- The Bloodline showing dominance post main event with them not only destroying the WWE Universal Champion Aleister Black and Kevin Owens with help from The OC but then The Bloodline single handedly took out The OC as well and the thing is The OC had the numbers advantage. Didn't matter as The Tribal Chief, Jimmy and Jacob took em all out. Roman holding up the WWE Universal Championship could be a sign of things to come at Royal Rumble 2021.

- Only room for 1 leader in The OC...the tension just keeps building and building and Murphy, Gallows, Anderson and Big Cass are all going to have to choose a side because there's not enough room for both Finn Balor and AJ Styles in this group as its leader so either AJ is getting kicked out or Finn i

- Maybe Zelina's clients just aren't good enough to face Heavy Machinery again for those WWE Tag Team Championships. I mean they lost the titles in the Ladder Match and then lose their rematch . I wonder where Zelina's clients Nakamura & Dijakovic go from here honestly?

- Heavy Machinery vs The Mysterios for the WWE Tag Team Championship...is a match I definitely wanna see

- Daniel Bryan has to be a favorite in the Royal Rumble Match seeing as how he's never won one and that's the only accolade he has left to accomplish in his WWE career but can he do it? Bryan making Noam Dar tap out...Bryan looks ready

- Xia Li vs WWE Women's Champion Asuka should be a hard hitting contest but it's a matchup we have never seen before. China and Japan element here.

- Tay Conti I can easily see her showing up trying to help Xia win this match

- A Triple Threat #1 Contender Match for the WWE United States Championship...Crews vs Gran Metalik vs Rowe of the War Raiders...yeah I have a feeling Gran Metalik wins given his push in NXT

- Ronda Rousey vs Bianca Belair in 2 weeks...I can't wait but in the Women's Royal Rumble Match...either one of those 2 women is my pick to win the whole thing and main event WrestleMania 37 in Dallas, Texas at Cowboys Stadium Jerry World for the WWE Women's Championship or the WWE Women's Universal Championship

- Jacob Fatu is the great equalizer I mean that's how much of a beast this man is and as a super heavyweight at his size he shouldn't be able to move like how he does...that's how gifted this man is...how agile he is and he destroys Edge yet again after Edge beats Jimmy Uso...yeah good luck in trying to eliminate Jacob from the Royal Rumble Match...if anyone has most eliminations this year it will be Fatu in the Men's Match guaranteed

HOUSE OF MEMORIES – PANIC AT THE DISCO

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*ALL HAIL THE QUEEN*

CHARLOTTE FLAIR
makes her way out to the ring as we begin Monday Night Raw with Michael Cole and Elias welcoming us to the show! She has some tape around the right arm but she has a smug smirk having retained her Women’s Universal title on last week’s Raw in an Iron Woman match. Both members of the commentary desk give her credit for the performance before hyping up her next title defense next week at the Royal Rumble against her friend and ally Dakota Kai.

Charlotte gets to the ring with a microphone in hand as she looks to the fans before addressing her victory last week. She says last week felt like she was honoring her family’s legacy by defending her title in an hour-long match. She smirks to herself and says she knew that she could have outwrestled Shayna Baszler all day long! She tells the crowd with the MMA Horsewomen beaten, the natural order would be restored and all of the gold would be in the hands of the Four Horsewomen!

Loud cheers from the crowd as Michael Cole reminds us the tag team titles are now held by the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection and the WWE Women’s title is held by Asuka! Charlotte says now it is time to put the MMA Horsewomen in the rear-view mirror because she wants to focus on her 9th reign as Women’s Champion! At the Royal Rumble, she fights a good ally in recent times: Dakota Kai. Loud cheers for the member of Team Kick which makes Charlotte scowl slightly but before she can carry on…

*WE RIOT*

WE RIOTTS WALK OUT! RUBY RIOTT
has a microphone in hand as the crowd is unhappy with the interruption. Ruby tells Charlotte she got very lucky because if she had beaten Dakota Kai last week, Charlotte’s 9th title reign would have been short like the majority of the times she has held the title. Charlotte, unimpressed with that line, scoffs and asks Ruby how many times she has held gold period getting a loud pop from the fans! Ruby looks ready to explode but SHOTZI BLACKHEART calms her down for the moment.

Shotzi tells Charlotte to show some respect but The Queen has no interest in doing that. Ruby takes back the microphone from her partner and tells Charlotte that she loses the titles so quickly because she is used to success. Ruby has had to work for everything she has gotten and when she finally gets hold of that title, she’s not letting go. The crowd boos as Ruby carries on and tells Charlotte she can hold that title real tight because she is entering the Royal Rumble!

The crowd booed that announcement prompting Ruby to respond by telling the fans they hate it because they know she will win the Royal Rumble and end the reign of the Queen. Charlotte responds telling Ruby she can win the Rumble but if she tries to take gold from her, she will fail one more time! Ruby at this point has enough and drops the microphone heading to the ring with Shotzi as the WE RIOTTS ATTACK CHARLOTTE AND BEAT HER DOWN IN THE RING UNTIL…

*CAFFEINE*

TEAM KICK RUNS OUT! DAKOTA KAI
and TEGAN NOX sprint to the ring attacking the We Riotts sending them out of the ring now the numbers game is no longer in their favor. The We Riotts retreat up the entrance ramp, talking trash as they go whilst Dakota checks on Charlotte. The Queen pushes her away prompting a “What the hell” look from Kai. She asks Charlotte what her problem is but Tegan Nox plays peacemaker between the two as we go to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, CHARLOTTE FLAIR is walking through the backstage area with a scowl on her face before being caught up to by TEAM KICK! DAKOTA KAI is blunt and to the point asking Charlotte what her problem is. Charlotte says Kai doesn’t get it but she’ll explain to them both. When you are the champion, everyone is a threat and there are no friends. Charlotte walks off, barging past TEGAN NOX leaving Team Kick confused and angry before we cut elsewhere backstage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We see BREEZANGO standing in front of the fashion set with serious looks on their face. TYLER BREEZE speaks first saying supermodels have an even shorter shelf life than most professions. FANDANGO nods saying the same can be said for ballroom dancers. Breeze looks confused as Fandango points at his legs and Breeze gives a slightly confused nod. Breeze says he doesn’t know how long they have left but neither of them has managed to win gold in their careers.

Fandango says they have had opportunities to win titles but it always just slipped out of their grasp. Breeze wonders if over the years they have not been serious enough but Fandango says there is not a thing he would change. He sighs for a moment before saying they know the end is near and they can see the young talent on Raw plus Smackdown and NXT. Breeze says they wonder how many chances they will get so they want to make this count!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD*

DOLPH ZIGGLER
makes his way out to the ring getting loud boos from the live crowd. OMOS towers over him and accompanies Ziggler to ringside with a stoic look on his face. Michael Cole says Ziggler took several weeks off to recover from the I Quit loss to Mustafa Ali and will be looking to get back on track. Elias says he fights not only an old rival but a former WWE Champion tonight in…

*KINGSTON*

KOFI KINGSTON!
A loud pop from the live crowd as BIG E joins his tag team partner and close friend, with the New-Day-themed Money in the briefcase in hand! Michael Cole says all of the New Day are in the rumble and puts over the advantage they may have with a 10th of the field in the match being New Day members. Elias says Xavier Woods is not at ringside as he is preparing for tonight's 12-man main event tag! Kofi is across the ring from Ziggler with the referee calling for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 1: Kofi Kingston w/Big E vs Dolph Ziggler w/OMOS

Match summary:
Kofi and Ziggler spend the first few minutes countering each other and showing how well they know each other due to their extensive history of feuding with each other over the IC and US titles. The longer the match goes on, the closer to the ring you can see OMOS getting! Big E keeps an eye on the bodyguard and looks to make sure he can cut off any interference from the big man. As we reach the closing stages, that focus would prove costly for Big E!

TOMMASO CIAMPA climbs over the barricade sneaking through the crowd and clobbers Mr. Money in the Bank from behind, laying into him with a series of blows. The referee is distracted by this as Kofi hits S.O.S ON ZIGGLER SO OMOS BREAKS IT! He then grabs hold of Kofi and connects with a HUGE CHOKESLAM! Ziggler jumps onto Kofi for the cover and Ciampa drops Big E with a DDT BEFORE HEADING BACK INTO THE CROWD! The referee turns back around and Ziggler steals the win!

Winner via pinfall: Dolph Ziggler (8:58)

Loud boos from the crowd as Ziggler celebrates with OMOS who remains stoic. Michael Cole says Ziggler gains some momentum ahead of the Royal Rumble. Elias says Tommaso Ciampa has once again been causing problems for the New Day and they will no doubt want payback! Kofi checks on a furious Big E as Tommaso Ciampa waves from the crowd in a taunting fashion as we cut to a commercial break.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, we can see XAVIER WOODS is nervous but he is focused as he gets ready for the main event later on tonight. The door slams open as BIG E storms in and tosses the briefcase down. KOFI KINGSTON soon follows in after him saying they will get Ziggler and Ciampa back for what they did. Woods looks confused until Big E fills him in on Ciampa’s interference. Woods apologizes saying he would have been out there but had his main event to focus on.

Both Kofi and Big E tell Woods it is OK, saying it is not his fault and they will kick Ziggler and Ciampa’s ass. We hear the door open once again and this time MUSTAFA ALI walks into the room. He shares a fist bump with the New Day and says he would be glad to kick Ciampa’s ass after what he did last week. He says he always wanted to repay the favor Kofi did after he won the WWE title and gave him the first show nearly 2 years ago so he’ll help them fight Ciampa, Ziggler and OMOS. All 4 men are all smiles as Woods goes back to getting ready as we cut elsewhere backstage to see…

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JINNY is shouting as several men in shirts run around in various outfits. AMALE sits in the background with a slight scowl on her face. She tells them to shape up and she needs the perfect outfit for the Royal Rumble. She turns to Amale and says when she wins, she can’t be looking like a slob like the other women. Amale lists several names in the rumble: Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Sasha Banks, Tegan Nox, Bianca Belair before getting cut off by Jinny saying Piper Niven. Jinny then promises to show that she is not only the most fashionable but the best when she wins the Royal Rumble next week!

When we return from the commercial break, SHEAMUS is shown walking through the back when he is stopped for an interview by CATHY KELLEY! She asks how he is feeling ahead of the 12-man tag match later tonight and Sheamus says he always loves a fight. He says he doesn’t know how many of them he will have left but his main goal is to become Intercontinental Champion before he wraps his career up! Cathy asks how he is going to get a title shot and he promises to become a problem for Swerve to the point he can’t ignore him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*FIGHT ME*

ALEXA BLISS
and MICKIE JAMES walk out onto the entrance ramp getting boos from the live crowd. Alexa looks at them with disdain while Mickie James remains focused on the ring. The commentary team says if these two get to work together in the Rumble that could prove to be an issue for the entire field especially with 11 Women’s titles between them.

*CALLING YOU OUT*

DANI LUNA
makes her way out for her team first, getting decent cheers from the live crowd after her recent run on Raw. Michael Cole puts over her coming close to beating Shayna Baszler, and she has the chance to show up in the Rumble next week. Elias says we have seen young superstars make shock eliminations in previous years, like Taynara Conti eliminating Sasha Banks and Maven eliminating the Undertaker!

*BRUTALITY*

RHEA RIPLEY
marches out with a cocky smirk on her face and gets loud cheers from the live crowd. She fist-bumps Dani Luna before the duo head to the ring. Michael Cole says Rhea Ripley has been on a tear since coming to Monday Night Raw and wonders who can stop her. Elias thinks she might be new to Raw but she is one of the most dangerous threats in the rumble. After a brief chat, Dani agrees to let Rhea enter the ring for her team whilst Mickie James starts for the other team as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 2: Alexa Bliss and Mickie James vs Dani Luna and Rhea Ripley

Match summary:
Mickie would talk a lot of trash but soon the veteran would find out that Rhea might be something she has not faced before in the ring. Rhea dominates Mickie James and Bliss has to tag in to try to turn the match around for her team. Rhea dominates the match and so does Dani Luna when in the ring. The only way Mickie and Bliss get back into the match is through cheating but in the end, Dani Luna takes out Mickie James and RHEA RIPLEY HITS THE RIPTIDE ON MICKIE JAMES for the win!

Winners via pinfall: Dani Luna and Rhea Ripley (7:55)

Rhea Ripley and Dani Luna return to their feet celebrating the victory over Mickie James and Alexa Bliss. The commentary team puts over the performance of both Rhea and Dani in this match, saying their power could lead to both women tossing a bunch of women out of the rumble next week. The celebrations continue inside the ring as we cut to a commercial break.

*LOYALTY IS EVERYTHING*

SHAYNA BASZLER
marches out when we return from the commercial break, starting the 2nd hour of Raw with her limping towards the ring full of anger. She is joined by NATALYA and JESSAMYN DUKE lagging behind her, looking slightly wary of their friend. Michael Cole brings up the loss Shayna Baszler had last week in the Raw main event when she challenged Charlotte Flair in an hour-long Ironwoman match and she won’t be in a good mood. Elias says Shayna has come out of that match with a limp due to the damage done by the figure eight leg lock.

Shayna snatches the microphone from someone at ringside and stands in the middle of the ring looking furious as she glares at the fans in the crowd. She tells them that last week, Charlotte got lucky. The crowd loudly boos that statement but Shayna shakes her head saying Charlotte got lucky she agreed to a match that favored her. Duke and Natalya nod along agreeing with Shayna whilst Michael Cole on commentary calls that statement ridiculous.

Shayna says if it was a normal singles match, she would have won as Elias rightfully points out Charlotte won the first fall. Shayna is getting more and more delusional by the minute as she tells the crowd she should be fighting for the Women’s Universal title, not Dakota Kai! She turns around asking if the rest of the MMA Horsewomen agree and they nod in agreement very quickly, almost like they are scared of Shayna before she turns back around declaring she is entering the Royal Rumble and will get her rightful Universal title shot.

Shayna paces around the ring saying no one will stop her, not even her friends. She turns to Natalya who looks to argue but smartly, thinks better of it as Shayna carries on. She says that includes her best friend, Ronda Rousey. Loud boos at the mention of that name as she tells the crowd Ronda can shift the blame all she wants but she is the reason they have lost the tag team titles, not her. Shayna wraps the promo up promising to destroy anyone in her way and slams the microphone down as Raw goes to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see KEITH LEE entering the arena with his NXT title proudly on show. He has a smile on his face before coming face to face with DREW MCINTYRE! There is tension between the two men but it is friendly as Drew comments on Keith Lee being back on his show once again. Keith Lee says he likes it around here but welcomes Drew to come visit NXT again any time he wishes. Both men have a smile on their faces until… BARON CORBIN and JINDER MAHAL walk up to them, interrupting their conversation!

Corbin tells Keith Lee that this is Monday Night Raw and he doesn’t belong in the big leagues with stars like them. Jinder tells Drew he used to hang around with top stars like him. Drew looks unimpressed telling Jinder Mahal if he is looking to get his ass beat, they can arrange that. Corbin tells Drew that he and Jinder will beat them, proving they should be in the Rumble, not them. Keith Lee comments saying if these men can defeat them, they do not deserve to be in the match, and leaves with Drew McIntyre as we cut back to the ring.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*RISE OF THE BEAST*

KAYDEN CARTER
makes her way out onto the entrance ramp in her ring gear, joined by her tag team partner KATANA CHANCE who is dressed in her street clothes. Katana hypes up her partner ahead of a big match tonight with the commentary team reminding us that if Kayden Carter can pull off an upset she will be in the Royal Rumble.

*FORCE OF GREATNESS*

NIA JAX
stomps out getting loud boos from the live crowd! She has a scowl on her first before getting to the ring and climbing over the ropes ready for a fight now. The commentary team says Nia has been on a tear these last few weeks, gearing up to be a real threat in the Royal Rumble. Kayden nods to the referee signaling she is ready and the bell is called to get this match underway!

Match 3: Kayden Carter w/Katana Chance vs Nia Jax

Match summary:
Kayden uses her speed to try to catch Nia Jax out, knocking her off her feet a couple of times. Nia Jax though is too powerful and starts to batter Kayden Carter, tossing her around like she is nothing. In the end, Nia Jax puts her away with a FIREMAN’S CARRY INTO A POWERSLAM!

Winner via pinfall: Nia Jax (3:57)

Nia Jax gets to her feet with a smirk on her face after picking up another dominant win. The commentary team wonders who can stop her next week. Nia Jax doesn’t seem to be done with Kayden Carter… SO KATANA GRABS A KENDO STICK AND BATTERS NIA UNTIL SHE DROPS KAYDEN AND LEAVES THE RING! Katana then quickly grabs a microphone and challenges her to a match next week! Nia is walking away but we can hear her off-mic shout to Katana that she accepts as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the commercial break, and SAMI ZAYN is sitting down backstage. He has a slight smile on his face looking down at the floor before looking at the camera. Whatever it takes to bring him down, he will give everything he has. Sami tells the fans he can’t promise victory as you never can in this business but he can promise he will give everything in the main event tonight and next week at the Royal Rumble.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We then cut to DANI LUNA and RHEA RIPLEY walking together backstage and having a laugh with each other. Both women exchange a bit of banter and talk about throwing one another out of the Rumble when they are interrupted by MICKIE JAMES and ALEXA BLISS! Mickie mocks the pair saying tonight was a one-off and one of them will be the Rumble winner. Rhea scoffs at that and Alexa pipes up asking what’s so funny. Rhea says that she thinks that either of them can beat her. Alexa says you are blissing me off so challenges Rhea to a match next week! Rhea with a slight smirk accepts the challenge promising to pin Bliss again!

*AMBITIOUS*

HUMBERTO CARRILLO
makes his way out to the ring to new music after the commercial break, getting boos from the live crowd. He is soon joined by the rest of the Raw branch of the Ungovernables: ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS, ZELINA VEGA and ANGEL GARZA! Michael Cole says Cesaro asked for this match, sick of being ducked by Andrade and The Ungovernables. Elias says Humberto has joined the Ungovernables to get his career back on track after a couple of years in the wilderness.

*UPPERCUT OVERTURE (1812)*

CESARO
marches out onto the entrance ramp getting loud cheers from the live crowd, joined by his close friend ILJA DRAGUNOV! Both men look fired up, keeping an eye on the Ungovernables in and outside the ring. Michael Cole says Cesaro and Andrade are both confirmed for the rumble with him saying Cesaro’s famous win in the first-ever Andre the Giant battle royal has to make him a good shout to win. Elias counters that Andrade is a former Universal Champion and will be desperate to make it back to the top. Both men stand in the ring as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 4: Cesaro w/Ilja Dragunov vs Humberto Carrillo w/Angel Garza, Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega

Match summary:
Cesaro starts the match trying to get his hands on Humberto and batters him in the early stages but the Cruiserweight plays keep away. He keeps rolling outside the ring to get some words with Zelina, Andrade and Angel. Cesaro keeps calm and doesn’t rise to the bait, talking to Ilja during these periods. The Mad Russian has an intense stare on his face during the match, looking right at Andrade and Angel across the ring.

Cesaro eventually gets his hands on Humberto Carrillo, easily overpowering the Cruiserweight who struggles to escape from the beating by the Swiss Superman. There is some talk at ringside between The Ungovernables about how to get Carrillo back in the match. Cesaro even looks like he is about to get an early win with a SHARPSHOOTER locking it in tight! Carrillo is in a ton of pain… SO ZELINA PUSHES THE ROPES FORWARD FOR CARRILLO WHO GRABS THEM!

Humberto manages to break the hold but the referee spotted Zelina! He points at the manager and sends her to the back to loud cheers from the live crowd! However, Angel uses the distraction to attack Ilja and ANDRADE ATTACKS CESARO FROM BEHIND! Andrade smirks and rolls out of the ring as Humberto uses the sneak attack to control the match. The crowd gets behind him as Ilja gets back to his feet, ready to explode but keeps his cool knowing Cesaro is still wrestling.

Cesaro struggles but fights through the offense of Humberto Carrillo, slowly rising and bit by bit through the damage done to him. Carrillo tries to fight back and even looks to distract the referee… BUT ILJA SPRINTS THROUGH THE ROPES AND DIVES THROUGH THEM WIPING OUT BOTH ANGEL AND ANDRADE! Cesaro meanwhile hoists up Humberto Carrillo who tries to fight back… BEFORE BEING HIT WITH A RICOLA BOMB! Cesaro makes the cover 1 2 3 Cesaro wins!

Winner via pinfall: Cesaro (13:39)

Cesaro gets to his feet getting loud cheers from the live crowd but doesn’t have time to breathe, as ANDRADE AND ANGEL ATTACK ILJA DRAGUNOV! Cesaro rolls out of the ring and starts to attack the Ungovernables members outside of the ring. He lays into both men with a series of European uppercuts and is in total control…ANDRADE LOW BLOWS HIM! Loud boos from the crowd as Cesaro falls to the mat. With the numbers advantage as Humberto joins in after, ANDRADE GRABS CESARO AND HITS A BRUTAL HAMMERLOCK DDT PLANTING CESARO! Andrade smirks as the Ungovernables stand tall over their former members before we cut backstage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PIPER NIVEN is sitting backstage with her tag team partner MELINA! Piper says Jinny needs to pay for her cheating antics. Melina agrees and nods in agreement with the Scot saying she spoke to Wade Barrett and got her a match with Jinny on next week’s Raw. Piper comments it will be a perfect warm-up for the Royal Rumble, promising to toss her around like a rag doll before winning the entire thing. Melina nods and says she knows Piper will do it as we cut to a commercial break.

BARON CORBIN
walks out getting loud boos from the live crowd. He has a scowl on his face as he taunts the fans on the way to the ring. Michael Cole says Baron Corbin is a former United States Champion and feels he should be in the Rumble by right. Elias snidely remarks that Corbin has never earned anything in his career and looks forward to seeing him get his ass kicked!

*SHER (LION)*

JINDER MAHAL
stomps out scowling at the fans before heading down the entrance ramp and joins Baron Corbin in the middle of the ring. Michael Cole says if there is one person the WWE Universe hates more than Corbin, it is Jinder Mahal. Elias says, unlike Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal is a former WWE Champion as well as a former United States Champion.

*LIMITLESS*

KEITH LEE
walks out getting loud cheers from the live crowd as he lifts his NXT World title into the air. He places it on his shoulder and stands at the top of the entrance ramp, soaking in the cheers from the crowd as they bask in his glory. Michael Cole says Keith Lee has broken limits in 2020 winning the North American and NXT World titles, holding both at the same time. Elias chimes in saying he has said his other shoulder is feeling empty with the NXT Champion looking to become a double champion.

*BROKEN DREAMS*

DREW MCINTYRE
joins Keith Lee at the top of the entrance ramp as they have a slight stare-down before sharing a fist bump. He gets a huge pop from the live crowd before the duo head straight to the ring. Michael Cole says both men have agreed to put their rumble spots on the line in this tag match. Elias says seeing Corbin in the Rumble is every sane fan’s worst nightmare. Once in the ring, Drew starts after a slight debate between them whilst Corbin starts for the heels as the referee calls for the bell to start the match.

Match 5: Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre vs Baron Corbin and Jinder Mahal

Match summary:
Drew McIntyre is easily in control of the match whilst tagged in, showing Corbin up and almost showing off to the live crowd. Corbin rolls to the corner and tags out bringing Jinder in prompting Keith to ask to tag in. Drew looks at him and shrugs before tagging out as Keith Lee steps into the ring with a slight smirk. Keith takes control of the match and POUNCES JINDER STRAIGHT AWAY! He plays to the crowd before SPRINGBOARDING OFF THE ROPES CRUSHING JINDER!

Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre carry on with the rest of the match, making rapid tags between each other as they try to one-up each other. The cockiness of it does allow Baron and Jinder back into the match but there is nothing they can do to keep up with their opponents tonight. In the end, Drew McIntyre lines up Jinder Mahal for a CLAYMORE… KEITH LEE TAGS HIMSELF IN! Keith grabs hold of Jinder and hits the SPIRIT BOMB! Keith makes the cover whilst Drew hits a CLAYMORE ON CORBIN as the duo picks up the win!

Winners via pinfall: Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre (6:22)

Keith Lee gets to his feet and celebrates the win as Drew kips up behind looking slightly annoyed. The commentary team puts over their performance tonight, saying they were a step above their opponents tonight in the ring showing why they are the favourites next week. Drew and Keith come face to face looking at each other, as Keith offers a hand. Drew takes a moment before shaking hands with Keith Lee whilst Raw goes on a commercial break.

TRENT SEVEN does the usual introduction for British Strong Style leaving out Pete Dunne’s name. Trent says last week was a showing of what they can do as a tag team. TYLER BATE says they are former tag team champions for a reason and says British Strong Style has never been a group to settle for one piece of gold.

Bate smiles as he tells the camera he won’t settle for taking just the Cruiserweight title from Lio Rush. Trent chimes in telling the camera they also want to become tag team champions. Trent says that will come in due time just like Angel Garza and Tommaso Ciampa getting what’s coming to them from Peter. Tyler Bate says in tonight’s main event, that he’ll show the Hurt Business what strong style means.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We then cut to RICK BOOGS and HEATH SLATER hanging out with each other backstage. Both men are playing with their guitars and tuning them. Rick asks Heath if he has gotten any more letters. Heath takes a moment before telling Rick he did. Boogs wonders who it is but Heath shakes his head saying he has no idea and wonders if someone is messing with him. Rick asks why he thinks that but Heath says no reason. Rick starts to hype Heath up saying they are both rockstars and belong at the top with Heath smiling before we zoom in on the letter, with big bold letters saying “Ditch Rick”.

*BRING THE SWAG*

ANGELO DAWKINS!
He plays to the fans getting a decent pop from the live crowd dancing with a red plastic cup in hand. He is full of confidence as he heads towards the ring. - The Hurt Business are that dominant I mean the main event just proves it with them going over Sami Zayn, Xavier Woods, Tyler Bate, Sheamus and Breezango in the 12 Man Tag

- Shayna Baszler is in the Women's Royal Rumble Match but then again so are Natalya and Ronda Rousey...I wonder if both Shafir & Duke get in?

Smackdown Live starts with its signature cold open as we are inside THE O.C. LOCKER ROOM! None of them are pleased as we pan to AJ STYLES who asks BUDDY MURPHY what he was thinking trusting Roman Reigns! Buddy said he thought he had a business deal with him but got stabbed in the back. AJ steps forward but KARL ANDERSON and LUKE GALLOWS play peacemaker with FINN BALOR standing next to Buddy Murphy and puts a hand on his shoulder saying he gets the decision.

Finn says he made a call to weaken two potential challengers, but now the Bloodline has declared war on The O.C.! BIG CASS steps forward and tells the group that he has spoken to HBK and will give Jacob Fatu a beating in tonight’s main event. AJ offers to be at ringside, but Finn says they have their own business to take care of. Instead, Finn tells Buddy and The Good Brothers to have his back before we cut to the opening video for Smackdown Live!

The boos get louder as Bryan remains unbothered with Karrion Kross declaring he will win the Royal Rumble and bring the Universal title back to the Church in honor of their fallen god. Winners via pinfall and still WWE Women’s tag team titles match: The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (7:38)

The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection gets to their feet celebrating their victory on tonight’s Smackdown Live. They lift their titles into the air and the commentary team is full of praise for them. Byron Saxton says them being in the same match is a problem for everyone in that rumble but Corey Graves argues that Sasha will toss Bayley out at the first opportunity. Bayley and Banks look at the WrestleMania 37 sign in the background as they point to it arguing who is winning the Rumble as we cut backstage to see…

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE BLOODLINE marching towards the ring! ROMAN REIGNS leads the way followed by JACOB FATU and JIMMY USO as KEVIN PATRICK stops them for an interview. He asks Roman if he can have a moment of his time. Fatu snarls at Kevin but Roman puts a hand up and signals for Fatu and Jimmy to head to the ring. They nod doing what the Tribal Chief says, as Roman signals for Kevin to carry on with his questions. Kevin nervously thanks Roman before asking if Fatu accepts Edge’s challenge for next week.

Roman smirks but tells Kevin that Jacob Fatu accepts the challenger and will Edge exactly what happens when you cross paths with his enforcer. Kevin then brings up the Bloodline stabbing the O.C. in the back but Roman cuts him off. He tells the interviewer he was just reminding the O.C. of their place on Smackdown Live and that is below the Bloodline. He then tells Kevin that he will walk out of the Rumble as Universal Champion and everyone will acknowledge him.

*A LONG WAY DOWN*

BIG CASS
marches out getting boos from the live crowd. He cuts an imposing presence as he walks to the ring with BUDDY MURPHY and THE GOOD BROTHERS walking towards the ring. Buddy Murphy jumps onto commentary and says the second Roman shows his face out here, he is taking care of him. He slams the headset down and the commentary team comments on how angry Buddy is after last week’s attack/betrayal.

*UNSTOPPABLE*

JACOB FATU
marches out getting loud boos from the crowd. He is joined by JIMMY USO but there is no ROMAN REIGNS with them at ringside. The commentary team wonders where Roman is but they speculate he is staying backstage to prepare for next week’s title match at the Royal Rumble. Fatu steps into the ring with Big Cass and the two men are clobbering each other with punches so the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Main event: Big Cass w/Buddy Murphy and The Good Brothers vs Jacob Fatu w/Jimmy Uso

Match summary:
Both men carry on the pre-match blows as they try to dominate the match with hard strikes. Jacob Fatu takes control of the match until Big Cass uses his giant frame to keep Fatu from getting too close. The commentary team says this is the closest we have seen to anyone looking like Fatu but as that is going on… WE CAN SEE ON THE TITANTRON ROMAN REIGNS WITH BRASS KNUCKLES ON HIS FIST STANDING OVER AJ AND FINN!

Buddy Murphy looks furious and leaves towards the entrance ramp as JIMMY USO STOPS HIM! The two men brawl as ROMAN REIGNS ENTERS THROUGH THE CROWD AND CATCHES LUKE GALLOWS WITH A SUPERMAN PUNCH WITH THE BRASS KNUCKLES! Big Cass takes his eye off the ball AND FATU SLAMS HIM DOWN! Fatu then heads to the top rope and hits the MIGHTY MOONSAULT to pick up the victory over Big Cass!

Winner via pinfall: Jacob Fatu (5:36)

Jacob Fatu roars to the cheers from the live crowd whilst, outside the ring, BUDDY MURPHY LAYS OUT JIMMY USO WITH A MURPHY’S LAW OUTSIDE THE RING! He turns around as Roman takes down Karl Anderson with a SPINERBUSTER TO THE FLOOR! Roman and Buddy Murphy are brawling outside the ring as Jacob Fatu goes to work laying into The Good Brothers outside the ring until…

*ROOT OF ALL EVIL*

ALEISTER BLACK AND KEVIN OWENS SPRINT OUT WITH STEEL CAIRS IN HAND!
Jacob Fatu sees them and goes to meet them… BUT GETS CUT OFF BY THE STEEL CHAIRS! The two men lay a beating on him before heading to BUDDY MURPHY AND ROMAN REIGNS LAYING THEM OUT AS WELL! Jimmy Uso, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson try to stop them as well but they also end up laid out! Owens and Black even for good measure hit The Good Brothers with DUAL POWERBOMBS ONTO THE RING APRON! Smackdown ends with Aleister Black and Kevin Owens standing tall as Smackdown fades to black!

- Roman Reigns managed to lay out AJ Styles and Finn Balor almost single handedly...that's my Tribal Chief our Tribal Chief the OTC!!! Then Buddy Murphy manages to lay out Jimmy but then Reigns manages to lay out Anderson and Gallows but then you have Owens and the WWE Universal Champion Aleister Black lay out everyone to stand tall...I mean they do realize that at the Royal Rumble PPV it is Fatal 4 Way rules...every man for himself. Aleister Black doesn't even have to be pinned or even be made to submit to lose his title. Three other men in that match besides him so he does not have the champions advantage in that match and it is no DQ.

- Heel vs Heel match as the main event sees the 2 enforcers of their respective factions, Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline beating Big Cass of The OC...just proves that The Bloodline is the more dominant of the factions

- Edge vs Fatu next week on Smackdown on the final go home Smackdown before the Rumble...I can't wait

- Karrion Kross is just a puppet...does he not realize that Seth Rollins is just using him? Because does he really think that if he were to become champion, that Rollins wouldn't just turn on him? Because Rollins is obsessed with that WWE Universal Championship and he lost it...Rollins comes back...he's going to want his rematch and where does that leave Kross? I mean I wonder if Kross just stages a coup and he takes control of this Church and he and the other members turn on Rollins?

- Daniel Bryan vs Nathan Frazier next week on Smackdown...I can't wait

- Gran Metalik vs Gable for the WWE United States Championship...I can't wait

- Bad Bunny knocking out Noam Dar...I wonder if it leads to a WrestleMania program with a bigger name star? Because Dar is just not big enough of a star for Bunny to face. I mean I would understand it if it was Morrison but then he got injured. So what other star can you put Bunny with?

- But also Edge has won a Rumble Match before winning it in 2010...can he do it again?

- Asuka the WWE Women's Champion beating Xia Li...direct message to Tay Conti

- Boss n Hug Connection retain their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against the Robert Stone Brand...but it begs the question of who is their next title defense? But also both Bayley and Sasha are in the Women's Royal Rumble Match and only 1 of them can win...will it really be every woman for herself?

WWE Monday Night RAW - January 18, 2021:

I've been away from this project for a while, and I have to say this format works so much better for you. The layout is far easier to follow, and everything is more concise and clear than the copy and paste layout from WordPad.

I don't think there's any two guys more tenured against one another than Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler - well, maybe The Miz you can factor in as well. They just have very good, reliable matches with each other. I continue to like Omos's attachment with Ziggler.

I never saw much in Jinny when she was in NXT UK, and can't say I thought a lot about Amale in my time booking this period. Either way, maybe you can do something of substance with them, and regardless it'll be fine for the women's tag team division.

A lot clearly is going on your tag division right now, as evidenced by the women's tag team match that followed. Rhea Ripley and Dani Luna is a somewhat strange pair to have, but if it served purpose to get Ripley set up for the 2021 Royal Rumble match, so be it. I think there comes a time where characters do get tired out, and I think Mickie's was beginning to run on empty in WWE during this time.

It's good to see the ratio of segments between the men's and women's division. WWE continues to have the best coverage for female talent out of the major organisations, but I still feel like WWE marginalises them to an extent with one major match and segment per show. Ready or not, more coverage like this establishes that the women are worth caring about and their storylines are important.

It's a very promo-heavy edition of RAW, and with Royal Rumble around the corner, it makes complete sense. A lot ofit does seem to cover the same ground however. In turn it emphasises the importance of the Rumble matches.

Cesaro and Humberto Carrillo would have had a great match together, even if I thought it was given a little too long. Still plenty of factions, though. I wouldn't mind seeing a few devolve and get a glimpse of what more these guys/gals can do as singles.

I think Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee having an uneasy alliance worked well, even though I wasn't convinced by Baron Corbin and Jinder Mahal as opposition. Finish was clean enough. McIntyre's WWE Championship defense against Keith on RAW in late 2020 was one of the highlights of the ThunderDome era, in my mind.

There's something with Rick Boogs and Heath Slater that I really enjoy.

I'm curious to see what James Storm brings to the table. A match with Ricochet doesn't seem to do him as much a favour as it does Storm. One does have to question the reliance of Storm at his age.

The main event worked really well for what you are going for. Odd group on the babyface side. I guess it is like a frontline against The Hurt Business faction. I never really dug the idea of matches bigger than ten-man tags, especially on television - just not enough time for everybody to look good during. I had big plans involving Swerve and The Hurt Business in the Pandemic Project. Samoa Joe fits the vibe pretty nicely, but I also don't think he should be a faction guy.

Nice write-up for this show. I forget Royal Rumble in 2021 was so late, so you actually have another week of television to get through first.

Thank you as always for the feedback. Keith Lee from this time before his health scare was on my favs and someone I was a huge fan of. On Samoa Joe, it was going to be Bobby Lashley at the end of the Hurt Business but he got an EWR injury so I needed a replacement. Did actually consider Swerve to be the main guy but also felt too much of an uber push early. Joe felt like the best guy to slot into that role :)

Lio Rush being replaced in the Rumble by his fellow Hurt Business member Cedric Alexander is a proper move but Lio Rush it sucks for him especially missing the Rumble but he is still the WWE Cruiserweight Champion so there is that

HOUSE OF MEMORIES – PANIC AT THE DISCO

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The opening video for Monday Night Raw comes to an end, and we pan around the T-Mobile Center to show the fans in the arena, loudly cheering as Michael Cole and Elias welcome us to the show. They run down the card, hyping the fact that we are six nights away from the Royal Rumble! They also confirm the main event is Swerve Strickland defending his Intercontinental title against Xavier Woods before…

*HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD*

DOLPH ZIGGLER
and OMOS walk out onto the entrance ramp! The crowd boos the duo who taunt the fans on the way to the ring. Michael Cole says Dolph got back to winning ways last week but had a slight assist from their tag team partner tonight. Elias says OMOS cuts an imposing presence but Ziggler will be without his bodyguard inside the Royal Rumble!

*NO ONE WILL SURVIVE*

TOMMASO CIAMPA
walks out with a scowl looking at the fans with disdain before heading to the ring to join his partners inside the ring. Michael Cole says Ciampa has been making an impact since coming to Raw from NXT and might be a dark horse to win the Royal Rumble. Elias says Ciampa has made a lot of enemies on the Raw roster and will have a target on his back including superstars like…

*GO HARD*

MUSTAFA ALI!
He gets a loud pop from the live crowd as the former 2-time Cruiserweight Champion looks at the men in the ring. Michael Cole says Ali is still looking to get his Cruiserweight title back long-term but right now his focus is on winning the Royal Rumble! Elias says he had good runs in the match before, lasting over 30 minutes, but he might need to last even longer to win the Royal Rumble this Sunday!

*NEW DAY NEW WAY*

BIG E
and KOFI KINGSTON walk out getting loud cheers from the live crowd. Big E shows off his New Day-themed Money in the Bank briefcase, lifting it into the air. Michael Cole says Big E already has one guaranteed World title shot but this Sunday could win another. Elias, meanwhile, talks about Kofi’s history in this match and how he is famous for saving himself from elimination time and again within the match! Once in the ring, Big E steps through the ropes whilst for their opponents Tommaso Ciampa starts the match!

Match 1: Big E, Kofi Kingston and Mustafa Ali vs Tommaso Ciampa, Dolph Ziggler and OMOS

Match summary:
Big E and Ciampa go after each other, looking to lay into each other with a series of hard punches, ready to go to war with the other man. Ziggler and Kofi end up in the match after, renewing their rivalry but Ziggler struggles and Ali comes back into the match. Ali is especially aggressive with his kicks, looking to make Ziggler suffer as the commentary team reminds us of their I Quit match just a few weeks ago. Ziggler struggles until she makes the tag to his bodyguard OMOS!

OMOS towers over Ali and Kofi, tossing them around with ease, as he starts to take complete control of the match. Big E tries to overpower him but even he struggles against the bodyguard and the heels take control of the match thanks to this with Ali getting worked over in the corner of the ring. The crowd loudly gets behind Ali and root for him to make the hot tag to bring one of the New Day back into the match but eventually, he makes the hot tag to bring BIG E BACK INTO THE MATCH!

Big E runs wild and easily overpowers Tommaso Ciampa and Ziggler before seeing OMOS on the ring apron… SPEARS HIM TO THE RING FLOOR TO LOUD CHEERS FROM THE CROWD! Big E gets back into the ring as Ziggler goes for a SUPERKICK… BIG E CATCHES IT AND LOCKS IN THE STRETCH MUFFLER! Ciampa tries to take down Big E but Kofi and Ali work together to take down Ciampa with dual dropkicks! Ziggler is trapped in the middle of the ring and taps out!

Winners via pinfall: Big E, Kofi Kingston and Mustafa Ali (10:23)

Big E drops Dolph Ziggler to the mat and celebrates his victory with Kofi Kingston sharing a hug with his close friend. Mustafa meanwhile poses and soaks in the cheers from the live crowd. The commentary puts over the performances of the babyfaces tonight and gives them good momentum going into the Royal Rumble match this Sunday. Outside the ring meanwhile, we can see Tommaso Ciampa scowling, full of anger as Raw goes to a commercial break.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ad break
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, XAVIER WOODS is shown walking through the back smiling before being stopped by CATHY KELLEY! She asks him about tonight’s main event, with him having the chance to become a singles champion in WWE for the first time in his career when he fights Swerve Strickland for the Intercontinental title! Woods is full of smiles saying he spent a lot of 2020 doubting himself but now he knows how good he is thanks to his best friends.

The interview is about to carry on but DOLPH ZIGGLER walks past in a foul mood as he mocks Woods. Xavier points out his friends just beat his ass which pisses Ziggler off as he tells Woods not only is he a loser but he will always be a loser. Woods comments on those words and says last year it would have hurt my feelings but now I am confident in myself, I know how meaningless your words are to me. Woods says he plans to win the Intercontinental title and will fight Ziggler next week, promising to put his title on the line next week too if he wins tonight!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*COAT OF ARMS*

THE UNGOVERNABLES
walk onto the entrance ramp getting boos from the live crowd with ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS and ZELINA VEGA leading the way. ANGEL GARZA and HUMBERTO CARRILLO follow them from the back as Michael Cole says Zelina had the Ungovernables running Raw at the start of 2020 but at the start of 2021, her clients are all without gold. Elias says Andrade Cien Almas will be looking to win the Rumble and become a World Champion for a 2nd time but it says Zelina’s power is slipping cause not all of her clients have been able to secure a spot in the match.

The group gets into the ring with Andrade and Zelina grabbing a microphone, with Andrade taunting the live crowd and telling them to keep tranquillo which increases the boos from the live crowd! Zelina says the Ungovernables have had a few setbacks as of late but it is time to get back on track and take over not only Raw but Smackdown. She brings up having 3 clients in the Royal Rumble this Sunday: Andrade Cien Almas, Shinsuke Nakamura and Dominik Dijakovic.

The crowd boos all three men angering The Ungovernables. Zelina makes it clear that the fans can boo all they want but her clients are the best of the best and they will prove it once again. Andrade takes the microphone saying he was too distracted due to losers within the group like Cesaro and Dragunov! The crowd loudly cheers for both men bringing a look of disdain to the face of Andrade who says he will toss Cesaro’s ass out of the Rumble like any of the other 29 men who get in his way as…

*UPPERCUT OVERTURE (1812)*

CESARO
walks out in a fancy suit and he is joined by ILJA DRAGUNOV who is in a grey suit of his own. Both men have a microphone in hand and get cheers from the live crowd as the Swiss Superman speaks first. He tells Andrade that the only people who are losers are Andrade, pointing out they have been held back from greatness having to carry their less unhonourable teammates forward. Ilja pipes in calling them cowards who have hidden away from fights. Andrade says he is never afraid of a fight and starts to swear in Spanish prompting a smile on Cesaro’s face.

The Swiss Superman then issues a challenge for a match right now to the delight of the live crowd. Andrade actually starts to undo his jacket but ZELINA VEGA STOPS HIM TO LOUD BOOS FROM THE CROWD! She says her clients will not be fighting tonight, especially Andrade. Angel winks at Zelina calling her smart and beautiful as she tells the fans she is not risking Andrade getting injured before the Royal Rumble. Ilja Dragunov says the lack of fight proves he made a mistake ever joining them and turns to Cesaro.

Both men nod and make it clear they don’t want to wait as they walk towards the ring but Zelina stops them! She says if Cesaro and Dragunov want a match with her clients, why not hype it up a bit? She smirks and says her clients will fight Cesaro and Dragunov in a trios match at Fastlane! Zelina mocks the pair saying they won’t find a partner but the pair accepts the challenge on the condition that when they win, he gets Andrade at the time and place of his choosing! Andrade accepts promising Cesaro will never get his singles match as we cut to a commercial break.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we return from the commercial break, we can see THE STREET PROFITS standing backstage. MONTEZ FORD still has his arm in a sling but ANGELO DAWKINS has a big smile on his face. He tells the camera that whilst he has been having fun on his own, he’s been missing his boy. Montez says he has been speaking to the doctors and they have confirmed he will be cleared to compete next week. Angelo tells the fans that they are issuing the challenge to the One Twos to make it one two three wins over them!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*OBSESSION*

MICKIE JAMES
walks out getting boos from the live crowd. The veteran has a smile on her face before being joined by her tag team partner ALEXA BLISS! The commentary team puts over how many Women’s titles these two have between each other and they have to be among the favourites to win the Royal Rumble this Sunday. Mickie and Alexa discuss strategy whilst they wait for…

*BRUTALITY*

RHEA RIPLEY!
She gets huge cheers from the live crowd, having endeared herself to the fans over the last couple of months on Raw. Michael Cole reminds us of the fact Rhea Ripley holds the record for the most eliminations in a Women’s Royal Rumble and that was her first time in the match. Elias says she is his bet to win the entire Royal Rumble and wonders who can stop her! Rhea stands across the ring from Mickie James with a slight smile before the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway!

Match 2: Rhea Ripley vs Mickie James w/Alexa Bliss

Match summary:
Mickie James is known as a crafty veteran for a reason as she takes her time and looks to pick apart the bigger opponent early in the match. Rhea is ready for it and tosses her around the ring, forcing James to take a powder on several occasions where she talks to Alexa Bliss about their game plan. Rhea doesn’t wait for them and takes both of them out on the outside of the ring to loud cheers from the live crowd. She picks up Mickie James and rolls her into the ring looking to go back to work!

Mickie James is in trouble and that forces Alexa Bliss to get involved with her tag team partner, distracting the referee and JAMES EYE RAKES RHEA RIPLEY! Mickie starts to take control as the commentary team wonders how much of a threat the teamwork of these two could be to the entire field inside the Royal Rumble. Mickie James keeps working over Rhea but anytime the former NXT Women’s Champion starts to look like she is making a comeback… ALEXA BLISS GETS INVOLVED!

The crowd is getting more and more fed up with the antics of Bliss outside the ring but in the closing stages of the match… DANI LUNA SPRINTS OUT AND CLOBBERS ALEXA BLISS! Dani Luna picks up Alexa Bliss and GORILLA PRESSES HER INTO THE CROWD! Back in the ring with no more distractions Rhea ends it by lifting Mickie James up and SLAMS HER DOWN WITH THE RIPTIDE! Rhea makes the cover and picks up another win on Monday Night Raw!

Winner via pinfall: Rhea Ripley (7:46)

Loud cheers from the live crowd as Ripley gets to her feet before being joined by her friend these last few weeks Dani Luna. The duo celebrates the victory in the ring with the commentary team putting over the strength of Rhea Ripley and even Dani Luna giving both women an advantage heading into the match. The two women celebrate in the ring… AS DANI GOES TO TOSS RHEA OVER THE ROPES BUT SHE COUNTERS AND SENDS DANI TO THE OUTSIDE! Dani has a smirk on her face as does Rhea with the two women bantering with each other as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see BIG E, KOFI KINGSTON and MUSTAFA ALI walk through the back with smiles on their faces. The trio are celebrating after their victory tonight as Ali high-fives both of them and says he looks forward to seeing them on Sunday. Big E and Kofi then talk about the Rumble, saying it is every man for themselves. Big E jokes they can worry about that when they toss the other 27 men out of the match.

Big E then gets serious saying tonight wasn’t enough for him, he is still not done with Tommaso Ciampa. He tells Kofi that people tell him he should be focusing on himself but he has always looked after his friends and always will! He says he wants Tommaso Ciampa in a match next week on Raw! Kofi says he’ll speak to Wade for him before looking at Big E’s briefcase. He smiles as he tells his friend eyes on the prize and that at WrestleMania 37 it will be time for his KofiMania moment.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We then see TOM PHILLIPS standing ready for an interview introducing his guests at this time ZELINA VEGA and EVA MARIE! He says they asked for this time and wants to know what Zelina has to say about her clients. Zelina shakes her head and says this interview is not about her clients. She tells Tom that this interview is about her and her new tag team partner Eva Marie. Eva is busy filing her nails not really listening as Vega says she fought Mandy on Smackdown a few weeks ago and realized she could run the women’s division too.

Eva chimes in to say that there is no one in this division more beautiful than her and she will kick everyone’s ass. We hear a wild laugh as NIKKI CROSS walks into the shot, getting really close to Eva asking if she wants to play. Zelina tells her to back off as ISLA DAWN approaches and says they heard them talking, wanting to remind the pair that this is the season of the witch and they issue a challenge for the Rumble pre-show. Zelina accepts promising to bring the WWE Women’s tag team titles back to the Ungovernables.

*NUMBER ONE*

MIA YIM
makes her way out getting some boos from the live crowd but she has a smirk on her face. The commentary team says there are still 5 spots available for the women’s Royal Rumble and Mia Yim will be looking to win tonight to stake her claim to one of those spots.

*SEVERED HEAD*

WE RIOTTS
make their way onto the entrance getting boos from the live crowd. The commentary team says RUBY RIOTT has already secured a spot in the Royal Rumble but her tag team partner SHOTZI BLACKHEART will also be looking to impress and take one of the final 5 spots in the match. The heels in the ring talk to each other discussing a little strategy before…

*CAFFEINE*

TEAM KICK
make their way out getting loud cheers from the live crowd. DAKOTA KAI and TEGAN NOX slap hands with the fans, pumped up as they get to the bottom of the entrance ramp. Michael Cole says Dakota Kai is a former NXT and tag team champion but she is yet to hold the Women’s Universal title. Elias speculates and wonders if we could see an all-Team-Kick affair at WrestleMania 37 if Tegan Nox wins the Royal Rumble and Dakota Kai wins the Women’s title from…

*ALL HAIL THE QUEEN*

CHARLOTTE FLAIR!
She lifts the Women’s Universal title into the air and stands atop the entrance ramp. She puts the title on her shoulder and walks to the ring with a scowl as she gets mostly cheers from the live crowd. Michael Cole says Charlotte Flair has risen to the top of the Women’s division again but now it’s not enemies coming after her title, it is allies. Elias comments Charlotte views anyone coming after her title as an enemy and Dakota needs to be careful. Once in the ring, Charlotte says she will start being aggressive. Team Kick holds their hands up whilst Ruby Riott starts for the heels as the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway!

Match 3: Charlotte Flair and Team Kick vs We Riotts and Mia Yim

Match summary:
Charlotte Flair once she steps into the ring shows exactly why she is the Women’s Universal title, dominating the match and her rivals in the ring. She is in control of the match and works over them but refuses to make the tag at first, wanting to do it all herself. This allows the superior teamwork of We Riotts to change the course of the match and we see Charlotte Flair in trouble in the corner of the ring. Team Kick looks annoyed by this but stays on the apron cheering Charlotte Flair on.

Charlotte eventually fights out of the work by the heels in the corner of the ring and makes it to the corner where DAKOTA KAI TAGS IN! Kai takes control of the match and tags in Tegan Nox as Team Kick takes control of the match for their team. In the end, Dakota Kai and Charlotte take care of We Riotts whilst Tegan Nox hits the SHINIEST WIZARD on Mia Yim to pick up the win for her team.

Winners via pinfall: Charlotte Flair and Team Kick (9:27)

Tegan gets to her feet and is joined back in the ring by Dakota Kai as Team Kick shares a hug in the ring. Charlotte scowls outside the ring and puts down Mia Yim as the commentary team puts over the performance of the faces in this match. The referee brings the Women’s Universal title into the ring but drops it to the mat. Kai goes over and picks it up… AS CHARLOTTE APPEARS IN THE RING AND SNATCHES IT FROM HER! Kai looks a bit annoyed as Charlotte holds it in the air and leaves the ring whilst the show goes to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, CHARLOTTE FLAIR is stomping through the back before being stopped by CATHY KELLY for an interview! She asks Charlotte why she reacted the way she did to Dakota Kai passing her the title. Charlotte looks at Cathy with disdain and tells her she doesn’t know what it is like at the top of the Women’s division. She doesn’t have allies now she is a 9-time champion; she has enemies coming for her crown!

TEAM KICK walks into the shot not happy as DAKOTA KAI asks Charlotte what her problem is. Charlotte says Team Kick are good friends but she doesn’t have friends when it comes to her Women’s Universal title. TEGAN NOX says she doesn’t believe that and says the better woman will win this Sunday. Charlotte scoffs at this suggestion from Tegan Nox and walks off telling the pair whilst they think like that, they will never beat her for the Women’s Universal title.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After an introduction from the commentary team, we cut to a room backstage to see MICHAEL COLE sitting between DREW MCINTYRE and NXT World Champion KEITH LEE! Michael thanks both of them for agreeing to sit down with him. Drew and Keith nod politely saying it is not a problem. Michael starts off by first asking Drew McIntyre what he thinks of Keith Lee. The Scotsman is full of respect for the NXT World Champion and says he has been watching him closely on NXT.

Keith with a slight smile asks if he has and Drew nods. He is always keeping an eye on the future because he knows how much hard work it took to make it back to the WWE and make it to the top. He has seen the limits Keith Lee has broken to make it to the top of NXT, holding that belt for 6 months. He even saw him become a double champion whilst holding the North American title. Michael then turns to Keith Lee and asks the NXT Champion his thoughts on Drew McIntyre.

He smiles slightly, saying he also has great respect for the man in front of him. He saw Drew McIntyre fighting around the world to get here and was a little disappointed they never got the chance to wrestle. Drew smiles and tells Keith he gets the chance this Sunday. Keith nods and tilts his head before saying he also saw his rise to the top of Raw and his WWE title reign. He tells Drew that when he was in the King of the Ring he knew Drew was the champion he was going to pick to fight at Survivor Series if he won.

Keith says he looked at Drew McIntyre as a true fighting champion and wanted to beat the best. Michael Cole says both men have recently lost to Samoa Joe and are both looking to get a rematch with him. Drew nods and says Samoa Joe was the man who ended his WWE title reign. He says he needs to get back to the top of this company and he knows he has to run through Samoa Joe to do it. Keith Lee meanwhile says he has a black mark on his record for 2020 citing the loss to Samoa Joe and needs to prove he is the champion in WWE.

Michael Cole says Drew McIntyre has an advantage having not only entered the Royal Rumble before but also winning the match. Keith says he has never had a chance to win the match before and plans to win it on his first attempt. Drew says the Rumble is one of the toughest matches you can enter but he would have his money in Keith if he wasn’t in it. Michael thanks both men for their time as they rise to their feet and meet in the middle of the room shaking hands with a determined look on their faces as we go to a commercial break.

RICOCHET makes his way out upon the return from the commercial break getting a decent pop from the live crowd. *DO I*

JAMES STORM

The commentary team says James Storm won’t be many people’s favorites to win but he could cause an upset with him looking to prove himself as a singles superstar. James stands in the ring across from Ricochet as the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway!

Match 4: Ricochet vs James Storm

Match summary:
Ricochet starts the match off at a fast pace looking to overwhelm James Storm. James seems unsure how to react to it and even rolls to the outside for a moment. He walks up to a fan… AND SNATCHES A BEER DRINKING IT! The crowd reigns down the heat on James Storm before he turns around… RICOCHET DIVES OVER THE ROPES AND WIPES HIM OUT! The crowd loudly cheers as Ricochet high-fives the fan before sending James Storm back into the ring.

Ricochet once again controls most of the match but James Storm is crafty and stays alive looking for any opportunity to sneak out a win. Storm mounts a fight back dominating the match and tossing Ricochet around but he struggles to find a way to stop Ricochet who plants him to the mat with a DDT! Ricochet then looks to SPRINGBOARD OFF THE ROPES… LAST CALL SUPERKICK! An insane counter from James Storm who jumps onto him and makes the cover for the win!

Winner via pinfall: James Storm (8:10)

James Storm gets to his feet getting a mixed reaction due to how cool the finish was but he smugly smirks as he gloats to the crowd promising to win the Royal Rumble. The commentary puts over James weathering the storm Ricochet brought to him and that will be a key skill depending on when he enters the match.

Trent smirks slightly and tells the camera that this is what happens when you run your mouth to British Strong Style.

Tyler makes it clear that the second Lio Rush is cleared to compete. He wants his Cruiserweight title match but as things stand, they are free this week to fight someone else. Trent nods and says they are one of the best tag teams on Raw which some people have forgotten so they want the chance to remind people. Trent says he has spoken to Wade and has requested a match on the Royal Rumble pre-show, ready to take on anyone ending the promo as we cut back to the ring.

THE HURT BUSINESS in their locker room! MVP is in a crisp suit as well as SAMOA JOE, EJ NDUKA, and LIO RUSH! Lio Rush though also has a gold face protector mask on with a noticeable scowl on his face. SWERVE STRICKLAND, CEDRIC ALEXANDER and SHELTON BENJAMIN are in the ring gear as they warm up. MVP tells the fans that they are the Hurt Business and business is truly booming. He walks over to Lio Rush saying that other wrestlers to try to set up have to break our noses in an attempt to stop us but they can’t.

Lio tells the camera that Tyler Bate might have broken his nose but he will kick his ass. Lio tells us the doctors are the only thing that has stopped him from doing this week but he is not done with Tyler Bate. MVP takes back over saying this will be a week where the Hurt Business prove their dominance again in tonight’s main event, Swerve will keep the Intercontinental title around his waist and at the Royal Rumble Samoa Joe will crush the dreams of Sami Zayn!

Swerve chuckles a little bit and asks the champion to keep the title warm, once again teasing coming for him if he wins the Rumble. Joe is ready to step forward but Cedric steps in between them breaking the tension. He tells the pair who says Swerve is winning the match and hypes up his chance, promising to do it on behalf of his friend Lio who no longer can take part in the match. Shelton steps into the ring for the champs whilst Breeze starts for the challengers as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 6: World tag team titles match: The Hurt Business © w/MVP vs Breezango

Match summary:
Breezango comes into this match giving it everything they have and refusing to go down easily. Shelton and Cedric are more than willing to meet the fight and keep in control of the match for the most part throughout. As the match goes on the champions take control and isolate Fandango until he makes the hot tag bringing Breeze into the match. SAMI ZAYN!
He gets a loud pop from the crowd as he fires up the fans before heading into the ring. He shakes hands with the Miz before having a brief stare-down with Samoa Joe. He takes a seat as Miz goes to the middle of the two and thanks them both for appearing on the show. Joe rolls his eyes whilst Sami remains polite. Miz asks Sami the first question and says how is he feeling ahead of potentially the biggest match of his career.

Sami is about to speak but Joe cuts him off asking Miz why he is asking the challenger the first question. Joe gets to his feet and tells Miz he should be showing the WWE Champion the appropriate amount of respect. Miz a little bit intermediated nods and says sorry to Sami before asking Joe about the tension within the Hurt Business. Joe looks annoyed at the question but tells Miz there is no “tension” between them. Just hungry athletes who want to make it to the top but he is starving anyone trying to make it to the top at his expense!

Miz then turns to Sami and is about to repeat his question but Sami says there is no need to repeat the question. He tells Miz that he is feeling a whole mix of emotions, he knows how lethal Samoa Joe is. He has been aware for years of what Samoa Joe can do but Joe also knows what he can do. He says he has the backing of the fans and he plans on finally becoming WWE Champion. Miz looks to ask his next question but Joe cuts him off again saying that all it will ever be is a dream!

He says Sami is just like these fans, with all of the potential to make it, to be great but you don’t have the killer edge to do what it takes and make that extra step. Miz tries to get the interview back under control by telling Samoa Joe that when his hand goes up, his mouth goes shut so JOE PIEFACES MIZ! Boos from the crowd… SAMI CATCHES JOE BY SURPRISE WITH AN EXPLODER SUPLEX INTO THE CORNER! Sami doesn’t stop there and hits TWO HULLEUVA KICKS! - Final go home show for RAW and it definitely definitely did not disappoint it was a good show. 6 more days until the Royal Rumble PPV and I can't wait. I wonder if at the Royal Rumble PPV during the Men's Royal Rumble Match and the Women's Royal Rumble Match if we get to see who has the most eliminations in each Match or who spends the longest time in each Royal Rumble Match and which numbers the entrants come in at?

- I can definitely see the Royal Rumble entry number tumbler segments coming back at the PPV itself especially backstage

- Sami Zayn hitting not 1 but 2 Helluva Kicks on the WWE Champion Samoa Joe...that's what it is gonna have to take to put Joe down especially if he wants to become WWE Champion

- Keith Lee the NXT Champion and Drew McIntyre...they do realize that in the Men's Royal Rumble Match only 1 of them can win...it's every man for himself...so it is only a matter of time before these 2 turn on each other

- Sheamus wanting the IC Title makes sense because it is the only title he's yet to win and if he does that he becomes a Grand Slam Champion...so seeing Swerve/Sheamus as a potential program I can't wait

- It is about time Zelina thought about herself and look for gold but realistically she isn't beating Charlotte Flair for that WWE Women's Universal Championship or she's not beating Asuka either for her WWE Women's Championship...but her & Eva Marie as a tag team going after the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship...she does realize that Sasha Banks & Bayley are the champions right? Or she does realize that she's going to have to deal with the MMA Horsewomen too right?

- A 6 Man Tag...The Ungovernables of Andrade, Garza and Carrillo facing Cesaro, Ilja and a mystery partner but I can only imagine who Cesaro & Ilja get to be their partner

News update:

Peyton Royce breaks her leg and is out for 7 months

In bad news for the Smackdown roster, Peyton Royce broke her leg at a house show during the week. She will now be out of action until the summer due to this. We have heard from sources backstage that they will try to find a use for Billie Kay whilst Peyton is out. We have also heard from sources the Iiconics were going to have a featured spot on the WM card which this injury scuppers.

Mod note: Bit of a blow as had a fun WM match planned for the Iiconics
