WWE NEWS:

Rhyno has left the WWE:

Rhyno has left the WWE due to his contract expiring. WWE did offer him a new contract but Rhyno wanted to explore options with other companies and he is now expected to join IMPACT.

Dolph Ziggler debuts in NXT!

After announcing he was leaving Monday Night Raw on the latest episode, Dolph Ziggler made his debut in NXT as William Regal announced him as the brand's latest signing. According to backstage rumors, the reason for this is two-fold. The first reason is to give Dolph Ziggler a bit of a reset after years of bad booking. The second reason is due to AEW. With AEW coming to TV soon, WWE are expected to place NXT on the same night to counter-program AEW and wanted a main roster star to join the brand. Finn Balor was originally considered but they decided against this as there were more plans in place for him on Smackdown in comparison to Dolph Ziggler on Raw.

Booker note: I felt Ziggler did not have a role in my thread at this moment in time and sending him to NXT for a while till I have a spot as well as giving him some time away from the show is for the best. Also going to be semi-realistic with the talent who left/leave in real life. If it is someone who is clearly set on leaving they will (like Rhyno above) but someone who might stay if treated better, then I will keep (hint hint Luke Harper).

The winner of the match will go on to face Rey Mysterio at Summerslam for the Cruiserweight title. With Rey Mysterio introducing a new title belt on next week's Raw, it is exciting times within the Cruiserweight division.

Ricochet injury at a house show:

Monday Night Raw
July 1st:

Dallas, Texas

Monday Night Raw starts with the usual video package as we cut to the commentary team who welcome us to the show. Michael Cole hypes up the show announcing we will have the start of the Raw Women's title tournament with the winner facing The Man Becky Lynch at Summerslam. Big Show also announces we will see Tyler Breeze take on EC3 in singles action. And in the main event of the show, we will see the number one contender to the Universal title Aleister Black take on Bobby Roode!

*ROOT OF ALL EVIL*

Say the devils name and he shall appear! Aleister Black makes his way out to the ring getting a loud pop from the crowd as he has a stoic look on his face. He takes his time as Michael Cole puts over how lethal the Black Mass is and Black's title run in NXT only came to an end due to Johnny Gargano costing him his title. Big Show also puts over the fact he is yet to be beaten in singles action on Monday Night Raw. Aleister Black once inside the ring takes a seat, cross-legged in the center of the ring as he looks to address the fans.

Aleister Black: Since coming to Monday Night Raw, I have had one goal. Becoming Universal champion. And ever since Ricochet left for new lands, I have been going through everyone in my path.

Cheers from the live crowd.

Aleister Black: I have the devil on my back and next week, I claim my prize. Seth Rollins, you are the top star on Raw.

Black takes a moment before carrying on.

Aleister Black: I came to this place to test myself against the best. Good or bad, it is just a matter of perspective. I just want to fight the best there is.

Aleister Black rises to his feet.

Aleister Black: Rollins, you are a good man who has done bad things. We all know about your history.

Mixed reaction from the crowd with some agreeing with what Black is saying whilst others have forgiven Rollins for his actions.

Aleister Black: You have many sins that I will absolve you off next week as you will fade, fade to...

*BURN IT DOWN/ SECOND COMING*

A loud pop from the live crowd as the current Universal champion makes his way to the ring. Big Show says things might kick off after what Black had to say about Seth's past. Seth Rollins steps into the ring coming face to face with Aleister Black. The crowd are hyped up as the two popular superstars stand face to face as Rollins looks to speak.

Seth Rollins: Absolve me of my sins? Black, I will always live with the sins of my past.

Seth Rollins turns to the crowd as Black stands there stoic as ever.

Seth Rollins: The things I did, the brothers I stabbed in the back to get to the top. That will never be washed away.

Seth turns back around and comes face to face with the Dutch Destroyer.

Seth Rollins: Each day, I live with what I have done and I use it to drive me to be a true champion for these fans. To show people they can become a better person even after making mistakes in their past.

The cheers get louder as Aleister Black stares a hole through the champion.

Seth Rollins: And next week, I will show everyone why this is Monday Night Rollins!

Black remains stoic as Rollins stares him down.

Aleister Black: Rollins, next week you can show the world what you like but you will suffer the same fate as everyone else as you fade to black.

Black drops the microphone to the mat as both men stare each other down as the tension can be cut with a knife. Seth Rollins lifts his Universal title in the air as Michael Cole once again hypes up the main event but also hypes up the Universal title match next week as these two stars go head to head.

*AMAZING (REMIX)*

As we return from the commercial break, Naomi makes her way out getting a decent pop from the live crowd. Big Show on commentary tells us that right now we are going to have the first of the four Round 1 matches in the Women's number one contender tournament as Paige looks to find Becky Lynch's next challenger.

*SQUARE UP*

Sonya Deville fixes her MMA gloves as she marches to the ring. Michael Cole on commentary informs us of a ruling made by Paige banning anyone from ringside to make sure Becky Lynch gets the best possible challenger at Summerslam. Sonya jogs up and down on the spot in the ring as Naomi looks hyped up as the referee calls for the bell getting this underway.

Match 1: Sonya Deville vs Naomi

Match summary: Naomi has a good showing at the start of the match as she uses her athleticism to control the match with Sonya struggling to keep up. Sonya fights back as she uses her MMA skills to wear down the leg of Naomi and slow her down. From there Sonya grinds Naomi down and in the end, gets her in a Kimura after Naomi falls off the top ropes due to the damage done to her leg during the match! Naomi tries to find a way out of the lethal hold but she is forced to tap out!

Winner via submission: Sonya Deville (6:20)

Sonya rises to her feet post-match having picked up a massive win tonight and is now 2 matches away from a shot at the Raw Women's title at Summerslam. As the tournament brackets appear on the screen Big Show hypes up a potential Fire and Desire semi-final match. Meanwhile, in the ring, we can see Naomi struggling with her leg as Sonya lets out a cocky smirk as she heads up the ramp. We then cut backstage as we can see Oney Lorcan sat on a chair as he stares at the camera.

Oney Lorcan: You want to know why I'm going to win the fatal four-way next week?

Oney Lorcan shakes his head.

Oney Lorcan: Because this division is WEAK! This division cares too much about sportsmanship. Where did that get me on NXT and 205 Live? Nowhere!

Oney rises to his feet looking angry (well even angrier than normal).

Oney Lorcan: You saw what I did to Tony Nese. I did it because he is weak. He is too soft. The fact someone like him has been Cruiserweight champion and I haven't, it makes me sick!

Oney kicks over the chair in a rage before looking at the camera.

Oney Lorcan: Next week I earn my place at Summerslam and then I take the Cruiserweight title from Rey Mysterio. Because I'm the only one strong enough to kill a legend!

Oney is breathing heavily as he stares at the camera looking as intense as ever.

*OMEN IN THE SKY*

We return from the commercial break as The Club walk to the ring with AJ Styles front and center. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have their Raw tag team titles on their shoulders as Michael Cole talks about the group returning to their former glory in the last few weeks. Big Show also talks about AJ's comments last week calling Mustafa Ali's win over him a fluke. Michael Cole says Ali will think otherwise but Big Show wonders if Ali would be able to beat Styles one on one. Now the Club are in the ring AJ Styles looks to speak.

AJ Styles: Let me start off by saying this. It should be me versus Seth Rollins next week for the Universal title, not Aleister Black!

Boos from the crowd as they clearly disagree with AJ Styles.

AJ Styles: I'm the most phenomenal person on this roster! There is no one on this roster who can beat me.

At this point, the crowd responds by chanting “Ali, Ali” which makes AJ Styles angry.

AJ Styles: Him pinning me was a fluke! Put him in a one on one match against me and I will show him what a phenomenal performer looks like!

Karl Anderson: But you nerds wouldn't know what a phenomenal performer looks like.

Cheap heat but it works as Luke Gallows is passed the microphone.

Luke Gallows: You people cheer for losers like Jey Uso and his broken brother.

Boos from the crowd Gallows mocks the injured Jimmy Uso before passing the microphone back to Karl Anderson.

Karl Anderson: Or Ryder and Hawkins.

AJ Styles: I mean you boys beat them so bad, you sent Curt Hawkins into hiding.

Boos from the crowd as The Club in the ring too sweet each other.

AJ Styles: And since coming back the loser is too scared to face you two again. Because Curt Hawkins knows what will happen when he steps into the ring with Good Brothers once again!

*WEIGHTLESS*

Jey Uso: Yo, yo, yo. We ain't hearing any more of that rubbish! We aren't having it fam.

Jey Uso leads the way standing in front next to his friend Zack Ryder as Curt Hawkins follows behind the pair looking at the ramp clearly not looking at all confident.

Jey Uso: You three stand in that ring, in a great big circle jerk and start dissing my boys? Nah Uce we ain't having it.

Cheers from the crowd as Jey Uso looks fired up. However, AJ responds by laughing with his boys.

AJ Styles: Can Curt Hawkins not speak for himself? Is he too scared? Or has he remembered his level?

Karl Anderson: What kind of loser goes on a 269 match losing streak?

Curt Hawkins looks angry as he looks like he is going to speak but he can't bring himself to respond as he passes the mic back to Jey Uso looking to walk off. Zack Ryder goes after him as AJ Styles laughs in the ring.

AJ Styles: See? He can't even respond because he knows it's the truth. If I fought him in this ring I would beat him without even trying!

Jey Uso: OK put your money where your mouth is then!

Curt Hawkins stops looking confused. AJ is in the ring laughing as Hawkins grabs the mic from Jey.

Curt Hawkins: Jey what are you doing? I can't beat AJ Styles I'm just a los...

Zack Ryder snatches the microphone!

Zack Ryder: Bro, you're not a loser. Listen to what they are saying about you. Prove them wrong next week and face AJ Styles.

Curt is unsure what to say as he weakly nods clearly still doubting himself as AJ laughs in the ring.

AJ Styles: See you next week Curt. Can't wait to be the first name in your next losing streak.

AJ drops the microphone as The Club stand in the ring and laugh at Curt Hawkins on the outside who clenches his fists as Ryder and Jey Uso try to encourage their boy.

*#MMMGORGEOUS*

As we return from the commercial break, Prince Pretty makes his way out to the ring with his selfie stick in hand as the crowd cheer for the popular supermodel as he makes his way to the ring. Breeze is strutting his stuff, Michael Cole tells us Paige has made AJ Styles vs Curt Hawkins official for next week's Monday Night Raw. Big Show wonders if Curt Hawkins has a chance of beating the Phenomenal one?

*TOP ONE PERCENT*

EC3 makes his way out as the crowd boos the one percenter as he is joined by his manager/ assistant Drake Maverick. Both men walk to the ring as Big Show reminds the fans of what happened last week and the fact EC3 felt disrespected by Tyler Breeze and will be looking to show Breeze does not belong in the ring with him. Michael Cole also mentions EC3 will be feeling the pressure to win tonight after a slow start to his time on Monday Night Raw.

Match 2: Tyler Breeze vs EC3 w/Drake Maverick

Match summary: Breeze starts off hot causing EC3 to roll to the outside, looking frustrated. EC3 gains the upper hand thanks to Drake Maverick getting in between the two men on the outside. Breeze sends Drake into the barricade but EC3 pounces on Tyler Breeze and takes control of the match, slowing down the pace before tossing Tyler Breeze back into the ring.

Once inside the ring, he starts to work over the supermodel, really looking to wear him down. Breeze struggles as EC3 looks desperate to pick up the win tonight and get back on track. However, Breeze mounts a comeback and starts getting back in control. He lines up EC3 looking to finish him with the Unprettier! However as this is happening, Drake Maverick makes his way over to Breeze's selfie stick.

Drake Maverick grabs hold of the stick and teases breaking it, as Breeze drops EC3 and rolls to the outside as he clobbers Drake Maverick with a supermodel kick! Breeze makes his way back into the ring but the distraction has allowed EC3 to recover. EC3 catches Breeze with a flying clothesline dropping Breeze. EC3 wastes no time lifting Breeze up and hits him with the Top One Percent. EC3 makes the cover and picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: EC3 (8:35)

EC3 gets to his feet, soaking in all the boos from the fans as Drake Maverick is still down and out on the outside of the ring. Michael Cole says EC3 should give the assist to Drake Maverick because without his interference tonight, Breeze had the match won. Tyler Breeze is shown in the ring looking annoyed at losing tonight as EC3 heads up the ramp with a now semi-conscious Drake Maverick gloating about picking up the victory.

*BOOYAKA 619*

The Cruiserweight champion Rey Mysterio makes his way out joined by his son Dominick, without his Cruiserweight title getting a pop from the live crowd. In the ring, we can see a podium set up with a title belt clearly under a black cloth. Big Show on commentary being a really good friend of Mysterio's hypes up what he has done in his career and what he has done for wrestling over the years. Rey Mysterio is now in the ring as his son stands behind him with a massive smile on his face as Rey looks to address the live crowd.

Rey Mysterio
: I just want to tell you fans how special tonight is. Not because of me but because of you people.

Cheers from the fans as Rey smiles.

Rey Mysterio: Without you people, I would not be where I am today. You fans give me strength, you give me support and you made me want to bring the Cruiserweight division back to where it belongs.

Rey makes his way over to his son smiling at him.

Rey Mysterio: And it is not just me you give strength to. Watching the fans cheer me on and support me inspired my son to follow his father in his footsteps as he prepares to step into the ring.

Rey and Dominick share a hug in the ring as Rey makes his way over to the podium as he gets ready to unveil the title belt.

Rey Mysterio: But this isn't just about us. This is about the Cruiserweight division and I want a new title belt to represent that.

Rey Mysterio pulls the black cloth off the podium and reveals the brand new title belt getting a loud pop from the live crowd. Here is what it looks like:

u2rgxlw0g2r21.jpg

Rey Mysterio grabs hold of the Cruiserweight title lifting it into the air showing it off to the fans. Once he is done he passes the title to his son who places the title around his waist.

Rey Mysterio: This is a new era for the Cruiserweight division. And next week I find out who gets to challenge me for this belt at Summerslam. And looking at the names, all four men would be worthy challengers.

Rey lets out a smile being respectful as ever.

*BOLLYWOOD BREAKDOWN*

Boos from the crowd as the Cruiserweight tag team The Singh Brothers make their way out with sunglasses on their faces as Rey Mysterio and Dominick look confused.

Samir Singh: You made a massive mistake tonight Rey.

Sunil Singh: Massive!

Samir Singh: You had a title unveiling and you didn't invite WWE's only Bollywood stars?

Sunil Singh: What a mistake.

Samir Singh: We are worldwide icons. I bet everyone in the crowd has seen our films.

Sunil Singh: Let's hear it if you have seen our movies!

Complete silence from the crowd, which makes Dominick in the ring laugh. The Singh Brothers at this point slide into the ring and stare at Rey's son.

Samir Singh: What are you laughing at? Did your dad fail to teach you respect?

Boos from the crowd as Rey looks at the pair.

Rey Mysterio: I think it is time for you to leave.

Sunil Singh laughs as he walks over to Rey putting his hand on Rey's shoulder.

Sunil Singh: Rey you need to learn to treat real stars like us with respect. We came out here to bring interest to your division. We are here to help.

Dominick at this point has had enough and moves Sunil's hand off Rey's shoulder.

Dominick: Get your hands off my dad!

Samir, however, responds to this by slapping Dominick in the face!

Samir Singh: Who do yo...

Rey Mysterio dropkicks Samir sending him flying before taking down Sunil Singh with a wheelbarrow bulldog! Rey then checks on his son who says he is fine. Rey can be heard saying a few words to his son. Dominick nods and both men charge at the rising Singh Brothers and hits them with dual hurricannas getting a massive pop from the crowd! Both Rey and Dominick look to the crowd before nodding as the pair hit A 619 ON EACH OF THE SINGH BROTHERS! The fans let out a loud pop as Rey and Dominick share a hug in the ring whilst the Singh brothers lay down and out in the center of the ring.

As we return from the commercial break we see Tony Nese sat on a chair staring at the camera.

Tony Nese: Let me start by saying this. Oney you will pay for what you did to me last week. You think I'm weak? I will prove otherwise. But I can't let that cloud my judgment as there are two other opponents in the match.

Tony Nese takes a moment before looking to carry on.

Tony Nese: So you want to know why I'm going to win at Summerslam? I mean I've become champion before. I know what it is like to be at the top and I thrive on competition. So stepping into the ring with three of the best Cruiserweights in the world? I'm more than ready and I will win because I'm the premier athlete.

We then cut to the commentary team as Michael Cole hypes the fatal four-way next week. Big Show tells us we will hear from Akira Tozawa and Noam Dar before the end of the show.

*WHAT YOU THINK*

Tamina makes her way to the ring getting a very small reaction from the crowd as Michael Cole and Big Show carry on telling us about the fatal four-way next week.

*THE NEXT VOYAGE*

Kairi Sane makes her way out with her telescope in hand as she spies Tamina in the ring but her eyes will be on the prize that comes from winning this tournament, a shot at the Raw Women's title at Summerslam. Michael Cole puts over Kairi Sane and the impressive win she picked up over the 6 time Women's champion Mickie James on the Stomping Grounds pre-show. Once inside the ring, Tamina looks cocky whilst Kairi looks way ahead of the match due to the size of her opponent.

Match 3: Kairi Sane vs Tamina

Match summary: Kairi Sane may have come into this match a little wary but she quickly overcomes Tamina as she uses her strikes to take down her larger opponent and in the end hits her with an In-sane elbow advancing to the semi-finals!

Winner via pinfall: Kairi Sane (4:29)

Kairi Sane gets to her feet all smiles as usual and is one step closer to a title shot at Summerslam. Michael Cole hypes up the potential of a Becky Lynch vs Kairi Sane match at Summerslam and wonders if the pirate princess can get her hands on some treasure!

We return from the commercial break as we can see Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura are sat in a locker room together and silence speaks for itself with neither man wanting to talk to the other. The door however suddenly opens and Lana walks in. Rusev gets up and kisses his wife on the lips as Shinsuke in the background rolls his eyes.

Rusev: So what was your idea?

Lana: So I spoke to Paige and next week we have a match against the debuting Street Profits!

Rusev nods and kisses his wife again as Shinsuke mutters something under his breath.

Rusev: What did you say?

Shinsuke Nakamura: Nothing. Me no speak English.

Shinsuke lets out a troll-like smirk which only pisses off Rusev.

Lana: Listen Shinsuke this is a big opportunity for you two to get back on the map. You beat the Street Profits and we might get a shot at the tag team titles.

Shinsuke holds his chin before nodding.

Shinsuke Nakamura: OK. I will carry your husband to victory.

Shinsuke walks off and leaves Rusev stood there looking angry.

Rusev: Carry? I should knock some sense into him.

Lana: Honey just ignore him OK. I know who the true star on this team is. I mean who else has a day named after him?

Rusev smiles and chuckles to himself a little before kissing his wife as we cut to what looks like a bar. We see a bunch of people partying in the background as The Street Profits are sat with a couple of drinks next to them, talking to each other.

Angelo Dawkins: Yo have you heard the news?

Montez Ford: Kevin Hart Smith took a lie detector test!

Angelo Dawkins: Wait what? No bro, not that. No, the big news is...

Montez Ford: KSI is going fight Logan Paul one more time.

Angelo Dawkins: No dude. Rusev and Shinsuke want the smoke.

Montez Ford: Oh they want the smoke?

Angelo Dawkins: Oh they want it. Next week we are taking on Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Montez Ford: Oh man that is some fire.

Montez does an over the top celebration jumping in the air, clearly hyped up.

Montez Ford: Two former United states champions? Shinsuke Nakamura who won the royal rumble. Rusev who beat John Cena.

Angelo Dawkins: Hey we asked for the smoke and we got it.

Both men high five each other.

Montez Ford: Now let's go PARTY!

Montez heads to the dance floor and starts busting a move as Angelo Dawkins chuckles before joining his friend. The pair are clearly the life and soul of the party as the following graphic appears on the screen:

The Street Profits
Bringing the swag back to Monday Night Raw

We return from the commercial break as we can see Noam Dar sat on a chair staring at the camera as he is noticeably chewing his gum excessively loud.

Noam Dar: Why do I need to do this? Every smart person knows the Scottish Supernova is going to Summerslam.

Dar spits his gum out.

Noam Dar: I mean look at the people I'm facing. They just don't measure up. Oney is an angry little troll, Tony Nese was a paper champion and Akira? Akira is missing his buddy, Brian Kendrick.

Noam Dar smirks pulling out another lot of gum and sticking it in his mouth as he begins chewing super loud once again.

Noam Dar: And then at Summerslam, I get to break Rey Mysterio's leg and put the legend on the shelf where he belongs. The young always replace the old!

Noam Dar once again spits out his gum before walking off looking every bit the cocky prick he is. We then cut to Charly Caruso who is stood backstage ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, Mustafa Ali.

Mustafa Ali walks into the shot with a big smile on his face. Ali is in a hoodie as he smiles at Charly Caruso.

Charly Caruso: Ali, what did you think of AJ's comments earlier on tonight calling your pinfall on him a fluke?

Mustafa Ali: Listen AJ Styles can say what he likes but if he wants to back those words up I will take him on, any time, any place.

Charly Caruso: My...

???: Ali is ducking the real fight.

Charly Caruso and Mustafa Ali turn around to see Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush. Bobby Lashley stands behind Lio looking angry and serious whilst Lio does what he does best, run his mouth.

Lio Rush: You need to stop focusing on AJ and focus on the man of the hour, the man with all the power, the man who eliminated you from the Elimination Chamber, Walking Armageddon himself Bobby Lashley!

Mustafa Ali: Is that a challenge?

Mustafa Ali showing no fear as he barges past Lio Rush and stands in front of Bobby Lashley.

Lio Rush: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Not here. A match with my main man needs hype. We will go to Paige and next week, Bobby Lashley will display all the power and show Paige why he should fight Seth Rollins at Summerslam.

Mustafa Ali keeps eye contact with Bobby Lashley the whole time Lio is talking, knowing who the real threat is.

Mustafa Ali: See you next week.

Ali and Lashley stare each other down as we cut back to the ring.

*SKY'S THE LIMIT*

The crowd let out a loud pop as Mrs. Money in the Bank and one-half of the Women's tag team champions makes her way to the ring. Michael Cole on commentary mentions the title shot Sasha Banks already has and says maybe Sasha Banks is eying up all the gold. Big Show mentions we have seen very few double champions in WWE but we haven't seen a triple champion before.

*NEW FOUNDATION*

Also getting a pop from the live crowd but nowhere near as large, Natalya makes her way to the ring ahead of a big opportunity tonight. Michael Cole mentions Natalya wanting another shot at the Man Becky Lynch after losing to her a month ago. Big Show mentions Natalya's tag team partner who has taken a few weeks off to heal her injuries and says that could be added motivation for Natayla.

Match 4: Sasha Banks vs Natalya

Match Summary: Both women take their time feeling each other out in the early stages. Sasha Banks would try to work over the back of Natalya setting her up for the Bank Statement whilst Natalya looks to work over the back and legs of Banks as she looks to go for the Sharpshooter. This leads to a mostly technical affair as both women look to grind each other down throughout the match with various submissions.

As it goes on Sasha noticeably takes a little bit longer to break her submission holds then Natalya does, really looking to rack up the damage and gain any little edge she can over the Queen of Harts. In the end, the little edges are telling as the damage done to Natalya's back means she is unable to full lock in the Sharpshooter. Sasha Banks takes advantage hitting the Backstabber on Natalya! Banks quickly follows it up by locking in the Bank Statement and Natalya has no choice but to tap out!

Winner via submission: Sasha Banks (11:01)

Sasha Banks lets go of the hold as soon as the bell rings, with the referee raising her hand into the air. The Boss soaks in the cheers from the crowd as Michael Cole hypes this up as maybe being BOSS TIME! Big Show mentions it will now be Sasha Banks vs Kairi Sane in the semi-finals of the tournament as the camera shows Kairi Sane watching the match backstage as she a big smile on her face, relishing the challenge. Sasha Banks meanwhile in the ring lifts her Women's tag team title in her left hand and the Money in the Bank briefcase in her right hand.

As we return from the commercial break, we cut to the commentary team as Michael Cole informs us that right now we are going to see a pre-recorded interview that took place earlier today with Matt Riddle. We cut to a nice room as we can see Renee Young sat ready to start as Matt Riddle walks into the room in a yellow tracksuit, with his headphones around his neck and a big smile on his face.

Matt Riddle: Yo Renee.

Renee Young: Hello Matt, thanks for agreeing to this interview.

Matt Riddle: Aw Renee, you're doing me a favor bro. I love nothing more than speaking my mind.

Matt Riddle takes a seat across from Renee Young, putting his feet on the table as he gets super relaxed.

Renee Young: So a lot of people don't know this but you have only been wrestling for 5 years now is that correct?

Matt Riddle: That's correct. I mean I'm the only man to get fired from MMA with a 4 match win streak. But life gives you new doors and opportunities and it brought me here.

As Matt is talking we get clips of his matches in not just NXT but also a few of his matches in Progress Wrestling.

Matt Riddle: I love fighting. I love taking on the best.

Renee Young: And the best including Goldberg?

Matt looks annoyed at that line as he shakes his head clearly disagreeing.

Matt Riddle: When I talk about the best I think of Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Bret Hart, hell the man I plan on retiring Brock Lesnar!

Renee Young: You plan to retire Brock Lesnar?

Matt Riddle: Yeah bro. Listen I'm always honest. I say what I feel. I came here to be the best and if that means stepping on a few toes and pissing a few people off, hey bro that's what I'm going to do.

Renee Young: Do you think your mouth could get you into trouble?

Matt Riddle: Bro I'm just being honest. If that gets me into trouble...

Matt shrugs.

Renee Young: Before we get onto Goldberg again, don't you think angering Brock Lesnar is a bad idea?

Matt Riddle laughs.

Matt Riddle: Probably but angering him is the easiest way to get him to fight me.

Matt moves his feet off the table as he leans forward.

Matt Riddle: But the difference between Goldberg and Brock is I respect Brock. I have none for Goldberg.

Renee looks a little confused.

Renee Young: But you said you wanted to retire Brock Lesnar?

Matt Riddle: Yeah bro. Because I want to be the man to say he made the toughest fighter in WWE history retire. That is like my dream. Goldberg after I beat his ass, I don't care what he does.

We see clips of Brock Lesnar competing throughout the years even against Goldberg in recent years as Matt Riddle carries on.

Matt Riddle: He is a man who has done everything! He has done it in UFC and WWE. He has made it to the top in both and you don't do that without hard work. I mean look at the shape he is in. That takes a lot of work. However, there is one thing that bothers me.

Renee Young: What's that?

Matt Riddle: He has gotten complacent. The dude is capable of so much more but he feels like he unbeatable so doesn't try. So I want to be the one that conquers him and ends his career. Could you imagine what that would be like bro! I might even get Paul Heyman to announce I conquered the beast!

Renee can't help but smile and nods agreeing with Matt Riddle.

Renee Young: Why do you hate Goldberg?

Matt Riddle who is normally all smiles, is no longer smiling as he takes a moment before speaking, surprising Renee. Renee would then look to fill the silence with another question.

Renee Young: Have you always hated Goldberg or is this a recent th...

Matt Riddle: I've always hated Goldberg. Everyone used to tell me for years “Oh bro this guy is so good.” No, he is terrible and the most over-hyped wrestler in history.

Riddle is clearly getting heated.

Matt Riddle: He is a dangerous moron who doesn't know his own power. Like, Goldberg is so clumsy and reckless he ended the career of Bret Hart by accident. No malice, just him being a careless moron.Goldberg is a former football player who learned two moves and button mashed them until he had a 250 match win streak. If you survive those two moves, you beat him. He has no stamina bro. After a couple of minutes, he is totally gassed! Me? I can go all night long.

Matt Riddle winks at Renee who smirks as somewhere Moxley gets ready a barbed wire baseball bat.

Matt Riddle: Renee, did you know when Paige offered me the chance to come to Raw, I said no. I loved NXT. NXT is the future and I loved my time down there. I mean who doesn't love Florida. I didn't have to travel and I got to face some of the best wrestlers in the world each week.

Renee Young: What changed your mind?

Matt Riddle: I was promised Goldberg would be coming to Raw. Paige knew that even the smallest chance to end the myth would bring the ultimate bro to Raw. I mean he knew where I was and has been ducking me for years. So I came to him.

Renee Young: Well that answers all my questions. Once again Matt, thanks for your time.

Matt Riddle: Renee, any time.

Matt Riddle smiles as he shakes her hand and walks out of the room as we cut to a commercial break.

Ad break

We return from the commercial break as we can see Akira Tozawa looking at the camera with a serious look on his face.

Akira Towaza: Why am I going to win at Summerslam? Because AHA.

Akira gets to his feet as he hypes himself up.

Akira Towaza: I am going to kick Dar in the head and knock him out! AHA. I will put down Oney Lorcan!! AHA. And I will suplex Nese! AHA. See you soon Rey! AHA

We cut to the ring as Michael Cole mentions the interview we saw before the commercial with Matt Riddle having a lot to say. Big Show talks about most people when they come into the business, look to keep their mouths shut not wanting to rub anyone the wrong way but Riddle doesn't pull any punches. Michael Cole tells us we will hear what Goldberg has to say in response next week as he will be interviewed by Renee Young.

*GOLDEN GODDESS*

Mandy Rose makes her way to the ring getting boos from the live crowd. Big Show on commentary talks about the fact everyone is talking about Sasha Banks and Bayley facing each other in the finals but what about Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose facing each other in the semi-finals if Mandy wins tonight. She mocks the crowd before showing off why she is god's greatest creation.

*TURN IT UP*

Bayley makes her way to the ring holding one-half of the Women's tag team titles in the air but she is not all smiles. She points to Mandy in the ring who rolls her eyes and tells Bayley they didn't attack her. Bayley slides into the ring and gets in Mandy's face as Mandy pushes her hand in Bayley's face and calls her a stupid girl which prompts Bayley to smash her in the face with a punch! Mandy drops to the mat clutching her face as Bayley passes her tag team title to the referee. He passes it to the timekeeper before calling for the bell getting this underway!

Match 5: Bayley vs Mandy Rose

Match summary: Bayley jumps on Mandy Rose and lays into her with numerous lefts and rights. Mandy tries to fight back but Bayley is too strong and picks up the win with a Bayley to Belly without struggling too much.

Winner via pinfall: Bayley (2:40)

Bayley gets to her feet still not happy as the crowd cheers her on. Mandy Rose meanwhile rolls to the outside holding her face as Michael Cole puts over how impressive the fight Bayley showed tonight was and wonders what she will do to Sonya Deville next week after their attack at Money in the Bank. Big Show tells us Fire and Desire can keep denying the attack all they want because Bayley clearly thinks they were behind it and is looking for revenge! We then cut to the backstage area as Charly Caruso is stood ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, Bobby Roode.

Bobby Roode walks into the show getting boos from the live crowd, as the glorious one looks to be in a bad mood.

Charly Caruso: Bobby in tonight's main event you take on the number one contender for the Universal title Aleister Black. How are you feeling ahead of that match?

Bobby looks at her with disgust.

Bobby Roode: How do I feel? I feel disgusted. It should be in that spot. I'm the only one who is glorious enough to take this brand to new heights. But this company is used to wasting potential.

Bobby strokes his chin before letting out a smile.

Bobby Roode: However, I have an opportunity. You see if I beat Aleister Black tonight, Paige will have no choice but to give me the one on one title shot I deserve!

Bobby Roode walks off smirking, clearly having a plan in mind for the main event tonight.

When we return from the commercial break, we are inside a gym as the camera shows Kurt Angle and Chad Gable make their way inside. Chad Gable is all smiles as he can be heard talking to Angle as they make their way over to the weights and equipment.

Kurt Angle: Now if I'm going to be your coach, we are going to be doing some intense training.

Chad Gable: Like you did before the Olympics?

Gable is like a puppy so happy to be training under his idol and hero.

Kurt Angle: Yes and no. Over the years, do you know how I kept performing at an elite level even outside WWE? By updating my methods. And whilst my body ain't what it used to be, I make sure I live up to the 3 I's which are...

Chad Gable: Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence!

Kurt can't help but blush a little bit.

Chad Gable: I made sure I learned them when growing up. I even made a note of them...

???: Fella you need to calm down a little.

The camera pans over as we can see the Celtic Warrior himself Sheamus with a big smile on his face. He is a bit red as he has been clearly working out.

Chad Gable: Sheamus?

Sheamus: That's right Chad, put it there.

Both men shake hands as Angle steps forward to explain.

Kurt Angle: Y'see I ain't in the shape I once was. My mind is still the same but the body, it just ain't willing anymore. So to make sure you are in the best possible shape to beat Joe, I went to look for the best trainer around and my son stumbled upon this man's youtube channel.

Chad Gable: Jason watches Celtic Warrior workouts?

Kurt Angle: Yes he does. He keeps sharing the videos with me on what's it called? Myspace that's it! Anyway, Sheamus knows more training techniques then I do and there is no athlete better equipped for getting you into the shape you need to be in to beat Samoa Joe.

Sheamus: I know more training techniques then you can shake a stick at and it will help me get back into ring shape myself.

Chad Gable: OK Sheamus where do we start?

The camera cuts away as the two men start talking to each other and we cut to the Lucha Dragons who are stood in front of a ring with both men facing the camera.

Kalisto: Over the last few weeks me and my buddy Sin Cara we have been on a run.

Sin Cara: Win after win after win.

Kalisto: By just doing Lucha things.

Sin Cara: But we have our eyes on gold.

Kalisto: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. We are coming for the Raw tag team titles.

Sin Cara: We have never quite been able to get our hands on those titles.

Kalisto: But now we want to make up for lost time.

Sin Cara: The dragons rise

Kalisto: And we are the future of Lucha!

Both men let out a smile as they look fired up, sending a clear message to the current Raw tag team champions.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see Heath Slater stood in the ring ready for a match as the commentary team inform us Mustafa Ali vs Bobby Lashley has been made official for next week's Monday Night Raw!

*DESTROYER*

The United States champion Samoa Joe marches to the ring with an angry snarl on his face. Heath Slater in the ring looks worried in the ring and knows what is about to happen, almost wishing his friend Rhyno was here to help him. The referee rings the bell and this is underway!

Match 6: Samoa Joe vs Heath Slater

Match Summary: Heath gets wrecked as Joe takes him down in quick fashion and locks in the Coquina clutch forcing Slater to tap out in under a minute.

Winner via submission: Samoa Joe (0:58)

Joe tosses the limp body of Heath Slater to the side as he tells the referee to get him his title. As he does that we see Heath Slater try to roll out of the ring but Joe won't allow that! He drags him back towards the center of the ring and lays into the one-man-band! He gets a few more shots in before lifting him into the air and planting him with the musclebuster!

Joe gets to his feet happy with his handiwork which gets a mixed reaction from the live crowd as he snatches the United States title from the referee and shouts to the crowd no one is going to stop him, no one! We then cut to the backstage area as we can see Renee Young ready for a backstage interview.

Renee Young: Would you please welcome my guests at this time, Zelina Vega, Cesaro and Andrade Cien Almas.

All 3 walk into the shot with Andrade and Cesaro in a pair of nice crisp suits whilst Zelina Vega has a wicked smile on her face and the Money in the Bank briefcase in her hands.

Renee Young: Last week saw Cesaro pick up his second win in a row under your leadership Zelina. What is next for the Swiss Superman?

Zelina Vega: Me and Cesaro will be looking to get him in a position to fight for the gold. I mean maybe we find him a partner and go after the Raw tag team titles. Or maybe he goes after the United States champion Samoa Joe. But for Cesaro, no matter what success is in his future.

Renee Young: What did you make of Dolph Ziggler leaving Raw and joining NXT after losing to both of your clients?

Andrade in background smirks.

Andrade Cien Almas: Corrió como un cobarde.

Zelina Vega: Exactly Andrade. He ran away because he couldn't handle his failures. He knew he made the biggest mistake of his career turning us down. But he isn't the only person in our sights. You see Andrade has his eyes on the top prize.

As Zelina Vega says that we see Seth Rollins walk into the shot behind her, holding his Universal title.

Seth Rollins: Is that so?

Andrade turns around and gets in Seth's face though Seth refuses to back down. Cesaro just stands behind Andrade looking serious.

Seth Rollins: Any time you want to step up and fight me I will be ready. I mean I pulled off the heist of the century. So don't try to sneak up on me because I will be ready for it.

Seth Rollins walks off leaving Andrade and Zelina Vega fuming as they start to talk to each other as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside who gives us a quick rundown of the matches announced for next week's show before telling us the main event of the evening is up next and to not go anywhere.

*BURN IT DOWN/ SECOND COMING*

Seth Rollins's music hits as the Universal champion makes his way to the commentary desk joining Micheal Cole and Big Show. Both men welcome him as Seth Rollins tells us he is here to see what Aleister Black can do first hand.

*GLORIOUS DOMINATION*

Bobby Roode makes his way out shaking his head, still annoyed it is not him fighting Seth Rollins for the Universal title next week. The crowd boos him as Michael Cole asks Seth his thoughts on Bobby Roode. Seth Rollins tells us Roode may be great in the ring but his ego gets in the way and he has already beaten him.

*ROOT OF ALL EVIL*

Aleister Black makes his usual gothic entrance getting loud cheers from the crowd as Roode rolls his eyes in the ring unimpressed. Big Show asks Seth if he has a plan for Aleister Black who is a unique superstar. Seth says he is working on a plan but something he has to worry about is the Black Mass. Seth puts it over as something no one has kicked out of and therefore he has to find a way to make sure he never gets to hit with it. Aleister Black once in the ring stares down Bobby Roode as the referee calls for the bell and this match is underway.

Main event: Aleister Black vs Bobby Roode

Match summary: Black in the opening moments of this match peppers Roode with several kicks really taking control and forces him to the outside. Roode ends up holding his neck on the outside as Black goes for a suicide dive before stopping in the center of the ring as he pauses to meditate! This infuriates Roode who rushes back into the ring and goes on the attack but once again Black counters him and brings him down to the mat with a legsweep!

Roode noticeably lands awkwardly and clutches his neck. Black takes control of the match as he works over Roode but Roode gets back into it with an eye poke. Roode is in control now but even whilst in control, he is grabbing his neck which is in a lot of pain. Roode realizing how much pain he is in looks to finish this quickly but Black transitions a DDT attempt into a Fujiwara Armbar!

Bobby Roode struggles in the hold but gets his hand onto the bottom rope forcing the break. Black though is quick to follow up with several stomps to the chest before flying off the ropes with a springboard moonsault. 1 2 Roode barely kicks out! Black though looks at Seth Rollins and climbs to the top rope as he takes a few moments to dive off and hit a double foot stomp. Black hooks the leg 1 2 3 Black picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Aleister Black (6:00)

As soon as the referee's hand hits the mat for 3, Bobby Roode rolls to the outside as the medics come over to check on him with the referee throwing up the X symbol. Meanwhile, Michael Cole on commentary asks Seth if he has, even more, to worry about after that match. Seth quips that Black ain't a one-trick pony it seems and he has a lot to plan for. Seth takes his headset off as he walks towards the top of the entrance ramp. Aleister Black meanwhile is as calm as ever is sat in the middle of the ring meditating as the show comes to a close with the two men staring each other down ahead of their Universal title match next week.

Good shit, but IDK if this Seth/Black feud is REALLY better than Black sitting in a room for months yelling for someone to knock on his door.

WWE News:

Bobby Roode out for 8 months:

On Monday Night Raw, the main event had a weird finish with Black not using the Black Mass like usual. This happened due to Bobby Roode partway through the match picking up a serious neck injury. After the show had gone off the air, Roode had to be helped to the back and the diagnosis is not good. Bobby Roode has been ruled out of action for 8 months. The injury seemed to occur after Bobby Roode landed awkwardly after a legsweep. There were plans in place for Bobby Roode to be a key part of the mid-card over the coming months which will have to now be rewritten.

Booker note: EWR injury on the show to Bobby Roode basically forced the ending on Raw. Shame as I had plans for Roode in the mid-card as a heel but they will have to be adjusted.

Jeff Hardy vs Bray Wyatt made for Smackdown:

Confirmed for Smackdown:

Main event grudge match (New Day are banned from ringside):

Smackdown Live
July 2nd:
San Antonio, Texas

Smackdown Live starts with the usual introduction before we cut to the commentary team. Cory Graves and Byron Saxton hype up the upcoming show as they tell us the 3 matches that were announced before the show: A steel cage match between Alexa Bliss and Ruby Riott, Jeff Hardy vs Bray Wyatt with the winner picking the stipulation for the Smackdown tag team titles match and in the main event Xavier Woods takes on Randy Orton.

Big E: Ooooooooooooh, San Antonio Texas! Don't you dare be sour. Clap for your world famous WWE Champion and feel the power!

*NEW DAY NEW WAY*

A loud pop from the live crowd as the New Day makes their way to the ring, as Big E and Xavier Woods slap hands with the fans whilst Kofi shows off his WWE title. There are none of the usual pancake throwing antics and games with the crowd as The New Day are clearly in a serious mood tonight.

Corey says at The Great American Bash Kofi faces his greatest test in the form of the man who kept him down years ago, Randy Orton. Byron on commentary responds telling Corey that Kofi was able to overcome being held down at Wrestlemania and he thinks Kofi can do it again this Sunday. The New Day are now in the ring, with each of them holding a microphone.

Kofi Kingston: Before I start, I just want to thank you fans again.

Cheap pop but Kofi smiles.

Kofi Kingston: No I really mean it. Without your support, I wouldn't have got the opportunity to fight for the WWE title at Wrestlemania. I wouldn't have got to live my dreams and without your support as well as my brothers’ support, I might already be retired.

The crowd starts up a New Day rocks chant bringing a smile to all 3 men's faces.

Kofi Kingston: You two really do.

Both men smile as Big E does a fake crying bit behind him.

Kofi Kingston: And that is why I must beat Randy Orton this Sunday!

Boos for the mention of the Viper Randy Orton.

Kofi Kingston: He has tried to get to me by hurting my friends. He punted one of my best friends in the skull and I know why Randy did it? Because he is scared.

Ohhhs from the crowd.

Kofi Kingston: Me and Randy have history. And I know what kind of person he is. He thrives on bullying people, making them fear him. Getting in their heads and then he strikes.

Kofi sighs before lifting his WWE title in the air.

Kofi Kingston: Bryan is only part of the reason it took so long for me to get a one on one WWE title shot.

Xavier Woods: Randy Orton used to use his power backstage to Kofi down and do you want to know why?

Big E: Because Kofi refuses to be scared by a bully.

Kofi Kingston: And that's what makes you scared Randy. I have the power of positivity behind me. I refuse to let a bully like you keep me down!

Cheers from the crowd getting behind the fired up Kofi Kingston.

Kofi Kingston: With my boys and these fans behind me you can't stop me. I need to beat you. You have messed with my friends, heck I know you're going to try messing with Xavier tonight but we always have each others back.

Xavier Woods: Just because I said they wouldn't be at ringside doesn't mean my friends have to stay in the locker room.

Big E reaches into his trunks and pulls out a PANCAKE!

Kofi Kingston: Dude. Time and a place.

Big E: Sorry forgot I had that in there.

Big E instead of throwing it away eats the pancake as Woods and Kofi can't help but laugh at his antics. Big E once he finishes eating the pancake reaches back inside his trunks and pulls out two tickets! The camera then zooms in on two empty seats in the front row with a reserved sign on them.

Kofi Kingston: We may not be at ringside but we will be right there, ready if you try anything, Randy.

Cheers from the crowd as Kofi Kingston looks to carry on, however...

*SHER (LION)*

The crowd starts to boo as the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal makes his way out with a microphone in his hand and looks to be in a bad mood (as always). The New Day in the ring look confused and wonder why Jinder is out here. Jinder, as he is walking to the ring, starts pointing at the crowd.

Jinder Mahal: You people disgust me!

Boos from the crowd as Jinder Mahal shakes his head.

Jinder Mahal: I never got this treatment. I had to scratch and claw my way to the WWE title. I had to go away, get in the best shape of my life and come back before getting an opportunity at the WWE title. But did I get any love? Where was Jindermania!

Big E: Maybe it is because nobody likes you?

Cheers from the crowd as Jinder looks even more annoyed.

Kofi Kingston: You cheated your way to the WWE title. I mean look where you are without the Singh Brothers.

Jinder is furious.

Jinder Mahal: I am the modern-day Maharaja! I don't need those two to get to the top. I beat Randy Orton to take that title! How about I show you and these fans what a real champion looks like right now!

Big E steps forwards getting in Jinder Mahal's face but Kofi puts his hand out, stepping in front of his friend.

Kofi Kingston: Well I could do with a warm-up ahead of this Sunday so let's get a referee out here.

Cheers from the crowd happy to see the WWE Champion in action. Xavier Woods and Big E slide out of the ring as Corey Graves on commentary tells us Shane McMahon has made this match official and it will take place after the commercial break, so don't go anywhere!

Match 1: Kofi Kingston w/The New Day vs Jinder Mahal

Match Summary: We return from the commercial break with this match underway. Big E and Xavier Woods are cheering on their friend at ringside but it is Jinder in control as he has the WWE champion in a rest hold, looking to slow down the pace. However, the tricks that worked for Jinder back in 2017, no longer work as well in 2019 and Kofi keeps the match at a pace he enjoys. Byron on commentary notes that this is a good sign for the Great American Bash as Randy Orton also likes to keep the pace of a match slow and if Kofi counters that this Sunday he is likely to retain. Corey replies to Bryon, telling him that Randy Orton is on another level to Jinder Mahal. We get to closing stages of the match as Jinder Mahal is in control and looks to set Kofi up for the Khallas but Kofi counters with the SOS! 1 2 Jinder kicks out. Jinder gets up looking to go on the attack but Kofi hits him with Trouble in Paradise! 1 2 3 Kofi Kingston picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Kofi Kingston (7:37)

Kofi Kingston gets to his feet as Big E and Xavier Woods join him in the ring to celebrate his victory. As The New Day are celebrating in the ring, we cut to the backstage area as Randy Orton can be seen watching the match on a TV monitor. He lets out an evil smirk before walking off as he gets ready for his main event match with Xavier Woods tonight.

The camera then cuts to the car park as we can see Roman Reigns entering the building as you know all the best good guys turn up to the show late. As he is walking through the hallway, we see him get angry. The camera pans over and we see why as Shane McMahon appears with a smile on his face.

Roman Reigns: You have five seconds to leave before I punch you in the jaw.

Shane McMahon: Now Roman that is no way to speak to your boss.

Roman Reigns: Five, four...

Shane McMahon: Calm down Reigns I come in peace. As you can see none of the Corporation are with me.

Reigns looks around and see no one waiting in the shadows. However, he doesn't let his guard down.

Shane McMahon: I came to offer you some advice.

Reigns is looking at his fist clearly not listening to Shane McMahon and wondering whether he should just punch Shane in the face.

Shane McMahon: You do what these fans want and you play their hero. But why? Why do you do what these fans want? The only reason any of them cheer you, is due to what happened to you. That is the only reason for the love since coming back. I mean look how they treated you in the past.

Reigns glares at Shane McMahon who holds his hands up.

Shane McMahon: Listen I am just speaking as someone who came back and was their savior until one day they turned on me. Said I was abusing my power. Taking time from the real superstars. These fans always change their minds. They're fickle.

Shane shakes his head.

Shane McMahon: Roman, if you joined us things would be so much better for you. You wouldn't be losing all the time. Look at last week. You would be the top star on this brand.

Reigns pauses for a moment looking like he is considering the offer until he grabs Shane McMahon by the collar and pins him against the wall.

Roman Reigns: I will never join the Corporation.

Roman drops Shane McMahon as Shane looks a little annoyed before he readjusts his shirt. Reigns however just carries on walking down the hallway.

*I CAME TO PLAY*

The Miz makes his usual entrance getting a pop from the live crowd as he makes his way to the ring. The Miz seems focused as Corey Graves puts over the rivalry between him and Daniel Bryan over the years with the next chapter in the wars between the two men coming at the Great American Bash. The Miz is now in the ring sat in one of his chairs as he looks to the fans and gets ready to speak.

The Miz: Welcome to the most must-see talk show in WWE history, MIZ TV!

Cheap pop but it gets the fans hyped up as The Miz looks to begin.

The Miz: But let me start this off by sending a message to a man who I'm very familiar with. Daniel Bryan.

Boos from the crowd due to the mention of Daniel Bryan's name.

The Miz: Or should I say the New Daniel Bryan? Last week, I beat your friend and now I get my hands on you. But we have been here before. Year after year we fight each other. Hell to quote a line from an ally of mine in recent times, we are destined to do this forever!

This gets a few fans to pop, getting the Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn reference.

The Miz: You think I'm soft? Maybe I used to be. Maybe I was soft once upon a time but now? I will show you why I earned these fans respect! I may never earn your respect Bryan but I don't want it! I just want to kick your ass!

Cheers from the crowd as The Miz is fired up.

The Miz: But that's not why I'm out here tonight! No, I am here to interview my guest Roman Reigns so let's get the Big Dawg out here!

Cheers from the live crowd and they don't have to wait long:

*THE TRUTH REIGNS*

Roman Reigns walks to the ring getting a pop from the live crowd as he looks very serious. He joins The Miz in the ring and takes a seat across from him.

The Miz: Thanks for agreeing to this interview Reigns.

Roman Reigns responds to this by nodding his head.

The Miz: So last week you took on the Corporation teaming with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn but once again you lost to the Corporation.

Roman Reigns: I remember.

The Miz: Do you have a plan for us to stop Shane McMahon?

Roman Reigns: My plan for taking down the Corporation is this.

He grabs hold of his fist doing a shotgun motion as the crowd cheer on Roman Reigns.

The Miz: Well we have been using that but it isn't working.

Mixed reaction from the crowd but The Miz holds his hands up.

The Miz: Hear me out. Whatever we are doing isn't working as time and again the Corporation use the numbers game to beat us. We need to find a way to break the cycle.

Roman takes a moment to think however before he can respond:

*HERE COMES THE MONEY*

Shane McMahon makes his way out to the ring as he is flanked by not only the Corporation but he is also joined by his friend Daniel Bryan and his follower Erick Rowan. The Miz and Roman Reigns get to their feet ready for a fight as Shane McMahon smiles.

Shane McMahon: Roman, Miz you really need to learn to pick your battles. No one can stop the power of the McMahons.

Boos from the crowd as Shane smiles and laughs to himself.

Shane McMahon: I told you already Roman but my biggest mistake was trying to please these fans instead of doing what's best for business.

More boos for that famous line as Daniel Bryan steps forward looking to speak.

Daniel Bryan: And Miz you're nothing more then a B+ Plus player.

Massive heat for that line but The Miz just rolls his eyes in the ring.

Daniel Bryan: Well done cheating to beat Rowan last week but now, I get to destroy you and do something I enjoy more then anything on the planet. Punching you in the face!

The Miz: Why wait till Sunday? Let's do this right now!

The Miz slams the microphone down to the mat as he picks up one of the chairs on the set holding it ready for a fight. Drew McIntyre meanwhile snatches the microphone from Daniel Bryan who looks confused.

Drew McIntyre: You want a fight? You're on!

Drew tosses the microphone away confusing the rest of the Corporation but they do follow Drew to the ring due to the numbers advantage. They surround the ring ready to attack The Miz and Roman Reigns, however... KEVIN OWENS AND SAMI ZAYN SPRINT DOWN THE RAMP! They get to the ring attacking Shane McMahon and Elias from behind catching the pair by surprise! It ends up turning into a mass brawl which has been the ongoing pattern between these two groups over the last couple of months. Zayn, Owens, The Miz, and Reigns are in control of the brawl at the start but eventually, the numbers game is telling with Drew McIntyre's power being the difference as he knocks Reigns out cold with his lethal claymore kick! In the end, all of the faces are laid out in the ring as The Corporation, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan stand tall in the ring as Corey tells us he expects to see the same scene this Sunday!

*FEMME FATALE*

We return from the commercial break as The Iiconics start to make their way to the ring getting boos from the live crowd though some fans are just happy the pair from Down Under are without microphones tonight. Corey Graves on commentary mentions this match has been made after the war between the Iiconics and the Twisted Sisters carried on Twitter over the weekend.

*GLASGOW CROSS*

Nikki Cross makes her way out to the ring as she is joined by her fellow Twisted Sister Isla Dawn. The pair make their way to the ring as Byron mentions this being an important match for both teams within the Women's tag division with competition on all 4 brands growing as numerous teams will want to be next in line for a shot at Women's tag team titles. Nikki Cross slides into the ring ready for a fight as Peyton Royce on the outside mouths off to Isla Dawn who remains calm.

Match 2: Billie Kay w/Peyton Royce vs Nikki Cross w/Isla Dawn

Match summary: Nikki Cross's wild offense leads to Billie Kay spending a lot of the match on the outside trying to regroup. This winds the Twisted Sisters up but this works to Billie's advantage allowing her to cheap shot Nikki after chasing her around the ring and gives Billie her only section where she is in control. However, Nikki survives Billie's control phase and in the end, hits Billie Kay with the Purge for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Nikki Cross (4:33)

Nikki Cross gets to her feet as Isla Dawn celebrates in the ring with her friend. Byron says the Twisted Sisters now hold two victories in singles competition over The Iiconics. Corey, however, responds by saying they have yet to beat The Iiconics in tag team action and the real test comes then as the pair are tag team specialists! As Peyton Royce trash talks the pair in the ring we cut to the backstage area as Becky2belts is making her way to the ring looking smug when she is stopped in her tracks as she sees the Women's tag team champions the Boss 'n' Hug Connection! There is tension in the air as Becky stares the tag team champions down before smirking.

Becky Lynch: I know those belts allow you to go anywhere but you don't have a match tonight? So that's not what you’re here for.

Becky looks at the Money in the Bank briefcase before lifting her two Women's titles in the air. Sasha Banks lets out a little laugh.

Sasha Banks: Oh don't worry Becky, you'll know when the Boss goes to the bank and cashes in.

Bayley: We came here to speak to Shane McMahon actually.

Becky Lynch: Did you now? Well, Sasha if you want to let me know when you're going to cash that baby in and get dropped like the dope you are, be my guest!

Sasha Banks: Cute. No, I will cash this in on the Boss's time, not yours. See Becky not everything is about you. Bayley had this great idea didn't you Bayley.

Bayley nods and lets out a massive smile appreciating the compliment though noticeably Becky rolls her eyes.

Bayley: Thanks, Sasha. We are going to put these titles on the line in an open challenge, the night after we qualify for the finals of the Raw tournament Women's title.

Becky Lynch smirks as Bayley looks confused.

Sasha Banks: What's so funny?

Becky Lynch: Oh Sasha, unlike Bayley I see right through you. Maybe one day the kid will wake up to what her friend is truly like.

Sasha looks angry as Bayley looks confused by what Becky is saying.

Becky Lynch: Now if you excuse me, the man has business to take care of.

Becky Lynch walks off as Bayley turns to Banks.

Bayley: What's her problem?

Sasha Banks: Don't worry about it. Like I said, I will deal with her on the Boss's time.

Sasha Banks shakes her head looking angry as Smackdown goes to a commercial break.

*CELTIC INVASION*

Becky Lynch makes her way out to the ring getting a loud pop from the live crowd who as usual start up a “Becky2belts” chants as she marches to the ring. Corey Graves mentions what happened before the commercial break and says Becky is smart not to trust the Boss calling Sasha Banks a snake. Back in the ring, Becky Lynch is now ready to speak with a microphone in her hand and her two title belts on her shoulders.

Becky Lynch: It seems everyone has their eyes on the champ. And I love it.

Becky smirks as she is really feeling herself tonight.

Becky Lynch: I mean let's run down the list. I mean on Raw we have Kairi Sane, Sonya Deville, Sasha Banks, and Bayley all fighting in a tournament for the right to fight me at Summerslam! And oh Sasha, trust me I am ready for the knife in my back, unlike Bayley!

Ooohs from the crowd as Becky looks to carry on.

Becky Lynch: I know the real reason you want to be here next week. But trust me when I say this, any time you want to cash in I'll be ready for a fight!

Cheers from the crowd as they are hyped about the possibility of the two horsewomen going head to head.

Becky Lynch: But it ain't just on Raw the competition is hotting up. Asuka and my old punching bag Charlotte are fighting to see who makes it to Summerslam! However, the Man has one dope she has to take care of first. Lacey Evans.

Boos for the mention of the first lady of Smackdown Live.

Becky Lynch: Last week you had a lot to say. Well, The Man always comes around so Lacey how about you say those things to my face right now!

Becky looks pretty fired up as she waits for the First Lady of Smackdown Live to make her way out but there is no sign of Lacey Evans.

Becky Lynch: C'mon Lacey? Were you all talk? Didn't they teach you how to fight in the marines?

Becky is getting really fired up but once again there is no sign of Lacey Evans as Becky shakes her head and makes her way towards the ropes.

Becky Lynch: Fine, it is time for me to collect the debt one way or another!

Becky drops the microphone as the crowd cheer excited at the possibility of Becky looking for a fight. She marches up the ramp and makes her way to the back... but she suddenly falls down and crashes to the floor! The crowd are really confused until we see Lacey Evans step out from the back as she blows on her fist. She poses over Becky having knocked her out cold with the Women's right! Lacey in her left hand meanwhile has a microphone and looks to speak staring at the prone Becky Lynch.

Lacey Evans: Oh Becky, Becky, Becky. Never interrupt a lady when she is doing her work. I'm guessing your mama never raised you right.

Boos from the live crowd as Lacey lets out a cocky smile.

Lacey Evans: You have your eyes on everyone else but you should have your ideas on me! Being in the marines talk me to assess the threat but Becky you have so many darling, sooner or later it's going to catch up with you.

Lacey bends down and grabs Becky Lynch's Smackdown Women's title getting even more heat from the live crowd.

Lacey Evans: And after this Sunday, you won't have to worry about Charlotte or Asuka because this title will be mine. With a right, a women's right!

Lacey drops the microphone onto Becky who is still out cold as she stands tall holding the Smackdown Women's title as Corey wonders if this will be the scene we see this Sunday?

When we return from the commercial break we see the steel cage that has been hanging in the air all night starts to lower down to the floor as Byron recaps the issues between Alexa Bliss, Ember Moon, and the Riott Squad over the last 2 months. Corey says it comes to a head tonight as Ruby fights Bliss inside a steel cage and wonders if the Goddess of Smackdown Live is making a massive mistake.

*WE RIOT*

Ruby Riott leads the way looking all business tonight as she is flanked by her teammates the Riott Squad. Both of them look in an excited mood even though in theory they shouldn't be able to make it into the cage. Byron wonders what their plan is but Corey tells him to shut up and says the pair are clearly out here for moral support.

*SPITEFUL*

Alexa Bliss makes her way out getting cheers from the live crowd as she is joined by Ember Moon on the way to the ring. Corey mentions Bliss is smart enough to make sure she has her friend over the last few months by her side to keep an eye on the Riott Squad. Alexa Bliss steps inside the cage as she and Ruby Riott stare each other down as the referee calls for the bell to get this underway.

Match 3: Steel cage match: Alexa Bliss w/Ember Moon vs Ruby Riott w/The Riott Squad

Match Summary: Once the match gets underway both women spend the first few moments brawling with each other. Both Ruby and Bliss make good use of the cage sending the other into it and pressing them into the cage. Bliss, however, being the smaller competitor struggles as Ruby Riott uses her superior size to control the match and starts working over poor Alexa Bliss! On the outside, the Riott Squad whilst Ruby stays in control chooses not to get involved in the match and stick to watching from the outside. However, Alexa Bliss fights back and sends Ruby crashing into the cage. She slams Ruby's head into the cage wall numerous times before getting her into the center of the ring. At this point with it looking like Bliss is about to win, Liv Morgan attacks the referee on the outside of the cage and grabs the keys!

Ember Moon goes to stop her but Sarah Logan gets in the way attacking Ember Moon. Liv Morgan meanwhile opens the door and enters the steel cage! On the outside, as this happening Ember takes control of the brawl and slams Sarah Logan into the cage before jumping off the barricade and connecting with a modified Eclipse! Ember then has an idea as she looks at the cage. Back in the ring, Bliss is about to hit her DDT but Liv Morgan catches her with a kick to head. Liv Morgan helps Ruby Riott to her feet as both women start to attack Alexa Bliss, beating her down two on one! They get her in position for a double suplex but Bliss fights Liv Morgan off sending her backwards before Irish whipping Ruby into the cage! Liv though catches Bliss with a kick as she trash talks Bliss but suddenly EMBER MOON DIVES OFF THE CAGE AND HITS LIV MORGAN WITH AN ECLIPSE!

The crowd let out a massive “HOLY SHIT” chant as Ember Moon and Liv Morgan lay on the mat after that massive spot. Both Bliss and Ruby make their way to their feet selling the damage they have done during this match as they go for each other but as Ruby goes for the Riott Kick, Bliss dodges and catches her with a boot to the gut before planting her with a DDT! She then quickly makes her way to the top rope and hits Twisted Bliss! Bliss makes the cover 1 Sarah Logan enters the cage 2 Ember Moon stops her too!3 ALEXA BLISS PICKS UP THE WIN!

Winner via pinfall: Alexa Bliss (11:30)

Alexa Bliss slowly gets to her feet as she gives her friend Ember Moon a hug as both women are happy to have finally gotten the upper hand over the Riott Squad. Both women make their way out of the cage as Corey and Byron on commentary praise Alexa Bliss's performance as well as giving Ember Moon credit for her insane Eclipse off the top rope and stopping the Riott Squad from getting involved in this match. Meanwhile inside the cage, Ruby is coming to as Logan and Morgan help her up but it is clear the leader of the Riott Squad is not happy with them after losing tonight.

When we return from the commercial break we focus on the commentary team as Byron Saxton and Corey Graves welcome us back to the show though Corey tells Byron for this next part of the show he needs to head to the ring. He takes a moment to take his headset off before grabbing a microphone and sliding in between the ropes.

Corey Graves: Now some of you may be wondering why I have stepped into this ring. Well due to chaos of the last few weeks between Finn Balor, Buddy Murphy, Luke Harper and Ricochet, all four men have been banned from contact with each other on tonight's show.

Boos from the crowd wanting to see them in action.

Corey Graves: However we will be hearing from all 4 men today as I look to ask them a few questions ahead of the Great American Bash this Sunday.

The camera then pans to the titantron as it shows the screen split into 4 squares with Finn Balor in the top left in a black leather jacket with his Intercontinental title around his waist. In the top right corner, we see Luke Harper wearing his usual ring gear with a blank expressionless stare. In the bottom left we can see Ricochet with a smile and is wearing a nice suit. Lastly in the bottom right we see Buddy Murphy in a hoodie and jeans as he seems to be chewing gum as he stares at the camera.

Corey Graves: My first question goes to the current Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor...

Buddy Murphy: Hey Corey, if anyone should get the first question it is me. People have been sleeping on my abilities for far too long.

Ricochet: Maybe if you shut your mouth, people would want to listen to you.

Buddy Murphy: Did I ask for your two cents Trev?

Ricochet: Nah but I'm going to give it homeboy.

Finn Balor: Do you two mind? Corey was trying to ask me for a question.

Corey Graves: Thank you, Finn. How do you feel about defending your Intercontinental title in a match where you don't even have to be pinned to lose your title?

Finn Balor: I should be angry but I don't mind the challenge. When I won this title from Bobby Lashley I made it clear I welcomed all comers and look how many came. I tried defending this belt in a one on one match but others could not help getting involved.

Buddy Murphy: I wouldn't have had to if I got what I deserved.

Luke Harper noticeably stays silent throughout this but looks angry.

Corey Graves: Buddy onto you, who in my opinion is the best-kept secret in WWE. Why do you think people have overlooked you over the years?

Buddy Murphy: Listen I'm going to be honest here. A lot of people forget I was an NXT tag team champion. They remember what Ricochet, Finn and Harper did in NXT but not me. Heck, all they remember from my time as a champion down there is my ex.

Buddy Murphy sighs shaking his head before carrying on.

Buddy Murphy: And look at my run in the Cruiserweight division. I was relegated to a show no one watched! I held that belt for 6 months, winning it in my home country but I was constantly pushed to the background!

Buddy Murphy looks angry as he carries on.

Buddy Murphy: That is why I call myself the best-kept secret in the WWE because it is about time I get the respect and deserve. And when I take that Intercontinental title of yours Finn, my greatness will no longer be denied.

Corey Graves: My next question goes to Ricochet. You came up from NXT in January with Aleister Black. How have you found your time on Smackdown?

Ricochet: Listen I love NXT. It is the brand where the future of this company competes but I came here to fight the best today and Finn Balor, well he became the first Universal champion for a reason. Luke Harper, he is a monster and has held that belt before. And...

Buddy Murphy: And once again I'm forgotten about.

Ricochet: I was just getting to you homeboy!

Buddy Murphy: Sure sure. Just remember what happened last time we met in the ring.

Ricochet: And watch what happens this Sunday.

Finn Balor: Do you two want to get a room? Let me make one thing clear to you both. If you two want to focus on each other, that is fine because I have my eyes on all three of you!

Luke Harper: Your eyes should only be on me.

All 3 men stop arguing and listen to what Luke Harper is saying, with all 3 men wanting a piece of him after his attacks on them over the last few weeks.

Luke Harper: I have laid waste to all three of you before and this Sunday I lay waste to you all again!

Luke Harper at this point pulls his microphone out as Corey Graves in the ring looks confused.

Corey Graves: Luke I haven't asked you any questions yet.

Luke Harper, however, doesn't care and starts to walk off.

Finn Balor: Harper, Harper I ain't done with you yet.

Harper is long gone at this point as the champion sighs.

Finn Balor: Well, someone else can pass on this message to him. It doesn't matter your size or how big you are, I will defend this Intercontinental title and Luke Harper you will pay for what you have done to me!

Buddy Murphy: You should be thanking him because without him that title would be me!

Corey Graves: OK guys I am going to have to bring this interview to a close. Any final words?

Ricochet: This Sunday I will do things no other man can do and this Sunday I will become Intercontinental champion.

Finn smiles.

Finn Balor: Ricochet I respect you but I can assure you, this title stays with me and my demons.

Buddy Murphy: Listen you two focus on each other all you want but this Sunday, I will make sure people can't forget how good I am!

The interview is now at an end as Smackdown Live goes to a commercial break.

*LIVE IN FEAR*

Bray Wyatt makes his way out to the ring as he leads the War Raiders down the ramp however it is Bray competing tonight. Corey Graves on commentary puts over how important this match will be for Bray to win because a loss to Jeff Hardy, could mean the War Raiders competing in the same match type that they lost their NXT tag team titles in. Both the War Raiders stand in Bray's corner holding their Smackdown tag team titles looking angry.

*NO MORE WORDS*

The Hardy Boyz make their way out to the ring getting a pop from the live crowd with only Jeff dressed to compete. Matt can be heard saying a few words to his brother who sprints down the ramp and joins Bray Wyatt in the ring, showing no fear when it comes to being face to face with the Eater of Worlds. Matt Hardy meanwhile stays in Jeff's corner as the referee calls for the bell getting this match underway.

Match 4: Winner picks the tag team titles match stipulation: Jeff Hardy w/Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt w/The War Raiders

Match summary: Once the bell rings, Jeff starts the match off laying into Bray Wyatt and letting out a lot of pent up anger. However, Bray survives the storm and Jeff who tries to use his high flying offense to control the match struggles. However, partway through the match, Bray catches him with a pounce dropping Jeff. Jeff is struggling on the mat as Bray is picking him apart. Bray climbs on top of Jeff and starts hitting him with several punches until we hear Jeff scream. Bray lets out a smirk as he mocks the crowd whilst the referee noticeably checks on Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy on the outside looks worried. Bray looks to go back on the attack but the referee pushes him away. Bray still tries to go after Jeff who is not moving as the referee calls for the bell and holds up the X symbol!

Winner via stoppage: Bray Wyatt (7:24)

Matt Hardy and the medical team slide into the ring as soon as the match finishes. The medics check on Jeff as Bray Wyatt rolls out of the ring and is joined by the War Raiders as Bray laughs like a mad man. Byron is concerned for Jeff as he calls Bray a monster. Corey Graves says Bray may be a monster but he won the match tonight and now the War Raiders will pick the stipulation for this Sunday's tag team title match if Jeff even makes it to this Sunday. Back in the ring, we can see Matt talking to the medics clearly concerned about the well being of his younger brother.

When we return from the commercial break we cut to a video package that starts by showing us Asuka winning the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble. It shows her overcoming the field before she announced she would face Charlotte at Wrestlemania 34. We then get highlights of the match before Charlotte Flair picks up the win over Asuka.

Charlotte: I was ready for her then.

Asuka: I let myself down. I was soft.

We then cut to Asuka struggling for the rest of the year before getting the chance to fight for Smackdown Women's title at TLC in a TLC match against Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Once again highlights of the match are shown before we see the finish of the match with Ronda Rousey appearing and costing Becky and Charlotte the match. We cut to an image of Asuka stood on top of the ladder holding her Smackdown Women's title.

Charlotte: I would have won that night if it wasn't for Ronda sticking her nose in.

Asuka: I beat them. I beat them both.

We then cut to clips of them both going head to head once again on Smackdown Live with Charlotte Flair picking up the win one more time. It then shows Charlotte going onto the main event of Wrestlemania whilst Asuka ended up in the pre-show battle royal.

Charlotte: I will say this time and again. The queen is always ready.

Asuka: She stole my Wrestlemania moment twice. I need to beat her!

We then lastly cut to a clip of them battling Becky Lynch and losing to her in singles actions. For Charlotte, it is numerous clips throughout 2018 and 2019 whilst for Asuka, it is her loss to the Man at Money in the Bank.

Charlotte: I never got my rightful rematch for my Smackdown Women's title and the Queen wants her throne back.

Asuka: I need one more match with Becky. I shall be ready for the Man this time.

The clip comes to an end with a split-screen image merging half of Charlotte's face and half of Asuka's face. We then cut back to the commentary team at ringside who hype up the match between two of the top women on Smackdown Live with the winner fighting for the Women's title at Summerslam. The pair then run down the rest of the announced card for the Great American Bash. Once they finish doing that Corey says he also has breaking news regarding the Smackdown Tag Team titles match this Sunday.

Bray Wyatt and his War Raiders will be announcing their chosen stipulation for the tag team titles match this Sunday on the Great American Bash pre-show. Byron then tells us that Jeff Hardy picked up what seems to be a broken bone in his face around the eye area. He is going to have further to see if this is the case and whether he will be able to compete at the Great American Bash this Sunday. He then tells everyone to follow WWE on all social media platforms to hear the outcome of the medical evaluation.

Big E: Ooooooooooooh, San Antonio Texas! Don't you dare be sour. Clap for your world famous five-time tag team champions and feel the power!

*NEW DAY NEW WAY*

The crowd cheer as the ever-popular New Day make their way out. We can see Kofi Kingston and Big E offering some words of encouragement to Xavier Woods as he makes his way into the ring. Big E and Kofi then hop over the barricade taking a seat in the front row. However being the nice guys they are, they start taking pictures with some of the fans in the crowd and have fun with them.

*VOICES*

Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring, slowly as he has his eyes on Kofi Kingston and Big E the whole time. Both men stare each other down as Randy Orton lets out a sinister smirk as he looks at Xavier Woods in the ring. Corey wonders if Kofi will be able to stay out of the match. Woods meanwhile looks angry and stares at the man who punted him in the skull at Money in the Bank and wants revenge.

Main Event: Xavier Woods vs Randy Orton

Match summary: Xavier starts the match fired up as he jumps on Randy Orton and lays into the Viper with several hard lefts and rights looking to get revenge after what Randy did to him. However, the anger Woods has allows Randy to pounce and take control of the match. As Randy is in control he makes sure to focus on Kofi and Big E in the crowd, showing off the damage he is doing with a series of headlocks as he slowly dissects Woods.

Woods tries to fight back throughout the match but each time he fights back Randy Orton cuts him off. Throughout the match weirdly Orton doesn't go for a single cover instead looking to make Xavier Woods suffer. Randy Orton hits him with an RKO but noticeably he doesn't go for a cover. Instead, he looks at Kofi calling him stupid before making his way to the corner of the ring as he lines up Xavier Woods for the PUNT KICK! Kofi, however, knows what is coming and jumps over the barricade and slides into the ring attacking Randy Orton, causing the DQ!

Winner via DQ: Randy Orton (8:08)

Kofi looks to lay into Randy Orton but the Viper smartly sneaks out of the ring and flees through the crowd to boos! Kofi gives chase as Big E checks on Xavier Woods as Bryon tells us Kofi knew Orton would try to pull something like this and was ready for him. Orton is now in the stands as Kofi Kingston stands by the barricade, realizing he won't get his hands on Orton tonight. Corey Graves on commentary wonders if Randy Orton has gotten into Kofi's head by messing with his friends and if the attacks by the Viper will cause Kofi to lose this Sunday. Kofi goes back to the ring to check on Xavier as well, with Randy Orton standing at the top of the stairs staring down Kofi Kingston and tapping his head as the show fades to black with Corey Graves hyping up the WWE title match at the Great American Bash this Sunday!

However after the show on Twitter:

Jeff Hardy has picked up an eye injury
After a medical evaluation by the WWE medical team, it has been ruled that Jeff Hardy is out of action until further notice due to an eye injury sustained during his match with Bray Wyatt. What this means for the Smackdown tag team titles match is unknown but Jeff will definitely be unable to compete this Sunday with his brother Matt Hardy.

Noticeably as he talks Matt can be seen pulling at his hair and acting almost a little unhinged?

KOFI KINGSTON RETAINS!

Winner via pinfall and still WWE champion: Kofi Kingston (20:47)

Kofi doesn't move when the bell rings as he lays down on the mat next to Randy Orton, having pulled out of the win after a last-ditch counter. The crowd meanwhile go wild happy that Kofi was able to retain and overcome Randy Orton tonight! Kofi slowly gets to his feet as the referee passes him his WWE title. The Viper Randy Orton meanwhile slides out of the ring and walks to the back looking furious as he leaves as he holding his head. Orton disappears and Kofi stands in the ring celebrating for a while as he rolls out of the ring and celebrates with some of the fans at ringside as we see The New Day sprint down the ramp and they join their boy at ringside as all 3 men give each other a massive hug! Big E and Xavier Woods raise Kofi onto their shoulders as Byron puts over the friendship between these 3 men and how much Kofi winning will mean to them as well as him. The 3 men carrying on celebrating at ringside when...

*THE TRUTH REIGNS*

WWE News:
Shane Helms will be staying with WWE
Last night saw Shane Helms return to in-ring action making an appearance as the Hurricane. Shane Helms is currently working in a backstage role as a producer but he filled in as Matt Hardy's tag team partner at last minute due to Jeff Hardy's injury. Don't expect this to be a full-time return and this was a one-off appearance to give the fans a pop on the show due to Jeff's injury coming so close to the PPV. Matt Hardy's short-term future is unknown as once again Jeff Hardy is out for the next few months.

@Char Aznable will be shocked by this episode's ending :side:

Monday Night Raw:
July 8th:
Newark, New Jersey

Monday Night Raw starts with the usual video introduction before we cut to Michael Cole and Big Show on commentary who welcome us to a stacked Monday Night Raw. Big Show runs down the card for tonight making sure to remind the fans that the main event will be Aleister Black taking on Seth Rollins for the Universal title. Michael Cole tells us that right now however we will see the Cruiserweight division in action as we will learn who will be facing Rey Mysterio for the Cruiserweight title at Summerslam!

*WIN IT ALL*

Tony Nese makes his way out to the ring getting cheers from the crowd and a few woos from the ladies in the crowd as he shows off his great abs. He poses for the crowd as Michael Cole tells us he is one of two former Cruiserweight champions in this match and will be looking to get back to the top of the Cruiserweight division tonight.

*COMBATIVE*

Oney Lorcan makes his way out next getting boos from the live crowd as he marches to the ring at a high pace. Big Show puts over how angry Oney Lorcan has been ever since joining Monday Night Raw and his hard-hitting style might give him the edge tonight.

*STRAWBERRY MOON*

Akira Tozawa makes his way out next to a small pop from the crowd as he starts shouting “AHA AHA” as he walks to the ring trying to get the crowd excited. Michael Cole mentions his ally in recent times Brian Kendrick is on the shelf leaving Akira all alone but he reminds us that Akira is a former Cruiserweight champion in his own right!

*WEEKEND ROCKSTAR*

And the last man to make his way out is the Scottish Supernova Noam Dar. The cocky young superstar is chewing gum as he walks to the ring and is full of himself as always. Big Show on commentary talks about the damage someone like Dar can do to your legs and tells us his submissions might make him the perfect person to beat Rey Mysterio. Noam Dar steps in the ring and he makes sure to walk over to Akira Tozawa. He chews gum in his face as Akira is not bothered by this. Noam Dar reacts to this by spitting his gum in Akria's face! Akira finally cares and punches him in the face! Oney Lorcan takes that as his signal to get the match started attacking Nese and the referee realizing he won't be able to get this under control calls for the bell getting this match underway.

Match 1: Number one contender's fatal 4-way match: Tony Nese vs Oney Lorcan vs Akira Tozawa vs Noam Dar

Match summary: This match is a fast chaotic affair as all 4 men give it their all to make it to Summerslam. The early stages of the match resemble two separate singles matches with Oney Lorcan pairing off with recent rival Tony Nese whilst Akira Tozawa pairs off with Noam Dar. After the opening 5 minutes, we are left with Akira Tozawa and Tony Nese in control as they face off in the center of the ring. After a little exchange between the two, the match breaks down into the normal fatal 4-way chaos with each man looking close to winning at different points. However, in the closing stages, Tony Nese takes care of Noam Dar but Akira Tozawa catches him with a bridging German suplex which Oney breaks at 2. He tosses Nese from the ring and hits a half and half suplex on Akira. Oney makes the cover 1 2 3 Oney Lorcan is going to Summerslam!

Winner via pinfall: Oney Lorcan (11:13)

Oney Lorcan gets to his feet as Noam Dar was this close to breaking it up but he couldn't make it into the ring in time to make the save! Oney meanwhile pulls his hand away from the referee and gives him a death glare as he marches up the ramp happy to have gotten the job done. On the outside, we can see Tony Nese shaking his head looking disappointed to have come up short whilst Dar being the cocky prick he is can be heard muttering this was Akira's fault as the camera cuts back to the number one contender for the Cruiserweight title at Summerslam Oney Lorcan who looks angry and focused.

When we return from the commercial break as we see Renee Young walking backstage as she catches up to the new number one contender for the Cruiserweight title Oney Lorcan who still looks to be in a bad mood as she approaches him.

Renee Young: Oney can I ask you a few questions?

Oney just gives her an angry glare not saying a word. Renee is unsure how to react so carries on anyway.

Renee Young: Um a massive win for you tonight and a massive opportunity as you will be competing at the biggest party of the summer. What are your thoughts ahead of Summerslam?

Oney just stares angrily at her so Renee asks another question.

Renee Young: What do you think of your opponent at Summerslam Rey Mysterio?

Oney just glares at Renee before speaking.

Oney Lorcan: Rey Mysterio is a legend of this business. He paved the way for people like me.

Renee Young: Those are very kind words for your opponent...

Oney Lorcan: But it doesn't matter what he did in the past because I'm going to destroy him! I am going to end the legend of Rey Mysterio and be the ONE at the top of the division.

Oney Lorcan storms off still not in a good mood even after earning himself a shot at the cruiserweight title. We then cut elsewhere as we can see Curt Hawkins sat down on a bench drinking from a water bottle looking really nervous. He is shaking his head clearly worried ahead of his match with AJ Styles later on tonight. We then see JeyUso and Zack Ryder walk over to their friend and take a seat on opposite sides of him.

Zack Ryder: Listen bro, don't sweat it. You have got this.

Curt Hawkins: Dude I am about to take on a former United States champion, a former World champion. He is the Phenomenal one and I am just a loser.

Jey Uso: Uce you need to stop talking about yourself like that. You are a former tag team champion and tonight you can beat AJ Styles!

Curt Hawkins: How am I going to beat AJ Styles? I'm not on his level.

Zack Ryder: Dude you have no chance of doing it when you talk like that. Look at me.

Curt Hawkins turns to Zack and stares directly into his eyes.

Zack Ryder: If you keeping thinking like that you have no chance. You need to start believing in yourself.

Curt just sits there for a moment as he slowly nods taking Zack's words on board.

Curt Hawkins: OK I will start trying to believe in myself.

Jey Uso: You have to really mean it Uce. You can't doubt yourself this much. Trust us.

Curt Hawkins: Guys I know you are trying to help me but I need some time on my own OK?

Zack Ryder: Alright bro but we will be there at ringside with you deal?

Zack Ryder sticks his fist out for a fist bump which Curt Hawkins accepts letting out a small smile. Zack Ryder and Jey Uso walk off as Curt Hawkins's smile fades and he is back to being upset once again.

*DOMINANCE*

We return from the commercial break with Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush making their way to the ring. Lio Rush makes sure to hype the monstrous Bobby Lashley up to anyone who will listen in the crowd. Michael Cole says Bobby Lashley is looking to get back on track after losing out on the Universal title at Stomping Grounds. Lashley climbs into the ring looking as stoic as ever whilst Rush keeps up his antics on the outside of the ring.

*GO HARD*

Mustafa Ali makes his way out getting a good pop from the live crowd as he does his normal pose when suddenly he gets attacked from behind by AJ STYLES! AJ Styles hits Mustafa Ali with a bunch of clubbing blows but the heart of Monday Night Raw starts fighting back! However, as soon as it looks like Ali might be able to fight back, The Club storm out and both men attack Mustafa Ali putting a beatdown on Ali!

In the ring Lio Rush being the cocky little shit he is can't help but laugh at Mustafa Ali for getting destroyed by The Club whilst Bobby Lashley just watches on stoic as ever. Both members of The Club lift Mustafa Ali up into the air and plant him with the Magic Killer! We now see a swarm of referees coming out as they tell The Club they need to head to the back. AJ Styles just lets out a cocky smirk as do his boys Gallows and Anderson.

Lio in the ring tells his main man he might just have the night off which Lashley doesn't seem bothered by as he stands there waiting. In the meantime, the referees are speaking to Mustafa Ali as a bunch of medics come over to check on him. The medics want to take him to the back but Ali pushes them away and refuses treatment. He struggles to his feet and walks to the ring. Paige comes out at this point sans her usual entrance as she looks to speak to Mustafa Ali.

Paige tells Ali she will find a new opponent for Lashley tonight. Mustafa Ali shakes his head saying he still wants to fight. Paige tries to argue but Ali gets up to his feet saying he will fight either Lashley or The Club. Paige shakes her head before she tells the medics to be ready after the match and allows Mustafa Ali to head to the ring. Ali nods and runs down the ramp. Ali then springboards off the ropes and catches Lashley off-guard with a dropkick! The referee calls for the bell as this match gets underway!

Match 2: Mustafa Ali vs Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush

Match summary: Lio Rush slides out of the ring though he shouts at the referee for allowing Lashley to get cheap shotted before the bell. Ali goes at a faster pace than usual, trying to end this match quickly as he overwhelms Lashley with a flurry of high-flying offense. He even gets Lashley in position for the 054 but as Ali flies off Rush shouts for Lashley to move causing Ali to crash and burn! From there Lashley takes full control of the match and batters Mustafa Ali. This goes on for about a minute before Lashley ends it with a running powerslam for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Bobby Lashley (3:48)

Bobby Lashley stands tall in the ring as he looking every bit the monster of a man he is as Mustafa Ali is down and out on the mat after not just a beating from the Club but also fighting Bobby Lashley. Michael Cole puts over the heart of Mustafa Ali but Big Show wonders if him fighting Lashley was a good idea after what the Club did. Now on the entrance ramp, Lio Rush starts talking trash to the fans as he hypes his boy up once again. Mustafa Ali in the ring struggles to his feet, selling the damage done to him during this match as he gets a good reaction from the live crowd. As he heads up the ramp it is clear to see he ain't happy. We then cut backstage as we see Charly Caruso stood ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, the United States champion Samoa Joe.

Samoa Joe walks into the interview area looking very smug as he has the US title on his shoulder, now champion for 125 days.

Charly Caruso: A lot of people are wondering what is next for you on Monday Night Raw after beating Chad Gable.

Samoa Joe: The champion is always ready. But everyone else is running scared! They see me holding this belt and they know the future that awaits them. Look what happened to Rhyno after he faced me! There is no one stronger than me on this brand! No one who is a bigger monster than me. And no one can stop me!

Samoa Joe walks off having sent a message to the entire Raw roster as we cut back to the commentary team who also wonder if anyone will be able to stop Samoa Joe's United States title reign?

When we return from the commercial break, we can see the Bollywood Boyz sat on what looks like a cheap movie set as they turn around to face the camera with big goofy smiles on their face and take off their sunglasses.

Sunil Singh: Hello guys.

Samir Singh: As you can see we on set for yet another feature production.

Sunil Singh: As top Bollywood stars we are very busy.

Samir Singh: Week in week out we are on set performing in the next top Bollywood movies.

Sunil Singh: But we took time out of our busy schedule

Samir Singh: And it is a busy schedule.

Sunil Singh: Out of the kindness of our hearts we came to Rey's Cruiserweight title ceremony to bring some much-needed prestige.

Samir Sunil: And how does his son treat us?

Sunil Singh: With total disrespect.

Samir Singh: So next week we want a tag team match with Rey Mysterio and his son.

Sunil Singh: And being the stars we are, we will get what we want.

Samir Singh: Now if you excuse us, we have to be a film to finish.

Both the Singh brothers get off their chairs and head onto the set as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside with Michael Cole and Big Show mocking the pair. Both men wonder what it would be like to see Rey's son in action though Big Show mentions that Dominick is still in training and is still learning how to be wrestler which Rey Mysterio has made clear time and time again. Big Show adds he thinks the Singh Brothers know this as well and want a handicap match with Rey Mysterio!

*TOP ONE PERCENT*

EC3 makes his way to the ring next getting boos from the fans as he looks as cocky as ever. Drake Maverick joins him as he has his arm outstretched in front of him, with a phone out as the pair mock Tyler Breeze's signature entrance! Michael Cole on commentary reminds us of what happened last week, with Drake Maverick being the difference in EC3's match with Tyler Breeze. EC3 gets into the ring as Drake carries on mocking Tyler Breeze pulling faces and taking “selfies”.

EC3: Last week, I showed you what true money looks like. See Tyler Breeze thinks he is the model of what a superstar should be but...

EC3 strikes a few poses as Drake Maverick carries on taking pictures of himself and EC3 annoying the crowd.

EC3: Just look at me. I have the best body money can by

Michael Cole (on commentary): Does he realize what he just said?

EC3: See you may have your looks but I have you beat there. And I also have more money then you will have in your life and more talent then you could ever dream of having.

Boos from the crowd, for the arrogance being shown as Drake, nods along and takes one more selfie.

EC3: But last week proved one thing. I came to this brand with a purpose and that is to pick up victory after victory after victory after...

*#MMMGORGEOUS*

Tyler Breeze makes his way out to the top of the ramp without his usual selfie stick but instead has a microphone. He is also dressed in a nice shirt and jeans or whatever the height of fashion is at the moment as he looks to address Drake Maverick and EC3 in the ring.

Tyler Breeze: You two do know that jealousy is an ugly trait. But I suppose it would fit you two uggos perfectly!

Cheers from the crowd as Drake Maverick and EC3 look furious in the ring, taking offense to being called ugly.

Tyler Breeze: EC3 you can talk about victories but the only reason you beat me last week is your little troll doll next to you!

Drake Maverick: What did you call me?

EC3 grabs hold of Drake calming him down as he looks to speak.

EC3: Whether Drake got involved or not, I would have beaten you because I'm the better man in every single way.

Boos from the crowd as EC3 once again starts posing in the ring.

Tyler Breeze: If you say so. But EC3 I want a rematch.

EC3: Why should I give you a rematch? I have already done enough for charity this month.

Tyler Breeze: Cute. But I don't just want to fight you. No, I want to take both you and Drake Maverick on at the same time.

Both EC3 and Drake Maverick let out a chuckle as they look at each other.

EC3: So you couldn't beat me and now you want to try beating both of us?

Tyler Breeze: You heard the prince. Me versus you two next week in a handicap match and both you will learn the power of true beauty.

EC3: You're on but after next week, you will be a stepping stone for me as I carry on getting victory after victory after victory!

EC3 tosses the microphone down as he and Drake Maverick pose in the ring whilst Tyler Breeze smirks, acting surprisingly confident ahead of a potential handicap match next week on Monday Night Raw. We then see the Boss and one-half of the WWE Women's tag team champions Sasha Banks making her way to the ring! Michael Cole tells us it's BOSS TIME after the commercial break.

Ad break

*SKY'S THE LIMIT*

Sasha Banks makes her way out with the Women's tag team title in one hand and the Money in the Bank briefcase in the other. She has a cocky swagger in her step as in the corner of the screen we see a pre-recorded promo coming from the Boss.

Sasha Banks: Tonight the Boss gets one step closer to Summerslam. Kairi may have become friends with Bayley whilst I was gone but I am Bayley's best friend and I don't mind stepping over Kairi to get what I want. And very soon you'll be calling me Banks3belts!

We cut back to Sasha in the ring as the commentary team reminds us that if she wins the Raw Women's championship she could then cash in for the Smackdown Women's championship straight after!

*THE NEXT VOYAGE*

Kairi Sane makes her way out next also getting a good reaction from the fans as she looks at Sasha Banks through her telescope as she has her eyes on the prize, a chance to fight Becky Lynch at Summerslam. She starts walking to the ring as we also hear from Kairi Sane in a pre-recorded promo.

Kairi Sane: Tonight I get to fight someone I respect in Sasha Banks. And when I win, I am going to go to Summerslam and taking the gold! I have my eyes on the treasure.

The short promo ends as we see Kairi Sane step into the ring as she comes face to with Sasha Banks as the referee calls for the bell getting the match underway!

Match 3: Sasha Banks vs Kairi Sane

Match Summary: Kairi starts the match by offering Sasha Banks a handshake. Sasha takes a moment to accept it before cheap shotting Kairi Sane! Sasha Banks then jumps on Kairi as she lays into her with an aggressive assault catching the pirate princess off-guard. Sasha stays in control but Kairi fights back and really lays into Banks with some hard kicks, angry at the cheap shot at the start of the match from someone who she thought better of.

From there it turns into a back and forth match between the pair as both women show why they are two of the best wrestlers in the company. Sasha Banks is even taken aback by how good Kairi Sane is as the former NXT women's champion lays into her with several kicks and strikes really bringing it. Kairi manages to lock in the anchor on Sasha Banks but she makes it to the ropes in time to force a break. Kairi breaks it on the count of 2 as she backs away.

Sasha though is clutching her ankle as she calls the referee over. Kairi makes her way over to carry on the attack but the referee asks her to back off as he checks on the condition of Sasha Banks. Kairi herself looks a little concerned but Sasha suddenly pushes away the referee and hits a dropkick stunning Kairi! Sasha quickly follows it up as she hits Kairi Sane with BANKRUPT! Sasha Banks makes the cover 1 2 3 Sasha Banks advances to the final thanks to her cheap trick!

Winner via pinfall: Sasha Banks (13:04)

Sasha Banks gets to her feet as noticeably she gets a mixed reaction due to her faking an injury to defeat Kairi Sane tonight. Sasha doesn't care though as she celebrates her victory tonight and gloats to the crowd calling herself the boss. She demands the referee pass her not only the Women tag team title but the Money in the Bank briefcase as she gloats. Meanwhile, Kairi Sane who has now recovered looks pretty upset to have been deceived not once but twice by Sasha Banks. Sasha though shows no remorse as she walks up the ramp, as smug as ever.

When we return from the commercial break we see Aleister Black is sat down in a dark room on a chair as he looks at the camera. He is in a black shirt and jeans as he looks at the camera.

Aleister Black: Seth Rollins, I want you to know this. I do respect you.

Black pauses before carrying on.

Aleister Black: Just because I see the darkness in you doesn't me I don't respect your ability or the champion you have become. You see I'm a big believer in duality.

Black rises from his chair and starts to walk around the room.

Aleister Black: No man is truly good and no man is truly evil. We all have our demons...

Clips of Seth Rollins turning on the SHIELD, threatening to cripple Edge to bring back the authority and pulling off the heist of the century at Wrestlemania 31.

Aleister Black: But we all have our own heroic moments...

Clips of Seth Rollins saving Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns from attacks whilst trying to regain their trust, defeating HHH at Wrestlemania 33 and lastly defeating Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 35.

Aleister Black: However tonight that doesn't matter. I came to fight the best fighters in the world. And after I laid waste to the competition in NXT, I came to Raw.

Clips of his time in NXT as he defeated superstars such as Velveteen Dream, Johnny Gargano and even Mr. Money in the Bank Andrade Cien Almas!

Aleister Black: And tonight, I want you to give everything Seth. I am looking for a fight and tonight the devil on my back will be quenched as I become Universal champion as you will fade...

Clips of Aleister Black hitting superstar after superstar after superstar with the Black Mass.

Aleister Black: Fade to Black!

Aleister takes a seat back on his chair and goes back to meditating as we cut to Renee Young who walks up to The Club who are laughing and joking with each other backstage.

Renee Young: AJ, Luke, Karl. Why did you attack Mustafa Ali before his match earlier tonight?

AJ Styles: Why Renee? Because we can! That disrespectful punk thinks that a fluke pinfall over me means anything? He got lucky. Look at my boys next to me.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows lift their Raw tag team titles into the air.

AJ Styles: They are two-time tag team champions. And me? I am a former two-time WWE champion and a former United States champion. I mean I'm simply Phenomenal! Mustafa Ali is not on my level and needed to be put in his place! Now, are you done?

Renee Young: No I have one more question AJ. Shouldn't you be preparing for your match later on tonight against Curt Hawkins?

All 3 members of the Club stare at Renee Young blankly for a few seconds before they burst out laughing.

AJ Styles (still laughing): Oh Renee, you crack me up. Prepare for Curt Hawkins? Renee that match is going to be the easiest match of my life. I don't need to do any preparations to beat that loser. Come on boys lets go.

All 3 members of the Club walk off as Renee shakes her head as we see Karl Anderson come into the shot one more time.

Karl Anderson: AHAHAHAHA

Karl walks off as Renee shakes her head as the commentary team tell us after the commercial break we will see the second semi-final in the Raw Women's title tournament as Bayley takes on Sonya Deville!

Ad break

*SQUARE UP*

Boos from the crowd as the former MMA fighter Sonya Deville makes her way out to the ring and she looks ready for a fight. She looks focused as we see get a picture in picture promo from Sonya Deville as she is stood with her tag team partner Mandy Rose.

Sonya Deville: Tonight I get the chance to avenge the injustice me and Mandy have suffered over the last couple of months.

Mandy Rose: Week in week out, our names have been dragged through the mud!

Sonya Deville: But tonight, I might just do what I'm accused of doing and when I win the final, I am taking the Raw Women's title from Becky Lynch.

Mandy Rose: You may have beaten one former MMA star but this one has been wrestling far longer then Ronda ever did and has never been given the same opportunities as Ronda. When she gets her shot, she is taking the Raw Women's title.

Sonya Deville: And when we get our rightful rematch for the WWE Women's tag team titles, we will take those too!

We cut back to the ring as Sonya is jumping up and down on the spot, shadow boxing as she waits for Bayley.

*TURN IT UP*

Bayley makes her way out next holding her Women's tag team title in the air getting a decent pop from the live crowd. She has her eyes focused on the ring as Sonya stares at Bayley, daring her to come and fight. Bayley takes her time though keeping calm as we get a picture in picture promo from her as well.

Bayley: At Money in the Bank, Fire and Desire robbed me of the chance to become a money in the bank winner. You can deny it all you want but my best friend Sasha is right. Who else would have motive to attack me? And tonight I get the chance to get revenge on you, Sonya. I already beat Mandy and now I get to beat you as well.

The promo finishes as Bayley is now in the ring as she tells Sonya she is going to pay. Sonya, however, responds telling Bayley to shut up and square up, sick of the accusations over the last couple of months. The referee meanwhile calls for the bell getting this match underway.

Match 4: Bayley vs Sonya Deville

Match summary: Bayley and Sonya brawl in the early stages of the match, similar to the tag team titles match at Stomping Grounds 3 weeks ago. Once again this proves to be a bad plan on Bayley's part as Sonya takes control thanks to her superior striking game! Sonya starts working over one-half of the Women's tag team champions and grinds her down on the mat. Bayley is really struggling as Sonya puts her MMA experience to good use in this singles match and this time there is no Sasha for Bayley to tag in to save her! Bayley is really on the ropes as Sonya keeps working her over with several MMA strikes and also several submissions on the mat really grinding Bayley down.

Bayley though has too much heart to give in and each time Sonya gets a hold locked in she makes it to the ropes. Sonya is starting to get annoyed as she can't find a way to keep the former Raw Women's champion down for a 3 count or make her tap out. Sonya even has to be warned by the referee a few times for not breaking holds. In the end, Sonya looks to go for a kimura as she tries to break Bayley's arm! Bayley though out of desperation counters and rolls up Sonya! 1 2 3 Bayley picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Bayley (8:40)

Sonya kicks out at literally 3.01 but it is too late as Bayley rolls away quickly and gets her arm raised by the referee. Big Show and Michael Cole give Bayley credit for finding a way to survive. Sonya, however, isn't ready to give Bayley any credit and attacks Bayley from behind clubbing her! The crowd boos the hell out of Sonya for the cheap attack as the former MMA fighter is battering Bayley on the mat!

The crowd let out a “BOSS” chant as they wait for Sasha Banks to make the save but instead we see Mandy Rose run down the ramp as she looks to help Sonya beat down Bayley! Both women work over Bayley two on one. Bayley tries to fight back but she struggles due to the numbers game as the commentary team wonder where Sasha Banks is. The beating carries on for a little while until...

*SKY'S THE LIMIT*

Finally the BOSS Sasha Banks makes her way down to the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase in hand! She runs down the aisle as she slides inside the ring and takes Mandy Rose's head off with the briefcase! Sonya turns around as she goes for a kick but Sasha dodges Sonya's strikes before swinging for Sonya's head but Mandy Rose on the outside pulls Sonya out of the ring, saving her friend!

Mandy helps Sonya to her feet as both members of Fire and Desire wisely retreat up the ramp now both members of the Boss 'n' Hug connection are in the ring! Sasha takes a few moments to trash talk to the retreating pair before she turns back to her tag team partner Bayley as she looks to make sure she is OK. Bayley is a little sore after the two on one attack by Fire and Desire but is able to get to her feet.

Bayley makes sure to give her best friend a hug and thanks her for the save. Big Show on commentary meanwhile reminds us that next week these two women are going to go head to head for the chance to fight Becky Lynch at Summerslam for the Raw Women's title! Michael Cole mentions we have seen these two collide in the past and tells us it promises to be a classic that we don't want to miss next week.

When we return from the commercial break we see Charly Caruso stood ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guest at this time the Universal champion Seth Rollins.

The Universal champion walks into the shot with a big smile on his face as he has his Universal title belt on his shoulder, ready for his title defense in the main event later on tonight.

Charly Caruso: Seth in tonight's main event you are facing Aleister Black, someone who hasn't lost since in singles matches since coming to Monday Night Raw. How do you plan to beat him?

Seth Rollins: Well Charly, I always have a plan. I have been doing my research on him and he is one hell of a competitor. I have not just looked through his matches on Raw however but also his time in NXT. And I have a plan to beat him tonight.

Charly Caruso: How do you feel about facing such a tough challenger with Summerslam in 5 weeks and another title defense surely coming then?

Seth Rollins: I'm not thinking about Summerslam at the moment. I need to beat Black first. I will worry about Summerslam after tonight. But being a fighting champion means taking on all challengers and putting this title on the line whenever I'm challenged.

Charly Caruso: Are you saying you like being challenged?

Seth Rollins: I mean that is what Monday Night Rollins is all about. No matter who steps up, I plan on fighting them and beating them so these fans get a champion who is here week in week out!

Charly Caruso: Thanks for your time Seth.

Seth Rollins: Any time Charly.

Seth Rollins walks off as we cut to a gym backstage as Rey Mysterio is stood with his son Dominick. Both men are in hoodies and a little sweaty as they have clearly just finished a training session.

Rey Mysterio: Singh brothers. We heard your challenge earlier on tonight and as much as my son would love to accept, he isn't ready yet.

Dominick nods a little disappointed but he understands where his dad is coming from.

Rey Mysterio: He will be one day soon but I want my son to be 100% ready before he steps into the ring. But that doesn't mean I won't face the Singh Brothers.

Rey steps forward as he looks a little more serious.

Rey Mysterio: You two are cowards. You know my son is not a wrestler yet you challenge him to a match? Well I spoke to Paige and next week I will take you two on in a tag team match but it will be with this man.

As he says that we see the young Cruiserweight Humberto Carrillo walk into the shot as he shakes hands with Rey Mysterio and Dominick. He even does a little bow before Rey.

Humberto Carrilo: It will be my honor to team with an icon such as yourself.

Rey smiles as he turns back to the camera.

Rey Mysterio: Just like my son, Humberto is the future of Lucha libre. And next week we will teach you two a lesson.

We then cut back to the commentary team at ringside who talk about that match next week but Big Show wonders if Rey should have his eyes on Oney Lorcan now he knows that is who will be facing him for the Cruiserweight title at Summerslam. Michael Cole then tells us after the commercial break we will see a pre-recorded interview between Renee Young and Goldberg.

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break as we can see Renee Young sat down ready to interview the man, the myth, the legend Goldberg. Goldberg walks into the room and takes a seat.

Renee Young: Thanks for agreeing to this interview Goldberg.

Goldberg: Anytime Renee.

Renee Young: So my first question would have to be, what brought you back? What made you want to come back to the ring after retiring?

Goldberg takes a moment to think as we see clips of his last match in WWE against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34 where he lost his Universal title.

Goldberg: Well my plan was to challenge Seth Rollins. I never got my rematch for the Universal title after losing to Brock Lesnar. If Seth wants a true challenge I should be next!

Renee Young: But instead, you were challenged by someone else.

Goldberg: That stupid punk kid.

Goldberg grunts as he says that, looking furious to even have to think about Matt Riddle.

Renee Young: Now Riddle is someone who has been very outspoken when it comes to talking about you and your career. What are your thoughts on Matt Riddle?

Goldberg: Matt Riddle is everything that is wrong with the world today. What has he done to make him worthy of stepping into the ring to face me or Brock Lesnar? The only reason he has got this match is because I'm sick of him running his mouth.

Renee Young: Let’s discuss some of the things he has said about you in the past. He has called you a one-trick pony...

Goldberg: Do I need to do anything else other than getting the job done? Others focus on being too well rounded. You can keep all your tricks because I don't need them. I'm pure power. I'm a wrecking ball. You can prepare all you want and know exactly what is coming because I will still destroy you. Nothing you can do can stop my spear and jackhammer.

Renee Young: He also mentioned you ending Bret Hart's career...

Goldberg: Yeah I accidentally ended someone's career. This isn't ballet!! People get hurt when they step in the ring with me. You make the decision to fight me, you accept the consequences.

Renee Young: But couldn't it be argued that ending someone's career, especially a legend like is something that deserves criticism?

Goldberg: Are you speaking on behalf of those nerds online? I would like to see them step into the ring and do what I do.

Goldberg is getting very heated so Renee chooses to change the subject.

Renee Young: My next question would be how much do you about the career of Matt Riddle?

Goldberg scoffs at that question.

Goldberg: Why would I know about that kid? What should I have seen of him?

Renee Young: Well I mean, he has been putting in great performances on NXT over the...

Goldberg: Why would I give a **** about that?

Renee looks a little shocked by Goldberg's language (and luckily because it is pre-recorded we can cut it out
side.gif
)

Goldberg: Riddle to me is just going to be another victim on a long list. I don't care what he has done elsewhere because he hasn't done it at the top level like I have. Until he does, he is just a nobody.

Renee Young: I mean people would argue that NXT is the future of the WWE and has produced some of the top stars we see today in...

Goldberg: Are you not listening to me Renee?

Goldberg stands up and knocks his chair over as he does it.

Goldberg: Until he fights at the top level, he is just a kid who needs his jaw broken so he stops running his mouth. All that matters is he is next!

Goldberg rips off the microphone attached to his shirt and tosses it to the floor clearly angry with how the interview went as he storms off. We then cut back to Big Show and Michael Cole at ringside who are both shocked by how the interview went. Big Show says he has never seen Goldberg that angry whilst Michael Cole says contrary to what Goldberg says NXT is a great brand.

He then makes sure to plug the WWE network saying you can get it for 9.99 with the first month free! The camera then cuts to AJ Styles and The Club as the Phenomenal one can be seen walking down a corridor as he heads to the ring. Big Show tells us up next we will see AJ Styles in actions against the former two-time tag team champion Curt Hawkins and tells the viewers to not go anywhere!

AJ lets out a cocky laugh and mocks Curt Hawkins for falling for such an obvious trick, really heeling it up in this match.

AJ after this starts to dominate and control the match as expected but he is clearly not taking his opponent tonight seriously and could have already won this match within the first 3 minutes if he was taking Hawkins seriously. *GO HARD*

When we return from the commercial break we are inside another gym as we see a montage showing Gable doing several different workouts as Sheamus gives the former Olympian some instructions. It also cuts in clips of the youtube show Celtic Warrior workouts as Kurt Angle sits behind him watching like a proud dad. Sheamus also lets out a smile clearly happy with Gable's progress.

We then cut back to the commentary team at ringside who talk about what we have just seen. Michael Cole mentions he is a big fan of Celtic Warrior workouts and says Sheamus has gotten into the best shape of his life since starting the youtube channel. Big Show wonders what it can do for someone as talented as Chad Gable and if he can work his way back to face the United States Champion Samoa Joe.

*ROAR OF THE RISING STAR*

Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura make their way to the ring led by Rusev's wife Lana. She can be heard giving the pair instructions as they head to the ring but Shinsuke is clearly not paying the slightest bit of attention. Rusev looks fired up and determined to win this match whilst Shinsuke clearly does not give a damn.

*BRING THE SWAG*

The Street Profits make their way out to the ring for the first time and the crowd give the debuting pair a decent pop as they each have a red cup in one hand and a microphone in the other as they get ready to speak.

Montez Ford: Hey New Jersey, are you ready for us to bring back the swag?

Small cheers from the live crowd as Dawkins puts his hand to his ear.

Angelo Dawkins: I can't hear you people. Now, do you want the swag?

The crowd gets louder as Shinsuke looks on from the ring, unimpressed.

Montez Ford: But we ain't just here to bring the swag. No nono we are here because we want the smoke.

Angelo Dawkins: Tell em, my boy!

Montez Ford: So get your red cups up as tonight you will see the most electrifying debut in sports entertainment!

Angelo Dawkins: And you two better bring it!

Both men toss the microphones onto the entrance ramp as they climb into the ring fired up and ready for this match with Montez Ford stepping into the ring to start the match off whilst Rusev steps into the ring for his team with Shinsuke shrugging, looking like he doesn't even want to be out here right now.

When we return from the commercial break we see Renee Young stood backstage ready for an interview.

Renee Young: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, The Man Becky Lynch!

A loud pop from the live crowd as Becky Lynch walks into the shot once again holding both her title belts.

Renee Young: My first question, how are you feeling after defending your Smackdown Women's title last night against Lacey Evans?

Becky Lynch: I'm feeling great Renee! Lacey tried to step to the man's level but once again I put another blonde in their place.

Renee Young: And you already know one of your challengers for Summerslam, The Empress of tomorrow Asuka. What are your thoughts about going head to head with Asuka one more time?

Becky Lynch: Right now me and Asuka, we sit at one apiece. Now the man already corrected the black mark on her record but the fact remains Asuka is the only person to beat me since I became the Man around here.

Becky takes a moment to adjust the Smackdown Women's title belt on her shoulder.

Becky Lynch: So at Summerslam, I get to fight the toughest opponent I have ever faced one more time!

Renee Young: Over Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey?

Becky smiles.

Becky Lynch: Especially over those two dopes. Ronnie, I was in that little weirdo's head from day 1 and Charlotte...

Becky chuckles slightly.

Becky Lynch: I mean I spent the last year beating her week in week out for this title!

Becky Lynch lifts up the Smackdown Women's title.

Becky Lynch: But Asuka she has been the one person to stop me. However, at Summerslam, The Man gets the chance to prove I am the best wrestler in the world today!

Renee Young: My other question relates to your other title defense that night, who would you rather face at Summerslam. Bayley or Sasha Banks?

Becky smiles.

Becky Lynch: It doesn't matter. Whichever dope wins I will be ready. Though Sasha, unlike Bayley, I’ll be ready for the knife in my back!

Becky walks off on that note, proudly showing off both her title belts as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside who once again hype the main event for next week's Raw as we find out who faces Becky for the Raw Women's title at Summerslam! We then cut to the ring as the usual big announcements are done ahead of the main event for the evening as Aleister Black takes on Seth Rollins for the Universal title!

*ROOT OF ALL EVIL*

The arena goes pitch black as we get the full Aleister Black entrance, with the Dutch Destroyer looking as stoic as ever as he walks to the ring ready for the biggest match of his career as he takes on Seth Rollins. Once inside the ring, he walks to the ropes furthest from the ramp and takes a seat on the mat as he starts meditating, as he awaits his opponent!

*THE SECOND COMING/ BURN IT DOWN*

More cheers from the crowd as Seth Rollins makes his way down the ramp as he holds his Universal title in the air for all to see. In comparison to Aleister Black, he walks fairly fast down the entrance ramp and joins his opponent in the ring with Black still sat down staring at the champion. Seth passes his title to the referee as Black rises to his feet as both these men come face to face. The referee calls for the bell and this match is underway!

From there both men start trade strikes and battle with each other as they try to expose the flaws in the other's game. Both men are fairly evenly matched in the early stages as the match gets to about the 8-minute mark with both men down after they catch each other with a kick to the head when this plays...

BROCK LESNAR marches out from the back and sprints down the ramp, followed by an angry Paul Heyman! KIMURA! Brock twists and pulls on the arm of Black until we see the arm BEND! Brock lets go as Black can be heard shouting in pain through gritted teeth as he rolls out of the ring!

Big Show says in a hushed voice that he thinks Brock just broke Aleister Black's arm! We can see Black with a face full of rage holding his arm as a swarm of medics sprint to the outside of the ring to check on him. However, when they try to get into the ring to check on Seth Rollins, Brock scares them off saying he ain't done! He drags Seth Rollins up one more time, who is still bleeding on the mat and hits him with a
FOURTH F5!

Seth drops to the mat like a sack of spuds as Paul Heyman makes his way over to the timekeeper's area and takes the Universal title with him to the ring! Paul Heyman slides inside as he passes the Universal title to his client and bends down over the prone Seth Rollins, who is bleeding all over the mat as Brock holds the Universal title in the air!

Paul Heyman: Seth Rollins! You stole my client BRRRRRRROCK LESNARRRRRR'S property at Wrestlemania. At Summerslam Brock takes it back! And that ain't a prediction, that's a spoiler!

Paul Heyman then tosses the microphone onto the prone body of Seth Rollins, making his way out of the ring. Brock makes sure to drop the Universal title on Seth Rollins as he smirks happy with the chaos he has caused tonight. The medics now finally rush in as half of them check on Seth Rollins whilst the rest stay with Black as one can be overheard saying “I think it's broken”.
