News updates:

On tonight's Monday Night Raw expect massive announcements for the future of the company. Rumour has it some of these changes will affect 205 Live as well as Raw and Smackdown. WWE wants to go back to making the brands separate again due to the deal with Fox in October. What these means for the Women tag team titles and the Women title situation on both brands with Becky holding both titles is unsure but expect her to be on Monday Raw only when she loses the Smackdown Women’s title.

Meanwhile, in other news expect Brock Lesnar to once again take some time off from the WWE after his Universal title loss to Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 35. When he will return is unclear but there will be a return at some point. Also, there was a rumour flying around that Brock Lesnar would return at Money in the Bank and win. However, most sources backstage say this is ridiculous and wild speculation.

One of the most interesting pieces of news is Vince McMahon taking a more hands-off approach backstage. With the upcoming XFL Vince is looking to step away for the moment and leave things in the hands of Stephanie McMahon and HHH. Expect them to be on TV a whole lot less soon due to this. Meanwhile, Shane McMahon after his recent heel turn may play a big role in TV in the coming months as WWE feels that this story-line can be used to help other characters grow.

Luke Harper, Sasha Banks and The Revival all asked for their releases over Wrestlemania weekend but they have all been denied. The reason is WWE sees them as too valuable to lose and will be spending time in the coming months trying to find a way to convince them to stay.

Also having returned from retirement Beth Phoenix will be staying with the main roster for the time being. WWE are looking to help get the Women's tag team division off the ground and whilst the plan is to have the belts defended on occasion in NXT and NXT UK, they felt the need for another team on the main roster and we may see more NXT calls up soon to help bolster the Women's division on both brands as they want to make sure they have enough depth for a Women's tag team division.

In the most shocking development in the last few weeks WWE has been forced to cancel the Saudi Arabia deal due to pressure from their sponsors. Whilst they had not been popular with the fans, they did generate an insane amount of money for the company. The rumour is WWE may run a few extra house shows in that country to make up for this decision.

Post-mania injury updates:

Nia Jax and Sheamus have come out of Wrestlemania with injuries. Sheamus has been suffering long term with back issues and the time scale for his return is unknown. Nia Jax meanwhile tore both her ACL's and could be out for many months not expected to return until at least the Royal Rumble next year. This causes an issue for WWE as one of Becky's first feuds on Monday night Raw was going to be Nia Jax. Who takes her spot remains to be seen.

Dean Ambrose, Lars Sullivan and Goldust leave WWE:

Dean Ambrose's departure from WWE was already announced but with him being removed from the roster page it seems he has already made his final appearance in WWE. Meanwhile, Goldust has been granted his release from WWE. A lot of people felt he would have wanted to go to AEW with Vince unwilling to let him go but HHH convinced Vince it would look bad to keep Cody's brother in WWE against his will especially when he is not being used.

Also leaving WWE is Lars Sullivan. Due to his panic attack before an episode of Raw he did not make his début on the main roster. Lars, in the end, requested his release stating he could not handle being on TV due to his anxiety. Whether someone gets a monster push in his place is yet to be seen.

Mod note here: Yes, I was not going to book the Saudi shows and felt the need to make that clear from the off. The network events that will be taking place throughout the year will be made clear after the first Raw is posted. The first two shows for each brand will be recaps to get the roster set before I start writing full shows.

Raw:
April 8th 2019:

Brooklyn, New York

The show with Becky Lynch making her way out to a massive pop. She talks about overcoming Ronda and Charlotte at Wrestlemania to become champ champ and talks about wanting to take on all comers. Says she finally proved that Ronda is not the baddest women on the planet and asks who is next for Becky2belts. Bayley comes out. Mentions losing the tag team titles at Wrestlemania and that Sasha is taking some time off. Becky makes a joke about Sasha which annoys Bayley a little. Bayley would then challenge Becky to a match for the Raw Women's title in the main event. The man agrees as the pair shake hands making the match official for later in the show.

Match 1: Chad Gable and Bobby Roode vs Ricochet and Aleister Black

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode come into this match having had a hard time recently. Meanwhile, Black and Ricochet have been on a roll a team and look to keep that form going. Throughout the match, Roode does not seem to want to be here whilst Gable is putting in all the work trying to pick up the win. In the end, a miscommunication between Roode and Gable allows Black to hit the Black Mass on Roode taking care of him whilst Ricochet hits Gable with the 630 senton to pick up the win.

Winners via pinfall: Ricochet and Aleister Black (13:42)
After the match Ricochet and Aleister Black celebrate heading up the ramp as Ricochet slaps hands with the crowd whilst Black remains stoic walking up the ramp. In the ring, Roode steps inside and helps Gable up to his feet. He takes a moment talking to his young partner before dropping him with a lariat to boos from the crowd. Roode beats down Gable before hitting him with the glorious DDT! He makes his way up the ramp and mocks the crowd as Gable is left laid out in the ring bringing an end to their tag team.

Ad break
Charly Caruso is backstage and asks Bobby Roode as he is walking through the back why he did that to his partner Gable. Roode says he has been dragged down for too long and now will become the glorious one like he always should have been. Once he says that he carries on walking leaving Charly stood there. The camera then cuts to Beth Phoenix and Natalya who are talking backstage as Beth tells Natalya she plans to stick around for a while and that getting back in the ring felt great. She also says she wants the Women tag team titles something that was never around when she was a wrestler in the past. The Iiconics appear and mock the pair in typical Iiconics fashion. The Divas of doom challenge them to a fight but the pair refuse walking off as Beth and Natalya shake their heads.

Match 2: Alexa Bliss vs Dana Brooke

An average match as Alexa Bliss carries on her return to the ring picking up the win with Twisted Bliss.

Winner via pinfall: Alexa Bliss (7:23)

Ad break

The McMahons make their way out after the commercial break. The first announcement is next week the Superstar shakeup will still be taking part. However, they also announce that both shows will be under new stewardship in the coming months as the McMahons have their focus elsewhere and want the show to be about the stars. Shane declares that however Smackdown has always been his show and he will stay running it himself which noticeably makes HHH very annoyed as he can be heard saying that we didn't agree to that. Stephanie calms her husband down as Vince says nothing. HHH carries on by saying that there will be a new commissioner for Monday Night Raw and they will make themselves known next week.

Vince McMahon then announces that after Money in the Bank he wants the brands to start competing against each other and therefore has announced there will be the return of separate Pay-per-view events for each show. Shane McMahon then makes an announcement saying that he feels that they give the WWE universe too much and therefore 205 Live after this week will be canceled! Boos from the crowd as HHH in the background looks to speak to Shane but Vince tells him he agrees with Shane muttering something about beef like a crazy old man.

However, before an argument can break out Drake Maverick appears. Drake asks what happens to him. Shane mocks him and tells him he is no longer needed as a general manager. When Drake protests Shane tells Drake if he keeps arguing he will also be fired before telling him he will have a match after the commercial break with this man. Baron Corbin's music hits to boos from the crowd with Drake looking worried as the show goes to an ad break.

Ad break

Match 3: Baron Corbin vs Drake Maverick

Baron Corbin bullies his smaller opponent and to add insult to injury picks up the win with the ankle lock getting massive heat from the crowd for using Kurt Angle's signature move!

Winner via submission: Baron Corbin (4:12)

Baron Corbin carries on beating down Drake Maverick after the match until Apollo Crews runs out chasing off Baron Corbin saving Drake Maverick from any further damage. EC3 meanwhile is shown watching all this happen backstage as he oddly lets out a smile.

Ad break

Elias sits in the ring complaining about what happened at Wrestlemania until he says a line about the next person to come out getting these hands which leads into a Braun Strowman appearance. Braun destroys him before smashing Elias with the guitar to end the segment!

Backstage interview with Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley. Lashley and Rush whine about the demon king that Finn Balor became calling Finn a cheat and the win a fluke. They also say it is time for him to move on to bigger foes and better foes.

Short promo from Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder celebrating their win at Wrestlemania until the Ascension comes out. The Ascension mentions they are still the longest-reigning NXT tag team champions of all time and challenge the pair to put their titles on the line right now! Ryder and Hawkins agree as the show goes to an ad break.

Ad break

Match 4: Raw tag team titles match: Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder © vs The Ascension

The Ascension put on a decent showing against the tag team champions but, in the end, they are unable to put away Hawkins and Ryder who pick up the win with double top rope elbow drops for the win!

Winners via pinfall and still Raw tag team Champions: Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder (9:16)

As the Raw tag team champions celebrate in the ring The Revival makes their way out to the ring getting boos from the crowd. They ask for a microphone from someone at ringside. They tell Hawkins and Ryder their win at Wrestlemania was a fluke and that they want a rematch as soon as possible. Ryder and Hawkins, however, each grab a microphone mocking them asking how they feel about being the 1 in 269? The Revival look furious before Ryder tells the pair that the losing streak is now turning into a winning streak and promise to beat whoever tries to take these titles from us WOO WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT. The champions stand in the ring as The Revival looks on.

Ad break
When we come back from the ad break, we hear Seth Rollins's music hit as he walks to the ring with his Universal title in his hands. He takes a moment to stand at the top of the ramp before hand-banging with the title above his head waving it about to the delight of the crowd. Once he is done, he makes his way into the ring enjoying the reaction from the crowd who are probably happy to see any new champion just so the belt appears on TV.

Once in the ring, he talks about being happy to once again be at the top of the WWE. He says someone needed to end Brock's reign of terror and I promised to do it by any means necessary. He talks about the fact Brock attacked him before the match and if Brock is going to bend the rules, well so I am. Rollins looks to carry on when we hear the music for Paul Heyman as he walks to the ring not looking happy.

He joins Seth Rollins in the ring and tells him this is not what a champion looks like. He calls Rollins a coward and says he is lying to himself. He says Rollins cheated to beat Brock as he knew he couldn't get it done 1 vs 1 fair and square. Rollins rolls his eyes before telling Heyman how about Brock says it to his face! Heyman tells Rollins fine. Brock's music plays to a pop from the crowd but turns to boos when they realise he isn't here!

Paul Heyman tells Seth Rollins, Brock has gone back home to think about every possible way he can hurt him, every possible way he can victimize him and when the time is right, he will eviscerate Seth Rollins. Rollins looks unfazed and asks Heyman if he is done? Heyman says he is as he looks to leave but Rollins grabs hold of Heyman whose face turns to pure fear! Rollins tells Heyman it is time for him to send a message. He hits Heyman with a ripcord knee dropping him to the mat before Seth runs off the ropes and hits a curb stomp to loud cheers from the crowd! Rollins leaves Heyman in the ring down and out as the medical team comes in to check on the advocate as the show goes to an ad break.

Ad break

Match 5: Finn Balor vs Tyler Breeze

Finn Balor gets loud cheers from the post-mania crowd whilst the reaction for Breeze is noticeably smaller. Balor plays up a lot to the fans showing off his newly won Intercontinental title whilst Breeze looks focused in the ring. Once the match starts Finn is noticeably a bit tired but is in control and looks like he will pick up the win as usual but Breeze fights back surprising the crowd!

He starts to give the Intercontinental champion a pounding looking fired up to prove himself tonight and the crowd is getting into him. It looks like he might pick up the win as in the closing stages he looks to go for the Unprettier but Finn escapes out of it before kicking Breeze in the gut and planting him with 1916! Balor wastes no time making his way to the top rope as flying off and hitting the coup de grace for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Finn Balor (14:30)
After the match, Finn Balor rises to his feet being handed his Intercontinental title as he knows he had a very tough match tonight. Tyler Breeze also gets up as Finn Balor offers him a handshake showing respect to Tyler Breeze due to how far he pushed him tonight. Breeze takes a moment or two before accepting the handshake from Finn Balor to a pop from the crowd.

Ad break
After the ad break, we come back as Mike Rome approaches Roman Reigns for an interview. He asks Roman what is next and Roman says that no matter which brand he ends up on he is focused on fighting his way back to the top and who knows maybe he will see his friend Seth Rollins there. Reigns smirks before walking off. In the ring, Jinder Mahal is with the Singh brothers who are ready for action. Lucha house party makes their way out next playing to the crowd ahead of this 6 man tag.

Match 6: Lucha House party vs Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers

A fun 6-man tag team match with Jinder controlling when he is tagged in but when the Singh brothers come in, they get battered. Jinder is noticeably annoyed by how useless they are and, in the end, Lucha House Party win as Gran Metalik hits the Metalik driver on Sunil Singh.

Winners via pinfall: Lucha House party (8:33)

Ad break

The Riott Squad are shown backstage as Ruby Riott is talking to them saying we need to change and that we can't keep coming up short. She looks at Logan saying last night could have relaunched us but we failed and we need to refocus starting with the Women tag team titles. We then cut to the ring for the main event of the evening between Becky Lynch and Bayley.

Main event: Raw Women's title match: Becky Lynch (c) vs Bayley

Becky Lynch and Bayley put on a great match as you would expect from two of the best Women's wrestlers on the planet today. In the end, however, Becky stays Becky2belts and picks up the win with a pumphandleUranage slam which commentary call Man down.

Winner via pinfall and still Raw Women's Champion: Becky Lynch (15:02)

After the match, Becky is passed both of her titles as he holds them in the air to the delight of the crowd. Bayley meanwhile gets to her feet selling the battle she went through as she offers her friend Becky a handshake. Becky gives her one before hugging her friend as the celebrations carry on as the show comes to a close.

I am not canceling them but that is too much writing for me :hhh3. May do occasional recap for big things that happen but will be focusing on Smackdown and Raw in this BTB for the moment at least.

Smackdown:
April 9th 2019
Brooklyn, New York

Shane McMahon, the commissioner for Smackdown Live makes his way out getting massive boos from the crowd as he makes sure to come to the ring with Best in the World trophy by his side. He mocks the fans, The Miz and Miz's dad as he gloats about the fact, he won the falls count anywhere match at Wrestlemania. He then tells the crowd that they don't need to worry as this will still be the land of opportunity but only for the people who I feel are worthy.

Shane promises changes to the Smackdown live roster and says he will make sure that anyone who joins Smackdown Live will know he is the best in the world! He gets Justin Hamilton to do the signature announcement as he shuts his eyes meaning he does not see The Miz run out with a steel chair! Miz slides into the ring and smashes it into his back. He goes for another shot but Shane rolls out of the ring like he has been shot. Miz, however, does not follow after him. Instead, he demands a microphone. The Miz tells Shane he is far from done with him and that one chair shot is not enough revenge for what he did. He tells Shane you stabbed me in the back, you insulted my father but not only that but you also attacked my father.

He then stands over the ropes as Shane is crawling up the ramp. He tells Shane he knows he plans to draft him to Monday Night Raw but he spoke with HHH on Monday night. He said HHH's and Stephanie's final action before you took full control of Raw was making sure that you could not fire or trade me without my permission, giving me an iron-clad contract. Shane looks terrified as Miz smirks telling Shane he won't stop fighting till he brings Shane down to earth and proves he is not the best in the world but the worst in the world. The Miz then turns to the best in the world trophy in the ring as Shane begs Miz to leave it alone. The Miz, however, smiles before smashing it with a steel chair and destroys the trophy in the ring. Shane looks devastated on the ramp as The Miz holds the steel chair in the air to cheers from the crowd as the show cuts to a commercial break.

When we come back, we see Sin Cara waiting in the ring for his opponent getting a small reaction from the crowd. Commentary mentions that this is his return to the ring. Harper's music then hits as he walks to the ring having returned to the company during the Andre the Giant battle royal.

Match 1: Sin Cara vs Harper

Harper squashes Sin Cara in a short match as he throws Sin Cara around like a rag doll.

Winner via pinfall: Harper (2:47)

After that match we cut to a promo of Lacey Evans stood backstage in a fancy outfit as she looks to the camera holding a hankie-chief. She says the past few months she has been walking up and down the ramp to see the nasties in WWE and the WWE universe. She adds that she is disgusted by the nasties and it is time for you people to be shown some class from a real lady and I have a right, a Woman's right.

Ad break

Becky Lynch makes her way out to the ring after the ad break as she holds both of the belts as we get becky2belts chant going from the crowd. She looks to speak but before she can even say a word Charlotte Flair makes her way out to the ring. Charlotte looks furious as she joins Becky in the ring and cuts right to the point demanding a match for her Smackdown Women's title! Charlotte brings up the point that Becky pinned Ronda not her however Becky fires back saying she has beaten Charlotte so many times she has lost count.

Naomi's music hits at this point before the two women can carry on arguing with each other saying it is time for something new. She tells the pair you have been fighting non-stop for months on end and no one else has gotten a look in but her friend Asuka. She tells the pair it is time for someone new to get a shot. Becky agrees with Naomi and says she is more than happy to feel the glow.

Charlotte though tells the Man to go sit on commentary whilst the queen puts Naomi in her place. Becky shakes her head as the two women go face to face as Shane McMahon's music hits. He sells the pain he is in limping on the ramp holding his gut saying he agrees with Charlotte saying she is the face of this division annoying Becky before making a match between Naomi and Charlotte for after the commercial break.

Match 2: Naomi vs Charlotte Flair

When we come back the match is underway as Naomi and Charlotte are battling in the ring whilst Becky Lynch has taken a seat on the commentary desk. As the match goes on Becky mentions that Shane once again proves that Charlotte Flair has the backing of management and anything Charlotte Flair wants, she gets. She says it is the only reason she won the Smackdown Women's title from Asuka in the first place.

Corey asks who she wants to face and Becky says if she had to pick anyone on Smackdown Live: Asuka. She brings up her loss at the rumble and wants to avenge that loss. She says as the champ champ she wants to face the best and beat all challengers, not just beat Charlotte, again and again, reliving 2018. In the ring Naomi puts up a good fight but, in the end, Charlotte puts her away with natural selection!

Winner via pinfall: Charlotte Flair (8:51)

Charlotte after the match gets her arm raised by the referee as Becky Lynch shakes her head on commentary putting down the headset. Charlotte meanwhile does the belt motion once again letting Becky Lynch know she wants a title shot still.

Daniel Bryan and Rowan are shown backstage as Bryan talks about the loss at Wrestlemania. He says that Kofi's win was a fluke and says he proved he is the prime example of corporate greed bringing back the WWE title. He says he will take back his WWE title and is still the planet champion! He says he will let Kofi have his moment tonight but after tonight he will make sure he reminds Kofi he is a B+ player.

We see the Iiconics backstage as they mock all 6 of the opponents, they beat at Wrestlemania saying they are going to make these titles Iconic! At this point Nikki Cross walks into shot and tells the pair she wants to play. Both, however, dismiss this telling her to get a friend and maybe they will play. They walk off laughing as Nikki lets out a smirk and looks to find someone to play with her.

Ad break

The Usos make their way out after a commercial break, interacting with the crowd to the delight of the fans. They stand in the ring and cut their usual promo. They say that they have Smackdown Live on lock and are throwing out an opening challenge to any team backstage right now who we did not beat at Wrestlemania! They toss the microphones down as they wait in the ring. Suddenly they hear this music:

The NXT tag team champions the War Raiders start to march to the ring to a loud pop from the crowd who are hyped up to see what is going to be a champion vs champion match tonight! All 4 men get in the ring looking focused as they stare down the Usos as the ref rings the bell getting this started.

Match 3: Smackdown tag team titles match: The Usos © vs War Raiders

Both teams put on a great showing as The War Raiders use their power and surprising agility to take control. Noticeably during the match, Rowe seems to be struggling with his back. However in the closing stages, as it looks like The Usos might win, the lights go out as we see Bray Wyatt stood on the ramp laughing to himself as he sits in a crossed-legged position at the top of the ramp distracting The Usos for a moment but that is all the War Raiders need. The Usos go for a superkick each but The War Raiders duck and plant them with a chokeslam each. Hanson makes sure to get Jey out of the ring before makes his way to the top rope. Rowe struggles to lift Jimmy but does so as they hit the Fallout and picking up the win becoming Smackdown tag team champions.

Winners via pinfall and New Smackdown tag team champions: The War Raiders (12:59)

After the match, Bray starts to laugh as he makes his way down to the ring as The War Raiders each hold up their NXT and Smackdown tag team titles in the air for the crowd to see. Bray, however, shouts some instructions to the pair as they beat down on The Usos some more before dropping them both with chokeslams to the mat! Bray lets out a laugh as the pair take a seat on the mat as Bray tells the crowd to follow the buzzards!

Ad break

When we return, we get a short Samoa Joe promo as he gloats about what he did to Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania and if he or his son tries to come for my title he will put them to sleep. Meanwhile elsewhere we see Shane making his way back to his office shouting at some poor stage-hand as we see Kevin Owens chuckling to himself. Shane asks Kevin what is so funny? Kevin Owens tells Shane McMahon he knew this was coming all along. He brings up their feud from the past and that Sami Zayn knew how big Shane's ego was as well. Shane looks angry before telling Kevin Owens there will be consequences for his action. Owens however fakes being scared and walks off as we cut to the ring.

Cesaro makes his way out first without his partner Sheamus who commentary mention is currently sidelined with a back injury and wishes the Irish superstar the best in his recovery. Cesaro gets a decent pop from the smarky crowd even though he is still a heel. Mustafa Ali gets an even louder pop from the crowd as commentary mention he missed out on a WWE title shot recently due to injury and will be looking to prove he should get one with a win tonight.

Match 4: Mustafa Ali vs Cesaro

Both men put on a great showing but Mustafa Ali shows his heart and also his unique offense in this match finding ways to overcome the strength and technical ability of Cesaro. In the end, Mustafa Ali makes his way to the top rope and connects with the 054 for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Mustafa Ali (11:48)

Ad break

We come back for the main event of the evening which is the New Day celebrating Kofi Kingston's win at Wrestlemania. The group do all of their usual jokes before thanking the fans for having faith in Kofi and helping him become WWE champion. Kofi also thanks both men for getting him to where he is today and tells them that without them, he does not even know if he would still be wrestling today and this is thanks to them as well. All 3 men then celebrate in the ring as the crowd do a New Day rocks chant as the show comes to a close with the New WWE champion and The New Day celebrating in the ring.

Good show, it all feels "real" which is usually one of my bigger complaints with BTBs when, but I can picture all of this happening. No Firefly Fun House in this universe tho :pour

The one and only 205 Live episode in this thread :side:

205 Live:
April 10th
2019

205 Live starts with Drake Maverick showing a bit disheveled with his tie being a mess and his beard looks like a mess. He says if this is going to be the last 205 Live ever, we are ending with a bang. In the main event, Tony Nese will face the man who had been a dominant champion until his loss at Wrestlemania: Buddy Murphy. Drake adds that match will also be a No DQ match! The video package comes to an end as we cut to the ring with Drew Gulak making his way to the commentary desk and taking a seat. Humberto Carrillo comes out first getting a small pop from the crowd whilst Jack Gallagher comes out getting boos from the crowd.

Match 1: Humberto Carrillo vs Jack Gallagher
Drew Gulak is on commentary and talks about trying to save 205 live. He says he wanted to make it better but no one listened to him. He says now maybe he can save one person's young career instead. He says he has been telling Humberto not to go to the top rope and use his ground game instead. Carrillo tries to stick to that but after the 8-minute mark, he is struggling but gets an opening as he heads to the top rope. Drew, however, snaps slamming his headset down breaking it and pushes Humberto off the top rope to the mat causing the DQ.

Winner via DQ: Humberto Carrillo (8:42)
Drew Gulak makes his way into the ring and starts berating Humberto Carrillo for going to the top rope. Both men argue as Drew punches Humberto confirming their relationship is coming to an end for sure now! He starts laying into Humberto until Gallagher stops Drew hitting him with the umbrella to the back. He goes for another shot but Drew slides out of the ring and retreats up the ramp. Jack Gallagher turns to Humberto Carrillo who is rising to his feet. Gallagher says nothing but gives him a nod as we cut backstage. We cut to the backstage area as we see Akira Tozawa and Brian Kendrick talking about becoming friends in recent times. They both mention the superstar shakeup and the end of 205 Live as they say they hope to stay together as a team.

We then cut to Drake Maverick's office backstage as he is packing things up when he is confronted by Mike and Maria Kanellis. Mike and Maria rip into him blaming him for 205 Live being canceled. Drake argues back but Mike responds to this and picks up Drake, pinning him against the wall. He threatens to destroy him worse than Corbin did on Monday night. However, before he can do much more damage EC3 walks in. He tells Mike he has a lot of wealth and he will make him a deal. He will get the authority to put him and his wife on Monday Night Raw in the superstar shakeup but in return, he fights Mike Kanellis next Monday. Maria agrees as Mike puts Drake down and walks off. Drake thanks EC3 but EC3 says that is what friends do letting out a cunning smirk.
Match 2: Cedric Alexander vs Ariya Davari

Ariya Davari takes on Cedric Alexander in a showcase match as both men try to put themselves in the shop window for the upcoming superstar shakeup. Cedric though is too much for Davari putting him away with the Lumbar check.

Winner via pinfall: Cedric Alexander (6:21)
We then cut to Noam Dar who says look what happens when he is no longer on the show. He shakes his head before saying that he is offering his services to either the Raw or Smackdown brand if they want a true supernova on their roster. He walks off acting cocky, chewing his gum as we cut to the ring for the main event of the show.
Main event: Cruiserweight title No DQ match: Tony Nese © vs Buddy Murphy

Tony Nese and Buddy Murphy go all out as they both want to be the last champion during the 205 Live era of the Cruiserweight division. Buddy puts Nese through a lot of punishment but in the end, Tony Nese has a chair placed in the corner of the ring which he sends Murphy into headfirst. He follows up with the running kneese onto the chair and rolls him out of the corner pinning the juggernaut retaining his Cruiserweight title.

Winner via pinfall and still Cruiserweight Champion: Tony Nese (14:57)

Tony Nese holds the Cruiserweight title in the air to cheers from the crowd as the last edition of 205 Live comes to an end.

News Updates:
Rowe out for 1 month:

One half of the War Raiders picked up an injury to his back on Smackdown Live and will be out of action for 1 month. How this will affect the war raiders after being called up on the most recent Smackdown Live and on NXT where they are still the NXT tag team champions remains to be seen?

Mod note: EWR...... thanks.... so much.
Plans for the Cruiserweight title:

Current plans indicate that the Cruiserweight title and it's champion Tony Nese will be on Monday Night Raw with 205 Live being canceled due to its poor performance on the network. WWE feels that adding the Cruiserweight division to Monday night Raw will offer it something different to Smackdown Live. However, do not expect all the current members of 205 Live to join the Raw brand especially Buddy Murphy who is pegged in for Smackdown Live in the upcoming shakeup.
