Smackdown Live:
July 23rd
Miami, Florida

*I CAME TO PLAY*

Smackdown Live starts off with The Miz making his way to the ring getting a decent pop from the fans. The Miz is in a nice suit as he walks to the ring wearing his sunglasses as we can see the Miz TV set in the ring. Byron Saxton and Corey Graves on commentary welcomes us to the show and reminds us that we will be starting the show off with an edition of Miz TV as we will hear from the 3 men in the WWE title match at Summerslam! Now Miz is in the ring as he waits for the crowd to die down.

The Miz: Hello and welcome to the most must-see talk show in WWE history Miz TV!

Cheers from the crowd as The Miz takes a seat on one of the chairs.

The Miz: Now we are three weeks away from the biggest party of the summer and tonight I will sit down with the three men competing for the WWE Title in the main event! And trust me I know about main eventing.

Cheers from the crowd as The Miz references the time he main evented Wrestlemania against John Cena.

The Miz: But tonight is not about me. No tonight is about these three men in the Summerslam main event. Solet's bring them out here starting with the Sinister Scotsman and member of the Corporation Drew McIntyre!

*GALLANTRY*
Drew McIntyre makes his way out with a serious scowl on his face as he marches down to the ring. The commentary team reminds us of last week's main event where these two men faced off with each other. Drew once in the ring glares at The Miz who refuses to back down. Drew then takes a seat on one of the chairs.

The Miz: Up next it is a man who I have had many fights with over the last couple of years but someone who has earned my respect. He has main evented numerous Wrestlemanias and beat Drew at Wrestlemania 35.

Drew McIntyre: You better watch your mouth Miz if you want this show to carry on.

The Miz ignores Drew and carries on.

The Miz: Would you please welcome Roman Reigns!

*THE TRUTH REIGNS*

Roman Reigns marches to the ring getting a loud pop from the crowd. He has his eyes on Drew McIntyre as he walks to the ring, especially after their long-term rivalry. Once inside the ring Reigns immediately comes face to face with Drew as both men get ready for a fight! The Miz has to step in between the pair trying to stop them from fighting before all of his guests can even make it to the ring.

The Miz: Reigns, Drew can you please take a seat.

Both men stare at each other but Reigns breaks first and takes a seat. Drew eventually follows but still stares a hole through Roman Reigns, clearly not over what happened at the Great American Bash. The Miz, however, looks to get his show back on track.

The Miz: And last but not least, the current WWE Champion and member of the New Day Kofi Kingston!

*NEW DAY, NEW WAY*

Kofi Kingston makes his way out as he lifts his WWE title proudly into the air. Both Drew and Reigns in the ring look at the WWE title as they clearly have their eyes on the main prize. Kofi joins everyone in the ring as he takes a seat in between his two opponents at Summerslam. The Miz then takes a seat as he looks to start asking all 3 men questions.

The Miz: Now you're all out here my first question goes to the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Kofi how do you feel knowing that at Summerslam you will be defending your title against two of the top superstars on Smackdown Live and could lose your title without being pinned at Summerslam?

Kofi Kingston: I should be mad but it is what it is. When I won this title I promised to be a fighting champion and take on all comers. If that means taking on both Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns at the same time, I will just have to beat them both.

The Miz nods.

The Miz: And what do you think of the way Drew was inserted into the match?

Drew looks angry at that comment but lets it go.

Kofi Kingston: I'll be honest I ain't a fan. Yes, Roman did cheat to win but without Shane McMahon throwing those brass knuckles into the ring, we would have got a fair result and Drew only has Shane to blame for losing.

Both Reigns and Drew look annoyed with that answer but it is Drew who responds first.

Drew McIntyre: You think I had anything to do with Shane sticking his nose in? I don't need anyone to get involved in my matches. I can get the job done myself.

Roman Reigns: Could have fooled me.

Drew McIntyre: What did you say?

Roman Reigns: You heard me. For someone who talks about doing things by himself, you don't half spend a lot of time in groups.

Drew McIntyre remains pretty silent as Roman carries on.

Roman Reigns: Yeah I used those brass knuckles because if I didn't, you would have!

The Miz: OK my next question goes to Roman Reigns. How does it feel knowing you have the chance to get back to the top after you were forced to vacate your Universal title?

Roman Reigns: It feels great Miz. Unlike others on this brand, I haven't moaned and whined. No, I just worked hard until I got what I deserved and soon I will show everyone why this is my yard.

Cheers from the crowd as Roman has a smug look on his face. Kofi nods whilst Drew shakes his head.

The Miz: And Drew I have a question for you. Will the Corporation be at ringside or will you be out there by yourself at Summerslam?

Drew McIntyre looks like he is about to explode.

Drew McIntyre: Did I need them at ringside when I beat you last week?

Drew McIntyre gets out of his chair pushing it over as he has clearly lost him temper.

Drew McIntyre: So if you think I'm going to tell them to be at ringside after Shane cost me the match at The Great American Bash you're stupider then you look!

Drew gets in The Miz's face but instead of Roman Reigns, it is Kofi Kingston who rises to his feet and steps in between the two men.

Kofi Kingston: That's enough Drew.

Drew McIntyre: Or what?

Both Kofi and Drew stare each other down as this music hits...

*HERE COMES THE MONEY*

Drew McIntyre rolls his eyes as the Corporation walks onto the top of the entrance ramp as Shane McMahon has a microphone in his hand. He is flanked by Baron Corbin and Elias. Roman Reigns at this point gets to his feet as well ready for a fight. Shane is about to speak but it is Drew who steps forward going around Kofi and leaning on the ropes.

Drew McIntyre: Shane, I told you and the others to stay away!

Shane McMahon puts his hands up in a defensive manner.

Shane McMahon: Drew I was just coming out here to announce a match. Y'see The Miz clearly can't keep you three under control and it is inevitable a brawl is going to break out so I am doing...

The Miz puts his hand in the air and shouts at Shane McMahon.

The Miz: Hey, hey when my hand goes up your mouth goes shut!

Loud cheers from the crowd for The Miz interrupting Shane McMahon.

The Miz: How about you step in this ring right now and we have a Wrestlemania rematch right now!

Loud cheers from the crowd but Shane McMahon shakes his head.

Shane McMahon: Miz I have a show to run I don't have the time to beat you again.

Boos from the crowd as The Miz looks annoyed.

Shane McMahon: But I will give these fans a special treat as right now it will be The Corporation vs The Miz, Roman Reigns and Kofi Kingston.

Drew stares at the three men he is facing in a moment as Baron Corbin and Elias march to the ring joining Drew McIntyre who shakes his head. Meanwhile Byron Saxton tells us we will get that after the commercial break!

Match 1: Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns and The Miz vs The Corporation (Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Elias)

Match summary: The ends up being a fun six-man tag between these six men who have become very familiar with each other over the last few months. There is clear tension on both sides with Drew McIntyre preferring to handle his business on his own whilst Kofi and Reigns both do not seem keen teaming up ahead of their WWE title match at Summerslam.

As the match comes to a close, Kofi Kingston and Baron Corbin are the legal men. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns once again get into a brawl on the outside of the ring as they brawl to the back. Back in the ring, The Miz takes care of Elias and Kofi counters an End of Days attempt into an SOS for a close two count! However, as Corbin kicks out Kofi hits him with Trouble in Paradise! Kofi makes the covers and his team pick up the win tonight!

Winners via pinfall: Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns and The Miz (12:33)

Kofi Kingston gets to his feet as The Miz joins him back in the ring and the pair celebrate their victory tonight. Meanwhile, on the outside of the ring, the Corporation members Elias and Baron Corbin retreat up the ramp annoyed as having come up short in their battle with their rivals tonight. Kofi is getting loud cheers from the fans as Corey tells us we have a situation going on backstage!

We cut to the backstage area as Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre are still trying to batter the hell out of each other! As this brawl is still happening we suddenly see several security guards run onto the scene and grab both men trying to bring this fight to a halt. Drew and Roman however still try to fight even with the security guards there to stop them. Eventually, after a swarm of nearly 20 guards, both men are unable to move. Shane McMahon then walks onto the scene.

Shane McMahon: Right both of you need to stop this right now!

Both men are still staring at each other with neither man willing to break eye contact.

Shane McMahon: Roman I think it's time for you to leave.

Roman, however, ignores Shane and just stares at Drew McIntyre.

Shane McMahon: Now or I will remove you from the WWE title match at Summerslam!

Roman Reigns glares at Shane McMahon before shrugging a couple of the security guards off him and storms off. Shane McMahon then turns to Drew. The security guards let go of him as he tries to follow after Roman but Shane stops him.

Shane McMahon: No Drew that is enough! You need to save it for Summerslam.

Drew, however, grabs Shane’s hand and moves it away from his face.

Drew McIntyre: Point at me like that again and I don't care whether you're my boss or not, I will beat the living hell out of you.

Drew McIntyre towers over Shane McMahon who looks terrified.

Shane McMahon: OK, OK, OK Drew I was just trying to help you. I mean you need to save your energy for Summerslam and getting into a massive brawl with Roman might...

Drew McIntyre: Stay out of my way!

Drew glares at Shane McMahon before turning around and walking away. Shane stands there scared for a moment before breathing a sigh of relief.

When we return from the commercial break, we see Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon are backstage sat on a crate. Ember is sat playing on her switch whilst Alexa is drinking some coffee as Cathy Kelly approaches the pair for an interview.

Cathy Kelly: Alexa, Ember can I get a word with you after what happened on a moment of Bliss last week?

Alexa jumps off the crate and approaches Cathy.

Alexa Bliss: Of course Cathy. But there is not much to say really. Charlotte thinks the world revolves around her but it doesn't.

Ember pauses her game and puts her switch down on the crate as she also steps forward looking to speak to Cathy Kelly.

Ember Moon: Charlotte I have dealt with people like you before. You walk around here acting like you own the place just because of your last name. Slap me again and I will make sure to put you in your place!

Ember Moon grabs her switch as her and Alexa Bliss walk off elsewhere. We then cut to the backstage catering area as we can hear some classical music playing in the background. The camera pans over as we can see both members of the Gentlemen sat with what looks like a fancy steak as they get ready to eat. However, we suddenly hear the door slam open as Heavy Machinery walk in!

Otis Dozovic: TUCKY, TUCKY.

Tucker runs in after his friend as the Gentlemen both noticeably turn around seeing both members of Heavy Machinery and roll their eyes, unimpressed with the blue collar workers.

Tucker Knight: What's up Otis? What's got you so excited dude?

Otis Dozovic: They got steaks, Tucky! STEAKS!

Tucker Knight: Aw yeah!

Tucker and Otis high-five each other. In the background, we can see The Gentlemen getting annoyed now with loudness and antics of Heavy Machinery.

Tucker Knight: C'mon let's get some of those steaks!

Both men make their way over to the person in charge of catering who gives them each a steak. However, Otis does his best puppy dog eyes.

Otis Dozovic: Sir, can I have some more?

The guy looks a little confused as Tucker nods. He grabs another one as Otis gestures for another one and another one and another one! The Gentlemen who are watching this are disgusted by the amount of meat on both members of Heavy Machinery's plates. Both men then sit down just across from the Gentlemen and start tucking in using their hands disgusting the Gentlemen even more as they are using the finest cutlery. Jack Gallagher at this point has seen enough and clears his throat looking to get their attention. Both men look up at The Gentlemen.

Otis Dozovic (said with a mouth full of steak): Oh do you want that awful music off too! I'll get it.

Aiden English: No you blithering dolt!

Jack Gallagher: Why are you not using a knife and fork?

Both members of Heavy Machinery looks confused.

Tucker Knight (also with a mouth full of steak): Because... we don't need one.

Both members of the Gentlemen look so aghast by this lack of “class and grace” then immediately put down their knives and forks, making sure to dramatically toss down their napkins as they storm off. Heavy Machinery however just responds to this by shrugging as Otis realizes they left some steak and takes it, adding it to his plate as the pair carries on eating!

*WE RIOT*

As we return from the commercial break, we hear the music for the Riott Squad as the 3 woman unit walk to the ring. Liv Morgan is the only one who is dressed to compete but she looks very nervous as she walks to the ring, with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan putting pressure on her to win tonight.

*GLASGOW CROSS*

Nikki Cross makes her way out getting a pop from the live crowd as she is joined by Isla Dawn. Nikki looks fired up as she runs from side to side on the entrance ramp hyping up the crowd. Liv Morgan in the ring looks a little concerned by the crazy Nikki Cross who slides into the ring ready for the match. The commentary team makes sure to mention how a win could put their respective team in line for a shot at the Women's tag team titles depending on who wins on next week's Monday Night Raw!

Match 2: Liv Morgan w/Riott Squad vs Nikki Cross w/Isla Dawn

Match summary: Nikki Cross's wild offense overwhelms Liv Morgan in the early stages and forces Liv to take a powder early on just so she can regroup. Liv looks to Ruby Riott for advice but the leader of the Riott Squad instead berates her and tells her to get back in the ring! Liv Morgan is a bit tentative and once again Nikki Cross is in complete control due to her crazy rabid style.

Ruby and Sarah on the outside both are annoyed by this and look like they might interfere on Liv's behalf but Liv starts to mount a fightback by herself showing some grit. However, the fightback isn't enough and Nikki Cross ends up being too much for her. In the end Nikki Cross plants Liv Morgan with The Purge picking up another win on Smackdown Live!

Winner via pinfall: Nikki Cross (8:40)

Nikki Cross gets to her feet and looks super happy as Isla Dawn claps and climbs onto the ring apron applauding her tag team partner and friend. However, as she does this Sarah Logan runs around the ring and trips up Isla Dawn causing her to land with a hard thud getting loud boos from the crowd! Nikki Cross seeing this gets ready to attack but Ruby Riott kicks her in the back of the head!

Both Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan start laying waste to Nikki Cross and Isla Dawn as Liv Morgan looks for instructions. However Ruby at first just glares at her before gesturing for her to help. The three members of the Riott Squad even with the clear tension in the ranks are able to work together and lay out the Twisted Sisters on the mats as the trio stands tall. However, as they are standing tall Ruby makes sure to tell Liv off for losing the match as Logan agrees with Ruby.

*LIVE IN FEAR*

As we return from the commercial break Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring as the War Raiders march behind him holding their Smackdown tag team titles. Bray Wyatt has an evil smile on his face as the commentary team remind us The War Raiders versus Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn has been made official for Summerslam and they wonder if Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a chance against the monstrous duo! All 3 men step inside the ring as Bray Wyatt sits down in front of the imposing War Raiders facing the camera.

Bray Wyatt: At Summerslam my boys, my warriors go back to war once again. And Sami I don't think you know what you're in for.

Bray lets out a laugh.

Bray Wyatt: I mean when you go to war, you need a family you can trust. You need soldiers who fall in line. You need to know the person by your side will protect you.

Bray looks off into the distance.

Bray Wyatt: I used to have a family once upon a time. People I thought I could trust. But we had a snake in our midst and it tore us apart.

Bray, however, lets out a slight devilish smirk.

Bray Wyatt: And I see the same happening to you Sami.

Boos from the crowd as Bray carries on speaking.

Bray Wyatt: I mean you had a snake in your family before but you let him back in.

Bray rises to his feet as he once again starts to chuckle like a madman.

Bray Wyatt: Kevin Owens has betrayed you time and time again. Then again they do say life is a circle.

Bray lets out a creepy smile.

Bray Wyatt: Maybe this is why you have never tasted any of the holy grails. You're too naïve Sami. As soon as you outlive your usefulness, the snake shall strike again. And you will be all alone again Sami.

Boos from the crowd as Bray Wyatt is about to carry on his speech as these music hits:

*FIGHT*
*WORLDS APART*

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make their way out onto the entrance ramp as they each have a microphone in hand as they both look at the ring. However, surprisingly Sami Zayn smiles and lets out a slight chuckle.

Sami Zayn: I mean we expected this Kevin. We knew you would resort to mind games. I mean we took the best beating your boys could provide and we're still standing!

Kevin Owens: You see one thing we know how to do is fight. I mean look how many times we have fought each other. But whilst I was off injured, I changed for the better. And I have him to thank for that.

Kevin takes a moment to turn to the camera.

Kevin Owens: When I look my son in his eyes, I don't want him to see a monster. I want him to see a dad he can be proud of. I want him to see that a true man learns from his mistakes. Not just repeats them like you do Bray!

Bray who had been smiling up to this point now glares at Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens: Bray you're the epitome of all talk and no action! You talk a big game and try to get into people's heads. Your words get followers and you amass an army. You always find a way to get people to follow you with promises of glory. And then it always crumbles around you.

Bray is no longer smiling and now looks angry.

Kevin Owens: You don't have the power to back it up in the ring.

Bray Wyatt: I have more power then you will ever know Kevin!

Bray Wyatt is clearly getting wound up as Kevin Owens turns the mind games back on him. Sami in the background smirks.

Kevin Owens: Then lets put that to the test. Next week on Smackdown me and you go one on one! And then when I beat you, you can tell the boys stood behind you what they are in for at Summerslam!

Bray glares up the ramp and launches forward leaning over the ropes.

Bray Wyatt: You want to mock me and my words? Next week you will regret your slander and you will learn the true meaning of war!

Bray tosses the microphone down to the mat as he stands in the ring looking angry whilst at the top of the entrance ramp Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn smile happy to have gotten the match they wanted out of tonight and maybe have gotten into the head of Bray Wyatt instead of the other way round?

When we return from the commercial break, we see R-Truth is dancing in the ring getting a decent pop from the live crowd who enjoy the antics of R-Truth and Carmella. Corey on commentary mentions his displeasure for R-Truth and wonders why Carmella even hangs out with him.

*SWAMP GAS*

But the mood soon switches as Luke Harper walks out with his Intercontinental title around his waist as he has a glassed over look in his eyes. R-Truth in the ring wisely stops dancing and looks to get serious. Luke Harper passes his title to the referee as he glares at R-Truth who looks a little worried. However, before the bell rings...

*CATCH YOUR BREATH*

Finn Balor makes his way out as he walks towards the commentary desk wearing a leather jacket and jeans. Luke Harper noticeably takes his eyes off R-Truth in the ring and turns his attention to Finn Balor. Finn put on a headset as he gets ready to do some scouting ahead of the Intercontinental title match at Summerslam! The referee meanwhile calls for the bell getting this match underway.

Match 3: Luke Harper vs R-Truth w/Carmella

Match summary: Luke Harper having his eyes on Finn Balor allows R-Truth to catch him by surprise as he goes for a schoolboy! 1 2 Harper kicks out and looks furious. R-Truth tries to get away from the champion but Harper proceeds to beat the ever-living hell out of him. Finn Balor on commentary puts over the power and speed Luke Harper has but says he has beaten larger opponents before.

Another key thing to note is Finn Balor mentions what Bryan did last week and tells Bryan to stay out of his matches. He also tells the commentary team if he wins, he is happy to give Ricochet the first shot. R-Truth gets one or two hope spots but in the end, Harper puts him down with a running sit-out powerbomb! As he makes the cover however he makes sure to stare down Finn Balor.

Winner via pinfall: Luke Harper (3:44)

Luke Harper gets to his feet with a cold blank look in his eyes as he makes sure to stare down Finn Balor at the commentary desk. Finn Balor once again puts over how good the champion is but he will overcome the larger man and win the Intercontinental title for the third time. Meanwhile, Carmella slides into the ring to check on her best friend R-Truth.

Luke Harper turns around and stares at Carmella slightly scaring her. Finn Balor seeing this makes his way to the ring and steps in between Luke Harper and Carmella. Luke Harper however smiles and mutters he isn't a total monster as he leaves the ring and heads up the ramp backwards as he holds the Intercontinental title in the air as Finn Balor looks on from the ring.

*ONE AND ONLY*

As we return from the commercial break we hear the entrance music for the one and only Ricochet as the high-flier walks to the ring wearing a hoodie and jeans. The commentary team reminds us of what happened last week with Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan costing Ricochet the chance to get an Intercontinental title match at Summerslam. Once in the ring, he gets ready to speak as he pulls his hood down.

Ricochet: Before I get down to business, Finn I heard your words homeboy and I appreciate them man. So you better win at Summerslam!

Ricochet smiles as he says that and gets a decent pop from the crowd.

Ricochet: But I got my eyes on someone else first. Daniel Bryan.

Boos for the mention of the unpopular planet’s champion.

Ricochet: See the difference between me and you Bryan is I like to let my wrestling do the talking, so why don't you come out here right now!

Straight and to the point which gets cheers from the crowd. Ricochet stands there waiting for a while but eventually this music hits...

*FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES*

Daniel Bryan makes his way out, followed by his fellow eco-warrior Erick Rowan, Daniel Bryan has his hemp WWE title around his waist and a microphone in hand as he looks to address Ricochet in the ring.

Daniel Bryan: This is the exact problem Ricochet. Instead of me getting time to discuss the problems with the planet, everyone wants to hear what someone like you has to say.

Boos from the crowd as Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan start to make their way down the ramp but they stop at the bottom.

Daniel Bryan: I mean what is so impressive about you?

Ricochet takes that as a cue to jump clean over the ropes and land on his feet right in front of Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan posing in front of the pair getting a massive pop from the crowd! Daniel Bryan, however, tries to hide the fact he was shocked by Ricochet's athleticism. Ricochet speaks first as he still has a microphone in his hand.

Ricochet: I can do things no one else can do. But all I want to do right now is fight you in that ring right now!

A loud pop from the live crowd who are excited to see two of the best wrestlers on Smackdown Live go head to head. Daniel Bryan smirks and shakes his head!

Daniel Bryan: Listen I know you are a B-plus player but...

Loud boos for Daniel Bryan hypocrisy in using that line but the planet's champion just shakes his head and carries on.

Daniel Bryan: A champion like me fights on his terms, not yours.

Ricochet: But you're not a champion!

Daniel Bryan looks almost insulted as he reaches around his waist and unhooks his hemp WWE title lifting it into the air.

Daniel Bryan: Yes I am! I am the champion this planet needs and I will keep fighting for this planet when people like you and these fans continue to ruin it!

More boos from the crowd as Daniel Bryan carries on getting cheap heat from the crowd.

Daniel Bryan: No Ricochet I will beat you on my terms. If you want to fight me, it will be at Summerslam! You see Shane McMahon as my friend will give a true hero for this planet what he wants.

Boos from the crowd as Ricochet looks unfazed.

Ricochet: You're on homeboy.

Cheers from the crowd as Daniel Bryan smirks.

Daniel Bryan: Well if you make it to Summerslam.

Daniel Bryan smirks as Erick Rowan charges at Ricochet looking to take his head off with a big boot but Ricochet ducks underneath! Erick Rowan turns around as Ricochet leaps into the air and catches Erick Rowan with RECOIL! Erick Rowan falls to the floor as Daniel Bryan charges at Ricochet looks to catch him but Ricochet avoids him as well using his insane athleticism and hits Bryan with a superkick dropping him! Ricochet then points to the top rope which gets a pop from the live crowd!

He climbs to the top rope as he positions himself for the 630 senton but Daniel Bryan comes to and rolls away, looking to retreat up the entrance ramp. Erick Rowan is now up too as he joins Daniel Bryan on the ramp with both men not wanting a piece of Ricochet after being shown up just now. They both trash talk Ricochet as they retreat as the camera shows Ricochet perched on the top rope as he smiles at the pair daring them to come back and fight him. We then cut Kayla Braxton who is stood backstage ready for an interview.

Kayla Braxton: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, the Queen Charlotte Flair!

Charlotte walks into the shot looking as smug as ever. She looks like she would rather be elsewhere but Kayla carries on with the interview.

Kayla Braxton: Charlotte earlier on tonight we heard from Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon after you slapped Ember Moon on a moment of Bliss. What are your thoughts on what they had to say?

Charlotte just rolls her eyes.

Charlotte: Let me make one thing clear Kayla. I am the real top star in this division. No, let me correct that, I am the real top star in this company. I main evented Wrestlemania and yet somehow I have yet to get my rightful rematch!

Kayla Braxton: I mean you did lose that match at Mania.

Charlotte glares at Kayla but she carries on anyway.

Kayla Braxton: And you have had numerous chanc...

Charlotte snatches the microphone from Kayla Braxton.

Charlotte: You can leave now.

Charlotte shoos away the interviewer who wisely does what Charlotte says as the Queen turns to the camera.

Charlotte: Once again, I'm not getting the respect I deserve.

Charlotte looks furious as she carries on her rant.

Charlotte: I am better than everyone on this roster! I am genetically superior! I am a goddamn Flair! WOO!

The crowd in the arena join in with that WOO.

Charlotte: But people like Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss think they can disrespect me? Well, maybe it is time for the Queen to remind the peasants where they stand.

The camera focuses on Charlotte who is angrily staring at it as we cut to a commercial break.

*WON'T LET GO*

The commentary team whilst Cedric is walking to the ring, informs us that Daniel Bryan vs Ricochet has been made official for Summerslam. Corey Graves and Byron Saxton hype up the match on commentary. Meanwhile, Cedric Alexander and Epico are both in the ring as the referee calls for the bell to get this contest underway.

Match 4: Cedric Alexander vs Epico w/Primo

Match summary: Cedric once again puts in an impressive performance in the ring as he looks to carry on his momentum after his win over Eric Young last week. Epico tries to put up a fight but he is no match for Cedric. Even with attempted interference from Primo at ringside Cedric picks up his second win in a row with the Lumbar check!

Winner via pinfall: Cedric Alexander (3:07)

Cedric Alexander in the ring gets to his feet getting a pretty decent pop from the live crowd as the commentary team once again put over his victory tonight and tout him as one of the main prospects on Smackdown Live. We then cut to the backstage area as we can see The Revival are in what looks to be a fancy restaurant. Both have got a nice meal as they look to address the camera.

Scott Dawson: Now we are the top guys in this tag team division.

Dash Wilder: And as top guys, we know what works.

Scott Dawson: We know what's best.

Dash Wilder: And flips don't cut the mustard.

Scott Dawson: Y'see when a team like Lucha House Party comes along with all their flips you fans overhype them.

Dash Wilder: And their flips, they are nice to look at. But they are high risk.

Scott Dawson: And that why we believe in...

Dash Wilder: Fists not flips.

Both men put their fists into the air staring at the camera.

Scott Dawson: We were doing some scouting last week.

Dash Wilder: We saw all the flips you can do Lince and Metalik.

Scott Dawson: And we weren't impressed.

Dash Wilder: So anytime you want to step up and face a real team.

Scott Dawson: You know where to find us.

Dash Wilder: Top guys out.

The Revival then go back to eating their meal as we return to the ringside area and get the thoughts of the commentary team as they hype a possible Lucha House Party vs The Revival match in the future. We then cut to a backstage corridor as we can see the Boss 'n' Hug Connection are making their way to the ring. Corey Graves on commentary tells us our main event between Asuka and Sasha Banks is up next. Don't go anywhere.

*CELTIC INVASION*

Becky Lynch makes her way out to the ring getting a loud pop from the live crowd. However, she isn't here to wrestle and instead makes her way to the commentary desk grabbing a headset and joining Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Both welcome Becky before asking why she is out here. Becky says it should be obvious. She is out here to keep an eye on someone who is eying up on the titles on the shoulder and wants to see what they can do.

*SKY'S THE LIMIT*

Sasha Banks makes her way out and she is followed by her tag team partner Bayley. Bayley is holding both the tag team title belts today whilst Sasha as always has her Money in the Bank briefcase in her hands. Becky makes sure to get a jibe in about Sasha saying she isn't who she is here to see and that she is waiting for Sasha to grow a pair and reveal the real boss. Becky also comments on what happened last night and says the man always collects on a debt. Sasha Banks in the ring meanwhile is mouthing off at Becky who is sat at ringside cool calm and collected.

*THE FUTURE*

Asuka makes her way out next getting a loud pop from the fans. She does her usual entrance as Becky looks intently focused on the woman she calls her greatest ever challenge. Asuka meanwhile once she is done with her entrance, she has her eyes on Becky Lynch angering Sasha Banks in the ring. Bayley tries to calm the boss down but Sasha just shakes her head feeling Asuka is disrespecting her. The referee gets both women to their corners before calling for the bell and getting this match underway.

Main event: Asuka vs Sasha Banks w/Bayley

Match summary: As soon as the bell rings both women square up to each other with Asuka smiling. However, that smile soon fades as Sasha Banks slaps her! Becky Lynch on commentary says disrespecting Asuka might be the last mistake the Boss ever makes and it proves to be costly as Asuka starts battering the hell out of Sasha Banks! Sasha is taken aback by the strength of the chops from Asuka and has to roll out of the ring to take a powder.

Asuka though refuses to let up and follows after Sasha Banks taking the battle to the outside as she batters the hell out of Sasha on the outside. Asuka though gets confronted by Bayley who tells her to ease up. Asuka gets in Bayley's face but that allows Sasha to cheap shot Asuka from behind and gets back into the match! Sasha gets Asuka back into the ring as Becky points out Banks had to use Bayley just so she could get back into the match.

Sasha from there starts to try to grind Asuka down and looks to set her up for the Bank statement. Asuka, however, shows why she was unbeaten for so long in NXT and escapes from the lethal hold. Both women batter the hell out of each other as we get to the closing stages of the match. Once again on commentary Becky gives Sasha Banks credit for her in-ring ability but says she has a problem with Sasha's attitude.

Sasha Banks is in control as she slaps Asuka and looks to beat her down but the Empress goes for a spin kick! Sasha though wisely ducks out of the way and catches Asuka on the way back around with a backstabber! Sasha makes the cover but only gets a very close 2 count. Sasha has Asuka on the ropes as she turns to Becky and taunts her saying this will be you soon. Becky rolls her eyes as Sasha turns back around and Asuka catches her with a SPIN KICK KNOCKING SASHA CLEAN OUT! 1 2 3 Asuka picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Asuka (12:16)

Asuka gets to her feet in the ring as the referee lifts her arm into the air as she stands tall over Mrs. Money in the Bank. Becky on commentary smirks as she takes her headset off and heads to the ring to confront Asuka, as she has both her title belts on her shoulders. Corey Graves mocks Sasha for letting herself get distracted and says it is not like the Boss to think about someone else. Once inside the ring Becky Lynch has a quiet confident smirk as she stands across the ring from Asuka. Asuka then looks at Sasha Banks and almost teases doing more damage.

However, this causes Bayley to slide into the ring and get in Asuka's face warning her to stay away from her best friend. Asuka however just lets out a big smile as Becky steps in as well telling Bayley to calm down. Sasha Banks meanwhile rolls out of the ring as the show comes to an end with the two women Becky will be facing at Summerslam staring her down as Sasha Banks lurks in the background clutching her Money in the Bank briefcase as we fade to black.

Monday Night Raw:
July 29th:
Little Rock, Arkansas
Monday Night Raw starts with a video recap as we are shown how last week's show came to a close with a mass brawl taking place between Goldberg and Matt Riddle! We see how many security guards came out and got slaughtered by the pair as they tried to get their hands on each other. We then see the lower card roster members and trainees who had to come out to stop the fight.

We then see the image of Matt Riddle and Goldberg desperate to get their hands on each other as we cut to the commentary team as Michael Cole and Big Show face the camera. Michael Cole welcomes us to the show before telling us both Matt Riddle and Goldberg have been banned from the arena for tonight's show after their chaotic brawl last week. Big Show, however, tells us we will later on tonight see how both men have been preparing for their clash at Summerslam in just 2 weeks!

Michael Cole however then tells us that in the main event of tonight's show we will see the WWE Women's tag team titles on the line as the Boss 'n' Hug Connection take on Fire and Desire in a rematch after they faced off at Stomping Grounds. Big Show informs us that right now we will see the number one contender for the Cruiserweight title in action against the young high-flier Humberto Carrillo but they will have a special guest joining them for this match...

*BOOYAKA 619*

Rey Mysterio makes his way out getting a loud pop from the live crowd before he makes his way over to the commentary desk. Big Show though before Rey can grab a headset, he hugs his friend. Rey reciprocates the hug and lets out a smile before grabbing a headset as he sits down on commentary ahead of this match. He thanks both men for having him. Michael Cole asks him what it is like being back at the top of the Cruiserweight division once again and Rey smiles saying it is an honor being Cruiserweight champion and puts over how good the new superstars within it are.

*DALE GAS*

A decent pop from Humberto Carrillo as he walks out onto the entrance ramp. However, before he starts walking to the ring he turns to the commentary desk and gives Rey a little nod. Rey smiles as he tells the commentary team that Humberto is one of the impressive young superstars within the Cruiserweight division. Big Show tells his friend Rey that he has also been impressed by the young superstar and says he reminds him of a young Rey Mysterio leading to the Cruiserweight champion smiling on commentary.

*COMBATIVE*

Boos from the crowd as the angry Oney Lorcan makes his way out onto the entrance ramp. He makes sure to stare down Rey Mysterio on commentary before marching to the ring with his eyes fixated on his opponent tonight. Michael Cole asks Rey for his thoughts on Oney Lorcan. Rey Mysterio gives Oney Lorcan credit as a competitor in the ring and says he knows he is in for a tough challenge at Summerslam but he doesn't agree with his mentality towards sportsmanship. Once Oney is in the ring the referee calls for the bell and the opening contest on Monday Night Raw is underway!

Match 1: Oney Lorcan vs Humberto Carrillo

Match summary: As soon as the bell rings both men charge and starts battering each other with strikes. Big Show wonders if Humberto is being overly emotional and his lack of experience will lead to him making a mistake against a striker as deadly as Oney Lorcan. And Big Show might be right as after the initial exchange Oney takes full control and starts battering poor Humberto. Humberto though is not going to go down that easily and does make a fightback by playing to his strengths and using his agility to overwhelm Oney, dodging his strikes.

Humberto even looks like picking up the win at some points as Rey mentions he would be willing to give Humberto a title shot if he wins. Big Show says he thinks Humberto is a future Cruiserweight champion for sure but Oney Lorcan is as well. Rey makes a joke to his friend asking if he thinks Oney will beat him at Summerslam. Big Show says it will be a close match but after fighting him for many years he would never bet against Rey. Back in the ring, Humberto flies off the top rope looking for a rounding moonsault but Oney gets his knees up just in time! Oney from there starts battering Humberto with several hard strikes really wearing him down before planting him with the half and half suplex. Oney makes the cover and picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Oney Lorcan (8:21)

Oney Lorcan gets to his feet as he raises his arm into the air. Rey Mysterio gives both men credit for their performance tonight but promises to do his best to retain his Cruiserweight title against Oney Lorcan. In the ring, the referee tries to grab Oney Lorcan's arm to lift it into the air but Oney pulls away and runs over to Humberto Carrillo, attacking him whilst he is down on the mat getting boos from the crowd! Michael Cole and Big Show both call the attack unnecessary as Rey Mysterio takes his headset off and runs down the ramp, towards the ring!

Oney carries on beating down Humberto Carrillo until he sees Rey Mysterio making his way into the ring and slides out of the ring, escaping Rey Mysterio by the skin of his teeth. Rey Mysterio thinks about chasing after Oney Lorcan but instead, he shakes his head and goes to check on his friend in recent times Humberto Carrillo as he looks to make sure he is OK. Oney Lorcan meanwhile as he retreats onto the entrance ramp lets out a smile, happy with his handiwork.

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break, we see Rey Mysterio walking through the back with Humberto Carrillo. Humberto is wincing clearly in a bit of pain after Oney Lorcan's attack post-match.

Rey Mysterio: Hey take it easy Humberto.

Humberto Carrillo: I'm fine Rey. I may be young but I've had worst beatings then this.

As they are walking through the back, both men are stopped in their tracks by Charly Caruso as she approaches the pair looking for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Humberto how are you feeling after losing to Oney Lorcan and being attacked after the match?

Humberto Carrillo: Not great but I'm not done with Oney just yet. Does he think he can cheap shot me like that?

Rey Mysterio: Oney you may think your actions are justified if you can get your hands on my title but they won't be. There was no need to attack Humberto just now? What did he do to you? You're a coward.

Charly Caruso: Rey, would it be fair to say you don't want to wait till Summerslam to get your hand on Oney Lorcan?

Rey Mysterio: Damn right Charly. So next week Oney how about you find a partner and meet us in the ring.

Rey Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo then walk off as Charly Caruso turns to the camera.

Charly Caruso: Well there you have it. Our Cruiserweight champion and Humberto Carrillo have issued Oney Lorcan with a challenge for next week's Monday Night Raw.

We then cut to a backstage locker room as we can see Kurt Angle and Chad Gable sat down both wearing American tracksuits as they look at the camera.

Kurt Angle: Over the last few weeks I have helped Chad Gable get better than before.

We see clips of him working out on Celtic warrior workouts.

Kurt Angle: And we have been doing that by teaching him the three I's.

We then see clips of Chad Gable watching his matches from the past and studying.

Kurt Angle: Intensity. Integrity. Intelligence.

We then see clips of Chad Gable at the start of the match against Samoa Joe showing a lot of intensity.

Kurt Angle: And now Chad Gable beings his fight back to the US title. Chad is capable of beating Samoa Joe. And I say this as someone who knows how to beat Samoa Joe myself as I have fought him around the world and the wars we had, were some of my toughest matches ever.

Chad Gable: And I have been listening to every word you have said, Mr. Angle.

Kurt Angle: You can call me Kurt.So next week we are issuing an open challenge. To see if anyone is willing to face the new and improved Chad Gable.

Chad Gable: And whoever it is, I will be ready willing and Gable.

The camera once again focuses on the intense stare from not only Chad Gable but the Olympic Hero Kurt Angle.

Once we return from the commercial break we can see the Singh Brothers in the ring ready for their match with the street profits getting a very smile reaction from the crowd. However, the pair are so delusional they think they are getting massive cheers from the live crowd.

*BRING THE SWAG*

The Street Profits make their way out next getting a few cheers from the live crowd as they have their signature red cups in one hand and in their other hand they have a microphone. Big Show on commentary noticeably puts over the Street Profits but wonders if they need to get a bit more serious if they want to become tag team champions. However, before entering the ring they look to address their opponents who are lapping up the cheers thinking it is for them.

Angelo Dawkins: Yoyo Montez.

Montez Ford: What's up my brother?

Angelo Dawkins: Look at these two clowns in the ring.

Montez Ford: They think they are stars. They ain't stars.

The Singh Brothers are in the ring looking angry and they start shouting at the Street Profits on the outside of the ring feeling disrespected.

Angelo Dawkins: Tell 'em Montez.

Montez Ford: You ain't Stone Cold.

Loud cheers from the crowd.

Montez Ford: You ain't Bret Hart.

Loud cheers from the crowd.

Montez Ford: You ain't the most electrifying superstar in sports-entertainment, Dwayne the Rock Johnson!

Loud cheers from the crowd as The Singh Brothers look furious. The Street Profits are now on the ring apron.

Angelo Dawkins: But tonight...

Montez Ford: You will face the two men bringing the swag back to Monday nights and you better bring the smoke!

Cheers from the crowd who are now hyped up to see The Street Profits in action. Angelo Dawkins steps in the ring for the Street Profits whilst Sunil Singh steps into the ring for the Singh brothers. The referee then calls for the bell to get this match underway.

Match 2: The Singh Brothers vs The Street Profits

Match summary: The Street Profits words before the match seem to have wound up the Singh Brothers and it works to perfection as The Street Profits stay in control for most of the match with the Singh Brothers acting very rashly throughout the match. They do get a couple of moves off but the Street Profits control the match from start to finish. The finish comes in the end as Angelo Dawkins hits Samir Singh with the pounce. Angelo Dawkins makes the cover whilst Montez Ford wipes out Sunil Singh with a dive to the outside giving the Street Profits the win!

Winners via pinfall: The Street Profits (4:15)

Angelo Dawkins gets to his feet in the ring as he celebrates for the live crowd. Meanwhile, Montez Ford gets to his feet on the outside and makes his way over to the fans celebrating with them causing the fans to cheer even louder. Angelo Dawkins in the ring grabs their red cups and makes his way over to Montez Ford to celebrate with his tag team partner as they have a lot of fun with the crowd. We then cut backstage as we see Oney Lorcan stood in a slightly dark room as he stares at the camera looking very angry.

Oney Lorcan: You want to issue a challenge to me? You want to give me the chance to batter you before we meet at Summerslam? Are you trying to disrespect me!

Oney knocks something over in the darkness before turning back to the camera with an angry and intense glare.

Oney Lorcan: I accept your challenge and next week I will bring an old friend to Monday Night Raw. And then at Summerslam, I take what should be mine!

Oney Lorcan storms off out of shot as we cut to Paige's office backstage as once again she is on the phone to someone.

Paige: Yes HHH, I look forward to seeing you at Summerslam. I was just making Rey Mysterio's challenge is official for next week's Raw. It is looking like a packed show already and a great Summerslam.

The door to Paige's office opens as EC3 walks into the room with Drake Maverick.

Paige: Listen HHH, I'm going to have to call you back. One of my superstars wants to see me.

Paige hangs up the phone and turns to the pair wondering what they want.

Paige: What do you two want?

EC3: Did you see what happened two weeks ago? When Fandango returned and attacked your hottest property on Monday Night Raw. He should be fired before I put him back on the shelf where he belongs!

Paige: I'm not firing him for that. You two have been double-teaming Tyler Breeze for the last few weeks. Did you really think Breeze wouldn't find someone to help him?

Drake Maverick moves closer to Paige and grabs her hand.

Drake Maverick: Listen, Paige as a former general manager let me give you some advice.

Paige looks Drake Maverick dead in the eyes and looks angry but the Drake is oblivious to how angry she is.

Drake Maverick: A top talent like EC3 needs to be looked after. They need to be placated. So I would suggest doing the right thing for EC3 and removing the trash from this brand, OK darling.

Drake lets go of Paige's hand as EC3 stands behind him looking very smug and full of himself, oblivious to how angry Paige is as well. Paige steps forward and gets in Drake Maverick's face.

Paige: I think I need to remind you of a few things, Drake. One, THIS IS MY HOUSE!

That makes Drake Maverick jump back a bit and causes him to go hide behind EC3. Paige then steps forward and gets in EC3's face as she looks to lay down the law.

Paige: Two, I'm not a general manager I'm the commissioner. And three no I will not fire Fandango for making you two look bad. Instead, I'm giving him a match against you Drake next week on Raw. So if you want to make him pay, you'll have to do it yourself. Now leave.

EC3 and Drake Maverick wisely choose to leave the room as Paige pulls out her phone and looks to resume her call with HHH.

When we return from the commercial break, we see Shinsuke Nakamura is about to enter his locker room when he is stopped by Renee Young who is looking for an interview.

Renee Young: Shinsuke, Shinsuke I want to ask your thoughts after Rusev attacking you last week.

Shinsuke Nakamura: Sorry me no speaky English.

Shinsuke looks to walk past but Renee puts her arm in front of the door stopping him not taking his antics this week.

Reene Young: Shinsuke, I know you speak English. What are your thoughts on Rusev attacking you last week?

Shinsuke snarls before responding.

Shinsuke Nakamura: Rusev. I tried to be nice. Now you will pay for what you did.

*MORE THAN ONE MAN*

Heath Slater makes his way out to the ring getting a polite reaction from the live crowd. As he walks to the ring he plays a little bit of air guitar getting a decent pop from a few of the fans who enjoy his antics.

*KILLER INSTINCT*

Mojo Rawley makes his way out with an angry look on his face as he charges down the ramp, getting a muted reaction from the crowd though anyone reacting is booing the former hype man. He slides into the ring as Big Show puts him over as a former Andre the Giant battle royal winner and says Mojo is a dangerous prospect for anyone stepping into the ring with him.

Match 3: Mojo Rawley vs Heath Slater

Match summary: This is a fairly short match. Heath Slater is unable to compete with the power Mojo Rawley has as the former hype man just runs through Heath Slater like a truck and in the end hits him with the Killer Instinct (running forearm smash to a cornered opponent) and picks up the win tonight!

Winner via pinfall: Mojo Rawley (3:22)

Mojo Rawley gets to his feet as he looks hyped up after picking up the win tonight. Heath Slater meanwhile on the mat is only just coming to and rubs his jaw after that lethal forearm smash. Mojo poses to boos from the crowd as we cut to a hallway backstage as we can see Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman are walking to the ring. Michael Cole tells us that after the commercial break we will be hearing from Paul Heyman and the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar!

Ad break

*NEXT BIG THING*

A loud mixed reaction as always for Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman as the duo make their way to the ring. It is mostly boos however after what Brock Lesnar did to the Universal champion Seth Rollins but also what he did to Aleister Black. Brock Lesnar has a cocky smirk as he walks to the ring once again doing the arm break taunt which gets more heat from the crowd. Paul Heyman stands in the ring ready to speak as Brock Lesnar does his usual pose, jogging up and down in the ring.

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman and I'm the advocate for the conqueror, the beast incarnate BROOOCCCCCKKK LESNARRRRR!

The crowd are noticeably following along with everything Paul says like sheep as he turns to the fans.

Paul Heyman: This is not a sing-along so I would suggest you be quiet and listen.

Loud boos for Paul Heyman who smirks and gets down to business.

Paul Heyman: No tonight I am sending a warning, no not a warning, a plea for Seth Rollins to see sense and save his career before Brock Lesnar ends it at Summerslam!

Loud boos as Brock smiles at the thought of destroying Seth Rollins.

Paul Heyman: You see Seth. You have been warned by the doctor to stay away. What Brock did to you was just a taster of what you are in for at Summerslam. Brock was going easy to make sure you had a chance of making it to Summerslam!

Paul Heyman lets out an evil smile as Brock stands there behind him and once again does the arm-breaker taunt.

Paul Heyman: You saw what Brock did to Aleister Black! If Brock wanted to break your arms he could just like that!

Paul Heyman snaps his fingers as Brock smirks.

Paul Heyman: If you come to Summerslam, Brock might not stop at one arm. Brock will violate you. Brock will conquer you. Brock will take back his property to become your reigning defending undisputed...

*BURN IT DOWN/ SECOND COMING*

Loud cheers as Seth Rollins's music cuts Paul Heyman off. He slowly limps out onto the entrance ramp needing crutches to help him walk with the Universal title still around his waist. Paul Heyman smirks in the ring as Brock Lesnar starts to full-on belly laugh in the ring, enjoying the state Seth Rollins is in after his attack a few weeks ago. Big Show on commentary wonders if this is a good idea and thinks Seth shouldn't be here right now or he will get destroyed.

Paul Heyman: Seth maybe you're a smart man after all. Have you come to vacate your Universal title?

Seth Rollins stops about halfway down the ramp, still limping as he defiantly shakes his head.

Seth Rollins: No Paul I came here as I want to tell Brock Lesnar to his face, that no matter what injuries I have when I walk into the ring at Summerslam, I will still be the Universal champion!

Cheers from the crowd who admire Seth's defiance but Brock and Paul in the ring both chuckle.

Paul Heyman: Seth just look at you. You're giving these people false hope. Even if you were 100% you would not stand a chance against Brock but you want to pretend you have a chance. I mean...

Paul stops as Brock Lesnar whispers something in Paul's ear which makes Paul let out a devilish grin.

Paul Heyman: What a great idea. Little Rock how about we give you a Summerslam preview!

Seth Rollins gulps realizing he is in trouble, dropping his microphone as Brock Lesnar smirks and rolls out of the ring as he takes his time walking towards Seth. Seth slowly hops back as Brock gets within in arm's length of Seth as SETH SUDDENLY COMES ALIVE AND SMASHES BROCK IN THE HEAD WITH ONE OF THE CRUTCHES! Brock stumbles back as in the ring Paul Heyman is shocked as Seth leaps into the air and whacks Brock with the crutch over and over until it breaks in half!

Brock is down on the ramp on his knees, clearly worn out after the shots with the crutch as it becomes clear Seth Rollins was faking his injuries and is just fine! With Brock now on his knees Seth unhooks the Universal title as he lines Brock Lesnar up and shouts to him “You want this title back?” before taking is head off with a belt shot to the head stunning the Beast! However, Seth isn't done there as he takes a moment to line up the stumbling Brock as he looks Paul Heyman in the eyes and hits Brock with a
CURB STOMP ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP!

Brock head bangs against the entrance ramp as Paul Heyman in the ring looks on in shock. Seth Rollins takes a moment to stick his arms out in a Jesus like pose getting loud cheers from the fans. Seth Rollins heads back up the entrance ramp as Brock Lesnar is still down and out. Paul Heyman has now slid out of the ring and starts to check on Brock Lesnar as Seth Rollins stands at the top of the entrance ramp holding his Universal title with his plan tonight coming together.

*STRAWBERRY MOON*

When we return from the commercial break we see Akira Tozawa making his way to the ring getting a few cheers from the live crowd. The commentary team meanwhile talks about what we have just witnessed and gives Seth Rollins credit for outsmarting not only Brock Lesnar but Paul Heyman. Big Show, however, wonders if he should have saved the trick for Summerslam!

*DESTORYER*

Samoa Joe marches out with his United States title on his shoulder. The commentary team switches focus as they hype up the collision that will take place between Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman at Summerslam for the United States title. Samoa Joe looks angry as he steps into the ring whilst Akira looks focused knowing how much a win could do for him and maybe get him a future United States title shot. The referee calls for the bell and this match is underway.

Match 4: Samoa Joe vs Akira Tozawa

Match summary: Samoa Joe right from the start looks to go for the clutch and end this quickly, almost like he is trying to prove a point. Akira is too quick and agile to be caught out that easily and actually gives Joe some kicks and strikes stunning the US champion. Akira even looks like he might win but Joe counters a kick and starts battering the hell out of Akira, almost like he is angry he dared fight back, finishing him off with the musclebuster!

Winner via pinfall: Samoa Joe (4:02)

Samoa Joe gets to his feet as he demands he is passed his United States title. He snatches it from the referee as he stands tall in the ring. He lifts the title into the air as he makes sure to tell the crowd “no-one can stop me”. However, as he is posing in the ring...

*BRAUN/ I AM STRONGER*

Braun Strowman marches down the ramp with a purpose. Michael Cole on commentary tells us that Braun is in action next as he will be taking on Konnor from the Ascension in singles action. Braun Strowman steps over the ropes as Samoa Joe and the monster among men come face to face in the ring as the two monsters stare each other down, neither man moving an inch.

*REBELLION*

Konnor marches out with his tag team partner Viktor by his side. He has a microphone in his hand but Braun Strowman doesn't even care about his opponent tonight with his eyes only on Samoa Joe, his opponent at Summerslam.

Konnor: Last week, you got lucky against my partner Viktor. Tonight Braun, I will welcome you to the wasteland!

Short but sweet as Samoa Joe makes his way out of the ring. Konnor climbs into the ring ready for the match as Braun is still staring at Samoa Joe on the outside. Konnor and Viktor are annoyed by this as they tell the referee to call for the bell, which he does and this is underway.

Match 5: Braun Strowman vs Konnor w/Viktor

Match summary: Braun even after the bell has his attention on Samoa Joe who is still watching on the entrance ramp. Konnor charges at him and gets a few punches in but it doesn't even faze Braun! No instead it seems to fire him up as he swats Konnor away like a fly. Viktor climbs onto the apron as he tries to distract Braun but Braun boots him in the face sending him crashing to the floor. Braun then turns back to Konnor as he drags him off the mat and stares at Joe on the outside before planting Konnor with his running powerslam! Braun makes the cover and stares at the US champion Samoa Joe the whole time as he picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Braun Strowman (0:45)

Braun gets to his feet but doesn't care about getting his arm raised, instead staring down Samoa Joe on the outside. Braun lets out a massive roar as Samoa Joe stands there defiantly holding his United States title in the air as the commentary team wonder if the ring will be able to contain these two men when they go head to head at Summerslam!

When we return from the commercial break, we see Mojo Rawley is stood backstage in a hallway. He is still a little sweaty after his match with Heath Slater earlier on tonight as he turns to face the camera.

Mojo Rawley: Y'know I used to be all about the hype but now I can't stand it.

Mojo Rawley takes off the tape he has around his fists and looks to carry on speaking.

Mojo Rawley: And the person who has the most hype? Chad Gable? He is the perfect example of overhype!

Mojo Rawley looks angry now.

Mojo Rawley: You think because you have a washed-up legend giving you advice you're somebody? Well, guess what I'm answering your challenge!

Mojo Rawley steps forward to point at the camera.

Mojo Rawley: Next week, I do what I do best and kill the hype!

Mojo Rawley snarls at the camera looking angry (also he does not have that weird blue stuff on his face). We then cut to Seth Rollins who is in his locker room as he is taking off the tape that was around his ribcage as we see Renee Young walk into the room.

Renee Young: Seth, I know you're a busy man but can I ask you a couple of questions?

Seth Rollins: Of course you can Renee.

Seth Rollins turns around as Renee joins him on the bench.

Renee Young: Now earlier tonight we saw you lay out Brock Lesnar thanks to this ruse. Don't you think that might make Brock angry?

Seth Rollins: Oh I know it will but that is my plan. See I want Brock to know that no matter how much he tries to hurt me or end my career, I'll get back up and I will find a way to keep him down. I want that anger to creep into his mind and turn into doubt. Tonight was about sending a message as this brand needs me as champion. The WWE universe needs a fighting champion. At Summerslam, I will be at 100% and I will keep this title.

Renee Young: My other question would be are you not worried about Paul Heyman?

Seth Rollins: Paul Heyman is the only reason I revealed my ruse tonight. Paul would have seen through my plan if I waited till Summerslam. But now? I'll have him on edge and he will now be thinking about every possible plan I could have. Which is perfect for me because at Summerslam I will prove Wrestlemania wasn't a fluke and I will conquer the conqueror!

Renee Young: Thanks for your time Seth.

Seth Rollins: My pleasure Renee.

Renee Young leaves the room as Seth Rollins goes back to taking the tape off his ribcage with a big smile on his face. We then cut to a hallway as we can see the Bulgarian Brute Rusev is walking towards the ring. Michael Cole on commentary tells us we are going to see Rusev in action after the commercial break!

*WIN IT ALL*

When we return from the commercial break we can hear the theme music for the former Cruiserweight champion Tony Nese who walks to the ring getting a polite reaction from the crowd as he looks to get back on form after being on a bit of a losing streak recently.

*ROAR OF THE LION*

Rusev makes his way out next getting cheers from the live crowd and even a few “Rusev Day” chants as he marches to the ring looking focused and angry. His wife Lana just before he gets in the ring stops him and gives him a kiss. He steps into the ring as Michael Cole wonders if Rusev will be able to focus, especially due to his issues with Shinsuke Nakamura since their team came to an end. Big Show says he could be in danger if he is not fully focused on winning tonight.

Match 6: Rusev w/Lana vs Tony Nese

Match summary: Rusev starts off the match powering through Tony Nese and tossing his smaller opponent around the ring. Tony Nese, however, manages to stay alive during the match using his agility to avoid Rusev's power on a couple of occasions and even catches Rusev off-guard at some point stunning the brute. This match goes on a little longer than expected but in the end, Rusev puts Tony Nese away with a Machka kick to the head for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Rusev (8:22)

Rusev gets to his feet as the crowd cheer Rusev after his performance tonight. We even hear a few more “Rusev Day” chants from the crowd which brings a slight smile to his face. Lana joins her husband in the ring and they once again kiss. Meanwhile, we see Tony Nese stumble to his feet, still feeling the effects of the Machka kick to the head! He stumbles over towards Rusev as she breaks away from his wife and offers Tony a handshake! Tony takes a moment before accepting it. However, as this is happening...

*SHADOWS OF A SETTING SUN*

Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way out to the top of the entrance ramp getting boos from the crowd. He stands there with a troll-like smirk that gets the attention of Rusev straight away. He breaks the handshake and slides out of the ring looking to get his hands on Shinsuke. However, Shinsuke responds by shaking his head as he says “my terms not yours” and walks off before Rusev can catch him! Rusev on the ramp looks annoyed that Shinsuke choose to taunt him as his wife Lana makes her way onto the ramp and calms her husband down saying they will get there hands on him soon.

The pair kiss each other as we cut to what looks like a dressing room as we can see two men getting their make up done. They tell the girls to stop for the moment and turn around to face the camera revealing it is Breezedango! Tyler Breeze takes a moment to get his selfie stick as both men tilt their heads and look at the camera as they check out how good they look. Breeze then puts down his selfie stick happy with what he sees.

Tyler Breeze: We look absolutely gorgeous don't we Dango?

Fandango: Of course we do Tyler, we look smooth and fabulous.

Tyler Breeze: Now we have retired from the force, we have more time to focus on making ourselves look amazing.

Fandango: And time to focus on those two uggos Drake Maverick and EC3.

Tyler Breeze gags at the mention of those two men.

Tyler Breeze: And next week you get to put the pint-sized punk in his place Dango.

Fandango: It will be such a grand return. The start of a new fashion season as I put Drake Maverick down.

Tyler Breeze: And once we take care of him and EC3, Breezedango make their way to the top of the tag team division.

Fandango nods as they signal for the girls who were helping them with their make up to come back. They walk back into the shot with a bunch of clothes as Breezedango seems to be picking out their outfit for next week's show. We then cut back to the commentary team at ringside as Big Show can't help but laugh at the antics of the pair.

Michael Cole then switches focus to the Past versus Future match at Summerslam and tells us we are going to take an exclusive look into how both men are preparing for the match at Summerslam! We start off in what looks a like deserted gym as Goldberg starts to work out on his own. We see him lift weights as well as practicing his spear and his ability to hit the jackhammer with an unknown man. We cut back to Goldberg who is sat down on one of the benches at the gym.

Goldberg: There is a long of ring rust to work off I have to say.

Goldberg is noticeably sweating from his workout. As we cut to more images of his workout it becomes clear he is focusing on making sure he has his explosive power ready for Summerslam.

Goldberg: Matt Riddle can talk about how long he can fight for but I plan to get the job done as quickly as possible. I'm not paid by the minute.

Goldberg is once again shown practicing his spear with someone holding a foam pad but even with a foam pad blocking Goldberg's force the guy falls over in pain. We then cut to Goldberg who is once again on the bench.

Goldberg: All that matters at Summerslam is who's next.

We then cut to a beach as we can see Matt Riddle with a friend as both men are grappling and trying to out-wrestle each other. The tone is quite friendly but both men are fairly competitive. We then see Matt Riddle lifting some weights, doing some exercises on his own. We then catch him as he is going for a run.

Matt Riddle: I'm not doing anything different than I normally do, to be honest bro.

Matt Riddle cuts a relaxed figure as he looks at the camera.

Matt Riddle: It's not that I'm taking Goldberg lightly. Nah bro, I have been preparing for this match ever since I started wrestling man.

We cut back to Matt Riddle who is once again fighting the same person working on his submissions. We then cut to a relaxed Matt Riddle who is sat on the beach.

Matt Riddle: Like I've said before, at Summerslam I show Goldberg what a real wrestler looks like bro.

We then see Matt Riddle once again grappling on the beach before getting a side by side shot of Goldberg working on his spears in the gym.

*GO HARD*

Mustafa Ali makes his way out getting a loud pop from the crowd as he walks to the ring with a microphone in hand as he is dressed in a pair of jeans and a hoodie. Michael Cole on commentary reminds us that next week Mustafa Ali will go head to head with AJ Styles. He steps into the ring looking in a serious mood. He takes a moment to walk around the ring soaking in the reaction from the live crowd.

Mustafa Ali: Next week, I step into the ring and I take on AJ Styles one on one. And this match a few years ago would have been something special to me.

Mustafa Ali pauses for a moment almost like he is reminiscing.

Mustafa Ali: I mean look at all AJ had done in his career even before coming to the WWE. AJ is a superstar who has done it all. And for years as I worked my way to the WWE, I always wanted to face AJ. I mean who wouldn't he is phenomenal.

Mustafa Ali shrugs his shoulders.

Mustafa Ali: However something has changed since you got here. And I saw it first hand after I pinned you in the Elimination Chamber!

Mustafa Ali is now looking fired up.

Mustafa Ali: Your ego couldn't handle being pinned fair and square so you started attacking me from behind with the help of your boys.

Mustafa Ali shakes his head.

Mustafa Ali: Because when you don't get your way, you use your boys and the numbers game to get what you want! However, you are forgetting my past.

Big Show on commentary throws in a line reminding the people watching at home Mustafa Ali used to be a cop.

Mustafa Ali: You think I haven't had to deal with people who hide behind gangs. You think I didn't have to fight people on the street like you who use their power to bully people below them?

Mustafa Ali is getting loud cheers from the crowd.

Mustafa Ali: So I have a challenge for you. How about next week when you face me, you do it alone?

Cheers from the crowd as Mustafa Ali is now facing the entrance ramp.

Mustafa Ali: So what do you say AJ?

Mustafa Ali sticks his arms out as he waits for AJ Styles to come out which takes a while but eventually...

*PHENOMENAL*

AJ Styles walks out and noticeably he is without his allies the Good Brothers Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. AJ Styles walks down to the ring, as he clearly looks in a bad mood. He steps through the ropes coming face to face with Mustafa Ali in the ring.

AJ Styles: You think I need my boys to beat you? I don't need anyone's help to beat you as I'm simply phenomenal!

Boos from the crowd for the cheesy line.

AJ Styles: Look at all the titles I have won since coming to WWE and I didn't need the help of anyone to do it!

AJ is now getting angry as he gets in Ali's face.

AJ Styles: Ali I know how good you are, no let me correct you. I know how great you are. But you ain't phenomenal. The Elimination Chamber was a one-off and when we fight next week I won't need my boys out there. No, I will beat you in the center of this ring and show you why I'm the phenomenal one!

Mixed reaction as AJ agrees to face Mustafa Ali alone next week. AJ Styles goes to leave but Mustafa Ali spins him back around getting into his face

Mustafa Ali: And next week I prove that Elimination Chamber was no fluke. I prove I can hang with AJ Styles. I will show everyone why I'm the heart of this brand when I beat you in this ring!

AJ just smirks, however.

AJ Styles: All that will happen next week is my driving a stake through the heart of Monday Night Raw!

AJ drops the microphone and leaves the ring. He slowly retreats up the ramp leaving Mustafa Ali stood in the ring looking frustrated as he stares down AJ Styles. Michael Cole on commentary notes he got what he asked for next week as AJ Styles has promised to face him alone but Big Show says Mustafa Ali will still have a tough task beating someone as good as AJ Styles next week.

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break, we can see The Club hanging out backstage as they wait for their leader AJ Styles to return. Both men are laughing and joking with each other as they are approached by the number one contender's for the Raw tag team titles The Lucha Dragons!

Luke Gallows: Hey Karl, look who it is?

Karl Anderson: Oh yeah it is the Lucha nerds.

Luke Gallows starts laughing at that terrible joke as Kalisto and Sin Cara turn to each other as they say something in Spanish. This seems to annoy Karl Anderson.

Karl Anderson: Hey we don't speak Spanish so repeat what you just said in English!

Karl Anderson cracks his knuckles as Kalisto looks at the pair unimpressed.

Kalisto: I was just telling Sin Cara how much I was looking forward to taking those Raw tag team titles from you two.

Luke and Karl turn to each other as they start laughing.

Luke Gallows: Oh that's funny. Wait wait, Karl, I think he was being serious.

Karl starts laughing as well.

Karl Anderson: I think he actually was. Listen short stuff we ain't losing these titles anytime soon.

Sin Cara: Well we will see about that as we are getting our title match on the Summerslam pre-show!

Karl Anderson: Well that's real nice but at Summerslam when we beat you, it will be too sweet.

Both Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows too sweet each other as they walk off leaving the Lucha Dragons a little annoyed by the antics of The Club. We then cut back to the ring as we can see Kavita Devi (one of the performancecenter talents) stood in the ring waiting for her opponent.

*THE NEXT VOYAGE*

Cheers from the live crowd as Kairi Sane makes her way out to the ring. The commentary team mention this match could be a chance for Kairi to get a win after coming up short in the semi-finals of the Raw Women's title tournament. Kairi looks a little down after how the other week went whilst Kavita knows how big an opportunity this is for her and a win might earn her a Raw contract.

Match 7: Kairi Sane vs Kavita Devi

Match summary: Kairi Sane is too much for Kavita Devi and she isn't someone who will toy with her opponent. Kairi, in the end, picks up the win with the Anchor!

Winner via submission: Kairi Sane (1:39)

Kairi Sane gets to her feet getting cheers from the crowd as the commentary team tell us it will feel good to have bounced back with a win tonight. She carries on celebrating in the ring as we cut to a commercial break.

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break we can see Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, and Jey Uso walking through the backstage area in a good mood. They are about to head into what looks like a gym room where we can see Zelina Vega stood by the door as Cesaro and Mr. Money in the Bank Andrade Cien Almas are working out. As the 3 men walk in Zelina notices them and does not look happy.

Zelina Vega: Hey, hey what are you three doing in here?

Curt Hawkins looks baffled by this question.

Curt Hawkins: Why do you think we are here? We are here to work out.

Zelina Vega: No no no. You three can leave. You do not belong in here at the same time as my two clients.

Jey Uso: Oh yeah and why is that Uce?

Zelina Vega: My clients are in here right now and they only train with winners...

She looks all 3 men up and down before pointing at Curt Hawkins.

Zelina Vega: Well I mean you're a self-proclaimed loser.

Curt Hawkins just shakes his head as Zack Ryder steps forward which gets the attention of Cesaro and Andrade Cien Almas in the background who stop their workouts.

Zack Ryder: Zelina you may be kind of cute but we wouldn't want to work with you anyway. We just came here to lift some weights.

Andrade Cien Almas: Well we don't want you in here so leave.

Jey Uso: Or what?

Jey Uso steps forward as do Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder ready for a scrap. However, Cesaro and Andrade Cien Almas also look ready for a fight.

Cesaro: If you two want a fight...

Zelina, however, steps in between the two groups and turns to her clients signaling for them to leave. Both Cesaro and Andrade take a moment wanting to fight Ryder, Hawkins and Jey Uso but they do what their manager says.

Zack Ryder: Scared of us fist-pumping their faces off?

Zelina Vega: Adorable. No, my clients when they fight, it is a big deal and deserves promotion. I'm not having my clients fighting some losers in a gym.

Jey Uso steps forward now standing in front of his friends.

Jey Uso: Well how about you speak to Paige and I'll fight either one of them next week.

Zelina smirks.

Zelina Vega: If you want to show everyone how much of a loser you are, be my guest.

Zelina smirks as she walks off with Jey Uso looking fired up as he turns back to his friends Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. They fist bump each other before making their way to the gym equipment and start their work out. We then cut to Charly Caruso who is stood ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, the Scottish Supernova Noam Dar!

Noam Dar walks into the shot as he is chewing gum and he is wearing his usual tracksuit. He has a big cocky smirk on his face as he walks into the shot.

Charly Caruso: Noam last week you picked up the win against your fellow Cruiserweight Akira Towaza. What are your plans for the future?

Noam Dar takes a moment to carry on chewing his gum before turning to Charly Caruso.

Noam Dar: Charly, Charly you gorgeous girl. My plans for the future are obvious. Y'see there is someone holding what should be mine, walking around on a dodgy knee.

Dar spits his gum out and carries on.

Noam Dar: Rey you had your time on top ya dafty but now it is time for not just a star to rise to the top but a supernova. But you might not even make it past Summerslam Rey.

Noam Dar lets out a laugh.

Noam Dar: No because that angry little goblin Oney Lorcan might knock your mask clean off your head!

Charly Caruso: Don't you think that comment is disrespectful to Rey's heritage?

Noam Dar: Charly darling, y'know that daft saying. Respect your elders? I don't need to respect anyone because I'm a prodigy. I'm one of the best young talents in the business and it doesn't matter who wins at Summerslam as you're looking at the next Cruiserweight champion love.

Noam Dar patronizingly pats Charly on the head before walking off out of shot, acting every bit like the cocky prick he is. We then cut to a hallway as we see Becky Lynch is walking to the ring with a purpose. Becky has both her Raw and Smackdown Women's titles on her shoulders as she walks towards the ring. Michael Cole on commentary tells us that we will see Becky2belts in action after the commercial break!

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break, we see Tamina is stood in the ring as she waits for Becky Lynch to come to the ring. As she stands there Big Show informs us that next week we will see Jey Uso and Andrade Cien Almas go head to head after their confrontation earlier tonight. Michael Cole gives us a rundown of the other four matches official for next week: Chad Gable vs Mojo Rawley, Fandango vs Drake Maverick, Rey Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo vs Oney Lorcan and a partner of his choosing and last but not least AJ Styles vs Mustafa Ali!

*CELTIC INVASION*

Becky Lynch marches out getting a loud pop from the live crowd as she lifts both her title belts into the air, prompting some Becky2belts chants from the fans. Big Show puts over Tamina and tries to present her as a potential threat to Becky tonight and how a win might give Tamina a future Raw Women's title shot. Becky steps into the ring not looking too worried as the referee calls for the bell getting this match underway.

Match 8: Becky Lynch vs Tamina

Match summary: Tamina tries to come out of the blocks straight away but Becky is too skilled to be worried by Tamina even with the size advantage and locks in the Dis-arm-her forcing her to tap out in quick fashion!

Winner via submission: Becky Lynch (2:42)

Becky Lynch gets to her feet as soon as she forces Tamina to tap out getting loud cheers from the crowd as she once again shows why she is the champ champ. Becky grabs both of her title belts and places them onto his shoulders before signaling for a microphone as the crowd carries on the usual becky2belts chants.

Becky Lynch: The Man has a very busy night ahead of her. I mean at Summerslam I put both of these titles on the line against two of the best to ever step into the ring.

A few Asuka and a few Bayley chants start as Becky nods.

Becky Lynch: And whilst Bayley's best friend wishes she was in the ring with me instead, she will just have to watch from the back unless she chooses to step up!

Cheers for Becky Lynch getting fired up.

Becky Lynch: However I've got a pretty free schedule right now so what I'm going to do is take a seat on that commentary table and Bayley, I'll be watching your tag team title match very closely.

Becky drops the microphone to the mat as she makes her way to the commentary table. Big Show hypes up Becky being on commentary for the main event as Michael Cole tells us up next we will see the Women's tag team titles defended in the main event of Monday Night Raw for the first time ever and for us not to go anywhere!

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break we hear the voice of Becky Lynch as Micheal Cole and Big Show welcome us back. Becky says she wanted to have a front-row seat to history being made tonight. She adds that she wants the Women's division to reach new heights because as great as she is, she can't do all of the work.

*GOLDEN GODDESS*

Fire and Desire make their way out to the ring first getting boos from the crowd. Both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville look fired up ahead of the main event. Big Show asks Becky Lynch what she thinks of the pair and Becky gives credit to both women for their skills especially focusing on the former MMA background of Sonya Deville.

*SKY'S THE LIMIT*
*TURN IT UP*

The Boss 'n' Hug Connection make their way out next getting a good pop from the live crowd with Sasha Banks holding her Money in the Bank briefcase in one hand and her Women's tag team title in the other hand. Bayley starts to walk to the ring but Sasha stops for a moment and makes her way over to the commentary table! Becky Lynch gets out of her chair as she gets ready for a fight as Banks shows off her Money in the Bank briefcase and starts talking trash.

Bayley though turns around to see what her best friend is doing and has to make her way to the commentary table to pull Sasha Banks away. Bayley has to tell her friend to focus on the tag team titles which Banks does as the pair walk to the ring, though Sasha Banks can't help but turn back to glare at Becky Lynch. Becky on commentary comments everyone wants a piece of the man but once again says Banks knows what she has to do if she wants a shot at either of these titles! In the ring, Bayley steps inside wanting to start for her team whilst Sonya Deville starts for Fire and Desire.

Main event: WWE Women's tag team titles: Boss 'n' Hug Connection (c) vs Fire and Desire

Match summary: Both Bayley and Sonya start this off with a brawl as Michael Cole and Big Show remind us that Bayley was attacked at Money in the Bank and thinks it was Fire and Desire. Becky chooses not to comment on that just doing a sipping tea motion on camera as the pair say this. In the ring, there are a lot of frequent tags by both teams with the Boss 'n' Hug Connection in control of the match.

However, as the match goes on Sasha Banks seems more focused on Becky Lynch sat on commentary than retaining the tag team titles. Becky comments if Sasha keeps running her mouth, she will collect the debt owed. Fire and Desire use Sasha's antics to their advantage as Mandy Rose whilst Sasha is taunting Becky on the apron clocks her from behind. Bayley tries to go after Mandy but Sonya climbs into the ring and takes care of Bayley.

Sonya after this would pick up Bayley and sends her towards the corner of the ring as Fire and Desire cut the ring in half and work over Bayley! Sasha Banks looks frustrated as Becky on commentary says this proves exactly why Bayley can't trust Sasha Banks as Sasha only cares about herself and what she wants. Banks though tries to cheer Bayley on and even tries to use the Money in the Bank briefcase to help save her friend but the referee catches her and demands she leaves the ring or he will disqualify Sasha Banks.

Bayley though refuses to give up which frustrates Fire and Desire who are determined to become WWE Women's tag team champions! Becky gives Bayley credit on commentary and says there is no one in the women's division with as much heart as Bayley. Becky says Bayley will bring it at Summerslam and it will be a tough challenge even if she is a little naïve. Back in the ring Bayley finally starts to make a comeback and makes the hot tag bringing Sasha Banks into the match!

Sasha Banks is on fire and takes both members of Fire and Desire out getting cheers from the crowd. Sonya Deville is the legal woman for Fire and Desire as Sasha lines her up but instead of going for the Bank statement, she grabs hold of Sonya's arm and locks in the Dis-arm-her! Becky on commentary at this point has had enough of Sasha's disrespect and takes her headset off as she heads to the ring!

Sonya meanwhile is a submission expert and gets to the ropes, forcing Sasha to break the hold. Sasha though makes sure to make full use of the rope break before letting go at the count of 4. Sasha lets go as she sees Becky Lynch walking down the ramp and starts trash talking her! Meanwhile on the outside, Mandy Rose takes care of Bayley hitting her with one of the title belts out of view of the referee.

The referee has his eyes on Becky Lynch, as the Man puts her hands in the air signaling she isn't doing anything! Sasha runs her mouth still before turning around into a kick to the head from Sonya! Sonya makes the cover 1 2 Sasha kicks out! Sonya looks annoyed but she sees Mandy with the title and goes to the turnbuckle as she starts taking off the pad! The referee goes over straight away and stops her as Mandy slides in with the Women's tag team title!

However, Bayley grabs Mandy's leg stopping her and dragging her out of the ring as the pair start fighting again. Sasha is coming to but Becky Lynch seeing the referee is busy slides into the ring and hits Sasha with MAN DOWN ONTO THE WOMEN'S TAG TEAM TITLE! Becky quick as a flash slides back outside the ring. Sonya is a little shocked at what just happened having seen all of it whilst the referee argued with her but quickly grabs hold of Sasha Banks and hits her with the HELLEVATOR to put an exclamation point on it! Sonya makes the cover 1 Bayley tries to make the save 2 But Mandy stops her 3! FIRE AND DESIRE ARE WOMEN'S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!

Winners via pinfall and the NEW WWE Women's tag team champions: Fire and Desire (15:46)

Bayley holds her head in her hands as Mandy Rose lets go of the ankle on the count of 3 and joins Sonya Deville in the ring as both women start to celebrate! On the outside, Becky smiles as Sasha Banks starts to recover in the ring and locks eyes with the Man. Becky shouts that maybe Sasha will learn her place. Bayley meanwhile runs around the ring and confronts the champ champ asking why she cost them the tag team titles.

Becky remains calm and tells Bayley her friend ran her mouth too many times and needed to be reminded of her place. Bayley shakes her head as Becky tells Bayley she needs to choose better friends as she walks off. However, before she can leave Bayley grabs Becky's arm and spins her around bring the pair face to face as Bayley has a few more words to say but no fists are thrown yet. Sasha in the ring meanwhile is coming too and glares at Becky Lynch, furious she has lost her Women's tag team titles tonight thanks to Becky.

Fire and Desire meanwhile walk off and carry on celebrating as they leave with their Women's tag team titles as Becky Lynch and Bayley carry on arguing on the ramp, with Becky telling Bayley she better bring this anger at Summerslam as the show comes to an end with Fire and Desire holding their new tag team titles, Bayley and Becky are face to face whilst Sasha is down in the ring looking angry as her ego and need to taunt Becky Lynch has cost her the Women's tag team titles tonight as we fade to black.

*GALLANTRY*

Smackdown Live after the usual introduction to the show starts with Drew McIntyre's theme music playing as the Sinister Scotsman makes his way to the ring getting boos from the crowd as he walks to the ring. Corey Graves and Byron Saxton on commentary tell us last week we saw the Corporation lose a tag team match to Reigns, The Miz, and Kofi with Drew and Roman brawling to the back during the match and having to be separated by not only security but other wrestlers as well. Drew is now stood in the ring as he looks to speak to the live crowd.

Drew McIntyre: Last week, Shane McMahon stopped me from destroying Roman Reigns.

Drew paces up and down in the ring not looking happy as he gets more and more fired up in the ring.

Drew McIntyre: Shane told me during the week that he stopped me from destroying Roman Reigns as it was best for business he makes it to Summerslam!

Boos from the crowd for the famous authority tag line.

Drew McIntyre: However I don't give a damn about what's best for business. I just want a fight!

A few cheers from the crowd, surprisingly behind Drew's attitude even if it is directed towards the popular Roman Reigns.

Drew McIntyre: So Roman, I ain't waiting till Summerslam. Get out here right now and let me finish what I started!

Cheers from the crowd who look forward to seeing a Summerslam preview but there is no answer straight away angering Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre: Are you a coward Roman? Come out here right now or I'll go back there and find you myself!

Drew McIntyre waits a few seconds but there is still no answer. Drew shakes his head before making his way to the ropes when...

Big E: Ooooooooh Memphis, Tennessee! Don't you dare be sour. Clap for your world-famous WWE champion and feel the power!

*NEW DAY, NEW WAY*

Instead of Roman Reigns coming out, it is the other person in the triple threat match for the WWE title at Summerslam, the current WWE champion Kofi Kingston. And he is not alone as he makes his way out with the rest of the New Day following him. Drew doesn't look impressed however.

Drew McIntyre: This doesn't concern you Kofi so I suggest you and your friends leave right now if you want to make it to Summerslam!

Boos from the crowd as Kofi smiles not taking the threat seriously.

Kofi Kingston: Oh there I was thinking you and Roman forgot about me!

Big E: It seems all you two want to do is focus on is each other and quite frankly that is showing disrespect to our best friend Kofi!

Xavier Woods: Now we know Kofi was never meant to be WWE champion, but he has now held that belt for over 100 days taking on all challengers. Hell, he even beat your friend Corbin!

Drew McIntyre: Trust me when I say this, Corbin is not my friend! I haven't forgotten about Kofi. I know how good you are Kofi and I actually admire how hard you worked to win that title.

Cheers from the crowd with some surprised how complementary Drew McIntyre is being about the WWE champion.

Drew McIntyre: But that is nothing compared to the pain I had to go through to get back to where I belong. Unlike you when I started to fail, I didn't get another chance. No, I got fired and I had to fight my way back to this company. I had to fight my way through the whole of NXT!

Drew is fired up as the New Day are now stood in the ring with Kofi front and center staring down the sinister Scotsman.

Drew McIntyre: The person you fought years ago for the Intercontinental title was a boy and now I'm a man! A man who is coming for that title so if Roman is too scared to come out here for a fight, I ain't waiting till Summerslam to fight you!

Loud cheers from the crowd as they look forward to seeing a Summerslam preview. Kofi signals for his friends to step back. Both look a bit cautious but they do what their friend asks.

Kofi Kingston: You want to talk about growth? Drew you may have worked hard to get back here but I still see the same man I beat for the Intercontinental title all those years ago. Someone with a McMahon backing him up and...

Drew McIntyre: Unlike you, I don't need anyone backing me up!

Drew is right in Kofi's face as Big E and Xavier Woods look ready to step in to protect their friends. Drew tosses the microphone ready to fight all 3 at once but before that can happen...

*HERE COMES THE MONEY*

Shane McMahon makes his way out as Drew rolls his eyes as his boss and ally in the Corporation is followed by the other two members Baron Corbin and Elias. The New Day though smartly keep an eye on not just Drew but the rest of the Corporation, wary about a pincer attack.

Shane McMahon: Drew, Drew we discussed this during the week. Making sure the WWE title match at Summerslam goes ahead as advertised for Summerslam is what's best for business. So no Kofi and you are not going to fight tonight.

Drew and Kofi look angry as both men stare each other down. Drew looks to grab a microphone which prompts Shane to put his hand out looking to calm him down.

Shane McMahon: Now calm down Drew I'm going to give you a match just like I have given Roman Reigns a match in the main event against Elias!

Elias: But don't worry Drew I will let you write Reigns's final song at Summerslam.

Boos from the crowd as both Kofi and Drew look unimpressed for different reasons.

Shane McMahon: However right now Drew you can take on Xavier Woods from the New Day. Let's get a referee out here right now!

Cheers from the crowd happy to see the match as Kofi and Big E wish their boy good luck heading to the outside. We see Elias and Baron Corbin coming down the ramp but Drew leans on the ropes.

Drew McIntyre: No no you two can leave. I will do this alone. I don't want any of you out here!

Baron Corbin and Elias try to argue mentioning Kofi and Big E will be at ringside but Shane tells them to do what Drew says as they head to back whilst the show heads to a commercial break.

Match 1: Drew McIntyre vs Xavier Woods w/The New Day

Match summary: When we return from the commercial break, the match is underway with Drew McIntyre in control against one-third of the New Day. With Xavier in the ring, Big E takes on the role of cheerleader for his friend but Kofi cheers him on as well. Drew though is in control for the majority of the match, using his devastating power to toss the smaller superstar around the ring!

Xavier though doesn't go down without a fight and gets a few hope spots in stunning the sinister Scotsman throughout the match. But as the match goes on it feels like he is trying to fight against the inevitable. Xavier Woods climbs to the top rope and flies off but Drew McIntyre catches him with a MID-AIR CLAYMORE WIPING OUT XAVIER WOODS AND TAKING HIS HEAD OFF! Drew McIntyre makes the cover as Kofi looks on 1 2 3 Drew McIntyre wins.

Winner via pinfall: Drew McIntyre (9:39)

Drew McIntyre gets to his feet as the crowd boo the sinister Scotsman though there are a few cheers due to the impressive finish to the match. Woods is still down in the ring as Drew McIntyre turns back around as it looks like he is going to attack him. Kofi though reacts quickly as he slides into the ring, standing between Drew McIntyre and Xavier Woods as he looks to defend his friend. Drew McIntyre shakes his head and leaves the ring as Big E now slides in as well looking to check on Xavier Woods and make sure his best friend is OK. Drew McIntyre however as he is walking up the ramp tells Kofi in the ring to ask Xavier what he is in for at Summerslam. Drew does the belt signal around his waist as he walks up the ramp backwards. Kofi doesn't look impressed as he tells Drew he has no intention of letting this belt go.

However, as Drew gets to the top of the entrance ramp you can hear the crowd cheer loudly as Roman Reigns appears behind Drew McIntyre. The sinister Scotsman turns around and eats a SUPERMAN PUNCH to the face knocking him out to cheers from the live crowd! Roman Reigns stands over Drew McIntyre and trash talks the Scotsman before walking off not even acknowledging The New Day in the ring. The commentary team especially Corey Graves takes note of it and wonders if Roman is too focused on Drew McIntyre ahead of the WWE title triple threat match. In the ring, Xavier Woods is starting to come to after the claymore, as Big E carries on checking on him. Kofi makes sure his friend is OK before telling them he is heading backstage. Both Big E and Xavier look confused as Kofi walks off with the show going to an ad break.

When we return from the commercial break, we see Roman Reigns making his way through a backstage hallway as he can be seen stroking his hand. The WWE champion Kofi Kingston suddenly walks up behind him and looks to get his attention.

Kofi Kingston: Yo Roman, Roman!

Roman Reigns pauses upon hearing Kofi Kingston and turns around.

Kofi Kingston: What was that about? Why did you wait until he wrestled my best friend to cheap shot him?

Roman just smirks.

Roman Reigns: I'm a busy man with a family. I got to the show late and by the time I got here, he was already wrestling Woods. Now if you'll excuse me I have a main event to prepare for.

Roman goes to leave but Kofi puts his arm out stopping Reigns from leaving.

Kofi Kingston: I'll make this clear Roman. You may think the WWE title match is just a battle between you and Drew but I promise I will show you why overlooking me is a massive mistake if you two keep treating me like a third wheel.

Roman Reigns gets in Kofi's face as the two men stare each other down.

Roman Reigns: Trust me, I ain't overlooking anyone. Believe dat.

Roman barges past Kofi and walks off elsewhere as we see Big E and Xavier Woods make their way down the hallway joining their best friend. Reigns doesn't even acknowledge them as he storms off. Kofi high fives Big E and Xavier Woods as he shakes his head clearly annoyed with Reigns and his attitude.

We then cut to a locker room backstage as Sarah Logan is getting ready for her match later on tonight against Isla Dawn. Ruby Riott is sat down listening to music as the door opens and we see Liv Morgan come into the room looking a little nervous. She is holding a couple of coffees looking to give them to her teammates. Sarah Logan looks at her and takes one before carrying on her work out. Ruby meanwhile looks angry and takes hers before sitting back down. Liv can sense the mood is tense so she tries to break the tension.

Liv Morgan: Listen, I know I lost last week and I'm sorry for losing but...

Ruby Riott pulls her headphones out and gets to her feet, pointing at Liv Morgan.

Ruby Riott: But what?

Liv Morgan: Um um Sarah is uh going to win tonight

Liv Morgan is a little worried as Sarah Logan looks over and nods before getting back to her work out. Ruby though hasn't taken her eyes off Liv Morgan.

Ruby Riott: You better be sorry. For too long, we have been accepting our failures. We need to start winning and actually causing a riot. Tonight Sarah will show you how to get the job done. You better pay attention.

Ruby Riott makes her way back over to the bench and goes back to her music as the camera focuses on a nervous Liv Morgan. The camera then cuts to a hallway as we can see Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon who are making their way to the ring! The commentary team mentions that up next we are going to see Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon in tag team action and not to go anywhere.

As we return from the commercial break we see Aliyah and Vanessa Bourne from NXT stood in the ring. Corey Graves on commentary mentions this is a big opportunity for the pair and a win over Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon might put them in line for a future Women's tag team title shot.

*SPITEFUL*
*FREE THE FLAME*

Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon make their way out getting a good reaction from the live crowd. The commentary team mention that Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon themselves requested a tag team match as they look to get themselves back into contention for the tag team titles, especially now Fire and Desire are the new tag team champions. Ember Moon steps into the ring looking to start for their team whilst Aliyah starts for her team.

Match 2: Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon vs Aliyah and Vanessa Bourne

Match summary: This isn't a squash match but there is never any doubt in who is going to win it. Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon start to show their growing unity as a pairing and control the majority of the match. Aliyah and Vanessa get a few shots in but in the end Ember Moon hits Aliyah with the Eclipse giving the team the win.

Winner via pinfall: Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon (4:27)

Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss after the match start to celebrate, happy with the victory tonight. The commentary team mention this is a good win for the pair but as they are celebrating we see Charlotte Flair running down the ramp holding a steel chair. Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss however have no idea what is going on as the pair are still celebrating their victory as Alexa Bliss gets taken out with a shot to the back!

Ember Moon turns around upon hearing the chair shot and goes for Charlotte but the queen catches her in the gut with the steel chair before whacking her in the back. Charlotte then tosses the chair onto the mat as she catches a rising Alexa Bliss and hits her with
NATURAL SELECTION! Charlotte looks happy with her handiwork as she slides out of the ring and grabs a microphone from the timekeeper's area!

Charlotte: Maybe now you two will bow down to the Queen!

Charlotte turns back to the timekeeper and pushes the microphone into his chest before storming off as we can see Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss struggling in the ring after Charlotte's attack. Charlotte Flair meanwhile has an evil smile on her face having sent a message loud and clear to the rest of the Smackdown Live Women's division. We then cut backstage as The Miz is walking through the back in a suit and he is wearing a pair of sunglasses as Cathy Kelly approaches him.

Cathy Kelly: Miz, can I ask you a quick question?

The Miz stops what he is doing as he lifts his sunglasses up and looks at Cathy.

The Miz: Of course you can Cathy. A star is always ready to be asked questions.

Cathy Kelly: Last week you were able to pick up the win against the Corporation. Now does that mean you are done with the Corporation?

The Miz: Cathy, getting a win was nice but until Shane McMahon is gone or I get the chance to get my hands on him for what he did to my father, I won't rest. Now I know Drew McIntyre is busy fighting for the WWE title and Shane McMahon is hiding behind his title as Smackdown Live commissioner but that leaves us with Elias and Baron Corbin.

Cathy Kelly: Are you playing on taking on both men at the same time?

The Miz: If I can help it, Cathy, I would fight them separately but I know both men. Heck I used to be like both men and I know that they won't fight me without the other. But I made a promise to be a better man for my wife and for my children. And that starts with sticking to my word and going through each of the Corporation one by one.

As he says that Baron Corbin walks into the shot.

Baron Corbin (sarcastically): Aw that's adorable Miz. You made a promise to your children.

The Miz gets ready for a fight as he steps forward but Corbin just has a shit-eating grin on his face.

Baron Corbin: But since I'm such a kind man how about Elias gives you a bedtime song just for your kids!

The Miz punches Corbin in the face! Corbin stumbles back but before The Miz can get a few more shots in, Elias smashes him in the back with his guitar! The Miz drops to his knees as Elias lets out a smug smirk. Corbin meanwhile gets back to his feet as he rubs his jaw before putting the boots to The Miz. Elias joins in now as well and it turns into a one-sided beatdown of the A-lister with both men battering him.

Elias then drags The Miz off the floor and hits him with the Drift Away on the concrete floor! You would think the pair would leave it there but they want to make a statement! Baron Corbin grabs hold of The Miz and hits him with the End of Days slamming poor Miz to the ground. Both men start to laugh and leave as The Miz is now out cold on the floor. We then cut to the ring being set up as the commentary team tells us after the commercial break will get the King’s Court!

*THE GREAT GATES OF KIEV*

A loud pop from the live crowd as we return from the commercial break, as Jerry the King Lawler makes his way out in his full king regalia. He takes his time walking to the ring as he soaks in the cheers from the live crowd before stepping inside the ropes and taking a seat. The crowd carries on their support with a few “Thank you Jerry” chants before dying down a little.

Jerry Lawler: It always feels good to be back home.

A cheap pop that brings a smile to the legend's face.

Jerry Lawler: But I had to come back because tonight we have a special edition of the King's court right here in Memphis!

Jerry carries on getting the loud cheap pops.

Jerry Lawler: So let's get it started by welcoming the Empress of tomorrow and the challenger for the Smackdown Women's title, Asuka!

*THE FUTURE*

A loud reaction as the Empress of Tomorrow Asuka makes her way out to the ring, looking focused. Corey Graves on commentary puts over how much this rematch at Summerslam will mean to not only Asuka but Becky as both women will want to break the deadlock between them. Asuka steps into the ring and shakes Jerry Lawler's hand before taking a seat on one of the chairs.

Jerry Lawler: Asuka I must say it is good to be in the presence of fellow royalty.

A few laughs at the cringey attempt at a joke by Jerry as Asuka politely smiles.

Jerry Lawler: And would you welcome my second guest The Man Becky Lynch!

*CELTIC INVASION*

And once again getting the pop of the night, Becky Lynch makes her way out with both her title belts on her shoulders soaking in the applause from the crowd. The crowd even start up a few “Becky2belts” chants which The Man enjoys as she steps into the ring and sits across from Asuka.

Jerry Lawler: Thanks for coming Becky.

Becky Lynch: The Man is just happy she can focus on her real challengers and not someone who thinks they are a boss!

Cheers from the crowd getting a few ooooh's as Asuka lets out a slight cocky smile.

Asuka: Do you think you're ready?

Becky smirks as Jerry looks wary thinking a fight might break out between the pair.

Jerry Lawler: Now ladies, I know you are itching to get your hands on each other but let's keep order in the court.

Becky rolls her eyes at that joke.

Asuka: Becky seems to have had her focus elsewhere. I'm surprised she even came to see Asuka.

Becky Lynch: You think I've forgotten about you? Asuka you're the one superstar I could never forget!

Cheers from the crowd as Becky Lynch looks to carry on.

Becky Lynch: The thing about being a double champion is you're always going to have multiple people gunning for you but I will always be focused on you! You're the one person to beat The Man.

Asuka nods as Becky looks to carry on.

Becky Lynch: But I showed at Money in the Bank that the Man is now ready for Asuka.

Asuka's smile fades and Becky notices.

Becky Lynch: The Man sees something she has never seen in the eyes of Asuka before. Fear. Fear because you now know I can beat you.

Asuka steps forward as Jerry Lawler gets up to make sure a fight doesn't break out. Becky though doesn't back down!

Becky Lynch: You know that I'm...

Asuka: I WILL BEAT YOU AT SUMMERSLAM!

Asuka looks angry as Jerry Lawler is still trying to keep things under control however Asuka and Becky Lynch refuses to back down.

Asuka: I beat Charlotte and now I will beat you!

Becky Lynch: Well done on beating Charlotte, I spent the whole of last year doing that!

The tension could be cut with a knife with the crowd cheering both women on as this music hits...

*FEMME FATALE*

Loud boos from the crowd as the Iiconics make their way out to the ring with microphones in their hands. Both Becky and Asuka turn to the entrance ramp as the Iiconics start to walk down the entrance ramp.

Peyton Royce: This is a bloody disgrace!

Billie Kay: A disgrace!

Peyton Royce: Everyone is focusing on these two when they should be focusing on us!

Billie Kay: I know and us having to come to this god awful city.

Cheap heat and Jerry takes offense to that line.

Jerry Lawler: Now ladies I will stand for a lot of things but no one is going to disrespect Memphis in the King's Court!

Cheap pop as the King of Memphis makes his feelings clear. However, the Iiconics don't care.

Peyton Royce: Sorry who do you think you are? Who made you king?

Billie Kay: Yeah we certainly didn't vote for you.

Becky rolls her eyes at the stupidity of these two as they carry on talking and step into the ring. Asuka though is clearly running out of patience.

Peyton Royce: I mean nobody wants to listen to the Burger King!

Nuclear heat from the Memphis crowd for that jibe as Billie Kay starts laughing and acting like that was the funniest line anyone ever said.

Billie Kay: You're so right Peyton.

Becky Lynch: Are you two done? Or is the Man going to have slap both you dopes around?

Cheers from the crowd as both the Iiconics fake horror and hold their hands over their mouth but they then resume talking.

Peyton Royce: Becky that is no way to speak to former Women's tag team...

Asuka kicks Peyton Royce in the head! Peyton falls to the mat like a sack of spuds. Billie Kay looks furious and charges at Asuka but the Man Becky Lynch grabs hold of her and connects with MAN DOWN! Both the Iiconics lie on the mat as the crowd let out a loud pop, happy to have the Iiconic's mouth shut for now at least. Both Asuka and Becky Lynch then turn to face each other as Jerry Lawler looks to speak.

Jerry Lawler: Well Memphis let's hear it for Becky Lynch and Asuka!

The crowd let out a loud pop as the two rivals stare each other down, one week away from colliding once again at Summerslam!

*FIGHT*

As we return from the commercial break, we see Kevin Owens making his way to the ring followed by his best friend Sami Zayn. The crowd cheers the pair on as Kevin Owens gets ready to take on Bray Wyatt tonight. Corey Graves on commentary wonders if this is a good idea for Kevin Owens, taking on the former WWE champion and a known madman just one week away from Summerslam. Byron Saxton, however, counters saying Kevin Owens is always ready to fight, and tonight for him is about putting a seed of doubt in the War Raiders minds.

*LIVE IN FEAR*

Bray Wyatt makes his way out with as he leads the way. The War Raiders stand behind their leader with a mean and angry look on their face as they march down the ramp. Bray is smiling as he steps inside the ring with Kevin Owens leaning on the ropes as Sami Zayn says a few words to his best friend. Once inside the referee calls for the bell getting this match underway!

Match 3: Kevin Owens w/Sami Zayn vs Bray Wyatt w/The War Raiders

Match summary: This match is a brawl with both men spending a lot of the match throwing punches at one another as they try to beat the hell out of their opponent. Sami throughout the match offers support to his best friend whilst The War Raiders just stand on the outside silent and imposing watching as their leader does battle. In the closing stages of the match, Bray Wyatt is in control and looks like winning as he looks to go for Sister Abigail! However, Kevin Owens escapes and hits Bray Wyatt with the STUNNER! Kevin Owens makes the cover and picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Kevin Owens (8:10)

Kevin Owens gets to his feet, looking relieved to have just about picked up the win tonight against Bray Wyatt. However, before he can celebrate The War Raiders charge into the ring and look to get their hands on him but Sami Zayn smartly helps his friend out of the ring as they both smile. Bray Wyatt is starting to come to and he looks furious as The War Raiders lean over the ropes and promise to destroy Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. However, Owens and Zayn for at least tonight have gained the upper hand as Bray Wyatt looks furious.

When we return from the commercial break we see Cedric Alexander walking through the back having been working out in the gym. He is a little sweaty and has a towel over his neck as Kayla Braxton approaches him.

Kayla Braxton: Cedric, the last two weeks you have managed to pick up two wins in a row. Do you feel like you are starting to settle in on Smackdown Live?

Cedric Alexander: You could say that. It feels good to start racking up the wins on Smackdown after a rough start. But if I can keep the run of form going maybe I can get myself a shot at the Intercontinental title.

As Cedric Alexander is saying that we see the Maharajah Jinder Mahal walk into the shot as he looks at Cedric with disgust.

Jinder Mahal: If anyone should be getting a shot at the Intercontinental title it is me. I have been picking up wins myself and I'm a former WWE champion.

Cedric Alexander: Which people are still trying to forget.

Cedric smirks at his line and walks off past Jinder who looks furious at the disrespect that Cedric Alexander has just shown him.

Jinder Mahal: I'll show him why disrespecting me is a massive mistake.

Jinder Mahal storms off as we cut back to the ring. Corey Graves on commentary sides with Jinder Mahal as he feels a former WWE champion should be shown more respect especially by an up and comer like Cedric Alexander.

*FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES*

Daniel Bryan's music hits as he makes his way out getting boos from the live crowd as he walks to the ring joined by his fellow eco-warrior Erick Rowan. Corey Graves uses his comments about Jinder Mahal to segway into Daniel Bryan as he feels he is also being disrespected by Ricochet. Corey says Ricochet shouldn't be getting time to speak but Bryan should as he has an important message for the people. Byron however, comments people might be sick of Bryan's preaching. Daniel Bryan with the Hemp WWE title around his waist like always is now stood in the ring with a microphone as he gets ready to address the live crowd.

Daniel Bryan: You people think I have come out here to talk about my opponent at Summerslam Ricochet.

Cheers from the live crowd for the popular superstar.

Daniel Bryan: You think I'm going to talk about how quickly he made an impact in NXT and became North American champion. Or maybe you think I will talk about how he rocketed onto the scene as he teamed with his friend Aleister Black!

Few more cheers from the crowd as Daniel Bryan shakes his head.

Daniel Bryan: Or maybe you think I will talk about his athletic ability and the fact he can do things no one else can do!

Cheers from the crowd as Bryon Saxton reminds us of Ricochet leap in front of Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan last week.

Daniel Bryan: No because I'm here to talk about the important things like the damage people like you are doing to the environment!

Boos from the crowd not ready to listen to Daniel Bryan preaching.

Daniel Bryan: You people don't want to hear it but you need to start taking the damage you are doing to the environment seriously! And I already know how to handle Ricochet so I am going to make sure you people understand the impact of your actions. So...

*CATCH YOUR BREATH*

A loud pop from the live crowd as Finn Balor makes his way out. Erick Rowan and Daniel Bryan both smile as they look at Finn Balor.

Daniel Bryan: Finn you don't have to thank me for my help two weeks ago. I was...

Finn Balor: Oh you're right I don't have to thank you and I have no intention of thanking you!

Daniel Bryan looks a little shocked as the number one contender to the Intercontinental title steps into the ring.

Finn Balor: I didn't need you getting involved in my matches nor did I want you to get involved. See I wanted a fair fight with Ricochet and you cost me that.

Daniel Bryan looks furious.

Daniel Bryan: You are ungrateful and fickle. I did you a favor and this is how you act?

Finn Balor: I didn't ask you to get involved nor would I ever. And quite frankly these people don't want to hear you preach to them.

Loud cheers from the crowd as Finn Balor carries on.

Finn Balor: I believe in helping the environment too but these fans don't want to hear you belittle them. See I believe in letting my actions do the talking for me.

Finn Balor then starts to take off his jacket and throws it down to the mat

Daniel Bryan: I didn't come out here for a fight Finn. I came out here to spread my message!

Erick Rowan steps forward towering over Finn Balor.

Daniel Bryan: And I will not be interrupted...

*ONE AND ONLY*

Daniel Bryan once again looks furious that he was interrupted once again as Ricochet makes his way out to the ring. He runs down the ramp before leaping into the ring standing side by side with Finn Balor as the high-flier looks to speak.

Ricochet: Listen homeboy, no one wants to hear you preach. These people come here to see us in action, not preaching. These people come here to escape their problems, not relieve them.

Cheers from the crowd as Daniel Bryan stares at the pair with him and Erick Rowan ready for a fight.

Daniel Bryan: You two need to be put in your place. You two seem to think you're bigger than the planet! You two...

Bryan stops talking and smiles as the crowd starts to boo. Both Ricochet and Finn Balor look confused as Daniel Bryan never shuts up.

Daniel Bryan: But maybe it won't just be me putting you two in your place!

As he says that Luke Harper the Intercontinental champion hits his challenger at Summerslam Finn Balor in the face with a big boot! Daniel Bryan lets out a smirk as Erick Rowan attacks Ricochet beating him down. Daniel Bryan tosses his microphone down to the mat as he looks to help his fellow eco-warrior beat down Ricochet in the corner of the ring! Finn Balor meanwhile tries his best to fight back against Luke Harper but the sneak attack allows Luke Harper to gain the upper hand.

Finn Balor though is able to counter a powerbomb attempt from Luke Harper with a slingblade dropping him! However, as he does that Bryan hits him with the running knee! Erick Rowan meanwhile grabs hold of Ricochet and locks in an iron claw on Ricochet squishing his head until he slams him down onto the mat! Luke Harper meanwhile gets to his feet as he lifts Finn Balor up and powerbombs him onto the mat! Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan raise their arms in the air as Luke Harper stands next to them staring at the prone bodies on the mat as the crowd boo all 3 men in the ring!

*INTRUDERS*

Isla Dawn and Nikki Cross make their way out to the ring as we return from the commercial break with only Isla Dawn dressed to compete tonight. The commentary team tells us as Isla Dawn is walking to the ring that Shane McMahon has made a tag team match for next week's show as the Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch and her challenger at Summerslam Asuka team up to face the former Women's tag team champions the Iiconics! Both members of the commentary team wonder if the pair will be able to co-exist 5 nights away from their title match at Summerslam!

*BLOOD WOLF*

Sarah Logan makes her way out to her rarely heard theme song as she will be competing in singles action tonight. She is joined by the rest of the Riott Squad as she walks to the ring but all is not well. Ruby is not even looking at Liv Morgan as she focuses on Sarah Logan who looks to do what Liv Morgan failed to do last week. Sarah Logan has a wild and angry look on her face as Nikki Cross on the outside gives her friend some encouragement. The referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 4: Sarah Logan w/Riott Squad vs Isla Dawn w/Nikki Cross

Match summary: Sarah Logan in a rare chance to impress shows off her ability in the ring and controls most of the match. Isla Dawn puts up a fight but the young fighter's kickboxing training and strikes are not enough to overcome Sarah Logan. Sarah Logan finishes off Isla Dawn by hitting a split-legged moonsault that the commentary team calls Mani for the clean win over Isla Dawn!

Winner via pinfall: Sarah Logan (6:45)

After the match, Nikki Cross immediately slides into the ring and looks to check on her friend. Meanwhile, Ruby Riott slides in and raises the hand of Sarah Logan into the air. Liv Morgan timidly slides in and tries to raise Logan's hand as well. However, as soon as Liv goes to grab Sarah Logan's arm, Sarah Logan snatches it away. Ruby berates her for trying to raise Logan's head which Liv nods accepting the anger from Ruby Riott and goes to the corner a little scared. Meanwhile, the Twisted Sisters head up the ramp disappointed that Isla Dawn picked up her first loss tonight. We then cut to a hallway as we then see the Big Dawg Roman Reigns is taping up his wrists as Corey Graves says after the commercial break we will see Roman Reigns take on Elias and for us not to go anywhere!

*DRIFT*

Elias starts to make his way down the ramp getting boos from the live crowd as he walks to the ring followed by Baron Corbin. Both men look smug as the commentary team notes that Drew McIntyre is not with them. Corey once again brings up Drew wanting to do things alone and maybe he wants to get his revenge on Roman Reigns on his terms! Both men stand in the ring as they wait for Roman Reigns to make his way out.

*THE TRUTH REIGNS*

Roman Reigns marches out to the ring with a focused look on his face. The crowd let out a massive pop but as he gets half-way down the ramp we see Drew McIntyre charge down the ramp and attacks Roman Reigns from behind! Boos from the crowd as the sinister Scotsman looks for revenge after Reigns attacked him earlier tonight. In the ring both Elias and Corbin look confused by what is happened as Drew sends Reigns into the steel steps causing Reigns's back to bounce off them! Drew McIntyre then grabs hold of Roman Reigns and rolls him into the ring as Elias and Baron Corbin start laying into Reigns with several boots and punches as it now turns into a 3 on 1 beatdown! Drew then shouts for Corbin and Elias to make themselves useful which annoys the pair. They, however, do what Drew asks and lift Reigns off the mat holding him still as Drew McIntyre gets ready to take his head off with the Claymore when...

*NEW DAY, NEW WAY*

Kofi Kingston leads the way and is soon followed by the rest of the New Day Big E and Xavier Woods as they sprint down the ramp and look to make the save for Roman Reigns even after the disagreement earlier tonight. Elias and Baron Corbin put down Roman as they get ready to fight the group. Kofi starts brawling with Drew McIntyre whilst Big E and Xavier Woods brawl with Elias and Baron Corbin! The brawl carries on for a while in the ring as Roman Reigns starts to recover from the attack he just sustained. However, as he gets to his feet he sees Drew McIntyre in control in his brawl with Kofi Kingston and gets ready to hit the spear! He charges but Elias sends Xavier Woods into the oncoming path and Reigns takes out Woods by mistake!

Big E meanwhile takes down Corbin and Elias before getting in Roman Reigns's face! Kofi who has gotten Drew McIntyre down on the mat tries to play peacemaker whilst Drew McIntyre slides out of the ring and grabs a chair from under the ring unknown to the 3 men. Reigns tells Big E, Woods would know if it was on purpose as Big E is annoyed his friend got caught in the crossfire trying to help Reigns. Kofi is still trying to cool the tension as Drew smashes him in the back with the steel chair! Kofi falls to the mat as Roman and Big E look to react but Corbin and Elias take them each down from behind!

Drew McIntyre lays into them with a chair before catching a rising Xavier Woods with it as well. Drew then sees Kofi Kingston on the mat and has an idea. He drags him over and grabs him by the jaw saying this will show I have forgotten you. He sends his head crashing into the steel chair with a future-shock DDT! Massive boos from the live crowd as Drew McIntyre gets to his feet with the Corporation members Elias and Baron Corbin stood behind him, with The New Day and Roman Reigns all down and out in the ring after their rampage tonight as the show fades to black!

Sheamus's injury worsens

Bad news for Sheamus as his issues with his back has taken a turn for the worse and he is now expected to be out for even longer than originally expected. This is a major setback for Sheamus who was expected to return to the ring soon as a face and enter into a feud with United States champion Samoa Joe.

Monday Night Raw:
August 5th:
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Monday Night Raw starts with the usual introduction before we cut to the commentary team of Michael Cole and Big Show who welcome us to the show. They hype up the show for tonight as they remind us of the following matches that have been announced:

Fandango vs Drake Maverick

Drew Gulak vs Ariya Davari

Karl Anderson vs Kalisto

Rey Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo vs Oney Lorcan and a partner of his choosing

Chad Gable vs Mojo Rawley

Andrade Cien Almas vs Jey Uso

AJ Styles vs Mustafa Ali

Michael Cole after running down the card says before all of that we are going to hear from our Universal champion 6 nights away from his title defense against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam!

*BURN IT DOWN/ SECOND COMING*

Seth Rollins makes his way out onto the entrance ramp soaking in the reaction from the live crowd as he walks to the ring and if it wasn't clear last week, it is clear now the injuries he had last week were a ruse to lull Brock Lesnar into a false sense of security. Seth Rollins has a big smile on his face as Big Show puts over the challenge he faces trying to defeat Brock Lesnar even at 100%.

Seth Rollins: Well it seems I have made a miraculous recovery!

Seth lets out a small chuckle with the crowd cheering him on as Seth smiles and starts to walk around the ring.

Seth Rollins: Brock you may have beaten the hell out of me a few weeks ago but there is a reason some people call me the Monday Night Messiah! I pull off miracles! I mean look at my recovery!

Seth carries on walking around the ring, as he looks to prove he is fully healed.

Seth Rollins: See I knew I had to get in Brock's head and get my revenge. I mean c'mon I'm the architect. I'm not stupid enough to fight you whilst injured unless this was on the line!

Seth lifts his Universal title in the air!

Seth Rollins: But don't worry Brock, I am 100% and at Summerslam, I will BURN IT...

Paul Heyman: OK Seth that's enough.

Boos from the crowd as Paul Heyman makes his way out onto the entrance ramp getting heat from the live crowd.

Paul Heyman: Being the man I am, I can't have you come out and lie to these people about what is going to happen at Summerslam.

Boos from the crowd as Paul Heyman walks down the ramp.

Paul Heyman: Because a man as smart as yourself can't think for a moment he is going to survive against Brock Lesnar!

Seth rolls his eyes as he looks to address Paul Heyman.

Seth Rollins: Where is Brock? Did I scare him off last week or is he too lazy to show up to work?

Cheers from the crowd as Paul Heyman lets out a laugh and carries on.

Paul Heyman: Brock Lesnar is not here tonight because he doesn't need to be.

Loud boos from the crowd which makes Paul Heyman shakes his head.

Paul Heyman: Brock right now will be on his farm preparing him to destroy you. Seth, you seem to have clung to this hope that a no holds barred match favors you.

Seth Rollins: I mean it does. It favors someone who can come up with numerous plans rather than rely on brute strength.

Paul Heyman: What you and a lot of others fail to consider is the fact Brock Lesnar can use all the weapons that you will able to. Think of all destruction Brock causes with just his bare hands! Have we seen Aleister Black since my client returned?

Seth Rollins looks angry as the crowd boo Paul Heyman for once again bringing up Brock Lesnar's attack on Aleister Black a few weeks ago.

Paul Heyman: Now imagine what would happen if Brock had the choice of any weapon that you could even think of. Imagine what he can do to you.

Seth pauses and acts like a lightbulb went off in his head.

Seth Rollins: You know what Heyman. You're right. Everyone knows you are a genius.

Paul Heyman: Why thank you Seth it is good you are seeing some sense...

Seth Rollins: And therefore I need to take care of you before Summerslam.

Heyman's face turns to pure fear as the crowd cheer on Seth and there are even a few “Burn it down” chants from the live crowd. Heyman starts to beg Seth off until...

*MAKING A DIFFERENCE*

A loud mixed reaction as some people expected Brock Lesnar to make his way out to save Paul Heyman but instead, Zelina Vega walks out with her two clients behind her. Andrade Cien Almas is shown holding his Money in the Bank briefcase as Seth stares him down from the ring ready for a cash-in. Paul Heyman being a weasel has slid out of the ring but still has a microphone in his hand as Zelina looks to speak.

Zelina Vega: It is a shame you two don't have your focus on the real threat, the man who holds all the power in his hand. Anytime he wants.

Andrade holds his Money in Bank briefcase in the air getting boos from the crowd as Seth Rollins responds.

Seth Rollins: Oh yes Money in the Bank. I'm familiar Zelina. Just ask Brock about that.

Cheers from the crowd as Michael Cole reminds us of the “heist of the century”. Paul Heyman meanwhile walks up the ramp and stands in front of Zelina Vega sticking out his hand.

Paul Heyman: Zelina I don't think we have been introduced. My name is Paul Heyman.

Zelina Vega looks at his hand and ignores it.

Zelina Vega: Don't worry Paul, Cesaro has told me all about you.

Heyman's face drops as Cesaro steps forward and for once has a microphone himself.

Cesaro: I must say it feels good to have a manager who focuses on more than one client. See I remember how much your bad management stunted my career Paul and now I have a manager and an ally who will allow me to flourish.

Paul Heyman puts his hand up.

Paul Heyman: Now Cesaro, listen...

Seth Rollins: Hey, hey I hate to break up this little therapy session but let me make one thing clear to all 4 of you! If you think taking this title is that easy why don't you cash that briefcase in and face me in this ring right now Andrade!

Cheers from the crowd hyped and wanting to see a Universal title match right now. Andrade, however, shakes his head.

Andrade Cien Almas: No no Seth, We do this on our terms as we are ungovernable!

Boos from the crowd disappointed as Seth Rollins shakes his head. Instead, Zelina Vega looks to speak.

Zelina Vega: My client Andrade already has a match scheduled for later on tonight with JeyUso so no I will not force my client to perform double duty tonight.

Seth in the ring smirks.

Seth Rollins: Well what about you Cesaro? Are you busy?

Cesaro turns to Zelina Vega who nods and the Swiss cyborg starts walking to the ring as he is followed by Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas. Meanwhile, Big Show on commentary informs us he is getting word from Paige the Raw commissioner backstage, that after a commercial break we are going to see the Universal Champion Seth Rollins take on Cesaro! We see a referee run out as Seth Rollins and Cesaro stare each other down in the ring as the show goes to an ad break!

Match 1: Seth Rollins vs Cesaro w/Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas

Match summary: When we return from the commercial break we see the match is underway with Seth Rollins and Cesaro locking up in the center of the ring. Both men seem evenly matched as we then hear Paul Heyman has taken a seat at the commentary desk. When Michael Cole and Big Show question why he is sat on commentary he explains that a good advocate always does research for their clients. Back at ringside, we can see Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas watching the match up close but both stay on the outside for now just watching the match unfold.

In the ring both Seth Rollins and Cesaro put on a masterpiece like you would expect as Paul Heyman puts both men over on commentary whilst putting Brock Lesnar over even more. He says there was a reason he wanted to be an advocate for Cesaro as he is someone who has inhuman strength but a true advocate is always going to focus on his crown jewel and for Heyman that is always going to be Brock Lesnar. Heyman then switches his attention to Seth Rollins and once again praises his in-ring ability and brains but tells us Brock will overpower Seth and take care of him no matter what plan Seth Rollins has this Sunday!

As we get towards the middle stages of the match Seth starts to struggle with the power Cesaro has, as the Swiss Superman starts to lay into him with a series of stiff uppercuts but also dominates him with several suplexes and power moves. Paul Heyman smiles on commentary and is clearly delighted. He gloats that whilst his client Brock Lesnar is on his farm training and working out, Seth Rollins is getting a beating from one of the best wrestlers in the world 6 nights away from his title match at Summerslam!

Andrade and Zelina Vega at ringside are enjoying this as the commentary team asks Heyman what he thinks about the possibility of Andrade cashing in his briefcase this Sunday, potentially cashing in on Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman responds to this statement by saying if Andrade did that, it would be the biggest mistake of his young career! Back in the ring Cesaro has Seth Rollins in the Cesaro swing and starts spinning Seth Rollins around!

Cesaro cranks his neck as Zelina tells him to finish this. He grabs Seth Rollins as he looks to go for the neaturaliser but Seth escapes! Seth quickly jumps to his feet as he connects with a slingblade! Seth grabs hold of Cesaro and connects with the ripcord knee! Cesaro is on wobbly legs as Seth drags him into the air and looks at Paul Heyman as he hits Cesaro with a buckle bomb! Andrade at this point climbs onto the ring apron as he looks to interfere but Seth knew this was coming and clocks Andrade with a superkick to the face!

However, this distraction allows Cesaro to recover and he catches Seth as he turns around with SWISS DEATH! Cesaro makes the cover 1 2 Rollins kicks out at 2.9! Cesaro responds to the kick-out by cranking his neck as he looks to finish thins. He drags Rollins up as he looks for the RICOLA BOMB but Rollins counters with a hurricanrana sending Cesaro into the ropes. Quick as a flash Seth responds to a rebounding Cesaro with a high knee! Seth then looks at Andrade and Zelina at ringside, who would grab his legs if he went for the curb stomp, so instead, he grabs hold of Cesaro and hits him with the PEDIGREE! Seth Rollins makes the cover 1 2 3! Seth Rollins picks up the hard-fought win!

Winner via pinfall: Seth Rollins (16:22)

Seth Rollins gets to his feet, taking his time after being pushed to the limit by the Swiss Superman tonight. Paul Heyman puts over Seth Rollins and Cesaro, telling the world that these two men are great but Brock Lesnar is a once in a lifetime athlete who will take back his property at Summerslam! Meanwhile on the outside we can see Andrade and Zelina talking to each other as Andrade Cien Almas passes the Money in the Bank Briefcase to Zelina Vega!

Seth Rollins turns around and sees Andrade Cien Almas staring him down in the ring. Seth Rollins however being the defiant babyface he is refuses to back down getting in Mr Money in the Bank's face. Paul Heyman once again says Andrade Cien Almas cashing in tonight would be a mistake as he will have to face off against an angry Brock Lesnar who was denied his revenge if he cashes in and wins tonight! However as the two men are staring each other down...

*DONE WITH THAT*

Jey Uso makes his way out getting a decent pop from the live crowd. He is also joined by his friends over the last few months Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins as the trio walk to the ring. Seth Rollins seeing this smirks and makes his way out of the ring as the commentary team tells us up next we will see Jey Uso taking on Andrade Cien Almas! Heyman asks the commentary team if they mind him sticking around to do a little more scouting which both men are fine with.

As Jey Uso slides into the ring, we cut to the commentary table as Seth Rollins has made his way over to it. Heyman noticeably has backed off a little bit as he is worried Seth is going to do something to him. Seth however just stands next to the commentary and tells Paul Heyman that he is keeping this title! Seth Rollins lifts the Universal title in the air as in the ring Andrade Cien Almas has his eyes on Seth before turning his attention to Jey Uso as we go to another commercial break.

Match 2: Andrade Cien Almas w/Cesaro and Zelina Vega vs Jey Uso w/Ryder and Hawkins

Match summary: When we return from the commercial break, the match is already underway with Andrade Cien Almas in control. At ringside Cesaro is starting to recover after his match with Seth Rollins as he and Zelina Vega cheers on Andrade. On the other side of the ring, we can see Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder giving their friend Jey Uso support. Jey Uso in the ring is struggling as Andrade lays into him with numerous hard kicks and strikes, battering the tag team specialist.

On commentary Paul Heyman puts over Andrade Cien Almas's aggression and gives credit to him for how much he is battering Jey Uso, reminding us how successful the Usos have been in the tag team division so they are no slouches in the ring. Big Show wonders why he is still out here but Heyman says as the advocate for Brock Lesnar, he knows the only way people think they can beat him is taking him by surprise and Zelina Vega's client might disappoint him with a foolish attempt to take the Universal title at Summerslam after Brock wins or during the match!

Back in the ring, Jey Uso is starting to make a comeback but Andrade cuts him off with a dropkick to the face. Andrade from there takes full control of the match as he sends Jey Uso into the corner of the ring as he clobbers him with the running double knee strike to the face! Jey Uso collapses down to the mat as Andrade makes the cover and picks up the dominant win!

Winner via pinfall: Andrade Cien Almas (8:32)

Andrade gets to his feet getting boos from the crowd for the vicious way he dispatched Jey Uso tonight. Zelina Vega then makes her way into the ring as he lifts her client's arm into the air. Paul Heyman at this point takes his headset off and applauds the pair in the ring. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins meanwhile slide into the ring as they look to check on their friend. Zelina Vega seeing this turns to Cesaro who is holding Andrade's Money in the Bank briefcase and gives him a nod. Cesaro slides into the ring and clocks Curt Hawkins in the back of the head with the briefcase! Zack Ryder turns around looking to fight Cesaro but Andrade clobbers him from behind!

Both men lay a beating on Ryder, Hawkins, and Jey Uso before standing tall over the 3 men. Cesaro makes sure to pass Andrade Cien Almas his briefcase as he, Cesaro, and Zelina Vega turn their attention to Paul Heyman stood at the top of the ramp as he sarcastically claps the trio from the top of the entrance ramp. The commentary team speculates whether Andrade will cash in during the Universal title match this Sunday at Summerslam on either Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, or both! We then cut to the backstage area as Charly Caruso is stood ready for an interview backstage.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guests at this time The Club!

All 3 men walk into the shot with the Raw tag team titles on Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows shoulders as they are lead by the Phenomenal AJ Styles.

Charly Caruso: Now we knew before tonight AJ Styles was going to be in action against Mustafa Ali but earlier today we learned Luke Gallows will be taking on Kalisto from the Lucha Dragons 6 days away from your clash at Summerslam for the Raw tag team titles. How are you guys feeling ahead of those matches tonight?

AJ Styles: Charly me and the boys are feeling confident as the Club are going to do what they do best and that is win!

Karl Anderson: AJ doesn't even need our support at ringside to beat Mustafa Ali and we won't need him at ringside for Luke to get the job done against the Lucha nerds!

Charly Caruso: Do you think you might be underestimating Kalisto? He is a former Cruiserweight and United States champion?

Luke Gallows: Underestimating him? Nah we are the Club. We are the Raw tag team champions for a reason.

AJ Styles: Exactly, we dominate everywhere we go and it doesn't matter how good Kalisto is because when it comes to us, he ain't on our level!

???: Do you hear that Montez?

We hear someone speaking off-camera. The camera pans around and we see it is the Street Profits who are holding their signature red cups.

AJ Styles: What do you two think you are doing interrupting our interview?

Montez Ford: Whoa AJ listen. We were just looking for the smoke and Angelo what do I see?

Montez turns to his friend Angelo Dawkins.

Montez Ford: Would you look at that?

Both men walk forward as they look at the Raw tag team titles on The Club's shoulders.

Montez Ford: They have what we want.

Angelo Dawkins: The smoke?

Montez Ford: And the titles.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson pull their title belts away from the pair.

Karl Anderson: You two are the new kids on the block right? Well, let us fill you in on how things work around here.

Luke Gallows: We run this show. So if you want to successful, I suggest you stay out of our way.

AJ Styles: Or else.

All 3 members of The Club walk off as they look to get ready for their matches later on tonight. However, both of the Street Profits smile as they look at each other.

Montez Ford: I think I found where the smoke is. And those titles even match our cups man.

Angelo can't help but smile at his friend as we cut to a hallway. We see Drake Maverick dressed to compete whilst EC3 is stood behind him in a fine suit. Michael Cole tells us after the commercial break we will see Fandango's return to the ring and advises us to not go anywhere.

*I'M THE MAN*

As we return from the commercial break, Drake Maverick makes his way out to the ring followed by EC3. The commentary team wonders how much of a chance Drake Maverick has in this match as he is mostly known for his time as a general manager but he looks surprisingly confident as he steps into the ring.

*CHA CHA LA LA*

A decent pop from the live crowd with a few fans joining in with the theme song and they start “Fandangoing” as he dances out to the ring. Tyler Breeze follows him out after a little while standing behind Fandango and recording his friend on his phone. EC3 and Drake Maverick both look unimpressed with the dancing skills of Fandango as he makes his way down the entrance ramp and climbs into the ring joining Drake Maverick. Tyler Breeze, however, makes Fandango stand in a certain light so he can get his best side.

Match 3: Fandango w/Tyler Breeze vs Drake Maverick w/EC3

Match summary: Drake Maverick tries to catch Fandango off-guard early on but Fandango is too good for him and controls the match. Drake does put up a fight and even does better then you would expect but he is no match for Fandango. EC3 at ringside tries to turn the tables for Drake but Tyler Breeze is ready for this and catches EC3 with the BEAUTY SHOT to stop him getting involved in the match! Fandango meanwhile climbs to the top rope and hits Drake Maverick with THE LAST DANCE for the win.

Winner via pinfall: Fandango (4:07)

Fandango gets to his feet, happy to have picked up a win in his return match tonight. Tyler Breeze joins him in the ring as the pair take a selfie next to the laid-out body of Drake Maverick. EC3 meanwhile retreats up the ramp holding his jaw looking angry as he promises the pair they will pay for this. The camera then cuts to a split-screen as we can see Goldberg and Matt Riddle getting miced-up as they get ready for the satellite interview that Renee Young will be conducting after the commercial break.

Ad break

When we return from the commercial break we can see Raw's lead backstage interviewer Renee Young stood in the ring with a microphone as she gets ready to interview Goldberg and Matt Riddle.

Renee Young: Pittsburgh thank you for welcoming me. Right now I'm about to interview two men who this Sunday will go head to head as Matt Riddle...

Loud cheers from the live crowd.

Renee Young: and Goldberg...

Goldberg also gets loud cheers from the crowd.

Renee Young: Now let me show everyone why we are conducting this interview via satellite as this is what happened the last time these two men were in the same ring.

We see clips of the mass brawl that took place 2 weeks ago on Monday Night Raw between the two men. After that finishes we cut back to the ring as Renee Young continues.

Renee Young: So now let's welcome our guests tonight.

Renee gestures towards the titantron as we get a split-screen showing both Goldberg and Matt Riddle getting loud cheers from the crowd. Goldberg is in a leather biker jacket and has a scowl on his face looking angry and intense as always. Matt Riddle meanwhile is in a yellow jacket with a baseball cap on his head looking chilled out and relaxed.

Renee Young: Thank you for agreeing to this interview guys.

Goldberg just nods.

Matt Riddle: Anytime Renee, anytime.

Goldberg looks unimpressed as Renee Young smiles.

Renee Young: My first question goes to Matt. Last week we saw your preparation for the match at Summerslam and you seemed pretty relaxed. Are you taking this match seriously?

Matt Riddle chuckles.

Matt Riddle: Listen Renee I'm always chilled out. But when I step into that ring, I get the job done. I have been preparing for this match my whole career. Changing my preparations now would be a terrible idea.

Goldberg: If you think you can prepare for me in the same way you would prepare for anyone else, you are clearly taking this lightly.

Matt Riddle: Oh really bro?

The tension is starting to grow already as Renee looks to keep the interview under control by moving to the next question.

Renee Young: Goldberg my next question goes to you. It could be said it's actually you not taking this match seriously especially after your comments about NXT...

Goldberg: What was wrong with my comments Renee? Why should I care about the minor leagues?

Boos from the crowd but Goldberg carries on.

Goldberg: I'm a superstar. Look at all the titles I've won. And yet I'm lowering myself to his level.

Matt Riddle: Lowering yourself? Bro you ain't on my level. I will wrestle rings round you at Summerslam!

Goldberg: You can try wrestling rings around me as I slam you to the ground and spear you out of your shoes.

Matt Riddle: Bro I wear sandals.

Goldberg shakes his head as he gets even angrier whilst Riddle lets out a cocky smirk.

Goldberg: Renee, there is no need for any more questions.

Renee looks a little confused.

Goldberg: Matt, I have said everything I need to say to you. You're just some loudmouth young...

Matt Riddle: Yeah I'm a loudmouth and I'm proud of it bro. I say whatever is on my mind. You're always going to get an honest answer out of me and bro at Summerslam I will back up everything I've said. Your power game works on most guys but me? I can handle all the power you throw at me. When I see you at Summerslam...

Goldberg: Kid all you're going to be is next!

Cheers from the crowd as Goldberg looks to get up but Riddle isn't done.

Matt Riddle: No Bill.

That gets Goldberg's attention.

Matt Riddle: At Summerslam, I end the myth that is Goldberg. And when it comes to stepping in that ring I won't be known as the guy whose next, I'll be known as the last person you ever faced BRO!

Matt Riddle takes off his microphone and leaves as the camera focuses on Goldberg who is staring at the camera before ripping his microphone off and before slamming the chair he is sat on to the floor as he leaves. The commentary team put over how much these two men dislike each other and wonders if the ring will be able to contain them at Summerslam?

Michael Cole then advises us of a video that was sent in earlier today by The Man Becky Lynch. The camera cuts to her on what seems to be a cellphone camera recording The Man. She has both her Raw and Smackdown Live titles on her shoulders as she looks to speak.

Becky Lynch: Now the Man has been getting a lot of questions about what she did last week. But last week was important in sending a message to Sasha. See she owed a debt after she cheap shotted me a few weeks ago but I was going to wait until she stepped up to collect that debt. But she choose to run her mouth. Over and over again. And there is only so much disrespect I'm going to tolerate. You keep calling me out, well The Man will then come around!

Becky smiles slightly before looking at the camera.

Becky Lynch: Do you know why I didn't cost you the titles as soon as that bell rang Sasha? Because your best friend is someone I actually respect. Bayley, I didn't want to cost you those tag team titles but like me in the past, you need to choose better friends.

Becky Lynch then grabs the Raw Women's title and lifts it into the air.

Becky Lynch: But if you have a problem with that, well I ain't hard to find.

Becky Lynch places her Raw Women's title back on her shoulder and ends the video having sent a challenge to Bayley ahead of their clash at Summerslam.

*FEARLESS WARRIOR*

When we return from the commercial break, we hear the music for Kalisto as he walks to the ring followed by his tag team partner Sin Cara as the pair walk to the ring. Big Show reminds us these two have been tag team champions in NXT but have not been able to become tag team champions on either Raw or Smackdown since leaving NXT.

*OMEN IN THE SKY*

All three members of the Club make their way out to the top of the entrance ramp as they all too sweet each other. AJ though heads to the back, as he looks to prepare for his clash later on tonight with Mustafa Ali. Luke Gallows looks confident ahead of his match with Kalisto here as he steps into the ring and towers over the Cruiserweight as the referee calls for the bell.

Match 4: Luke Gallows w/Karl Anderson vs Kalisto w/Sin Cara

Match summary: Luke Gallows being the larger competitor controls the match using his power but Kalisto proves to be no slouch in the ring and keeps up with Luke Gallows thanks to his speed and Lucha skills. Luke Gallows as the match is going on starts to get frustrated and annoyed because he can't put the Cruiserweight away. Luke Gallows as the match comes to a close looks to lift Kalisto into the air for a powerbomb but Kalisto reverses it into a roll-up! 1 2 3 Kalisto picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: Kalisto (6:48)

As soon as the bell rings Kalisto releases the hold and joins his friend Sin Cara on the outside as they look to celebrate. Luke Gallows is joined in the ring by Karl Anderson as both men argue with the referee about the count but the referee insists it was a three count. The Lucha Dragons are now at the top of the entrance ramp as they look at The Club in the ring and signals the belts are coming to them this Sunday as The Club look on furious. We then cut elsewhere backstage as we can see Charly Caruso is stood ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Would you please welcome my guests at this time and former two-time Women's tag team champions the Boss 'n' Hug Connection Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Both women walk into the shot with Bayley looking annoyed whilst Sasha Banks looks furious.

Charly Caruso: Last week you lost your tag team titles due to The Man Becky Lynch getting involved. However, Becky Lynch has made it clear that she only did it due to your actions Sasha. How do...

Sasha snatches the microphone from Charly.

Sasha Banks: My fault? She wants to make false accusations about me attacking my best friend before costing us the tag team titles and she wants to blame me!

Charly Caruso: Well it could be argued you were mocking her throughout the match.

Sasha Banks gives Charly a death glare. Bayley looks to take over.

Bayley: Listen Sasha actions certainly didn't help.

Sasha gives Bayley a look but the number one contender to the Raw Women's title carries on.

Bayley: But you had no reason to cost me the tag team titles, Becky. You talk about respect but it seems like you forget about me and are more focused on my best friend. So tonight Becky we will see you in that ring.

Bayley walks off looking focused and angry as Sasha Banks pushes the microphone into Charly's chest surprising the backstage interviewer as she joins her tag team partner in walking off.

*BOOYAKA 619*

A loud pop from the live crowd as we return to the show, as the Cruiserweight champion Rey Mysterio makes his way out to the ring. He does his usual mask touch with a few kids in the front row as he makes his way to the ring as the commentary team speculates who Oney Lorcan will be teaming with tonight.

*DALE GAS*

A smaller reaction from the live crowd but it is still a positive one as the young Humberto Carrillo makes his way down the ramp and joins Rey Mysterio as the pair head into the ring ahead of this tag team match. Michael Cole puts this over a big opportunity for the young kid and teaming with a legend like Rey will give him some good experience for the future.

*COMBATIVE*

Oney Lorcan makes his way out next in an angry mood (because he is Oney Lorcan) and has a microphone in hand as he looks to address his two opponents tonight.

Oney Lorcan: Now people have been asking me all week who I would pick to be my tag team partner tonight. Well, there was only one person I would pick.

Simple and to the point in true Oney Lorcan fashion as he sticks his finger in the air.

Oney Lorcan: And his name is Danny Burch!

Danny Burch makes his way out not getting much reaction from the live crowd but a few cheers with some people remembering him from his days on NXT as a tag team partner of Oney Lorcan. Michael Cole fills us in on Danny Burch informing us he is from London England and is known for being a brawler who has had many fights on the streets of London after soccer matches. Danny Burch steps into the ring starting for his team as Humberto Carrillo starts for his team.

Match 5: Rey Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo vs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch

Match summary: Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan dominate the match thanks not only to their hard strikes and punches but also due to their chemistry as a long time tag team. Humberto and Rey Mysterio are not squashed however and put up a fight with Rey Mysterio getting the hot tag and looking like he might win the match for his team. However, Danny Burch survives a close scare thanks to Oney Lorcan breaking a cover after a 619 from Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio at this point gets Oney Lorcan out of the ring as he makes his way over to his corner of the ring and tags in Humberto Carrillo. Humberto Carrillo climbs to the top rope and looks to go for the Rounding Moonsault but Danny Burch gets the knees up! Rey Mysterio looks to follow up on Danny but he catches him with a punch as Oney Lorcan follows up and plants Rey Mysterio with the half and half suplex! With Rey Mysterio taken care of, Danny Burch hits Humberto with a powerbomb. He then signals to Oney who climbs to the top rope as Danny lifts Humberto into an electric chair position. Oney flies off and hits a diving European uppercut wiping out Humberto Carrillo! Danny Burch makes the cover 1 2 3 Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan pick up the win!

Winners via pinfall: Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch (9:55)

Rey Mysterio is only just coming to after the match as the One Twos stand tall in the ring celebrating the victory tonight as the commentary team put over the fact it was a successful debut tonight for Danny Burch and maybe a sign of things to come this Sunday for Oney Lorcan. Oney Lorcan though isn't done as they see Rey Mysterio on the outside and both men take him out!

They both grab hold of the champion before planting him with an Assisted spike DDT on the ring floor. Both men look at each other with neither man smiling as Oney Lorcan makes his way to the timekeeper's area and grabs hold of the Cruiserweight title, yanking it away from the timekeeper! Oney Lorcan turns around and lifts the title belt into the air as Danny Burch points towards the title and signals the belt is coming to his friend and tag team partner this Sunday.

When we return from the commercial break, we cut to what looks like a bar as Noam Dar has a bottle of beer in his hand.

Noam Dar: Now some of you daftys are going to ask why I'm not at Raw this week.

Dar takes a sip from his beer before carrying on.

Noam Dar: Because for some reason I don't have a match this week. What kind of dafty leaves a star, nah a supernova like me off not only Raw but Summerslam as well?

Noam Dar shakes his head.

Noam Dar: But it is fine because I'm a young superstar with my whole future ahead of me. And that means I have plenty of time before I get what should be mine.

Noam Dar finishes his beer before turning back to the camera.

Noam Dar: And it doesn't matter who wins at Summerslam whether it is Rey Mysterio or Oney Lorcan, because the Scottish Supernova is coming for the Cruiserweight title.

We then see a few ladies in nice outfits walk into the shot.

Noam Dar: Well hello ladies, let's go somewhere a bit quieter.

The young cocky superstar heads elsewhere joined by the young ladies as we cut back to the commentary team who give us a quick run-down of the Summerslam card and also mention what Noam Dar just had to say about the Cruiserweight title.

*BRAUN/ I AM STRONGER*

A decent-sized pop from the live crowd as Braun Strowman walks down the ramp. The commentary team reminds us that this Sunday Braun Strowman will be taking on Samoa Joe for the United States title. He steps into the ring as he asks someone from ringside for a microphone as he looks to address the United States champion.

Braun Strowman: Samoa Joe had spent the last few weeks before I had appeared calling himself a monster. Well, that was until I came after for him!

Cheers from the crowd as Braun carries on.

Braun Strowman: You might be strong but no one is stronger than me!

Braun lifts his arms into the air and shows off his size as he looks to carry on.

Braun Strowman: I'm a literally monster among men and I don't want to wait till this Sunday. So Samoa Joe come get these hands!

Loud cheers from the crowd as they wait for Samoa Joe to come out but instead this plays:

*REBELLION*

The Ascension make their way out to the ring getting boos from the crowd due to them interrupting Braun Strowman. And the monster among men does not look happy as they look to speak.

Viktor: Over the last two weeks you have made me and Konnor look like jokes.

Konnor: And we ain't going to stand for that, so right now you can forget about Samoa Joe because the Ascension are going to take you to the wasteland!

Konnor and Viktor drop their microphones keeping it short and sweet (thankfully) as they slide into the ring and attempt to double-team Braun Strowman! Both men lay into the Monster Among Men but it doesn't take Braun Strowman long to wipe both men out, destroying them with ease. He isn't done just fending them off as Braun Strowman lifts them both into the air at the same time and hits a DOUBLE RUNNING POWERSLAM!

Braun gets back to his feet as both members of the Ascension are laid out in the ring at his feet whilst the Monster Among Men stands tall and lets out a massive roar. However whilst he is distracted and posing for the fans we see the United States Champion Samoa Joe slide into the ring! He lines up Braun Strowman and catches the Monster Among Men by surprise with a title shot to the head with the United States title!

Boos reign down as Samoa Joe lets out a smirk as he looks at Braun who is staggered but still standing. Joe though doesn't panic and clobbers him again with the title staggering him some more. Braun is still on his feet but Joe drops the title and jumps on the Braun's back! Joe takes a moment as he locks in the Coquina Clutch on the Monster Among Men! Braun tries to get back to his feet but due to the damage done by Samoa Joe with the title belt, he can't manage it and starts to fade to the shock of the live crowd and the commentary team as well.

Samoa Joe keeps the hold locked in for a good few seconds after choking out Braun before letting go of the hold and leaving the monster among men out cold on the mat. Samoa Joe lets out a sinister smile as he makes his way over to the United States title and lifts into the air getting loud boos from the crowd having just choked Braun Strowman! We then cut to the backstage area as AJ Styles can be seen talking to his boys. He two sweets both of them as he heads to the ring. The commentary team let us know after the commercial break we will see AJ Styles take on Mustafa Ali!

*PHENOMENAL*

A mixed reaction from the live crowd as AJ Styles makes his way to the ring ahead of this match. The commentary team reminds us of what has happened over the last few weeks to build to this match with AJ Styles attacking Mustafa Ali after pinning him inside the Elimination Chamber. Mustafa Ali would get his revenge however and cost AJ Styles in his match against Curt Hawkins a few weeks ago. AJ Styles stands in the ring as the leader of The Club looks focused tonight.

*GO HARD*

Mustafa Ali makes his way out getting a very good reaction from the live crowd ahead of what could be the biggest match of his career tonight. Mustafa Ali sprints down the ramp joining AJ Styles in the ring as he jumps over the ropes and stares at AJ Styles as the two men eye each other up before the referee rings the bell getting this match underway.

Match 6: AJ Styles vs Mustafa Ali

Match summary: Both men start the match off slowly as Mustafa Ali doesn't go straight into his usual high-flying offense. Instead, both men spend the early stages of the match feeling each other out. AJ tries to go after the leg but Mustafa Ali has that plan scouted and keeps him at bay. He nearly picks up the win catching AJ off guard with a roll-up but AJ kicks out at 2.

AJ is starting to get annoyed with Mustafa Ali and after a period of control from Mustafa Ali, the Phenomenal one has to roll to the outside to get a breather. Mustafa Ali though sees this as the perfect time to step it up a gear as he runs off the ropes and wipes out AJ Styles with a SUICIDE DIVE! This gets loud cheers from the crowd as Ali wastes little time rolling AJ back into the ring as he climbs to the top rope and hits a frog splash! Ali makes the cover getting a close 2 count.

Ali starts to control the match laying into AJ with several kicks as the Phenomenal One is really starting to struggle. But as Ali is going for a superkick, AJ dodges and connects with a front chop block stopping Ali in his tracks. AJ then takes control of the match as he starts to work over the right leg of Mustafa Ali, not only looking to take away his high-flying offense but also set him up for the calf crusher.

Ali is in a lot of pain as AJ uses moves like the figure four leg lock and other submissions based around the leg as he slowly works over Mustafa Ali on the mat. Ali though refuses to give up and breaks out of the submissions each time. He also gets a few short flurries off but is noticeably struggling due to the damage done to his leg throughout the match.

But these flurries don't last long as AJ finds a way to cut him off each time and really starts to punish Mustafa Ali as we go past the 15-minute mark. Mustafa Ali gets desperate as we get towards the end of the match and rolls AJ up once again getting a close two count! AJ kicks out and looks to go back on the attack but Ali catches him with a tornado DDT! Ali makes the cover 1 2 AJ kicks out!

Mustafa Ali gets to his feet as he punches his right leg looking to get some feeling back into it as he rolls to the ropes and knows what he needs to do to end this match. He takes his time climbing to the top rope and this proves to be his downfall! AJ comes alive and sprints over to Ali hitting him with a chop block to the leg as he is on the top rope! Ali is wobbling on the top rope as AJ climbs up there with him before hitting an AVALANCHE FRONT SUPLEX! AJ takes a moment to make the cover 1 2 Mustafa Ali kicks out!

AJ is angry and argues with the referee saying it was a 3 count. However, AJ quickly goes back to work as he looks to pick up the win and knows the referee is not going to change his mind. He grabs the right leg of Mustafa Ali and locks in the CALF CRUSHER! Mustafa Ali is clearly in a lot of pain as AJ Styles has the lethal hold locked in tight. Mustafa Ali lifts his hand in the air... but he refuses to quit!

Mustafa Ali takes a moment before gritting his teeth and he claws to the ropes. AJ yanks the hold back as he tries to force Mustafa Ali to tap but he makes it to the ropes forcing AJ to let go of the hold! AJ lets go on the count of 3 as he can't believe that Mustafa Ali didn't tap. Mustafa Ali meanwhile struggles to his feet as he refuses to give in.

AJ looks in shock this young superstar is still fighting and takes him down with the Phenomenal Blitz finishing it off with a Pele kick to the head! He isn't done there as he grabs hold of Mustafa Ali lifting him into the air and hits him with the USHIGOROSHI! AJ makes the cover 1 2 Mustafa Ali still kicks out! AJ just cannot find a way to put away Mustafa Ali tonight!

AJ Styles shakes his head as he grabs Mustafa Ali by the face and tells him he will make him stay down before slamming the high-flier's head back onto the mat! AJ Styles gets to his feet as he looks to the top rope and lets out a cocky smile. He mocks Ali and makes a comment to Ali saying he will show him something truly Phenomenal! AJ starts to make his way to the top rope as he makes the climb slowly.

Once again as he stands on the top rope AJ makes sure to taunt the crowd before turning back around as Ali catches him with a kick to the head as he turns around! AJ Styles is perched on the top rope as Mustafa Ali takes a moment to sell the damage done to his leg so far. Ali though uses all of his strength to climb to the top rope as he starts laying into AJ Styles. Both men start fighting on the top rope with AJ looking like he is going to win as Ali counters a punch and hits a TOP ROPE SPANISH FLY! Both men lay on the mat for a moment as Ali crawls into the cover 1 2 … AJ kicks out!

The commentary team wonders if Ali was able to make the cover straight away would he have won the match? Mustafa Ali is clearly still struggling due to the damage done to his right leg throughout the match but he knows what he has to do, to win this match. Mustafa Ali makes his way to the top rope as he slowly makes the climb with AJ still down after the Spanish Fly. Mustafa Ali positions himself on the top rope as he flies off looking for the 054... but AJ gets his knees up just in time! AJ gets to his feet as he lifts Mustafa Ali up into the air and connects with the STYLES CLASH! AJ makes the cover 1 2 3! AJ Styles picks up the win!

Winner via pinfall: AJ Styles (20:38)

AJ Styles doesn't get us straight away, clearly exhausted from the war he had to go through tonight to defeat Mustafa Ali. The commentary team put over both men and say Mustafa Ali pushed AJ Styles to the limit tonight. The crowd is also giving both men loud cheers after the great match both men put on as AJ gets to his feet. The referee raises AJ's arm in the air as Mustafa Ali makes his way to one of the corners of the ring. As this is going on we see The Club members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows walking to the ring.

The good brothers step into the ring as they give their leader a too sweet to help celebrate his victory as the commentary team speculates what's next for AJ Styles after this match. Karl Anderson then sees Mustafa Ali in the corner of the ring and nods to Luke Gallows as they both have the same idea. They look to make their way towards Mustafa Ali but AJ puts his arms out stopping them surprising the pair.

AJ tells them to leave as AJ looks over at Mustafa Ali and he gives the heart of Monday Night Raw a respectful nod, acknowledging Ali pushed him to the limit tonight. This small show of respect leads to the crowd cheering AJ Styles as he leaves the ring. As AJ leaves the ring with The Club, Mustafa Ali slowly gets to his feet and soaks in the cheers from the crowd, still a little disappointed he was unable to beat AJ Styles after pushing him to the limit tonight.

When we return from the commercial break we can see Paige in her office on the phone to someone.

Paige: Yeah I know, what a match between AJ and Ali. Yeah Triple H I'm proud of both my superstars tonight.

As she is talking we see the door to her office as the NEW Women's tag team champions Fire and Desire walk into the room as they show off their title belts. Paige lets out a smile as she nods to her two former allies.

Paige: HHH I will call you back.

Paige hangs up the phone and places it in her pocket as she turns her attention to Fire and Desire who look the happiest they have looked in months.

Paige: Well girls I have to say congratulations. You're the new Women's tag team champions.

Mandy and Sonya both smile as they hug Paige.

Mandy Rose: Thanks Paige.

Sonya Deville: And we couldn't do it without you bringing us here.

Paige: Though the way you won I have to say...

Mandy Rose: Whoa, whoa that wasn't our fault.

Sonya Deville: You know what Becky is like. She does whatever she wants when she wants.

Mandy Rose: And the Boss 'n' Hug Connection had to cheat to beat us the first time so turnabout is fair play.

Paige: Well speaking of turnabout, I was on the phone earlier today to Shane McMahon about your first title defense...

Sonya Deville: So we are defending our belts on Smackdown?

Paige smiles.

Paige: Well I thought about that but then I spoke to William Regal...

Mandy Rose: Sonya we are returning to NXT!

Both girls look super excited as Paige lets out an almost evil smile.

Paige: Actually I had an even better idea and I decided you will be defending those titles on the Summerslam pre-show against Team Kick from NXT.

Sonya Deville: Well that is awesome Paige and they better square up when they step in the ring with us.

Mandy Rose: Bye Paige.

Paige: I wasn't done.

Both stop and turn around shocked.

Paige: Y'see whilst you will be defending those titles against Team Kick from NXT, you will also be defending them against the Real Horsewomen Jessamyn Duke and Marina Sharif. But not just those two teams.

Sonya and Mandy look like they are about to explode.

Paige: Because you'll be defending those titles in a fatal 4-way match and the last team will be decided on Smackdown Live as The Twisted Sisters take on the Riott Squad with the winner entering the match.

Sonya Deville: But we could lose these titles without being pinned?

Paige: Well maybe you'll learn to follow my rules instead of bending them, now are you absolutely sure you want to say anything else whilst you're stood in my house?

Both members of Fire and Desire look at each other before shaking their heads. They turn around and leave the room as Paige goes back to business having taught the Women's tag team champions a lesson. We then cut to Renee Young who is stood backstage ready for an interview.

Renee Young: Would you please welcome my guests at this time Rusev and Lana.

Rusev and Lana walks into the shot with Rusev having a serious look on his face as his wife stands next to him.

Renee Young: Last week Shinsuke Nakamura came out to the ring after your match but he walked away. Why do you think that is?

Rusev: Shinsuke walked away like the coward he is because he is scared.

Lana: Shinsuke knows Rusev will crush him when he gets his hands on him. Shinsuke never put the effort in that was needed to make the team work and my husband tried to carry him to victory.

Rusev: My back is sore from placing him on it from Rusev day to Rusev day to Rusev day. However now when I get the chance I will crush him.

Renee Young: My other question Rusev, what are your plans now you're without a tag team partner?

Rusev: Once I get my hands on Shinsuke, I plan to go after the United States title.

Lana: The belt he defended and made worth something.

Rusev: Since holding that belt I have grown an appreciating for this country and the chances it has given me. And to become a 4-time United States champion, what a glorious Rusev day that would be.

Rusev lets out a smile before turning to his wife Lana as they share a kiss. Rusev looks to walk off as Lana follows but Shinsuke comes out of nowhere and attacks Rusev from behind! Shinsuke starts laying into Rusev with a few kicks but Lana responds by taking her shoe off and hitting Shinsuke in the back of the head! Shinsuke looks angry as he gets to his feet and starts to tower over Lana, threatening her.

Rusev on the floor sees his wife in danger and hulks up attacking Shinsuke! He starts battering the hell out of the King of Strong Style for threatening his wife. Shinsuke in desperation, however, resorts to low blowing Rusev causing him to fall to the floor. Shinsuke lets out a troll-like smirk as he turns to Lana who is screaming at him but this time he wisely chooses to run away leaving a furious Rusev down on the floor as his wife checks on him.

As we return from the commercial break we can see Ariya Davari is already stood in the ring ready for a match on Monday Night Raw. The commentary team talk about what we have just seen and wonder what Rusev is going to do, to get his hands on Shinsuke Nakamura.

*FOR THE BETTER*

Drew Gulak makes his way out getting a super loud pop from the live crowd due to being in his home town and Drew Gulak plays up to it even though he normally plays the bad guy. He steps into the ring looking focused ahead of this match. Michael Cole on commentary mentions Drew Gulak being from Pittsburgh and this will be a massive opportunity for him to get a win in his home town.

Match 7: Drew Gulak vs Ariya Davari

Match summary: Davari doesn't get a single move off as Gulak picks him apart with ease, spurred on by the Pittsburgh crowd, and picks up the win in quick fashion with the gu-lock!

Winner via submission: Drew Gulak (1:45)

Drew lets go of the hold after the match as he soaks in the applause from the live crowd and even celebrates with a few fans. Big Show puts over Drew Gulak as one of the best technical wrestlers on the roster. Meanwhile, as that is going on we see Chad Gable and Kurt Angle watching on the monitor getting a pop from the live crowd with Gulak notices and looks annoyed by. Angle and Gable seem impressed with what they have just seen before Kurt tells Chad it is time to head to the ring as Michael Cole tells us after the commercial break we will see Chad Gable's return match!

*KILLER INSTINCT*

As we return from the commercial break, Mojo Rawley is making his way to the ring getting boos from the live crowd. Mojo, as he climbs into the ring, keeps telling the live crowd tonight he kills the hype as he looks to derail Chad Gable's return to the ring tonight.

*ELITE*

A loud pop that matches the one Drew Gulak got as Chad Gable makes his way out and he is joined by his new manager Kurt Angle. Angle gets the “YOU SUCK” treatment as he walks to the ring, bringing a smile to the legend's face. As the pair are walking to the ring, we can see Drew Gulak is now sat watching the match himself on a monitor backstage, as he looks he is about to take some notes. Chad Gable steps inside the ring as Mojo mocks him and tells him he sucks. Gable however just ignores Mojo as the referee calls for the bell getting this match underway!

Match 8: Chad Gable w/ Kurt Angle vs Mojo Rawley

Match summary: Mojo starts the match by charging at Chad Gable, trying to use his power to run through his smaller opponent. Chad though is ready and has clearly done his homework as he takes down Mojo, bringing him down to the mat and starts to slowly grind down the former hype man. During the match, we cut to Drew Gulak who is taking notes and is paying close attention to the technical work of Gable. Kurt Angle at ringside gives instructions to his protege and each time Mojo looks to be in control, Chad finds a way to counter him. In the end, Chad Gable locks in the ANKLE LOCK which forces Mojo Rawley to tap out giving Chad Gable the win on his return!

Winner via submission: Chad Gable (6:10)

Chad Gable lets go of the hold as Kurt Angle joins him in the ring and raises his arm into the air as the pair celebrate a successful return to the ring tonight. Mojo Rawley meanwhile rolls out of the ring grabbing his ankle which is clearly in a lot of pain. Both men soak in the cheers from the crowd as once again we can see Drew Gulak making notes. The commentary team wonders why Drew Gulak is making notes on Chad Gable but they don't have long to speculate as we cut to a hallway as Becky Lynch is walking to the ring with both her title belts on her shoulder. The commentary team tells us the main event is up next as we ill hear from Becky2belts and they tell us to not go anywhere.

*CELTIC INVASION*

It is the loudest pop of the night as the Man Becky Lynch makes her way out to the ring as she makes sure to lift both her title belts into the air showing them off to the fans. Michael Cole once again hypes up Summerslam and mentions both of Becky's belts will be on the line as she not only faces Asuka for the Smackdown Women's title but she also faces Bayley for the Raw Women's title! Becky is now stood in the ring as we get a few Becky2belts chants from the crowd which she lets happen before speaking.

Becky Lynch: Last week, I may have rubbed some people the wrong way.

Becky shrugs before carrying on.

Becky Lynch: But that's what you have to do to make to the top of this division. Sasha Banks wants to run her mouth. That's fine The Man welcomes a bit of trash talk but Sasha owed a debt that The Man had been due to collect, so I figured I'd collect with interest.

Michael Cole on commentary reminds us of what happened in last week's main event with Becky costing the Boss 'n' Hug Connection their tag team titles.

Becky Lynch: And Bayley, I'm sorry but you were just collateral damage!

Mixed reaction for that line but Becky Lynch shrugs as she carries on.

Becky Lynch: This is why you need to be careful who you're friends with Bayley. But y'know...

*SKY'S THE LIMIT*

A mixed reaction from the live crowd but the way she has been acting the last few weeks, the reaction leans towards boos. She marches to the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase in one hand and a microphone in the other hand. Becky dares her to fight her right now but Sasha Banks shakes her head.

Sasha Banks: You want me to lose my cool and cash this in right now don't you?

Becky Lynch: I would like you to step up for sure so if you want to throw down right now...

Sasha Banks: Becky this right here, will be cashed in on the Boss's time, not yours!

Boos from the crowd which causes Sasha to look at the crowd with disgust. But she shakes her head and smiles.

Sasha Banks: But last week you took something from me and Bayley.

Becky Lynch: I was just repaying the debt you created when you put your hands on me. And I think you still ain't learned what happens when you cross the Man.

Both women get in each other's face but before Sasha can respond...

*TURN IT UP*

The number one contender to the Raw Women's title at Summerslam Bayley makes her way out to the ring. Becky lets out a smirk and turns her attention to her rival this Sunday, which noticeably angers Sasha Banks who looks like she is considering attacking Becky Lynch now she is distracted.

Bayley: I need to be careful who I'm friends with? I mean I would have thought you were one of my friends considering our history Becky.

Bayley lifts her hand up doing the four horsewomen hand signal which makes Becky smile as she does one of her own. Sasha watches this but says nothing as she leans on the ropes.

Becky Lynch: Bayley, I may respect you but The Man is above caring about having friends. I was like you once being friends with everybody but look where it got me. I spent most of my time pulling knives out of my back!

Loud cheers from the crowd as Becky Lynch is getting fired up and even turns to Sasha.

Becky Lynch: Whilst you both thrived in NXT, I was the only one who didn't win the NXT women's title! But that's the funny thing.

Becky lets out a slight laugh confusing the Boss 'n' Hug Connection.

Bayley: What's that?

Becky Lynch: I mean it took me a few years but now I stand at the top of this division. Whilst you both peaked in NXT.

A gasp can be heard from the crowd as both Sasha Banks and Bayley look furious. Before Bayley can react Sasha Banks steps forward getting right in Becky's face.

Sasha Banks: I'm a 4-time Raw Women's champion!

Becky Lynch: And how many times did you successfully defend that belt?

Cheers from the crowd for the cutting words as Sasha Banks stands there looking like she is about to snap but her best friend steps in between as she gets in Becky's face.

Bayley: Stop talking to my best friend like that!

Becky smiles and even chuckles a little which annoys Bayley.

Bayley: What's so funny?

Becky Lynch: The fact you still trust that bitch!

Loud cheers from the crowd as Sasha Banks in the background looks furious but Bayley once again keeps her from attacking Becky.

Becky Lynch: I mean everyone else is thinking it but their too nice to stay it. You really think it was Fire and Desire who attacked you?

Sasha in the background looks furious as she glares at Becky. Bayley, however, remains silent.

Becky Lynch: It was Sasha. The truth is literally staring you in the face Bayley and you can't see it.

Bayley looks furious at this point as Sasha starts tries to shout over Becky denying the accusation as she barges past Bayley sending her to the mat!

Sasha Banks: What the hell are you talking about? Say that again and I'll...

Becky drops Sasha Banks with the microphone getting cheers from the crowd as Sasha rolls out away holding her jaw. Bayley goes to check on her as Becky carries on.

Becky Lynch: Who gained the most from you being out of the match? Look at that briefcase in her hands and tell me why she isn't the prime suspect? But you're too blind to see it as you're a naive little girl.

BAYLEY PUNCHES BECKY IN THE FACE! Becky falls to the mat holding her jaw as Bayley looks like she is about to explode. Sasha looks to attack Becky but once again Bayley stops her and then glares at her best friend. Sasha chooses to not attack as she leaves the ring. Bayley meanwhile turns to Becky.

Bayley: You think I peaked in NXT? At Summerslam I'll prove to you I'm not some naïve little girl when I beat you for that title!

Bayley throws the microphone down to the mat in anger as she walks up the ramp. Banks looks to high five her friend but Bayley walks past her as Becky in the ring gets to her feet and weirdly smiles.

Becky Lynch: Bayley, you better bring that fire to Summerslam if you want to even have a chance at taking one my belts!

Becky drops the microphone before she grabs both her titles. Meanwhile halfway up the ramp, we see Bayley staring down The Man Becky Lynch as she looks fired up ahead of one of the biggest matches of her career at Summerslam. But in the background, we can see Sasha Banks lurking as she clutches her Money in the Bank tight as the show fades to black.

Your shows are really starting to come out STRONG now with SummerSlam right around the corner :mark: I liked WWE's SummerSlam build for the most part, but I think most of this is a lot better. Once you wrapped up most of the things WWE had started by 'Mania that I wasn't a big fan of and started focusing more on your ideas, I've been enjoying this a lot.

*CELTIC INVASION*

Smackdown Live starts how Monday Night Raw ended last night as Becky Lynch makes her way out with both her title belts on her shoulders. The crowd let out some “Becky2belts “ chants as she walks to the ring. Meanwhile, on commentary Byron Saxton and Corey Graves welcome us to the show. They inform us we are starting the show off with the two women who will be facing each other at Summerslam for the Smackdown Women's title Becky Lynch and Asuka teaming up to take on the Iiconics in a tag team match.

*THE FUTURE*

Asuka makes her way out next getting a pop from the live crowd as she walks to the ring with a swagger. Becky Lynch has her eyes on her rival the whole time as she walks to the ring. Both members of the commentary team wonder if these two can co-exist and pick up the win over the former tag team champions tonight. Once in the ring, both Asuka and Becky Lynch come face to face with each other as the pair stare each other down until...

*FEMME FATALE*

The Iiconics make their way out getting boos from the crowd as they have microphones in their hands. Neither Becky or Asuka look impressed with this.

Peyton Royce: Last week was a bloody disgrace.

Billie Kay: A disgrace!

Peyton Royce: And we will be making an official complaint to Shane McMahon because we will not stand for this mistreatment!

Billie Kay: You tell them Peyton.

Both members of the Iiconics step into the ring as Asuka stares at the pair. Becky meanwhile leans on the ropes relaxed and not at all worried about fighting the Iiconics tonight.

Peyton Royce: We are the stars of this show.

Billie Kay: No Peyton we are the biggest stars in this whole company.

Becky off-mic shouts at the pair saying me and Asuka must have hit them in the head too hard!

Peyton Royce: Just who do you two think you are?

Asuka snatches the microphone from Peyton!

Asuka: I'm Asuka!

Asuka follows up by clocking Peyton in the face once again shutting up the mouthy Aussie! Becky smirks as she bounces off the ropes and takes Billie Kay out of the ring! The referee looks confused as Asuka tells him to ring the bell and the referee does what she asks calling for the bell as this match gets underway!

Match 1: The Iiconics vs Becky Lynch and Asuka

Match summary: Asuka batters Peyton in the first minute of this match really laying into her. Peyton doesn't stand a chance as Asuka sends Peyton down to the mat as she lets out a roar looking for the Spin Kick as Becky tags herself in. Both women stare each other down as Becky grabs hold of the rising Peyton and hits her with MAN DOWN! She isn't done there however as she grabs Peyton's arm and locks in the DIS-ARM-HER! Billie Kay tries to make the save but Asuka quickly takes care of her as well and locks in a DIS-ARM-HER of her own as well! She stares Becky in the face as she does it whilst both the Iiconics try to find a way out of the lethal hold but both tap at the same time!

Winners via submission: Becky Lynch and Asuka (2:16)

Bryon Saxton on commentary gives both Becky Lynch and Asuka credit for picking up the win over the former tag team champions in decisive fashion tonight. Corey, however, says the Iiconics never had a chance with Peyton being attacked before the bell. Asuka and Becky Lynch in the ring let go of the Iiconics's arms and stare each other down.

Meanwhile, The Iiconics sneak out of the ring and head to the back licking their wounds after being destroyed tonight in this tag team match. Back in the ring, both women are staring each other down. Becky, however, makes her way over to the ropes as she asks for her tag team titles and a microphone. Becky places both of the belts on her shoulders as she walks back to the middle of the ring and stares down her opponent this Sunday.

Becky Lynch: This match at Summerslam, this kind of challenge is the exact thing I have been craving since becoming champ champ.

Cheers from the crowd as Asuka remains stoic staring down The Man.

Becky Lynch: You have been my greatest challenge. You're the only woman who has beaten me when this is on the line.

Becky lifts the Smackdown Women's title in the air.

Becky Lynch: Lacey couldn't manage it. Ruby couldn't manage it. Charlotte couldn't manage it after 9000 attempts.

Cheers from the crowd for the dig at The Queen Charlotte Flair.

Becky Lynch: Even that little weirdo Ronda couldn't beat The Man.

More cheers from the crowd as both women stare each other down.

Becky Lynch: But you managed it.

Becky lets out a cocky smile as he lifts her Smackdown Women's title in the air getting a pop from the fans as Asuka smirks as well turning her eyes to the title.

Becky Lynch: And at Summerslam, I'll be ready for Asuka one more time.

Becky lets out a cocky smile as she drops the microphone to the mat as she lifts both her title belts in the air, staring down Asuka. Becky goes to leave but Asuka picks up the microphone.

Asuka: Becky!

The Man turns around as she stares at Asuka who has a smile.

Asuka: At Summerslam, you will bow before the Empress!

Asuka tosses the microphone to the side as both women let out cocky smirks, relishing the challenge that awaits them at Summerslam with the crowd going wild cheering for both women ahead of their clash this Sunday.

When we return from the commercial break we can see Kayla Braxton stood backstage ready for an interview.

Kayla Braxton: Would you please welcome my guests at this time The New Day!

A loud pop from the live crowd as Kofi Kingston leads the way holding his WWE title.

Kayla Braxton: Now Kofi, how are you feeling after being hit with the Futureshock DDT onto a steel chair?

Kofi Kingston: I'll be honest Kayla, my head is still a little sore but I will be fine for Summerslam. And even if I wasn't, I would still fight to keep this title.

Big E: However that's not the only thing that happened last week we want to talk about.

Kayla Braxton: Are you referencing Roman spearing Xavier by mistake?

All 3 members of the New Day nod as Xavier looks to speak now.

Xavier Woods: Listen we ain't stupid. We watched what happened at the end of the show and Reigns wasn't looking to hit me, his attention was on Drew McIntyre. As it has been this whole time.

Big E: Our best friend has been forgotten about.

Kofi nods as he looks to speak now.

Kofi Kingston: I worked too hard to be an afterthought in my own title defense. I get Reigns and Drew's hatred for each other. Heck, I have been there myself with Randy Orton.

Big E: But there is one other thing I want to address myself.

Xavier Woods: Big E if this is down to the lack of steaks in catering that's due to Heavy Machinery.

Big E looks at his friend as he pulls a steak out of his singlet as he puts a finger over his mouth before placing it back inside.

Big E: No I want to talk about Drew and his two friends Corbin and Elias.

Big E for once is acting serious as he looks into the camera.

Big E: See me and Woods know you will try to get involved at Summerslam so if you're at ringside for the WWE title match this Sunday, we'll be there too.

Xavier Woods: And if Shane tries to ban us, well look what happened last time he tried that to give his boys an edge.

Kofi Kingston: See these two will always have my back. But I have an idea.

Kayla Braxton: What's the idea Kofi?

Kofi Kingston: See since Drew McIntyre and Roman have forgotten who the champion is, I'm calling them out for a face to face tonight in the main event.

Kofi lifts his WWE title into the air, showing it off to the camera before he walks off with the rest of The New Day having sent a message to his two challengers this Sunday. We then cut to the commentary team who hype up the confrontation in the main event of tonight's show. Bryon Saxton then informs us we have an update on the health condition of Matt Hardy.

We cut to what looks a video game screen as we can see in the bottom of the screen some writing saying “VANGUARD 1” We can see it filming from above the Hardy compound as it starts to fly down and focuses in on Matt Hardy who is in a bizarre red velvet-like coat and has a white streak in his hair. He sees the drone flying down and smiles.

Matt Hardy: Vanguard 1, I knew you would come.

Obviously, the drone does not respond as it is a drone. On the screen, we can see a medical update as a percentage bar at 73%.

Matt Hardy: Oh you wanted to check on the vessel's healing process? I am nearly fully healed alas my brother Nero is not. He still has an illness of the eye.

The drone beeps as Matt Hardy carries on speaking.

Matt Hardy: Oh yeah the world eater Bray and his Raiders of War. I'm not done with them. I have had to go to places I have been before. Dark places after battling with heroes who have battled hurricanes! But soon I will return and DELETE all of them! DELETE DELETE DELETE!

Vanguard 1 at this point flies off as Matt Hardy does the delete taunt and carries on shouting as we cut to a commercial break.

*GOD SAVE THE QUEEN*

Boos from the crowd as the Gentlemen make their way to the ring as they are both dressed to compete. The commentary team meanwhile brings up the mini-feud the pair have been having with Heavy Machinery on Twitter due to the way they act and how ungentlemen like the pair are. The commentary team says a win tonight over Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn might put them in line for a tag team title shot in the future.

*FIGHT*
*WORLDS APART*

A loud pop as the number one contender's to the Smackdown Tag team titles Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make their way out getting loud cheers from the crowd. Both men look fired up as Bryon Saxton speculates Shane made this match to try to exhaust the pair ahead of their title match in Canada this Sunday at Summerslam. Kevin Owens steps into the ring to start for his team whilst Jack Gallagher starts for his team.

Match 2: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs The Gentlemen

Match summary: The match gets underway with Jack Gallagher trying to grapple with Kevin Owens and take him down to the mat to wear him down. Kevin Owens though is too strong for that and takes control of the match using his power. He forces Gallagher to retreat as he tags in Aiden English. Meanwhile, Owens tags Sami Zayn into the match and the pair stay in control with the Gentlemen struggling with the popular duo as the commentary team gives the pair credit for how well they work as a unit.

The Gentlemen get back into the match however thanks to some cheap tricks from Jack Gallagher who uses the hook of his umbrella to trip Kevin Owens up on the apron! This causes Owens to chase after him and allows English to catch him by surprise with a tope con hilo. The Gentlemen use that to their advantage as they double-team and isolate Sami Zayn whilst Owens is down taking control for a small portion of the match.

However, they don't stay in control for long as Sami Zayn escapes from the pair and makes the hot tag bringing Kevin Owens back into the match. Owens and Sami Zayn take complete control wiping out both men and get ready to finish this. Owens sends Aiden English into the corner of the ring. Sami Zayn charges in and connects with a HULLEVA KICK! Aiden English stumbles out of the corner as Kevin Owens follows up with a STUNNER and makes the cover as Sami Zayn dives out of the ring and takes care of Jack Gallagher. 1 2 3 Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn pick up the win!

Winners via pinfall: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (8:17)

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn get to their feet having picked up a decent win over The Gentlemen tonight. Both men hug and celebrate to the delight of the crowd as Bryon Saxton puts over how well these two men know each other as a team. However, before they can celebrate too much...

*LIVE IN FEAR*

Bray Wyatt walks to the top of the ramp with the War Raiders stood behind him holding their Smackdown Tag team titles as Bray has an evil smile on his face. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn look ready for a fight even after going 8 minutes with The Gentlemen just now but Bray Wyatt shakes his head.

Bray Wyatt: No, no the suffering will be more beautiful when it happens this Sunday in your home country.

Boos from the crowd as Kevin Owens dares him to come and say that to his face off-mic. Bray though seems unfazed.

Bray Wyatt: You two are known for your foolishness and your wars with each other. How can you hope to survive when you go to war with these two men?

Sami Zayn at this point has gone to get a microphone so the pair can respond but Bray carries on.

Bray Wyatt: These two men laid waste to NXT. These two men have yet to pinned in that ring. They have yet to be submitted. They have...

Kevin Owens: I mean I beat you last week so I'm sure we can beat them!

Cheers from the crowd for Kevin Owens fires back and now Bray Wyatt looks angry.

Sami Zayn: You think I haven't had to fight against the odds before? I had to scratch and claw my way to the NXT title.

Sami starts to look serious as he steps forward leaning on the ropes.

Sami Zayn: But then it came to an end.

Kevin Owens looks a little guilty but Sami puts his arm on Kevin Owens's shoulder.

Sami Zayn: It's fine Kevin, I forgive you. We have made peace with our past actions and I believe anyone can change. Even someone as dark as you Bray.

Bray lets out an evil chuckle.

Bray Wyatt: Oh believe Sami, there is something inside but you don't want me to change into that fiend.

Sami Zayn: Maybe one day Bray you will change for the better. But me, I changed for the worst after NXT. I lost my fire. I became obsessed with revenge! All I was focused on was beating up Kevin Owens! I have spent too long focusing on the past but now we are back together I can get my career back on track and finally get my hands on a title!

Cheers from the crowd excited at the prospect of Sami Zayn finally getting his hands on a title on the main roster.

Sami Zayn: This Sunday we take those titles in our home country and trust me there is no one I would rather go to war with by my side then my best friend Kevin Owens.

Both men share a hug as Bray starts to let out an evil laugh. Both Kevin and Sami finish the hug as they look at Bray with Kevin Owens looking to speak.

Kevin Owens: What's so funny?

Bray carries on laughing as he looks to address the pair in the ring.

Bray Wyatt: For all your talk about being a team, Sami still can't bear to say he trusts you. Because he doesn't trust you.

Boos from the crowd.

Bray Wyatt: He knows you'll turn on him. He knows you'll betray him at his moment of glory once again. He knows you're a snake.

Loud boos from the crowd as Kevin Owens looks furious.

Kevin Owens: Keep trying to play your mind games Bray because they ain't going to work.

Bray responds to Kevin Owens by laughing as he stares at the two in the ring.

Bray Wyatt: After this Sunday we will learn who the snake really is!

Bray drops the microphone as he sits in a kneeling position as The War Raiders stare down their opponents for the Smackdown tag team titles this Sunday with both teams ready to go to war!

When we return from the commercial break, Cathy Kelly is stood backstage ready for an interview.

Cathy Kelly: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, Luke Harper.

Luke Harper walks onto the backstage set with the Intercontinental title on his shoulder as Luke Harper has a wild and blank look on his face.

Cathy Kelly: Luke Harper, tonight we get a Summerslam preview as you team up with your former tag team partner and ally Erick Rowan as you take on Ricochet and your opponent this Sunday Finn Balor. How are you feeling ahead of Summerslam?

Luke Harper: Tonight is treading old ground but it gives me the chance to show Finn Balor what he is in for this Sunday. This Sunday after I beat him and keep this title in my possession, I will carry on my reign of terror alone.

Cathy Kelly: So teaming with Erick Rowan is just for tonight?

Before Luke Harper can answer the question we see Erick Rowan and Daniel Bryan walk into the shot.

Daniel Bryan: Luke, Luke think of the damage you can do if you worked with us.

Erick Rowan: You can help me and Bryan save the planet.

Luke Harper lets out a sinister smile as he looks at Daniel Bryan's hand which is outstretched in front of him and shakes his head.

Luke Harper: No offense Bryan but I have spent enough of my career being a follower. I will work with you and Erick tonight as it benefits me. But after tonight, I expect to be left alone unless you want to try and take this.

Luke Harper shows off his Intercontinental title as Daniel Bryan noticeably touches his hemp WWE title around his waist as the big man walks off elsewhere having made it clear his alliance with the Eco-warriors is a temporary one. We then cut backstage as we can see Cedric Alexander walking through the back having just finished working out in the gym. However, as he is walking through the back we see the modern-day Maharajah Jinder Mahal appear behind Cedric Alexander hitting him with a lariat!

Jinder Mahal follows this up by climbing on top of Cedric Alexander and starts beating him up. He pounds away on the smaller superstar as he looks to make him pay for the perceived disrespect shown last week! He gets to his feet with Cedric selling the damage done by this attack. Jinder still looks angry as he grabs hold of Cedric and slams him into the wall! As Cedric bounces off the wall Jinder lifts him into the air and hits him with Khallas on the concrete floor. A bunch of officials finally appear to stop the beat down as they grab hold of Jinder who starts to trash talk, Cedric.

Jinder Mahal: That's what you get for disrespecting the Maharajah! Show me disrespect again! Go on disrespect me again.

They drag Jinder Mahal away as some medical officials come to check on Cedric Alexander. We cut back to the commentary team at ringside who talk about what just happened. Byron criticizes the sneak attack but Corey Graves counters saying it only happened due to the disrespect Cedric showed last week. We then see Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon walking to the ring which gets cheers from the live crowd as the commentary team tells us after the commercial break Ember Moon looks for payback as she takes on Charlotte Flair and that match is next!

*FREE THE FLAME*

Ember Moon makes her way out to the ring getting a decent pop from the crowd as she is followed by her tag team partner Alexa Bliss as they both make their way to the ring. In the corner of the screen as the pair walk to the ring, we get a quick promo that the pair cut on youtube earlier in the week.

Alexa Bliss: Last week, I have to give you credit Charlotte you got the better of both of us. And really I should have expected it.

Bliss looks annoyed as Ember steps forward.

Ember Moon: But doing things the easy way is how you made it to the top Charlotte. Some of us didn't have our dad's name to rely on.

Alexa Bliss: No we had to work our way to the top. So now since I'm trying to be a good friend and a better person, Ember is getting the first shot at Charlotte.

Ember Moon: Thanks, Bliss. And I'll try to leave some for you.

Both women fist bump each other as we cut back to the ring as Ember Moon is stood waiting for Charlotte.

*RECOGNITION*

Loud boos as Charlotte Flair makes her way out in her usual regalia. She looks to be in a bad mood as she walks down the ramp as she eyes up Ember Moon in the ring. The commentary team once again bring up Charlotte's anger at what happened in her number one contender's match a month ago and last week she attacked both Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss with a steel chair to make them pay.

Corey says a win over Ember Moon might get Charlotte back on the right track. She steps in the ring as she tells Alexa Bliss to step away from the ring. Bliss refuses until Ember says it is fine and she has got this. Bliss listening to her friend heads to the commentary table and grabs a headset joining Corey Graves and Bryon Saxton as the match gets underway.

Match 3: Ember Moon vs Charlotte Flair

Match summary: Charlotte tries to keep the pace slow in the early stages but Ember Moon doesn't let that happen, due to how angry she is after Charlotte cheap shotted her and Alexa Bliss last week. Ember is even able to force Charlotte to try to take a powder but Ember follows this up by hitting Charlotte with a suicide dive to the outside! Bliss on commentary puts over her friend and says Ember Moon is such a unique competitor in the ring.

Ember Moon gets Charlotte back in the ring and keeps up the pressure using her high paced offense. This goes on until Charlotte cuts her off with a chop block to the leg! Ember grabs hold of her leg as Charlotte starts to zoom in on the leg and attacks it constantly trying to not only slow Ember Moon down but to set her up for the Figure 8! Ember Moon though fights through the pain and stays in the match frustrating the Queen.

On the commentary desk Bliss once again mentions the heart Ember has and brings up her time as NXT champion. When asked about Charlotte's skill in the ring, Bliss gives her credit for being one of the best competitors in the business but has a problem with her elitist attitude and how she carries herself. Back in the ring Charlotte locks in the figure 8 leg lock on Ember Moon but she refuses to give up and makes it to the ropes forcing a break!

Charlotte holds it till the count of 4 as she looks to do as much damage as possible to the leg of Ember Moon. Bliss shakes her head but says she has used such actions in the past to gain an edge in a match so she understands. Charlotte though is starting to get a little desperate. She even hits the Moonsault which gets a very close two count but once again Ember Moon kicks out stunning Charlotte!

Charlotte gets desperate but Ember Moon fights back and hits Charlotte with a pop-up powerbomb stunning her! Ember makes the cover but Charlotte this time kicks out at 2! Ember Moon doesn't let it get to her as she grabs hold of Charlotte as she thinks about what to do next but Charlotte counters rolling Ember Moon up! 1 2 CHARLOTTE HOOKS THE TIGHTS! 3 CHARLOTTE STEALS THE WIN!

Winner via pinfall: Charlotte Flair (10:33)

As soon as the referee hits his hand down onto the mat for the 3 count, Charlotte lets go of Ember Moon and her tights as she flees out of the ring. Ember Moon tries to chase after her as Alexa Bliss is annoyed on commentary. Charlotte however escapes and flees to the back frustrating the pair. Alexa Bliss joins Ember Moon in the ring as she looks to console her annoyed friend after Charlotte Flair stole the victory tonight.

As we return from the commercial break, we see Roman Reigns is only just arriving to the arena. As he is walking through the hallway however he is stopped by Kayla Braxton.

Kayla Braxton: Roman, Roman I know you just got to the arena but have you heard the New Day's challenge for the main event of tonight's show?

Roman Reigns: Hey Kayla, I've been filled in on what they had to say. I will give them credit for being smart enough to know I didn't mean to hit Xavier.

Kayla Braxton: What about their challenge for the main event?

Roman Reigns lets out a slight smile.

Roman Reigns: If Kofi thinks I've forgotten about him, maybe I do need to see him face to face tonight.

Roman looks to walk off but he stops for a moment and turns back to face Kayla Braxton.

Roman Reigns: But next time I hit one of the New Day, it won't be an accident. Believe dat.

Roman this time walks off and heads elsewhere having sent a message to the New Day ahead of tonight's main event. We then cut to a backstage hallway as we can see Elias sat strumming his guitar as Baron Corbin is stood next to him looking very much the smug prick he is.

Baron Corbin: Last week we showed everyone what happens when you mess with the people in power.

Elias strikes a cord on his guitar.

Baron Corbin: It is a lesson people failed to learn during my glorious reign as Raw general manager.

Elias: A truly glorious time for the show.

Baron Corbin: Exactly Elias. At least someone appreciates true leadership.

Corbin turns back to the camera with a smile on his face.

Baron Corbin: But Shane McMahon appreciates my leadership qualities as well. He saw me for the visionary I am and now we are leading this show to glory.

Elias once again strums his guitar as it seems like he is getting ready to sing a song.

Baron Corbin: You really didn't know how good you had it when Shane carried you a tag team title reign.

Elias: The Miz always needs the help of someone else doesn't he.

Baron Corbin: Exactly. You always need the help of your wife, some lackey or a tag team partner to get anything done. You never could succeed on your own could you Miz? And last week we showed what happens when you are all by yourself.

Elias: I mean I think it was a waste of one of these lovely guitars.

Baron Corbin: Sacrifices need to be made and guess what? The Miz isn't here this week due to the damage we did to him. And when he comes back, we will do the same thing once again.

Elias strums the guitar and gets ready to sing but Baron stops him.

Baron Corbin: Let’s save the performance for when the Corporation reigns supreme this Sunday.

Elias nods and the pair walk off elsewhere as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside. They confirm that the Corporation are correct and The Miz is not here this week due to the damage from the attack last week nor will he be at Summerslam. However, The Miz has confirmed on social media he intends to be here next week and no doubt will be looking to get his hands on Baron Corbin and Elias. Byron Saxton then informs us after the commercial break we will see The Riott Squad taking on the Twisted Sisters with the winners entering the fatal 4 way on the Summerslam pre-show for Women's tag team titles!

Sarah Logan is just coming to on the outside as she sees her tag team partner Ruby Riott being pinned and Liv Morgan down in the ring. Meanwhile Isla Dawn and Nikki Cross slide out of the ring heading up the ramp to celebrate. Bryon Saxton talks about the big opportunity the pair will have at Summerslam to become the Women's tag team champions. Both women head backstage in a good mood but the mood couldn't be any different in the ring as Sarah Logan helps Ruby Riott to her feet.

Ruby looks angry to have lost as we see Liv Morgan getting to her feet looking scared and upset. She slowly makes her way over to her friends as she says sorry for not being able to do her part of the plan. Sarah Logan responds by shaking her head whilst Ruby shouts at Morgan calling her useless. Liv Morgan nods her head as Ruby asks her to repeat what Ruby just called her. Liv very timidly says she is useless.

Ruby says exactly before punching her in the face stunning Liv and getting boos from the crowd. Liv Morgan grabs her face on the mat as she looks confused as Ruby stands over her. Ruby however just has an angry dark look on her face as she looks at Liv Morgan with disgust. She then gestures towards Sarah Logan who nods and wildly attacks Liv Morgan, laying a beatdown on their now former friend.

Liv Morgan doesn't even try fighting back as the crowd boo Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan who carry on beating down their former friend. Sarah Logan coldly yanks Liv Morgan off the mat by her hair and lifts her up, lining her up for Ruby Riott who takes a moment before taking Liv Morgan's head off with a Riot Kick. Liv Morgan drops to the mat as Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan both leave the ring getting boos from the crowd having just shown their former friend the price of her mistakes.

We see him getting endorsed by Vince McMahon and being proclaimed the Chosen One and a future World Heavyweight champion. We see his run as Intercontinental champion and even see him holding one-half of the WWE tag team titles (though not who he teamed with for obvious reasons).

Drew McIntyre: I had the world handed to me and I failed. I was too young and I didn't take things seriously. I wasn't ready.

The camera cuts to Drew McIntyre going on a bit of a losing streak which he struggled to recover from. We then see his time in 3MB and them losing often. We then see a news headline announcing Drew McIntyre has been released from WWE.

Drew McIntyre: I blame no one but myself for getting fired. I wasn't living up to my potential. I had gotten lazy and complacent. I needed a wake-up call.

Drew McIntyre: I had to leave a path of destruction around the world to make my way back to the WWE. I didn't stop until I was back in WWE where I belong but this time, I wasn't going to make the same mistakes I made in the past!

We see him fighting Bobby Roode in NXT for the NXT title and becoming NXT champion within months of joining the brand. The camera next cuts to him returning to Monday Night Raw aligned with Dolph Ziggler. We see the pair becoming the Raw tag team champions as Drew once again won gold.

Boos from the live crowd as Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan make their way to the ring with only Erick Rowan dressed to compete tonight. *SWAMP GAS*

Boos from the live crowd as the Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper makes his way to the ring. He once again has a cold blank stare as he walks to ring. *ONE AND ONLY*

Cheers from the crowd as Ricochet makes his way out getting a decent reaction from the live crowd as he pulls down his hoodie and makes his usual entrance. He walks about halfway down the ramp but wisely chooses to wait for his tag team partner tonight before sliding inside the ring with the two larger men.

*CATCH YOUR BREATH*

The cheers get even louder as Finn Balor makes his way out to the ring as he soaks in the usual reaction from the fans. He makes his way down the ramp as he joins Ricochet halfway down the ramp. Both men look at each other and share a fist bump. They look at the big men in the ring and make their way inside ready for a fight. Finn Balor makes his way to apron allowing Ricochet to start for his team whilst Luke Harper starts for his team as Daniel Bryan gives Erick Rowan a few instructions on the outside.

Match 5: Finn Balor and Ricochet vs Erick Rowan and Luke Harper w/Daniel Bryan

Match summary: A clash of styles between the two teams tonight, with Balor and Ricochet using their high-flying skills whilst their opponents the former Bludgeon brothers use their power and size. It is a lot more even then you expect for most of the match until we get to the middle of the match as Finn Balor get isolated by the Bludgeon brothers who cut off one-half of the ring as they look to wear down Finn.

*THE TRUTH REIGNS*

Loud cheers from the crowd as Roman Reigns makes his way out and he looks in a serious mood as he marches to the ring with a microphone in his hand. Both Big E and Xavier Woods step back a little as Roman climbs into the ring but Kofi stays where he is as he and Roman Reigns have a staredown. However, it is Xavier who speaks first.

Xavier Woods: Listen, Roman, I heard what you had to say earlier and I accept your apology.

Small cheers from the crowd as Roman nods.

Roman Reigns: I'm glad because it was an accident. However, you keep talking about me and the next one won't be.

Mixed reaction from the fans as Big E noticeably steps forward more than ready to start a fight. Neither man backs down as Kofi stands in between the two men.

Kofi Kingston: It's fine E, I've got this.

Big E nods doing what his best friend says and stands next to Xavier Woods. Kofi turns back to his opponent this Sunday.

Kofi Kingston: How about you stop talking trash to my friends and start focusing on the person you’re facing this Sunday?

Roman Reigns: Kofi trust me, I know who I'm facing this Sunday and you're right. You did have to work hard for it but me? Unlike Drew, I was always made to be champion.

Some boos from the crowd but Roman carries on.

Roman Reigns: And some fans will never accept that this company knew I had the talent to become champion. I never lost my world title. I had to forfeit my title without losing and now I have a chance to get back to the top!

Both men are face to face as Kofi looks to respond.

Kofi Kingston: If you had asked me, I would have been willing to give you a one on one title shot for this anytime Roman.

Roman Reigns: I don't need to ask for handouts. No, I'm coming to take what should be mine this Sunday!

Mixed reaction as the two men are face to face with each other as this music hits...

*GALLANTRY*

Drew McIntyre marches out to the ring with a microphone in hand. He walks out with a purpose as Reigns noticeably turns to face him as he walks out. Drew though is ready for a fight.

Drew McIntyre: If you want to fight Roman, we can do this right now. Hell, I'll take on all 4 of you in that ring right now if I have to.

Roman Reigns: I will gladly knock you out right now.

Drew is in the ring as Roman is staring Drew in the face but Kofi who has had enough of being made to feel ignored spins Roman round!

Kofi Kingston: This is exactly what I mean. Both of you are more focused on each other and seem to think I'm a third wheel in your war!

Roman Reigns looks angry as Drew steps forward.

Drew McIntyre: Kofi, my focus right now is taking that title! And it doesn't matter how many people I have to go through. This Sunday I will become WWE champion and finally fulfill my potential!

Roman looks to speak but then this music hits...

*I BRING THE DARKNESS (END OF DAYS)*

Loud boos from the crowd as Drew McIntyre's fellow stable-mates in the Corporation start to make their way out to the ring! No one in the ring looks happy even Drew McIntyre as Xavier Woods speaks first.

Xavier Woods: See Drew this is how we know you are talking rubbish.

Drew turns to face the New Day as Baron Corbin and Elias slowly make their way to ringside as they step inside. The New Day and Roman get ready to fight in case things kick off.

Drew McIntyre: They are not here on my accord.

Drew glares at the pair as Baron Corbin looks to speak.

Baron Corbin: Hey, we were sent out here by Shane to make sure things don't kick off as he wants the main event of Summerslam kept intact as that is best for business.

Boos for that line as Corbin shakes his head. Elias grabs the microphone looking to speak.

Elias: And you people would know that if you had any idea how to run a show!

Loud boos now for Elias as Big E steps in front of him.

Big E: If you two don't leave, something will definitely kick off!

Big E gets in Elias's face as Corbin puts his hands up signaling he doesn't want to fight.

Kofi Kingston: For someone who talks about doing things alone you always seem to have a crew watching your back Drew.

Drew McIntyre: Watch your mouth Kofi.

Xavier Woods: No he's right Drew.

Drew turns to face Xavier Woods as Roman watches Elias and Baron Corbin ready to attack them if they try anything.

Xavier Woods: You talk about all the hard work you have done to get back here but I see the same Drew McIntyre you always have been. Needing a McMahon to back you up and make sure you get to the top.

Loud cheers from the crowd but Drew looks like he is about to flip as he gets in Xavier Woods face.

Xavier Woods: Hell since you came back to Raw you have had a posse backing you up time and time again!

Drew McIntyre: You think I need them? Elias, Baron go to the back!

Both men look confused as Drew turns around to face them.

Drew McIntyre: I said head to the back!

Baron Corbin looks at Elias and shrugs as both men climb through the ropes as they do what Drew says. However, as they get halfway down the ramp, Drew has something else to say.

Drew McIntyre: And I want you to stay there at Summerslam!

Cheers from the crowd surprised at what Drew is saying and so are the New Day. Roman meanwhile looks like he doesn't believe Drew. Corbin and Elias try to argue with Drew but he is having none of it.

Drew McIntyre: No you will stay in the back and so will Shane. If you come out during my main event, I'll take you out myself! Look what happened last time someone was at ringside. Shane cost me the match!

Both Corbin and Elias try to argue but it is clear Drew isn't going to change his mind.

Big E: If they and Shane stay in the back, so will we.

Xavier Woods: We know Kofi can get the job done without us.

Roman Reigns: I wouldn't make decisions based on his words.

Drew McIntyre: You should take my word for it because Shane is the only reason you beat me at Summerslam!

Roman Reigns gets in Drew's face once again as The New Day watch on with Kofi clearly getting annoyed.

Roman Reigns: With or without Shane McMahon there, I would have won at the Great American Bash. Just like this Sunday I will win and become WWE champion. Believe dat!

Mixed reaction from the crowd with a good portion wanting Kofi to retain at Summerslam. Kofi meanwhile looks annoyed as Drew and Roman carry on arguing.

Drew McIntyre: No I will walk out of Summerslam as the WWE champion and for good measure, I will put you back on the shelf where you belong!

Boos for that line by Drew and Roman has heard enough as he clocks Drew in the face dropping the Sinister Scotsman. Big E and Xavier Woods think about getting involved but Kofi stops both of them from doing so instead telling them to stay back. Roman lays into Drew with several punches. Roman gets to his feet and as he turns around TROUBLE IN PARADISE FROM THE WWE CHAMPION!

Kofi Kingston has had enough of being ignored by Roman! Drew McIntyre meanwhile is struggling to his feet now after the attack by Roman Reigns and gets hit with TROUBLE IN PARADISE as well! Kofi Kingston gets back to his feet as he two friends stand next to him as the show comes to an end with Kofi Kingston standing tall next to his best friends holding his WWE title in the air as maybe a sign of things to come this Sunday at Summerslam as we fade to black.
