NO WAY OUT 2019

TEARS DON’T FALL BY BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE

The pay per view opened with a four way women’s division match. Where the victor would earn the right to challenge for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 35. The field of competition consisted of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. It looked like Lynch would get a shot at redemption after she hit the Manhandle Slam on Deville. Only for Flair to break up the attempted pinfall by grabbing Lynch and throwing her out of the ring onto Rose. From here she aka Flair pinned Deville.

Next the trio of Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Competed against each other in a triple threat match to crown a new WWE Intercontinental Champion. In the end it would be Balor who got the win after pinning Owens with a Coup De Grace off the top rope.

After that AJ Styles, Andrade, Eric Young, Kofi Kingston and Luke Harper. Went to war with each other inside the squared circle. For a chance to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 35. The pair of Harper and Andrade started the match but, in the end, it came down to the duo of Styles and Kingston. With the former forcing the latter to pass out in the Phenomenal Lock aka the Calf Crusher.

In the fourth match, Bayley© defended the WWE Universal Women’s Championship. Against the former champion, Ronda Rousey in a Rumble rematch. Which saw the champion submit her opponent with a Fujiwara Armbar submission.

Then in the penultimate match of the night saw another Royal Rumble rematch take place. This time around for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Like the WWE UWC match before it the roles of champion and challenger were reversed. As Shinsuke Nakamura© defended against Daniel Bryan, which saw the former retain. By way of knockout after hitting back-to-back Kinshasa’s on his opponent.

Finally, ladies and gentlemen it was time for the main event. As Braun Strowman© put the WWE Universal Championship on the line in a triple threat. Against both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. It concluded with a nail-biting series of events, first Reigns laid Strowman out with a Spear. Then Rollins proceeded to hit back-to-back Curb Stomps to both men and pinned Strowman to claim the title.

After the match Dean Ambrose came through the crowd and laid Rollins out with Dirty Deeds through the announce table.
