOT SQUAD
The Riot Squad became the next in line for a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. After the duo of Liv Morgan and Mrs MITB Ruby Riot, defeated the current champions. The Boss & Hug Co aka Bayley and Sasha Banks in single's matches on consecutive episodes of MNR.​
