Wrestlemania 36: Night 2

After the usual video introduction, aka the same one as the night before. Once it finishes we pan over the Wrestlemania 36 set with the Pirate ship to the side and cut to the commentary team at ringside who welcome us to Night 2 of the biggest Wrestling night of the calendar.
Michael Cole: It’s Sunday Night and you know what that means. Welcome to Wrestlemania Thirty-Six Night Two!
Elias: And after what was an amazing night one, we are in for one hell of a sequel Michael.
Michael Cole: The WWE Men’s and Women’s titles are on the line in our two main events, and the World tag team titles will also be defended.
Elias: The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match takes place as well as the Andre the Giant battle royal.
Michael Cole: We will see Karrion Kross take on Kofi Kingston and The Demon King Finn Balor take on the Fiend Bray Wyatt!
Elias: And on the Raw side of things we will see a No Holds Barred match between Edge and Seth Rollins!
Michael Cole: But we are starting the show off with the United States title being on the line between two of the best technicians in the WWE!
Elias: Chad Gable versus AJ Styles!
A massive pop from the live crowd and whilst a few boo, the majority can’t help but cheer for the Phenomenal One AJ STYLES! He is joined at the top of the entrance ramp by his fellow Club members The Good Brothers as they share a TOO SWEET with their leader. The Good Brothers head backstage as promised by AJ, he is going it alone tonight!
Michael Cole: Well AJ seems to be sticking to his word but can Chad Gable trust him?
Elias: AJ Styles is a crafty veteran and you should always take what he says with a massive grain of salt.
Michael Cole: Well the other factor might be AJ thinks he doesn’t need any help and is in for an easy night without Gable’s mentor Kurt Angle at ringside.
Elias: AJ usually believes he can beat anyone. But he uses the Good Brothers to make his life easier. Maybe he thinks he is in for an easy night tonight?
Another loud pop from the crowd but not on the level of AJ Styles as CHAD GABLE walks out in a special All-American tracksuit! He takes it off before handing it to KURT ANGLE who walks out to take it from him. Loud cheers from the crowd and even a few “YOU SUCK” chant as Gable plays to it. AJ in the ring meanwhile shouts for Kurt to get backstage now.
Michael Cole: If Chad Gable is suffering any nerves, he sure ain’t showing it tonight.
Elias: This might be the biggest match of his career so far. Defending the United States title at Wrestlemania.
Michael Cole: As a former Olympian you have to think this means the world to him.
Elias: But will he walk out as champion?
Chad Gable walks into the ring with Kurt heading backstage as he passes the title to the referee. During the title introductions, AJ is talking a whole of trash and insulting Gable who remains focused keeping his head in the game like Kurt said. Once they are done, we cut back to the two men in the ring as the bell is called and the match is underway!
United States title match:
Once the bell rings AJ carries on talking a load of trash as Gable shakes his head staying focused. Both men lock up in the center of the ring and battle for control as AJ TAKES CONTROL OF THE LOCK UP! He smirks and trash-talks the fans as well but Gable escapes and resets in the corner of the ring. AJ taps his head and tells Gable he is in over his. Gable shakes his head, already sick of AJ’s mouth. They meet back in the center of the ring and LOCK UP ONCE AGAIN!
AJ is trash-talking as they battle for control in the middle of the ring but Gable remains focused on the job at hand. As they battle this time it is GABLE WHO TAKES CONTROL AND GETS AJ IN A HEADLOCK! AJ though fights back and escapes the hold retreating to the corner of the ring. Gable lets out the smallest of smiles which only serves to wind AJ Styles up who calls Chad lucky. They meet in the center of the ring and lock up as GABLE TAKES CONTROL ONCE AGAIN SO AJ GIVES HIM A THUMB TO THE EYE AND FOLLOWS UP WITH A PELE KICK!
Gable falls back to the ring mat as the crowd boos AJ for the cheap trick and the referee scalds AJ as well. The Phenomenal one though cockily dismisses them and goes back on the attack. AJ lays in a series of kicks to Gable whilst he is on the mat before lifting him up, connecting with a RELEASEGERMAN SUPLEX! AJ follows up with a cover 1 Gable kicks out! AJ looks annoyed by this and tells Gable to not waste his time. AJ grabs the right arm of Gable but Gable punches Styles fighting him off!
Styles falls back as Gable goes for THE RIGHT LEG OF AJ EARLY BUT AJ HAS IT SCOUTED AND KICKS GABLE AWAY! AJ scrambles away from Chad Gable and makes it to the ropes, looking slightly worried. Gable though remains steadfast in the middle of the ring, gaining confidence as the match goes along. Gable looks to go in for more damage to the legs of AJ but he clings onto the ropes, telling the referee to back Chad up which gets more boos from the crowd.
Gable shakes his head but does as the referee asks whilst AJ takes his time moving away from the ropes as he heads back to the middle of the ring, with both men sizing each other up. Chad looks like he is going for the leg of AJ but AJ is ready for it so Gable instead grabs hold of him from behind and SLAMS HIM DOWN WITH A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX! Gable runs off the ropes and connects with a BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE HEAD OF AJ! Gable makes the cover 1 AJ kicks out!
AJ still needs a lot more damage before he goes down as well but Gable remains focused as he grabs hold of AJ and starts to target the left arm of AJ. He starts to wrench the arm back as the commentary team wonder if this is a plan to stop the Phenomenal Forearm! AJ goes for a kick trying to fight back BUT GABLE AVOIDS IT AND BRINGS HIM DOWN TO THE MAT LOCKING IN AN ARMBAR! Styles scrambles and makes it to the ropes forcing a break which Gable does on the count of 2!
Gable breaks it as AJ is once again shown up by the champion as he gets to his feet shaking his head! Gable this time doesn’t want to let AJ rest and grabs hold of his left arm hitting an ARM DRAG! GABLE THOUGH HOLDS ON AND PUTS HIM IN LA MAGISTRAL! 1 2 AJ kicks out! AJ is struggling once again and angry about it as he goes to swing at Gable he gets taken down by a STANDING DROPKICK! Gable makes another rapid cover 1 2 AJ kicks out!
AJ cannot get into this match as it seems Gable doesn’t need Angle at ringside here! Chad Gable grabs hold of AJ and locks him in a BOW AND ARROW HOLD! Gable is wrenching back on the hold as he makes sure to adjust it so he can put even more strain on the left arm of AJ! The challenger is getting annoyed but gets his right arm free ELBOWING GABLE IN THE JAW SEVERAL TIMES! Gable is forced to let go of the hold and instead of retreating this time, AJ JUMPS ON GABLE PUNCHING HIM SEVERAL TIMES!
AJ has to be warned by the referee but he gets to his feet, clearly unsettled by how much Gable has been able to show him up so far. He shakes his head and looks to jump into the air as he connects with a couple of KNEE DROPS! AJ puts a bit of extra stink on that one before yanking Chad Gable off the mat WITH A SNAP SUPLEX INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! Gable slams back first off them as AJ hits a TRIO OF FLYING CLOTHESLINES SMASHING GABLE IN THE CORNER!
AJ Styles isn’t done there as he heads to the other corner before hitting a HESITATION DROPKICK TO GABLE IN THE CORNER! AJ showing a lot of aggression after taking Gable lightly in the early stages. AJ yanks Gable up and tosses him out of the corner towards the middle of the ring. AJ climbs to Bret’s rope and hits a FROG SPLASH! AJ makes the cover 1 2 Gable kicks out! AJ now though is fully focused on Gable and is taking him a lot more seriously as he gives Gable a few kicks to the head and body.
AJ grabs hold of Gable and looks to go after the arm himself as he twists it back. AJ is working on the arm of Gable as commentary talk about one of Gable’s main finishers being the ankle lock! AJ carries on the twisting but just as Gable tries to get free AJ BOOTS THE RIGHT ARM! Gable winces in pain as AJ runs off the ropes and hits a LOW-ANGLE FOREARM SMASH! AJ makes the cover 1 2 Gable kicks out! AJ is starting to take control of this encounter.
AJ grabs hold of Gable on the mat and goes for a POWERBOMB BUT GABLE COUNTERS WITH A SINGLE FALLING DDT! He plants AJ on the mat and makes the cover 1 2 AJ kicks out! AJ upon kicking out though gets a SNAP KNEE DROP TO THE LEFT ARM FOR HIS TROUBLES! AJ winces in pain due to the fresh attack on the arm as Gable once again looks to cut off any future attempts at the Phenomenal Forearm before hoisting him off the mat and hitting a BRIDGING FISHERMAN’S SUPLEX! 1 2 AJ kicks out!
AJ winces in pain grabbing his back as Gable grabs hold of his left arm once again working over it on the mat and trying to do as much damage as possible to it but AJ gets his foot on the bottom rope forcing a break. Gable let's go upon the count of 2 as AJ knows he has a moment to breathe. Gable though charges in looking to go after AJ BUT HE GETS ELBOWED OFF! AJ uses that to SPRINGBOARD OFF THE ROPES AND HITS A MOONSAULT! AJ makes the cover 1 2 Gable kicks out!
AJ turning the tides as the commentary team wonder if Angle would have stopped Gable from rushing in just now! AJ hits Gable with a KNEE STRIKE TO THE HEAD! Gable is staggered as AJ follows up with another before lifting him up off the mat HITTING A HIGH-ANGLE BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Gable lands with a hard thud near the ropes as AJ makes the cover 1 2 Gable kicks out! Gable after kicking out starts to head to the ropes to get some breathing room and tilts his head for a second looking for advice…
BUT HE IS ON HIS OWN TONIGHT! AJ meanwhile pounces on this hitting GABLE WITH A GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! AJ smirks from outside the ring as Gable stumbles back. He mocks some fans at ringside by looking around the ringside area before asking them where is Kurt. He walks to the apron backward in a cocky fashion as he carries on mouthing off to the fans. AJ climbs onto the ring apron ready to go for the PHENOMENAL FOREARM… BUT GABLE IS BACK ON HIS FEET AS HE SLAMS AJ’S HEAD INTO THE ROPES!
AJ is stunned and staggered on the ropes as CHAD GABLE GRABS THE LEFT ARM LOCKING IN A HANGING ARMBAR WRENCHING ON THE ARM OF AJ! The referee starts to count as Gable keeps it on till the count of 5 before letting go as AJ falls to the ring floor! Gable nods to himself and focuses whilst AJ sells the damage to his arm outside the ring, paying for his cockiness. Gable rolls out of the ring looking to follow up as AJ gets to his feet so GABLE WIPES HIM OUT WITH A CANNONBALL SENTON OFF THE RING APRON!
Gable gets back to his feet and grabs hold of AJ rolling him back into the ring! Gable gets AJ back inside as he makes the cover 1 2 AJ kicks out! Gable now is in control as he grabs hold of the LEFT ARM OF AJ AND LOCKS IN A HAMMERLOCK! He yanks the arm around as AJ tries to get out BUT GABLE TRANSITIONS INTO A SUPLEX SLAMMING AJ DOWN! Gable makes the cover pressing on the left arm! 1 2 Styles kicks out!
AJ is in a lot of trouble as Chad lifts AJ up and looks to SLAM HIM AROUND THE RING AGAIN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Gable though holds it on and hits another one before HITTING THE THIRD ONE COMPLETING THE THREE AMIGOS! Gable holds onto the last one with a bridge 1 2 Styles kicks out! Gable is in total control of the match as AJ is clearly selling his left arm after this attack! Gable signals to the crowd as he is going to the ANKLE LOCK!
He gets ready to wrap his arms around the leg of AJ Styles BUT AJ GOES FOR A PELE KICK AGAIN… BUT GABLE IS READY AND SITS DOWN TRANSITIONING INTO A SINGLE-LEG BOSTON CRAB! Gable wrenches back not only on the left leg of AJ but puts pressure on the back of AJ as well. The challenger struggles to get to the ropes or power up due to the damage done to the left arm but AJ does make it to the ropes forcing Gable to break the hold.
Gable keeps the hold on till the count of 3 before letting go, as he nods to himself and on instinct looks to the corner but once again, he is all alone tonight. AJ is struggling back to his feet using the ropes as Gable follows up by grabbing hold of him and hitting a DRAGON SUPLEX! AJ lands with a hard thud but Gable doesn’t make the cover! Gable then pauses for a moment before heading to the top rope as he lines AJ up looking for a DIVING MOONSAULT! HE FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE… BUT CRASHES AND BURNS!
Gable lands with a hard thud hurting his knees and stumbles to his feet as AJ pounces with a REVERSE DDT PLANTING GABLE! AJ doesn’t rest even though he maybe should as he grabs hold of Gable and locks him in the CALF CRUSHER! AJ yanks on the lethal hold as Gable is clearly in pain in the hold, with the commentary team wondering if AJ going for this is him trying to end this match as quickly as possible, worried he could be in danger of losing.
Styles doesn’t have the hold locked in as tight as he would like on the left leg due to the damage to his left arm but it is still causing a ton of pain! Gable looks to reach the ropes and crawls to it! AJ tries to press on Gable to stop his movement BUT GABLE GETS TO THE BOTTOM ROPE! AJ though doesn’t let go of the hold till the count of 4 as HE SLAMS THE LEFT LEG OF GABLE ONTO THE MAT! Boos from the crowd for the cheap move but AJ doesn’t care.
AJ looks at Gable who is wincing due to his leg and starts to pepper Gable with a series of punches and kicks, pulling off the PHENOMENAL BLITZ BEFORE FINISHING UP WITH A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX ACROSS THE RING! Gable lands with a thud as AJ HITS A LOW ANGLE FOREARM SMASH WITH HIS RIGHT ARM! AJ makes the cover 1 2 Gable kicks out! AJ is in full control of the match now and even gets a bit cocky as he asks Gable on the mat where his mentor is right now?
AJ starts working over Chad Gable again as he lifts him off the mat and connects with a SERIES OF SUPLEXES! He slams Gable on the mat though is slightly slower than normal following up due to the damage to his left arm! AJ follows up with covers after each suplex but each time Gable kicks out at 2 staying alive! AJ is starting to get very frustrated and wonders how he is going to put away Gable as he grabs him off the mat… BUT GABLE COUNTERS LOOKING FOR THE ANGLE SLAM…
STYLES ESCAPES AND HITS A PELE KICK STUNNING GABLE! Styles was nearly caught out but he doesn’t stop there as he connects with a SUPERKICK TO THE JAW DROPPING GABLE TO THE MAT! AJ doesn’t make the cover as he wants to make sure Gable stays down for good this time as he lifts him up off the mat SLAMMING HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A DEADLIFT DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Gable lands with a hard thud as AJ makes the cover 1 2 Gable kicks out!
Gable’s United States title reign is in serious danger of coming to an end as AJ is now in total control. Gable looks up whilst laying on the mat and AJ GRABS HIM BY THE JAW! He taunts Chad Gable and tells him he has no one to lean on for advice! Gable is all alone AND RESPONDS BY PUNCHING AJ IN THE JAW SENDING HIM BACK! AJ is staggered as Gable grabs him from behind and HITS AJ WITH CHAOS THEORY (O’CONNOR ROLL INTO BRIDGING GERMAN SUPLEX)! Gable holds on tight!

AJ barely kicks out at 2.9!
AJ’s cockiness nearly cost him the entire match! Styles is still down whilst Gable takes a moment to get back to his feet after coming so close to ending this match. Gable winces slightly and thinks through his next move, as AJ tries to stumble back to his feet SO GABLE HOISTS HIM OFF THE MAT HITTING A MASSIVE OVERHEAD GERMAN SUPLEX! Styles lands with a hard thud on the mat near the ropes as Gable heads to the top rope! He steadies himself on the top rope and FLIES OFF HITTING A DIVING MOONSAULT SUCCESSFULLY THIS TIME!

AJ SURVIVES ONCE AGAIN!
Gable looks shocked that he couldn’t put the Phenomenal One away and looks around, trying to think what he can do to finish AJ off! Gable shakes his head before looking to the crowd and nods his head ready to bring this to an end as he looks to go for THE ANKLE LOCK! He grabs the left foot of AJ BUT AJ FLICKS HIM OFF AND SENDS GABLE CRASHING INTO THE ROPES! Gable bounces back and AJ HITS HIM WITH USHIGOROSHI! AJ winces in pain grabbing his left arm before making the cover

Gable kicks out!
Gable survives once again as AJ looks furious and is ready to tear his soccer mum hair out! He gets on the mat and lays into Gable with several punches to the head! AJ then has an idea as HE SCOOPS HIM FOR THE OLYMPIC SLAM PLANTING GABLE! AJ just used Kurt’s finisher on Gable! Loud boos from the crowd for the disrespect as AJ makes the cover

GABLE POWERS OUT AND LOOKS FURIOUS!
AJ looks in shock as he goes to hit Gable with a series of punches BUT GABLE STRIKES BACK WITH A SERIES OF THEM BEFORE SLAMMING HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Gable is on fire as he runs off the ropes connecting with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Gable scoops AJ off the mat and looks to go for AN OLYMPIC SLAM OF HIS OWN… BUT AJ FLIPS OVER LANDING ON HIS FEET! AJ LOOKS TO FOLLOW UP WITH A PELE KICK… GABLE COUNTERS WITH A DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP BEFORE TRANSITIONING INTO AN ANKLE LOCK!
Gable has the hold locked in tight and wrenches on the left leg of AJ Styles as he looks to force a tap out once again! AJ is in a ton of pain as the commentary team once again talk about the mind games backfiring on AJ and he has been underestimating Gable throughout the match! AJ is screaming in agony in the middle of the ring as he tries to get to the ropes but Gable has it hooked tight in the middle of the ring! AJ IS TRAPPED AND LIFTS HIS LEFT ARM…
AS AJ USES THE LAST OF HIS STRENGTH TO PUSH OFF THE MAT AND FLIPS GABLE OFF INTO THE ROPES!
GABLE BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AS AJ GRABS HOLD OF HIM AND SCOOPS HIM UP FOR THE STYLES CLASH…

GABLE KICKS OUT!
The crowd goes wild in shock as AJ cannot believe that Gable was able to survive the Styles Clash! AJ argues with the referee and even grabs his shirt before being told he will be disqualified if he does not back up. AJ shakes his head in anger before heading to the ropes, knowing how he needs to end this match! He climbs onto the ring apron and sizes up Gable for the PHENOMENAL FOREARM! He flies off the top rope… BUT THE DAMAGE TO HIS LEG AND ARM CAUSES HIM TO SLIP SO GABLE CATCHES HIM AND HIT THE OLYMPIC SLAM! Gable makes the cover!

CHAD GABLE IS STILL THE UNITED STATES CHAMPION!
Winner via pinfall and still United States Champion: Chad Gable (23:04)
A massive pop from the live crowd as Chad Gable lays next to AJ Styles on the mat for a moment, having been put through the wringer by the former World Champion during this match! Eventually, he gets to his feet and gets a massive pop from the live crowd as the referee passes him the United States title which he lifts in the air getting another pop from the fans.
Michael Cole: A massive win for Chad Gable tonight as he beats AJ Styles for the United States title.
Elias: And he did it without Kurt Angle to guide him.
Michael Cole: Angle may have helped him defeat Samoa Joe but there was no help with this victory. Gable did it all alone tonight.
Elias: How will AJ be feeling though after all the trash he talked about during the weeks leading up to this match? AJ thought he had the match in the bag and instead came up short tonight?
As Gable is still celebrating in the ring, we see AJ Styles struggling back to his feet. He knows his body giving out was the difference in the end during the match. Gable who has the United States title on his shoulder looks over to AJ Styles as the two men have a stare down. The silence remains awkward for a while before Chad Gable offers AJ a HANDSHAKE! Cheers from the crowd as AJ looks at Gable’s hand for a long while… BUT LEAVES THE RING AND STORMS UP THE ENTRANCE RAMP!
Michael Cole: Well it looks like AJ isn’t interested in sportsmanship tonight.
Elias: AJ is a winner and hates to lose.
As AJ Styles leaves we see Kurt Angle walk out with the Phenomenal One shoulder-blocking him on the way up the ramp. Kurt heads down the ramp and joins Chad Gable in the ring as he hugs his mentee and lifts his arm into the air as the cheers carry on.

We cut to the backstage area and what looks like a dark part of the arena. The camera focuses on a man sitting in the dark looking away from the camera. The man rises to his feet and we see it is SETH ROLLINS! He has an evil smirk on his face as he sticks his arms out.
Seth Rollins: Sunday is known as the lord’s day. So it’s time to say a prayer for Edge.
His smirk only grows even bigger as he says that whilst the fans boo the shit out of Seth. Seth brings his arms down and shakes his head.
Seth Rollins: A few months ago, that reaction might have bothered me. But you people have made your choice as Edge has made his.
The smile is gone and Seth is now more sinister.
Seth Rollins: I’ve given up on saving you people. Now it is time to save those willing to be saved.
Seth looks towards the sky.
Seth Rollins: Edge, the only way to save you is to send you where you belong.
Seth looks from the sky to the ground. Wonder what he is implying?
Seth Rollins: You talk about me being fake but I’ve seen every bad deed you’ve done over the years. All the people you stepped on to get to the top yet these people treat you like a hero?
Seth is now staring at the camera and is starting to unravel.
Seth Rollins: I was their hero once… they aren’t easy to fool.
Seth slowly gets quiet as he says that before smiling once again.
Seth Rollins: Tonight I’ll save not only you but the roster and the fans from your manipulation.
Seth starts to do his annoying as fuck laugh like only he can.
Seth Rollins: Say hi to your kids for me.
Seth walks off on that end note as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

Michael Cole: Seth is out to not only beat Edge tonight but is also looking to end his career for good.
Byron Saxton: A no holds barred match means these two men can do whatever they want to each other. It’s going to be a fight.
We then cut to the ring as we see the majority of the superstars taking part in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal stood in the ring. We can see names like RUSEV, EC3, JINDER MAHAL, ERIC YOUNG, KILLIAN DAIN, ALEXANDER WOLFE, KALISTO, R-TRUTH and more standing as we wait for the final few superstars to make their entrance.
The first of 10 featured entrances for this match as JOHN MORRISON walks out getting a pretty decent pop from the fans. He even takes the time to do the slow-motion entrance for the fans before walking to the ring.
Michael Cole: John Morrison saw his best friend win the Intercontinental title from Daniel Bryan. Can John Morrison earn himself a shot at that title?
Byron Saxton: He could go after the United States title on Raw or the North American title on NXT instead as well.
A mixed reaction for MVP and LIO RUSH as the newest tag team on Monday Night Raw make their way out. Lio Rush is pumped up, ready to compete for the first time at Wrestlemania after being a manager for Bobby Lashley last year. MVP meanwhile looks calmer and more assured having been on Wrestlemania before.
Michael Cole: MVP wasn’t originally happy about Lio signing them up for this match but realizing he could become United States Champion made MVP change his mind.
Byron Saxton: But Lio Rush won’t be looking to let MVP win. The young kid will want to win and make a name for himself by taking home the gold!
Loud boos from the live crowd as BARON CORBIN walks out with a smug smirk on his face and he even has a KURT ANGLE SHIRT ON to further wind up the fans. He points at it and reminds the fans he ended the career of the Olympic legend which gets a YOU SUCK chant started up from the crowd as Corbin revels in the heat.
Michael Cole: Baron Corbin is one of two men in this match who are former winners.
Byron Saxton: It helped kick start Corbin’s career and another win tonight will not only wind the fans up but put Corbin in line for some gold, something he hasn’t held for a long time now.
A decent reaction from the live crowd as NXT Superstar KUSHIDA walks out! The smarky crowd reacts well to the former New Japan Superstar who walks to the ring in full Back to the Future-inspired gear.
Michael Cole: KUSHIDA has won titles in Japan and proven himself to be a dangerous threat in his short time down in NXT.
Byron Saxton: KUSHIDA could be a dangerous threat to any of the potential champions he could face if he wins tonight.
Boos from the crowd as ERICK ROWAN marches out in a flannel shirt and jeans still cutting an imposing presence. He ignores the booing fans and climbs into the ring, glaring at everyone in the ring.

A massive mixed reaction from the live crowd as the King of Strong Style SHINSUKE NAKAMURA makes his way out! He still gets a lot of cheers from the smarky crowd even though he is a heel and plays up to it on the way to the ring, even taunting Rusev who is standing inside death glaring at his former tag team partner.
Michael Cole: The Ungovernables have had a bad start to Wrestlemania with Garza missing out on the Money in the Bank briefcase and Andrade losing his Universal title.
Byron Saxton: Zelina will be looking to get things back on track and Shinsuke winning this match could do just that.
A pretty decent pop as one-third of the New Day XAVIER WOODS makes his way out with his signature trombone. He plays for the crowd and looks pumped even dressed in what looks to be a Metal Gear Solid-inspired outfit. Once in the ring, Corbin noticeably mouths off at Woods but he gets ignored for now.
Michael Cole: The only member of the New Day yet to win singles gold, tonight Woods gives himself the chance to follow in his friend’s footsteps.
Byron Saxton: Big E picked up the win last night and is Mr. Money in the Bank, can Woods keep the run going for the New Day?
A pretty decent pop from the crowd but a few smarks boo as DAVID ARQUETTE walks out! He poses at the top of the ramp and soaks in the fan reaction, getting to live out a lifelong dream tonight to wrestle at Wrestlemania. Once inside the ring, Corbin makes a few jibes which Arquette ignores.
Michael Cole: David Arquette is one of two men in this match who are former WCW World Champions. Could Arquette stun the world and earn himself the chance to be a champion once more?
Byron Saxton: Well we saw him give Corbin a better fight than expected, maybe if he does the good old Jerry Lawler he might have a chance!
And last but certainly not least THE BIG SHOW marches out onto the stage! The former Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner gets a decent reaction from the crowd as he walks to the ring with everyone standing inside looking at the legend.

Whilst KUSHIDA works on Shinsuke Nakamura on the mat John Morrison noticeably is holding onto the ropes showing he is struggling due to the attack from KUSHIDA and Tony Nese tries to take advantage but Morrison outsmarts him pulling down the ropes eliminating Nese!

Rusev turns around and comes face to face with Heath Slater who he takes down with ease! However, after that Kalisto runs in hitting a dropkick! Rusev and Kalisto head to a corner whilst we can see Woods and Corbin still fighting out. In the other corner, Arquette is struggling a little bit BUT SOON GETS SOME HELP FROM ZACK RYDER! Ryder sends EC3 backward as Arquette fights Drake Maverick! Both men fight them off and send them to opposite corners before hitting a DUAL BROSKI BOOTS! Arquette and Ryder head to the center of the ring as Ryder pulls out a pair of sunglasses from his trunks passing them to Arquette as they do a WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT TAUNT!
Cheers from the crowd AS EC3 CLOBBERS THEM BOTH FROM BEHIND! EC3 looks pissed off as he grabs Zack Ryder and tosses him from the ring eliminating him! Drake comes over to help EC3 BUT GET PUSHED TO THE MAT BY HIS BOSS! EC3 berates him before going back to attacking Arquette as Dain who has finished fighting Rush and MVP turns to Drake asking “Are you going to take that?” before fighting with Jinder Mahal as Drake looks at EC3. EC3 goes back on the attack on David Arquette getting him onto the ring apron BUT AS HE GOES TO ELIMINATE ARUQTETTE DRAKE MAVERICK LOW BLOWS HIM AND SENDS HIM OUT OF THE MATCH!

Corbin soaks in the heat before coming face to face with THE BEAST FROM BELFAST! Dian starts laying into Corbin to cheers from the crowd whilst outside the ring EC3 taunts Drake before being forced up the entrance ramp. Elsewhere in the ring KUSHIDA and Nakamura are having their own mini-match and Nakamura is really struggling with his leg after the work done by KUSHIDA but he tries to send KUSHIDA out of the ring but GETS BROUGHT DOWN WITH THE HOVERBOARD LOCK! KUSHIDA is taking Nakamura apart body part after body part!
Elsewhere in the ring, we see Alexander Wolfe fighting with Drew Gulak who is also using his submission expertise to try to take him down. Lio Rush and MVP meanwhile are fighting Mustache Mountain and MANAGE TO GET BOTH MEN OVER THE TOP ROPE… BUT THEY AREN’T ELIMINATED! Lio and MVP put the boots to them but they cling on. MVP tells Lio he’ll handle this and points somewhere else. Lio heads off BUT MVP TRIES TO SNEAKILY ELIMINATE HIM BUT LIO SAVES HIMSELF!
He gives MVP a “what the fuck was that bro?” look as MVP says sorry and mentions every man for himself. Lio shrugs and accepts it as MVP turns his back as he goes to attack Slater in the corner ASLIO RUSH DROPKICKS HIM FROM BEHIND AND ELIMINATES MVP! Cheers from the crowd as MVP lands on the outside and smirks slightly going you got me good. Lio shrugs and goes back on the attack in the ring as the smirk from MVP turns to anger as he leaves.

Cheers from the crowd who always love tables as Truth slides it into the ring and sets it up!
We see a confused Heath walk up to Truth wondering what he is doing as Truth says it is how you win before trying to send Slater through the table BUT HE FIGHTS TRUTH OFF! Before both men can react however ERICK ROWAN REAPPEARS AND SENDS BOTH MEN THROUGH THE TABLE! Rowan then picks both men up by the necks and tosses them over the top rope eliminating them from the match! Rowan’s rampage carries on!

They try to power him up but Rowan survives fighting them off for the moment before working over them. Elsewhere in the ring, Wolfe and Dian are working together again as they come face to face with MUSTACHE MOUNTAIN!
The power of Sanity gives the experienced duo some trouble as they battle in the middle of the ring, former NXT tag team champions colliding! They battle for a bit as elsewhere Corbin is battling Apollo Crews and grabs hold of him hitting him with DEEP SIX BEFORE TOSSING HIM OUT OF THE RING SHOUTING GO BACK TO RING OF HONOUR! (Corbin’s best moment) Corbin turns around with a cocky look on his face as he once again is face to face with Lio Rush!

Lio Rush is getting a decent reaction from the crowd though this may come from fighting Baron Corbin as he runs off the ropes hitting him with a LOW DROPKICK! He hits a series of aerial assaults popping the crowd before he heads to the top rope looking for THE FINAL HOUR! He flies off… BUT CORBIN GETS HIS KNEES UP! Corbin looks annoyed as he starts beating down Rush and gets him in position for THE END OF DAYS… WOODS LEAPS OFF THE ROPES HITTING A TORNADO DDT PLANTING CORBIN!
Woods grabs hold of Corbin and takes him over to the ropes as he tries to eliminate him but Corbin holds on and fights back. Elsewhere the Cruiserweights are taking on Rowan 2 on 1 and holding their own as they try to use their speed to take out Rowan but as Kalisto goes for SALIDA DEL SOL… ROWAN COUNTERS AND HURLS HIM ACROSS THE RING! Mansoor follows up and connects with a RUNNING SUPERKICK! Rowan is staggered as Mansoor leaps into the air BUT ROWAN COUNTERS AND TOSSES HIM TO THE RING FLOOR!

The commentary team praises the NXT UK superstar for a very good showing as a rookie but Rowan’s rampage in this match carries on. He heads over to Kalisto and locks him in a FULL NELSON PUTTING THE PRESSURE ON THE BODY OF POOR KALISTO! Elsewhere the battle between the former members of Sanity and Mustache Mountain carries on! Dain is fighting Seven and Bate is taking on Wolfe. Both teams have ended up brawling to the point they have ended up at opposite ends of the ring here!
As they fight we get Woods still trying to get Corbin out of the ring, with these two resuming hostility from Corbin’s comments on Smackdown but Baron keeps finding a way to survive! He even gets desperate enough to rake the eyes of Woods! Woods falls back as Corbin hits a LARIAT! Corbin grabs hold of Woods by the neck and brings him to the ropes pressing him over them as he calls Woods the weak link again BUT WOODS FIGHTS BACK BEFORE USING THE ROPES TO GET A HEAD-SCISSORS ON CORBIN FLIPPING HIM OVER THE ROPES OUT OF THE RING!

Woods holds on, skinning the cat before pulling himself back in, getting the loudest pop of the match so far for eliminating Corbin here! Meanwhile across the ring, Rowan carries on the pressure on Kalisto’s head before going to slam him down to the mat BUT KALISTO COUNTERS WITH A DDT! He rolls away needing to rest after the beating as we see Rush is back on his feet and is exchanging strikes/moves with Woods near the ropes as the two men try to eliminate each other!
Back across the ring Trent has taken control of the battle with Killian Dain and gets him in position to go for the SEVEN STAR LARIAT… BUT DAIN COUNTERS AND SCOOPS HIM UP HITTING THE ULSTER PLANTATION (One-Winged Angel)! Trent is out as Dain picks him up and TOSSES HIM FROM THE RING… BUT AT THE SAME TIME BATE HAS GOTTEN WOLFE ONTO HIS SHOULDER AND SENDS HIM OVER THE ROPES ELIMINATING HIM FROM THE MATCH!

Tyler Bate turns around to see Dain has eliminated his tag team partner and goes right back on the attack, showing no fear of the giant brute as the fans start to chant: BIG STRONG BOI at Tyler Bate! Elsewhere Rush looks like he is about to win the battle with Woods and send him out of the ring but Kalisto charges in as he REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES HITTING A STUNNER SENDING RUSH BACKWARDS! Kalisto grabs hold of Woods and tries to eliminate him from the match but Woods stays alive for now!
Elsewhere we can see Dian has Bate in the corner and hits him with a CANNONBALL SENTON! The agility of the Beast from Belfast is on full show as he backs away from the corner and COMES FACE TO FACE WITH ERICK ROWAN ONCE AGAIN! The two giant trade blows before Dain takes control and plants, Erick Rowan, with THE ULSTER PLANTATION! Dain roars but then BATE SOMEHOW GETS HIM UP HITTING THE TYLER DRIVER 97! The insane power of the NXT Cruiserweight champion is on show again and he grabs Killian Dian tossing him from the ring to eliminate him!

Tyler Bate has to take a moment to rest as tossing out someone the size of Killian Dain took a lot out of him. Lio Rush though seeing this tries to take advantage and catch Bate by surprise but the Brit pushes him off INTO A SALIDA SEL SOL FROM KALISTO! Rush falls to the mat as Kalisto though chooses to not eliminate him as he goes after Bate instead going for a HURRICARNA…BUT BATE COUNTERS GETTING HIM IN POSITION AND STARTS UP AN AIRPLANE SPIN!
A holy shit chant starts up from the crowd as Tyler Bate shows off his insane skills once again before dropping Kalisto to the mat! Bate is a bit dazed after spinning him around so drops to his knee before grabbing hold of Kalisto looking to eliminate him… BUT KALISTO STAYS ALIVE HOLDING ON! Kalisto sends Bate backward with a HANGING SOCCER KICK SENDING BATE TO THE MAT! Kalisto gets ready to springboard off the ropes BUT WOODS CATCHES HIM WITH A DROPKICK ELIMINATING HIM FROM THE MATCH!

And now we are down to four men in the ring: Tyler Bate, Xavier Woods, Erick Rowan and Lio Rush! Bate and Woods look at each other as Erick Rowan is back on his feet! Erick Rowan charges in as they both go after him but the giant takes them down with DUAL CLOTHESLINES! Boos from the crowd as Rowan grabs hold of Woods and slams him down to the mat! He then picks Tyler Bate up and looks like he might be able to eliminate him…
BUT LIO RUSH DROPKICKS THE LEG OF ERICK ROWAN BRINGING HIM TO ONE KNEE AND DROPPING BATE! Rowan falls down as Lio follows up by SPRINGBOARDING OFF THE ROPES AND HITS A SPLASH TO THE BACK OF ROWAN! Rowan falls down but gets to his knees so Lio bounces off the SECOND ROPE HITTING A STUNNER! Rowan stumbles back onto the ropes, resting on them as Lio charges in to take him out… BUT GETS A BIG BOOT FROM ROWAN! Rush is stopped just like that and ROWAN SCOOPS HIM UP POWERBOMBING HIM TO THE OUTSIDE!

Erick Rowan is damn near unstoppable as he turns around, still slightly struggling and comes face to face with Tyler Bate and Xavier Woods. Both men nod at each other as they charge in and attack Erick Rowan! The two Cruiserweights battle with Rowan who tries to fight back but after a long match, he is struggling with the two-on-one assault. Bate goes low as Woods goes high as they hit a TOTAL ELIMINATION ON ROWAN! Rowan is down and the insane strength of Bate comes into play as they try to lift Rowan over the ropes BUT HE FIGHTS THEM OFF!
Even now Rowan is too strong for them! Woods charges back in first but Rowan picks him up and SLAMS HIM INTO BATE! Woods then gets scooped up and locked into a FULL NELSON POSITION BEFORE ROWAN SLAMS HIM DOWN! Rowan stalks him ready to end this BUT BATE GRABS HIM FROM BEHIND AND CONNECTS WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Rowan lands with a hard thud near the ropes as BATE USES HIS STRENGTH TO GET ROWAN OVER THE ROPES ONTO THE RING APRON…
BUT HE HOLDS ON! Bate gives him a series of hard uppercuts trying to take him down but Rowan hangs on! Bate shakes his head as he runs off the ropes BUT AS HE CHARGES IN ROWAN CATCHES HIM WITH ONE HAND AND HOISTS HIM OVER THE ROPES CHOKESLAMMING HIM TO THE FLOOR!

Loud boos from the crowd as John Morrison soaks in the reaction (the opposite of the one he got at the start of the match) having effectively stolen the win from Xavier Woods here tonight! Rowan on the outside glares at Woods before storming off, having come very close to a career-defining win but it is Woods who looks the most heartbroken having had the win in the palm of his hands.
Michael Cole: John Morrison has picked up the win but these fans are not happy with it!
Elias: He used the old Jerry Lawler trick but managed to do it successfully.
Michael Cole: An impressive performance from a lot of the competitors especially Rowan. Rush, Woods and Bate!
Elias: Any of them would have been worthy winners but John Morrison takes home the trophy tonight!
John Morrison is passed the Andre the Giant trophy and lifts it into the air inside the ring acting like the fans are cheering but there is a lot of boos with fans chanting for Xavier Woods who heads up the entrance ramp. The celebrations carry on in the ring as we cut to the backstage area…

As we see THE MIZ watching backstage on a monitor with the Intercontinental title over his shoulder. He has a wary look on his face as THE IICONICS walk up to him looking for an interview.
Billie Kay: Miz, from one iconic duo to part of another one can we just say congratulations.
Miz nods.
The Miz: Thanks Billie, it’s much appreciated.
He looks at the hemp IC title proudly having got his title back.
Peyton Royce: I meant getting someone like Maryse to date you let alone marry you.
Miz gives them a weird look but Billie carries on.
Billie Kay: Yeah I mean she can do so much better.
Peyton Royce: Like Morrison maybe…
The Miz: John has a wife and what does this have to do with anything?
Peyton and Billie act offended by that question.
Billie Kay: OK rude.
Peyton Royce: So rude.
Billie Kay: We were going to ask another question. Not sure we should now.
Peyton Royce: Exactly we can take our hosting duties elsewhere.
Miz shakes his head and takes a microphone from one of them, shooing them off-screen.
The Miz: Leave it to the most must-see show in all of sports entertainment.
That line gets a few boos from the more smarky fans but a lot still cheer for Miz shutting the Iiconics up.
The Miz: Last night, I got this belt back. And the only thing that matters to me more than this title is my wife and kids!
Miz holds the title up showing it off.
The Miz: But this isn’t the Intercontinental title I want to bring with me when I go on every talk show around the country, defend night in and night out in front of the world!
Miz shakes his head.
The Miz: So this Friday on Smackdown, tune in to see the new Intercontinental title!
Miz smiles and brings his promo to a close with one more line.
The Miz: And John, congratulations. You did what you needed to win and if you choose to fight me, I look forward to it.
The Miz walks off as he brings the segment to an end as we cut to the commentary team at ringside.

Byron Saxton: A big announcement for Smackdown. Miz will be bringing a new version of the Intercontinental title to Smackdown!
Corey Graves: So another cow is going to die so we can get another belt? Bryan will not take that well.
Byron Saxton: Bryan is no longer the champion and John Morrison could easily cut ahead of him in line for a shot at the Intercontinental title!
Corey Graves: Do you not care about the environment, Byron?
Big E: Wrestlemania! Don’t you dare be sour. Clap for your former WWE Champion and feel the power!
The usual New Day introduction is done by Big E but KOFI KINGSTON comes out to his old theme song, getting a decent pop by the live crowd. Kofi is even dressed in an attire inspired by his old gimmick before the New Day and he slaps hands with the fans in the front row. He is hyping himself up as we see a bunch of Kofimania signs around the arena.
Byron Saxton: Kofi Kingston at last year’s show, won the WWE title for the first time in his career. His first one-on-one world title shot but this year he has a score to settle.
Corey Graves: Karrion Kross took months of his career and we know Kofi is in the latter stages of it.
Byron Saxton: Karrion reacting badly to Kofi and Big E working together to eliminate him from the Royal Rumble.
Corey Graves: Kross doesn’t believe in friendship and is looking to crush the New Day, by hurting all of them as they care about each other more than they care about themselves.
An eerie silence falls over the arena before the crowd starts to boo! Smoke fills the arena and slowly but surely, we see KARRION KROSS WALK OUT! He is wearing a full trench coat, black gloves and red sunglasses, looking every bit the psychopath he is. SCARLETT BORDEAUX walks out behind him (very awkwardly and limping due to her broken leg) as we hear her voice over the PA! Kross turns to his wife and shares a kiss with her before menacingly walking down the entrance ramp as she heads backstage.
Byron Saxton: Say what you want about Kross. He knows how to make an entrance.
Corey Graves: But he has been more than an entrance since coming here. He has yet to lose a one-on-one match since appearing on Smackdown.
Byron Saxton: Kofi has shown he can shock the world.
Corey Graves: But Kross takes pleasure in stopping miracles. And in his eyes, Kofi’s hourglass is ticking away.
Karrion Kross slowly enters the ring, with him taking off the trench coat and gloves as Kofi Kingston keeps his eyes on Kross the whole time not wanting to lose sight of his opponent tonight. Kross finishes off by passing the sunglasses to the referee before tilting his neck. Kofi remains focused on Kross, as he jogs on the spot before the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!
Once the bell rings KOFI CHARGES IN AND LAYS INTO KROSS WITH A SERIES OF MOUNTED PUNCHES SENDING HIM INTO THE CORNER! He wails on Kross getting warned by the referee before backing up and hitting a DROPKICK TO KROSS AS HE TRIES TO COME OUT OF THE CORNER! Kofi is getting loud cheers for the fire he is showing as he leaps on top of Kross and LAYS IN MORE MOUNTED PUNCHES AS THE CROWD CHANT ALONG! However, as he gets to 10 KROSS FIGHTS BACK SLAMMING KOFI ONTO THE MAT BACK FIRST!
Boos from the crowd as Kross smirks rubbing his jaw as Kofi winces in pain! Kofi gets back to his feet as KROSS TAKES HIS HEAD OFF WITH A WICKED LARIAT! Kofi flips over onto the mat landing on his back as Kross with a couple of moves has already turned the tide! Kross scoops Kofi off the mat and SENDS HIM INTO THE TURNBUCKLE WITH A WICKED SPINEBUSTER! Kofi’s back bounces off as Kross follows up with a series of CLOTHESLINES SMASHING KOFI IN THE CORNER!
Kofi is taking a beating and the fans aren’t happy with Kross in control. Kross charges in to do even more damage BUT KOFI REVERSES WITH A PENDULUM KICK OUT OF THE CORNER! He staggers Kross before climbing to BRET’S ROPE AND HITS A CROSSBODY! Kofi stays on for the cover 1 KROSS POWERS OUT! Kofi lands with a thud a little shocked by the power of the Kross’s kick out but he charges at him catching him with a LEAPING DOUBLE AXE HANDLE!
Kross staggers but stays on his feet so Kofi runs off the ropes and connects with ANOTHER BUT KROSS STILL STAYS STANDING! Kofi runs off the ropes for a THIRD RUNNING AXE HANDLE BUT KROSS SCOOPS HIM UP AND SENDS HIM SOARING WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Kofi lands with a hard thud as Kross turns around with sadistic delight on his face. Kofi is wincing in pain already as the commentary wonder if he has come back too soon?
Kofi starts trying to get back to his feet as Kross CONNECTS WITH A BRUTAL KICK TO THE BACK SENDING KOFI BACK TO THE MAT! Kofi falls to the mat in pain as Kross puts pressure on the lower back by locking Kofi in a CLOVERLEAF! Kofi shouts in pain due to the hold as Kross is putting a lot of pressure on the back of Kofi early here! The former WWE Champion though has a lot of heart and fight still left in him as he crawls to the ropes grabbing hold of them to force a break!
Kross keeps the hold on till the count of 4 before releasing as he backs away from Kofi. Kofi meanwhile struggles as he holds onto the ropes looking to get back to his feet BUT KROSS SMASHES HIM WITH A BIG BOOT SENDING KOFI CRASHING TO THE RING FLOOR! Kross smirks and taunts the crowd, happy with his handiwork in this match so far. Kross also has no intention of letting up the assault as he rolls out of the ring and stalks Kofi on the outside!
Kofi tries to use the ring apron to get back to his feet but KROSS GRABS HIM FROM BEHIND CONNECTING WITH A DRAGON SUPLEX ON THE RING FLOOR! A hard thud as Kofi lays in pain and Kross enjoys the boos, breaking one of these fans’ heroes! He grabs Kofi by the hair getting a warning from the referee but doesn’t care as he BIEL TOSSES KOFI INTO THE RING STEPS BACK FIRST! Kofi’s spine slides down the steps with agony written on his face!
Kross sadistically smirks, enjoying the damage he is doing to Kofi as we can hear the referee starting to count both men out so Kross slides back into the ring to break the count before sliding back out! He scoops Kofi up and GETS HIM IN POSITION TO POWERBOMB HIM ONTO THE STEEL STEPS… BUT KOFI REVERSES IT AND USES THE ROPES/RING APRON TO HIT A TORNADO DDT ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Kofi narrowly avoids a potential career-ending move as both men lay on the floor! Kofi gets to his feet first, still feeling the pain in his back but he rolls into the ring leaving Kross on the outside as the referee starts to count him out!

Kross keeps the match alive but he is clearly affected by the DDT on the ring floor and Kofi knows it HITTING A DROPKICK AS SOON AS HE RE-ENTERS THE RING! Kofi follows up by springboarding off the ropes AND HITS A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE CHEST OF KROSS! Kofi hooks the leg 1 2 Kross kicks out! Kross even though it took longer still had a lot of power in that kick-out as Kofi jumps back a bit before sending Kross back across the ring with a HURRICANRANA! Kross lands on his back but soon gets to his feet as Kofi DOES A DOUBLE JUMP AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES HITTING ANOTHER TORNADO DDT!
The commentary team wonders if Kofi being a veteran is targeting the head after the damage done on the outside as he makes the cover 1 2 Kross kicks out! Kross is down on the mat as Kofi signals to the crowd he is going for the BOOM DROP! He runs off the ropes BUT AS HE JUMPS UP KROSS CATCHES HIM AND COUNTERS INTO A POWERBOMB! Kross holds on for the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out! Just like that Kross turns the tides back in his favor in a brutal fashion!
Kross though looks angry that Kofi was able to mount a fightback and starts to give him a beating with a series of hard strikes to the head! He wails on Kofi before lifting him up and SLAMMING HIM DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Kross however holds on and goes for another one once again hurting the back of Kofi! Kross hoists Kofi up teasing going for a third suplex BUT INSTEAD CONNECTS WITH A BACKBREAKER ONTO HIS KNEE CRUSHING THE SPINE OF KOFI!
Kross though doesn’t drop Kofi and instead STRETCHES HIM OVER HIS KNEE PUTTING AS MUCH AS PAIN AS POSSIBLE ONTO THE BACK OF KOFI! Kofi screams in pain as Kross ramps up the pain trying to break the spine of Kofi during this match! Kofi refuses to quit and Kross knows that Kofi won’t just quit so transitions them back into the air and SLAMS HIM DOWN ONTO HIS KNEE ON MORE TIME! Kofi rolls to the ring floor as Kross makes another cover putting a ton of pressure on his back! 1 2 Kofi kicks out!
Kofi stays alive but does even more damage to his back by kicking out! Kross once again scoops him up and SENDS HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH ANOTHER SUPLEX! Kofi is in a ton of pain and struggling to survive as Karrion Kross stalks him. Kross standing over Kofi BEFORE STANDING ON HIS BACK WITH HIS BOOT! Loud boos from the crowd as Kofi is in big danger here before Kross releases his boot from Kofi’s back! He doesn’t stop laying into him as he locks in the KROSSFACE!
Kross yanks on the neck and presses on Kofi in the middle of the ring! Kross has the lethal hold locked in tight causing a ton of pain to the back of Kofi! Kofi tries to power out of the hold BUT CAN’T GET UP OFF THE MAT DUE TO THE WEIGHT KROSS IS PUTTING ON IT! Kofi winces in pain as Kross has a wild-eyed look on his face! He is putting as much pressure as he can on the back and even taunts Kofi by telling him “TICK TOCK TICK TOCK”!
Kofi is in pain and looks like he might give up but the fans cheer him on! Kofi clenches his fist… AND STARTS CRAWLING TO THE ROPES! Kross yanks back on the hold but Kofi uses all the strength in this leg and his heart to crawl his way to the ropes! Kross though tries to stop him but KOFI MAKES IT TO THE ROPES FORCING A BREAK! Kross though doesn’t hold on till the count of 5 making full use of the count before finally letting go of the hold!
Kofi is still holding onto the ropes, struggling to stand due to the damage done to his back and probably wondering how he can take down Karrion Kross! Kross though doesn’t intend to let Kofi rest and CHARGES IN CONNECTING WITH A BUSAIKU KNEE! Kross uses Daniel Bryan’s finisher and he sends Kofi over the ropes to the ring floor! Kofi lays out cold on the ring floor as Kross smirks at his handiwork and allows the referee to start counting Kofi out as he takes a seat cross-legged in the middle of the ring!

Kross stands at his feet as Kofi grabs hold of Kross’s feet desperately trying to find any way to fight back. Kross smirks and asks if his friends can save him now! He scoops Kofi up and GETS READY TO HIS THE DOOMSDAY SAITO… KOFI COUNTERS AND HITS THE SOS!

KROSS KICKS OUT!
Kofi nearly snuck out a win out of nowhere but Kross powers him off just in time! Kross is furious and tries to charge at Kofi WHO HITS TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Kofi though doesn’t make the cover straight away, still in a massive amount of pain due to the damage done during this match. He eventually crawls over and rests an arm on Karrion Kross!

Kross kicks out!
Kross once again finds a way to stay alive but the kick-out is nowhere near as thunderous as the rest of the match. Kofi meanwhile lies on the mat next to Kross and he nods his head, almost accepting he needs to do more to end Kross. Kofi crawls over to the corner of the ring and uses the turnbuckles to get back to his feet. Kross is still struggling as Kofi nods and looks to go for ANOTHER TROUBLE IN PARADISE! He claps his hands and sizes Kross up as HE SWINGS… AND KROSS DUCKS LOCKING HIM IN THE KROSS JACKET!
He gets the sleeper hold locked in tight as Kofi tries to squirm out of the hold BUT KROSS IS WILDLY CHOKING THE LIFE OUT OF HIM! Kofi tries to get his feet onto the mat to either send Kross into the corner or flip off the turnbuckles into a pin BUT HE DOESN’T HAVE THE ENERGY AS HE SLOWLY FADES! Kross screams at him to tap out as he drags Kofi down to the mat! Kofi though refuses as Kross screams at him to quit but definitely Kofi raises his hand and FLIPS KROSS OFF (Like he did to Joe on that random Smackdown in his title reign in real life) AND PASSES OUT! The referee checks on him, lifting the arm three times but it drops each time so the referee calls for the bell to end the match!
Winner via submission: Karrion Kross (12:07)
Kross holds onto the Kross jacket after the match for a good few seconds before finally letting go of the hold once the referee tells him he will reverse the result. He tosses the beaten and broken body of Kofi down to the mat. He poses in the ring and soaks in the boos from the crowd.
Byron Saxton: Kofi tried to overcome him and he gave it his all but in the end, the body was no longer willing.
Corey Graves: Credit to him, he took the fight to Kross in a fashion we have rarely seen and even came this close to defeating him. However there was no repeat of last year’s miracle.
Byron Saxton: Who can stop Kross?
Corey Graves: I’m not sure Byron. He is looking unstoppable right now.
In the ring, Kross finishes posing before looking at the defeated body of Kofi on the mat and GRABS HOLD OF HIM LOOKING TO DO EVEN MORE DAMAGE! He locks him in the KROSS JACKET ONE MORE TIME AS HE CARRIES ON CHOKING HIM! The referee tries to prise him off but he can’t as the crowd loudly boos Kross until…
A massive pop from the live crowd as BIG E storms out from the back and sprints down the ramp, MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE IN HAND HEADING STRAIGHT FOR THE RING! Big E slides in and swings for Karrion Kross who drops Kofi and escapes out of the ring, heading up the ramp. Big E dares him to come back before bending down to check on his best friend.
Byron Saxton: Thank god Big E was in the back or something dangerous could have happened to Kofi Kingston.
Corey Graves: I do say Big E should focus more on himself but for once I’m glad he doesn’t listen to me.
Byron Saxton: But this will be a reminder to Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns ahead of tonight’s main event.
Corey Graves: He could make another Wrestlemania moment tonight if he cashes that briefcase in!
Big E helps Kofi Kingston back to his feet as the duo pose in the ring as Big E shares a hug in the middle of the ring. Big E lifts Kofi’s arm into the air but Kofi shakes his head and insists on lifting Big E’s arm into the air. He points to his best friend who gets loud cheers from the crowd before we cut to the backstage area…

And we can see DREW MCINTYRE in a medical room getting tape taken off his ribs as he winces slightly. We can hear the doctor ask Drew if he is OK who takes a minute to respond.
Drew McIntyre: I’m not one hundred percent.
He winces again slightly.
Drew McIntyre: But who ever is in this business.
???: True that brother.
The camera pans over and we see THE NWO walk into the medical room! HULK HOGAN (ew), KEVIN NASH, SCOTT HALL AND X-PAC! All 4 men have a smile on their faces and Drew smirks upon seeing the legends.
Kevin Nash: We were walking through the back and well we just want to wish you good luck tonight.
X-Pac: Tonight you get to take over this company like we took over duyba-cee-duyba!
Drew nods.
Drew McIntyre: Well it’s truly an honor to have the backing of the New World Order.
Scott Hall steps forward with a toothpick in his mouth.
Scott Hall: I’ve seen how hard you’ve worked to get back here. All around the world mang.
Drew nods along as Kevin Nash internally thinks hard work is for suckers. Just work smarter.
Scott Hall: And tonight, you will make your dreams come true.
Drew nods, knowing how all his life he has wanted to be WWE Champion.
Scott Hall: Because bad times don’t last but bad guys do!
Scott sticks up his hands for the too-sweet gesture as do the other NWO members and Drew joins in with them getting a big endorsement as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside!

Michael Cole: Drew McIntyre getting an endorsement from legends of the business right there.
Corey Graves: As great as that is, Roman comes from a legendary dynasty. He is the head of the table within his family and he intends to stay at the top of Smackdown tonight!
Michael Cole: Well we will return our focus to that later on tonight but right now we turn to the Women’s division.
We pan around ringside as we see several ladders set up around the ring and see the briefcase hanging above the ring.
Corey Graves: It’s time for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match!
The red carpet is out and we see the paparazzi are here as MELINA makes her out onto the stage soaking in the cheers from the crowd. The A-List Diva has a pair of sunglasses on and is in a full gold attire, signaling what she intends to win by grabbing the Money in the Bank briefcase tonight.
Michael Cole: Melina came back to the WWE at the Royal Rumble and she looks to prove she can hang with the divas of today!
Corey Graves: She has done well but she is stepping into new territory tonight. The Money in the Bank ladder match was not around for the women when she was here last time.
Michael Cole: The Women’s revolution has granted new opportunities to rookies and veterans.
Corey Graves: Speaking of opportunities, Melina will want the opportunity to get her hands on Asuka.
Another decent pop from the crowd as TAYNARA CONTI walks out and we even see a few Brazilian flags being waved in the crowd! She is dressed in yellow, green and blue attire with a Brazilian flag over her back as she walks out and Brazil flags on her cheeks make up wise. She gives the flag to a kid in the front row before stepping into the ring as she shakes hands with Melina!
Michael Cole: Taynara Conti came to Raw still a rookie but she is growing into a future prospect and someone to watch out for in the Women’s division.
Corey Graves: She has to be a dark horse to win this match. Not only does she have something to prove, wanting to defeat Sasha Banks but she has legit martial arts experience which she could use to dissect body parts.
A mixed reaction as RUBY RIOTT makes her way out with a scowl on her face. Some of the more smarky fans cheer for the leader of the Riott Squad as she marches to the ring with a purpose. Once inside she ignores the two babyfaces in the ring and sits in the corner, intensely staring at the briefcase above the ring.
Michael Cole: Ruby Riott comes into this match after being seconds away from being WWE Women’s Champion.
Corey Graves: The pain of just missing out on the title is driving her forward.
Michael Cole: And she has promised she will not wait a moment longer than she has to, when she wins that briefcase.
Corey Graves: We could even see a cash-in later on tonight!
There are a few boos from the crowd but the majority of fans actually cheer for NAOMI as she makes her way out! She has a pair of flashing shades and shoes plus a vibrant attire however it is a very different Naomi who walks to the ring, ignoring the fans and glaring at her rivals tonight.
Michael Cole: Naomi has come back from injury over the last month and she has a whole new attitude!
Corey Graves: She saw what happened whilst she was gone and realized whilst she had the fans’ support, it wasn’t getting her to the top.
A good pop from the crowd as LIV MORGAN skips out next and she is dressed in a red Harley Quinn-inspired outfit! No baseball bat sadly for Liv but she heads down the entrance ramp all smiles, ahead of a big opportunity tonight. She gets into the ring and once again comes face to face with her former close friend Ruby Riott as the two women have a staredown.
Michael Cole: Liv Morgan since being kicked out of the Riott Squad has had the best night of her career. Can she keep that form going tonight?
Corey Graves: Liv has come close to winning gold but as Ruby said, she was the weak link in the Riott Squad.
Michael Cole: I mean Ruby is yet to hold gold in WWE as well.
Corey Graves: Tell her that in the mood she is in Michael and see what happens.
Loud boos from the crowd as SHAYNA BASZLER walks out in her usual attire as she glares at the fans in the crowd with a towel around her neck. She passes it to Jessamyn Duke and Marina Sharif before sending them to the back for the moment. She walks down the ramp and eyes up all the women in the ring so far, looking at her next victims.
Michael Cole: Shayna Baszler has been one of the most dominant forces since she has arrived in WWE.
Corey Graves: Down in NXT she won the Women’s title twice and left a trail of limbs in her wake.
Michael Cole: Hell since coming to Raw, only one woman has beaten her: The Man Becky Lynch.
Corey Graves: The very same woman who defeated Shayna Baszler in last night’s main event. If Shayna wins, do you think she looks to avenge her best friend and take the title from Becky Lynch?
Loud cheers from the crowd as ALEXA BLISS walks out in an all-blue attire with a flowing cloak dressed like Ella from Frozen. She takes the cloak off at the top of the ramp and poses for the fans showing off her usual metal glove on her finger which is painted like ice! She clenches her first and marches to the ring, joining the 6 other women inside the ring.
Michael Cole: Alexa Bliss is one of two former Mrs. Money in the Bank taking part in this match!
Corey Graves: She has won the briefcase and cashed it on the same night before!
Michael Cole: But would she do that to her best friend Ember?
Corey Graves: Maybe she does it to Asuka as revenge for Ember?
And now for the loudest reaction out of everyone, the Boss SASHA BANKS walks out onto the stage. She gets mostly cheers from the crowd even though she is a heel, noticeably in all-black attire with gold sunglasses. She marches down the ramp with a purpose and once inside comes face to face with Taynara Conti!

Once the bell rings, Conti and Banks lunge at each other as they brawl over the ropes going out of the ring! Meanwhile, Naomi goes right after Shayna looking for payback after Money Night and the Smackdown babyfaces all surround Ruby Riott due to their issues with her over the last months! Conti grabs Banks on the outside and SENDS HER FACE FIRST INTO A LADDER! In the ring, Naomi is firing off more aggressively than usual and sends Shayna out of the ring whilst the Smackdown babyfaces toss Ruby out of the ring!
Bliss gets into a fight with Morgan and the two women take each other out of the ring! Back in the ring, we see a face-off between Melina and Naomi! Melina shares a smirk but Naomi remains focused as she goes for a punch BUT MELINA DODGES DOING A MATRIX EVASION INTO THE SPLITS! Naomi looks annoyed and goes for a dropkick BUT MELINA DODGES IT! Naomi lands on her back as Melina jumps into the air looking for a SPLITS LEG DROP BUT NAOMI AVOIDS IT HERSELF AND CONNECTS WITH A HIP ATTACK DROPPING MELINA!
Naomi even takes a moment to pose after dropping her and DOES A SPLITS OF HER OWN! Naomi gets a mixed reaction from the crowd as the camera focuses on the brawl between Banks and Conti outside the ring! Conti has Banks down between the ladder and USES THEM TO TRAP BANKS IN A CROSS ARMBAR! Banks is in a ton of pain as Conti looks to hurt the Boss and gain a measure of revenge on her rival! As she is wrenching on the hold BANKS TAPS OUT… BUT OBVIOUSLY, THAT WON’T SAVE HER FROM THE PAIN RIGHT NOW!
As the pain carries on we can see Naomi next to them and grabbing one of the other ladders set up, sliding it into the ring! She looks at Melina AND CLOBBERS HER WITH THE LADDER SENDING THE VETERAN TO THE OUTSIDE! Naomi gets the ladder in place and sets it up in the middle of the ring as TAYNARA CONTI SLIDES INSIDE! The two Raw competitors come face to face with each other! Naomi smirks and mocks Conti WHO GIVES HER AN ALMIGHTY CHOP TO THE CHEST/NECK AREA SENDING HER BACK!
Naomi is taken by surprise but Conti follows up with a series of kicks sending Naomi back to the ropes! Conti goes for a kick BUT NAOMI AVOIDS IT… BECAUSE BLISS DRAGS HER UNDER THE ROPES AND SENDS HER INTO A LADDER! Conti turns around shrugging BUT GETS HIT WITH A LADDER BY RUBY RIOTT! Conti falls down to the mat and rolls out of the ring! Bliss tries to climb onto the apron but Ruby knocks her off as well sending her to the floor! Ruby turns back around as she sees LIV MORGAN ALSO HOLDING A LADDER!
The two former tag team partners stare each other down as the commentary team wonders if these two are going to fight forever as they charge in WITH THE LADDERS SMASHING INTO EACH OTHER! Both women battle it out and focus on brawling with each other. However in the corner of the ring, we can see SASHA BANKS SNEAK INTO THE RING! A mixed reaction as she tries to steal it BUT THE FORMER RIOTT SQUAD MEMBERS CATCH HER AND BOTH SMASH HER WITH A LADDER SENDING SASHA TO MAT AND OUT OF THE RING!
Ruby and Liv smile at each other for a moment before locking eyes again ready to fight each other BUT SHAYNA BASZLER USES THEIR DISTRACTION TO CLOBBER THEM BOTH WITH A LADDER! Both fall down as Shayna follows up smashing them with the ladder as they drop their ladders and fall out of the ring! Shayna smirks as she sees Melina trying to come back in AND SMASHES HER LADDER INTO THE GUT OF THE VETERAN! Melina bends over and gets whacked in the back with the ladder as well!
Melina is in pain of the mat as Shayna places the ladder she is holding on the mat and looks at Melina with evil intentions! She grabs her left leg and places it between the ladder AS SHE STARTS SMASHING IT UP AND DOWN ON THE LEG OF MELINA! The commentary team says this is the kind of brutality you can face in a ladder match and the A-List Diva who has never wrestled in one of these matches anymore might not be ready for it. Shayna smashes the ladder down one more time as Melina screams in pain and Shayna turns around to see Alexa Bliss standing in front of her!
Shayna smirks looking at her smaller opponent and dismisses her so ALEXA SLAPS HER! Big mistake Bliss as she goes for another but Shayna grabs the arm looking to twist it and snap it as Bliss desperately fights back! Shayna is relentless and connects with a JUMPING KNEE STRIKE! Bliss is staggered as Shayna grabs the arm again BUT BLISS JUMPS ONTO THE LADDER AND USES IT TO HIT A DDT ONTO ONE OF THE LADDERS ON THE RING FLOOR!
Shayna rolls out of the ring for the moment whilst Bliss lays on the ladder recovering BUT GETS A DIVING METEORA FROM SASHA BANKS SPRINGBOARDING OFF THE ROPES! Banks never misses an opportunity to hurt Bliss. Banks grabs one of the ladders on the floor making a bridge between the ropes and the main ladder. She grabs hold of Bliss who is trying to roll away and SLAMS HER DOWN ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE WITH A POWERBOMB! Bliss’s back bounces off the ladder in pain as she rolls out of the ring as Sasha grabs her left arm which still hurts.
She though looks to focus on the job at hand, using the ladder bridge she made to give her a boost up the ladder but before she can get to the top, she is JOINED BY TAYNARA CONTI! Banks goes to strike Conti but noticeably struggles due to the damage done to her arm in the opening minutes by Conti who strikes back and takes control with a series of knees before hitting a SUPERPLEX OFF THE LADDER ONTO THE MAT BELOW! Banks rolls out of the ring in pain as Conti rolls back over to the ladder and looks to climb…
BUT RUBY RIOTT STOPS HER! Ruby grabs the legs of Conti and drags her off the ladder as she sends her head into the mat WITH A HURRICARNA DRIVER! Conti stumbles into the corner of the ring as Ruby looks to one of the ladders on the ring floor and SMASHES CONTI IN THE MID-SECTION WITH IT! She then turns it sideways and slams it into the mid-section again trapping Conti in the corner behind the ladder as Ruby backs up HITTING A DROPKICK TO THE LADDER AND SLAMMING IT INTO CONTI IN THE CORNER!
Conti winces in pain as Ruby climbs onto the ladder ready to do even more damage and take her out of the match as SHE SLAMS CONTI’S HEAD INTO THE LADDER several times… UNTIL LIV MORGAN SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE AND HITS A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB OFF THE LADDER BRIDGE! A holy shit chant starts from the crowd for that insane move out of the corner as Ruby rolls out of the ring and Conti remains slumped in the corner so Morgan starts to head to the ladder and climbs up it!
Morgan though is stopped in her tracks by NAOMI! Naomi stops her before she can get too high up the ladder and lays into her with a series of kicks! She finishes off with a KICK TO THE HEAD AS MORGAN FALLS TO THE MAT! Naomi smirks as Morgan rolls out of the ring and Naomi heads back to the ladder starting her climb! Naomi gets about halfway up the ladder as the crowd cheers loudly BUT SUDDENLY SHE STOPS AND THE CAMERA PANS DOWN TO SHOW SHAYNA HAS LOCKED IN A HEEL HOOK!
Naomi screams in pain as Shayna once again goes after the body parts of her competitors in this match! Naomi tries to climb up the ladder ignoring it BUT SHAYNA HAS IT WRAPPED ON TIGHT! Naomi tries to kick Shayna off but she can’t get enough force as Shayna is WRENCHING ON THE HOLD… MELINA SNEAKS INTO THE RING AND USES THE LADDER BRIDGE TO CLIMB THE LADDER AND GETS NEAR THE TOP OF THE LADDER!
Shayna notices this and breaks the hold BUT FIRST SLAMS NAOMI’S LEG INTO THE LADDER HURTING IT EVEN MORE! Melina is fingertips away from grabbing the briefcase BUT SHAYNA USING THE LADDER BRIDGE CLIMBS ONTO THE LADDER STOPPING HER WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES TO THE BACK! Melina stops just short of the briefcase as Shayna joins her on the ladder and CONNECTS WITH A WICKED GERMAN SUPLEX FROM THE LADDER ONTO THE BRIDGE!
Melina screams in pain due to the damage done to the back and leg so far in this match! Shayna meanwhile lays on her back wincing due to the damage done to herself as Naomi is still trying to climb the ladder but her right leg is in a bad way. Naomi gets about halfway up UNTIL CONTI HITS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE RIGHT LEG! Naomi stops climbing due to the pain and falls from the ladder and rolls out of the ring! Conti is still wincing in pain after the assault from Ruby Riott as she comes face to face with Shayna Baszler!
The two woman look at each other with Shayna in a much better way compared to Conti as she charges in BUT CONTI IS READY WITH A JUDO THROW ONTO THE MAT! Conti doesn’t stop there as she grabs the wrists of Shayna AND CLATTERS HER WITH A BRAZILIAN KICK TO THE HEAD! Shayna falls down to the mat and leaves the ring for the moment. Conti is still in pain after the damage she has taken during this match but she gets STOPPED IN HER TRACKS BY SASHA BANKS WITH A LADDER SHOT TO HER LEFT LEG!
Conti buckles as Sasha smacks her in the HEAD WITH IT! Lethal shot by Sasha and the camera catches a glimpse of Conti who HAS BEEN BUSTED OPEN THE HARD WAY! Sasha though revels in this and looks down at Conti telling her to know her place! Sasha drops the ladder she is holding and LOCKS CONTI IN A MODIFIED BANK STATEMENT USING THE LADDER! Banks is wrenching back on the hold in a brutal fashion as Conti is still bleeding as well from the impact of the ladder shot to the head and is in a ton of pain!
She doesn’t get the full force of the hold onto Conti but it is enough as she has it locked in… ALEXA BLISS APPEARS ON THE TOP ROPE AND CONNECTS WITH TWISTED BLISS ONTO SASHA AND CONTI BREAKING THE SUBMISSION! Conti rolls out of the ring, clearly in a ton of pain as Banks looks to roll away but BLISS STOMPS ON HER BACK STOPPING HER! No love lost on Bliss’s end either! She then grabs hold of Banks and HITS A CODE RED ONTO THE LADDER ON THE MAT SMASHING SASHA’S BACK OFF THE LADDER! Banks is in pain and rolls out of the ring as Bliss rolls away giving some choice words to Sasha as she leaves the ring!
Bliss gets back to her feet having hurt herself with that move as Liv Morgan slides into the going for a LIV KICK… BUT BLISS DUCKS AND CONNECTS WITH A NECKBREAKER! The veteran cunning of Bliss pays off as she stops Liv in her tracks. Bliss picks up the ladder looking to stop Liv and swings at her as LIV SLIDES UNDERNEATH AND TRIPS BLISS UP SENDING HER FACE FIRST ONTO THE LADDER! A nice moment of improvisation by Liv stopping Bliss for the moment as Liv heads to the ladder and starts to climb… BUT IS PULLED OFF BY MELINA!
Liv swings at Melina who goes for MATRIX EVASION AGAIN BUT THE DAMAGE TO HER LEFT LEG MEANS SHE CAN’T DO IT PERFECTLY AND STILL GETS A KNEE TO THE JAW! Melina is staggered but before Liv can do more damage RUBY RIOTT ATTACKS LIV AND NAOMI ATTACKS MELINA! Ruby and Naomi end up taking the duo to the outside as the brawl carries on with Morgan and Melina being sent face-first into the two upright ladders as they fall down in pain!
Naomi and Ruby look at each other as Ruby suggests they work together for the moment. Naomi takes a moment and nods as they share A FIST BUMP! A short-term alliance has formed in the middle of this match between two superstars from opposing brands! They each grab the two ladders on the floor next to them that they just send Melina and Morgan into as they set up a PAIR OF LADDER BRIDGES BETWEEN THE RING APRON AND THE BARRICADE! They look at Morgan and Melina ready to send them through the bridge… BUT IN THE RING THEY SEE SHAYNA TRYING TO SNEAK UP THE LADDER!
Ruby and Naomi both stop Shayna as they pull her down from the ladder and lay into her with a series of kicks keeping her down! However as Naomi is laying into Shayna with a series of kicks, she tells Naomi to hold her in place. Ruby lines Shayna up and CHARGES IN HITTING THE RIOTT KICK TO NAOMI! Ruby stabs Naomi in the back almost straight away and sends her out of the ring! Ruby waves at her before she grabs hold of Shayna hitting her with a SNAP SUPLEX ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE IN THE CORNER!
Shayna winces in pain before leaving the ring, as Ruby smirks to herself and looks to make the climb up the ladder getting halfway to the top… AS LIV LEAPS FROM THE CORNER TO THE BRIDGE ONTO THE TOP OF THE LADDER JOINING RUBY AT THE TOP! The two former best friends start smashing each other with punches at the top of the ladder as they try to knock each other off the ladder. Ruby starts to win out the fight and SLAMS LIV’S HEAD ONTO THE LADDER BEFORE REACHING FOR THE BRIEFCASE… LIV LEAPS INTO THE AIR OFF THE LADDER HITTING A CODEBREAKER TO RUBY AS BOTH WOMEN CRASH TO THE MAT!
Both members of the Riott Squad crash to the floor and roll out of the ring selling the impact of that move to both women. We see Alexa Bliss slide into the ring first with no one around as she slides into the ring and starts to head towards the ladder, still feeling her back… UNTIL MELINA STOPS HER! Cheers from the crowd as the veteran comes face to face with Bliss, with both feeling the effects of this match so far. Bliss tries to go for a swing on Melina BUT SHE EVADES IT AND GRABS BLISS HITTING THE PRIMAL SCREAM (Inverted leg drop bulldog)!
She finishes it off in signature style with a splits at the end and poses for the crowd as Bliss rolls out of the ring selling the impact. Melina goes back towards the ladder and looks to make the climb again but Conti joins her in the ring! Conti is bleeding from her head still after the lethal impact from the ladder earlier in the match. She charges at Melina who avoids her with ANOTHER MATRIX EVASION BUT CONTI COUNTERS WITH A STANDING METEORA CRUSHING MELINA! A brutal attack with the knees from Conti who doesn’t stop there as she brings MELINA TO THE CORNER AND HITS TAYOGOSHI ON THE LADDER BRIDGE IN THE CORNER OF THE RING!
Melina’s back bounces off with a hard thud upon impact as Conti takes a moment to recover and looks towards the ladder… UNTIL SASHA CLOBBERS CONTI FROM BEHIND WITH A BACKSTABBER! Boos from the crowd as Banks talks a whole bunch of trash and stands over the bleeding Conti before heading up the ladder… BUT CONTI GRABS HER LEG STOPPING HER! Banks tries to kick her off but Conti just grabs her again which prompts Sasha to jump off the ladder and toss Conti to the outside following her to the outside of the ring!
She looks under the ring apron and PULLS OUT A TABLE TO LOUD CHEERS FROM THE CROWD! Banks shouts to the fans that she ain’t doing it for them but most of the smarky fans refuse to boo Sasha. She sets up the table on the outside of the ring and looks to lift CONTI UP TO POWERBOMB HER THROUGH IT… BUT CONTI COUNTERS AND LOCKS HER IN THE TAYLOCK! Conti wrenches on Banks desperately stopping her from putting her through the table and wrenches on the arm even more!
Conti keeps on yanking on Sasha and brings her down to the floor, as we see BASZLER AND NAOMI ARE FIGHTING AROUND RINGSIDE! Baszler tries to take Naomi down but Naomi counters with a FINAL CUT ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Naomi then looks at the table and has an idea. She places Shayna onto the table before grabbing a smaller ladder from the ring floor! Naomi climbs to the top rope as she lines Shayna up AND HITS A MOONSAULT OFF THE TOP ROPE HOLDING THE LADDER AS SHE CRUSHES SHAYNA ON THE TABLE!
Naomi hurts her own ribs with that move but Shayna is out cold maybe for the rest of the match! Back in the ring though we see ALEXA BLISS SLIDE IN TRYING TO TAKE THE WIN WHILST EVERYONE IS DOWN! However, Melina would get back to her feet and stop Bliss from climbing the ladder. She is still feeling the effect of being slammed onto the ladder by Conti so Bliss fights her off and hits a DDT PLANTING MELINA’S SKULL TO THE MAT! Bliss gets back up but she is soon joined in the ring by a fellow blonde in Conti!
Bliss noticeably looks a bit wary of going after Conti who is bleeding (maybe Bliss has gotten soft) but she soon gets a wake-up call from Conti who fires off a series of chops BUT BLISS STOPS HER WITH A PUNCH TO THE HEAD! Conti is noticeably dazed by that shot as Bliss looks to follow up with the DDT BUT CONTI COUNTERS AND HITS THE DD-TAY (Hammerlock DDT)! Conti plants Bliss to the mat who rolls out of the ring as Conti looks up to the sky and the briefcase once again as she climbs onto the ladder bridge before heading up the ladder one more time!
She takes her time due to the damage done to her due this match and her face is covered in blood after the brutal shot by Sasha earlier in the match. She is near the top as SASHA SMASHES HER IN THE BACK WITH THE SMALLER LADDER! CONTI STOPS AND SASHA SMACKS HER AGAIN KNOCKING HER OFF THE LADDER! Conti falls to the mat as Sasha drops the smaller ladder away and grabs hold of Conti by the hair AND CALLS HER A STUPID BITCH AS SHE LOCKS IN THE BANK STATEMENT!
Sasha wants to hurt Conti here as she wrenches back on the hold as blood drips down the face of Conti! Sasha carries on the trash talk and tells Conti she is taking her out for good now! Banks is really tearing on the hold and pulls back once again as Conti is in a ton of pain which you can see in her face and looks like she might be about to pass out BUT SHE DESPERATELY REACHES FOR THE SMALLER LADDER NEXT TO HER AND BASHES SASHA IN THE HEAD WITH IT!
Sasha holds on at first until CONTI SLAMS IT INTO THE DAMAGED RIGHT ARM WHICH FINALLY FORCES A BREAK! Banks rolls off as Conti takes a moment to use the ladder to get to her feet before looking at Sasha AND SHE JUST HAMMERS HER WITH THE LADDER SEVERAL TIMES! Conti has snapped and wants to hurt Sasha like she has hurt her during this match! Conti finally drops the ladder after 10 or so shots as she looks to head to the ladder to climb… BUT SASHA GRABS HER LEG STOPPING HER!
Conti kicks her off without even turning around BUT SASHA GRABS HER AGAIN! Conti turns around to stop her… AS SASHA SPITS IN HER FACE! Conti wipes the spit from her face and looks furious as she KICKS SASHA IN THE HEAD! Conti isn’t done and leaps onto Sasha just wailing on her several times before grabbing her and SENDS HER FACE FIRST INTO THE LADDER BRIDGE! Conti then grabs Sasha's head AND SMASHES HER INTO THE LADDER SEVERAL TIMES!
The commentary team mentions they have never seen Conti like this, something inside her has snapped tonight and she wants to make Sasha Banks pay! She grabs Sasha’s prone body who seems out for the count and rolls her onto the ladder bridge! Conti then looks at the briefcase before looking at Sasha one more time and PICKS HER UP! Conti walks up the ladder with Sasha Banks on her back getting one rung from the top. She takes a moment BEFORE FLYING OFF HITTING AN AVALANCHE AIR RAID CRASH THROUGH THE LADDER CRUSHING SASHA BANKS AND HERSELF!
The hatred between Conti and Banks might have taken them both out of this match as the two women lie motionless in the rubble of the broken in half ladder! The crowd chants holy shit as they both lay there motionlessly but the attention is soon back on the others in this match as BLISS STEPS INTO THE RING! She takes a moment to look at Sasha and dismissively waves at her before heading to the ladder as she slowly climbs due to the damage to her back throughout this match BUT SHE IS JOINED BY MELINA ON THE OTHER SIDE!
Melina and Bliss are both feeling the effects of this match as they slowly climb the ladder and look to make it to the top of the ladder! Both women start to fight at the top with Bliss being slightly more vicious as she knows first hand how much winning Money in the Bank means. However, there is a commotion from the crowd and we soon see why AS REAL HORSEWOMEN MEMBERS JESSAMYN DUKE AND MARINA SHAFIR RUN DOWN THE RAMP PUSHING THE LADDER OVER DROPPING BLISS AND MELINA!
Loud boos from the crowd as Shayna’s goons get involved in the match and attack Melina plus Bliss. The commentary team speculates they must have seen Shayna was down and out so came out to buy her some time/stop anyone else from winning. Melina and Bliss after being in a ladder match for nearly 20 minutes are too tried to properly fight back and THE REAL HORSEWOMEN HIT DUAL POWERBOMBS THROUGH THE LADDER BRIDGE IN THE CORNER OF THE RING BREAKING IT!
Bliss and Melina are down for the count as Duke and Shafir share a smirk before seeing Ruby Riott come into the ring! Ruby Riott looks angry as she charges at them and knocks Duke with a punch to the head. Marina though charges in but soon gets slammed down with a SNAP SUPLEX! Ruby looks to head towards the ladder but she is stopped by Duke who drags her off the ladder and starts laying into her. Ruby sends her back with a MASSIVE HEADBUTT… BUT SHAFIR CLOCKS HER WITH A BIG BOOT!
Shayna’s goons are having a big impact on the match and they look to go even more damage to Ruby… BUT LIV MORGAN JUMPS OFF THE ROPES HITTING A SPRINGBOARD FACEBUSTER TO SHAFIR! She smashes Duke’s face off the mat as Ruby sends Marina flying back towards the ropes. Ruby gets to her feet at the same time as Liv as the former friends look at each other and glare at one another… BEFORE TURNING TO THE REAL HORSEWOMEN AND SENDING THEM OUT OF THE RING!
Liv and Ruby after all their issues are forming a temporary alliance to the delight of the live crowd! They aren’t done as they head to the outside and they work together to keep Duke and Shafir down before looking at the dual ladder bridge outside the ring and they nod to each other with a slight smile on both their faces! Liv and Ruby head to the top rope as they line the pair up as RUBY HITS WE RIOT TO DUKE AND LIV HITS A MOONSAULT TO SHAFIR SEND BOTH WOMEN THROUGH THE LADDERS!
Loud cheers from the crowd as both Liv and Ruby take out Shayna’s goons. Both noticeably feel the effects of sending them through the ladder as they slowly rise out of the wreckage and come face to face. Liv and Ruby lock eyes with each other before nodding at each other as they slide into the ring! As soon as they enter the ring though THEY START FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER ONCE AGAIN! Ruby and Liv are both desperate to win the match and fire off on each other but Ruby takes control as she gets Liv up INTO THE AIR READY TO SLAM HER INTO THE LADDER… BUT LIV ESCAPES AND DDT’S RUBY!
Ruby is staggered but gets back to her feet, still determined to pick up the win tonight BUT LIV STOPS HER WITH obLIVion! Loud cheers from the crowd as Liv Morgan gets back to her feet and starts to climb the ladder! Loud cheers for Liv and people start to cheer her name as she gets ever closer to the top of the ladder… HOWEVER, AS SHE CLIMBS WE SEE NAOMI MAKES HER WAY INTO THE RING! Liv though is reaching for the title and GETS HER FINGERTIPS ON THE TITLE… BUT NAOMI STOPS HER WITH A PUNCH TO THE GUT!
Liv is staggered as Naomi gets to the top as well AND SLAMS LIV’S HEAD INTO THE LADDER TOP STEP STUNNING HER! Naomi now tries to reach up but is struggling due to the damage done to her leg during the match AND LIV SMASHES HER IN THE RIBS! Both women start throwing hands as the fans chant for both women… UNTIL SHAYNA BASZLER REAPPEARS AND PUSHES OVER THE LADDER SENDING BOTH WOMEN CRASHING TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!
NUCLEAR HEAT FROM THE CROWD AS SHAYNA SMIRKS TO HERSELF! She winces slightly due to the pain but she repositions the ladder as she taps her head and the camera shows all the carnage all around the ring! Shayna looks furious and lays into her with a series of strikes BUT CONTI COUNTERS LOOKING TO LOCK IN AN ARMBAR ON SHAYNA’S RIGHT ARM! Shayna shouts in pain from the hold as Conti tries to take away the ability to climb! Shayna cries out in pain BUT USES ALL OF HER STRENGTH TO LIFT CONTI UP AND POWERBOMBS HER INTO THE UPRIGHT LADDER FINALLY FORCING A BREAK! Shayna rolls away wincing in pain as she looks to get back up but CONTI GETS TO HER FEET! SHE REFUSES TO GO DOWN!
Conti tries to go for a ROUNDHOUSE KICK BUT SHAYNA DUCKS AND LOCKS IN KIRIFUDA CLUTCH! She uses a modified one-arm version as she only uses the left arm and chokes the life out of Conti slowly! Conti tries to fight a way to escape but with blood pouring down her face it is too much she drops to the mat! Loud boos from the crowd as Shayna smiles evilly before climbing up the ladder. She gets to the top and soaks in the boos as she shouts to the crowd:

The boos carry on after the bell as Shayna holds the briefcase with her right arm and stands over all the wreckage during this match. The camera focuses on Conti who is still bleeding and out cold on the mat, Banks, Duke and Shafir all in different parts of the ringside area out cold. Naomi, Ruby, Bliss and Melina are all slowly starting to come to after the match.
Michael Cole: What a brutal match!
Corey Graves: All of these women put their bodies on the line tonight but in the end, Shayna Baszler walks out with the briefcase.
Michael Cole: Not without some help from her friends.
Corey Graves: Duke and Shafir came in at a pivotal time. If they didn’t stop Bliss and Melina, Shayna might not have had the time to recover.
We get a replay of the big moments within the match minus the moment Sasha busted Conti open. Once the replay finishes we get a shot of Shayna posing at the top of the entrance ramp and she is joined by her goons Duke and Shafir. We then get a shot of Conti being checked on by the medical team.
Michael Cole: Well hopefully our medical team can make sure Conti is OK but up next we see two of the more spooky forces in WWE collide.
Corey Graves: Let’s see how this match between The Fiend Bray Wyatt and The Demon King Finn Balor came about!

We start the video package as we see the introduction of Bray Wyatt in his new Mr. Rodgers-like persona and him meeting Corey Graves. We then get clips over the last few months before seeing him confront Finn for the first time. The next clip shows the aftermath of the Bray attack and then we see Finn make his return at Roadblock, out for blood. The promo finishes by hyping up the Demon as a near-unstoppable force in WWE since arriving before cutting to a final shot of The Fiend cutting an imposing presence in front of an all-black background.

The lights go out for the moment (and hopefully by this time it is dark) as the theme slowly builds. The fans in the arena cheer in anticipation and as the music slowly reaches its crescendo THE DEMON KING FINN BALOR makes his way onto the stage! The crowd goes wild as Finn Balor slowly crawls out in full demon attire and the lights turn blood-red! He takes his time making it down the ramp as the fans go wild for the Demon king.
Byron Saxton: Finn Balor makes sure to only bring out the Demon when he needs it the most and tonight, he may truly need it.
Corey Graves: Finn has had issues with Bray Wyatt in the past and if it was for illness, Bray Wyatt would have already come face to face with the Demon King.
Byron Saxton: But we have seen last year, that the Demon King can be beaten.
Corey Graves: Only two men have ever managed it. Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe. Will Bray Wyatt’s new Fiend persona become the third to do it?
Finn Balor takes his time getting into the ring before getting the crowd to chant along with his theme music, treating the fans like his own personal orchestra. Finn Balor finishes and kneels down in the ring as he awaits The Fiend. His music stops as there is an eerie silence before the lights slowly go off one by one. The Demon King remains unfazed as they all go out until:
The crowd are very unsure of what to make as the music starts to play. Once the “HURT HEAL” starts to play we see the red lights come on and flash for a while until THE FIEND BRAY WYATT slowly marches out on the stage cutting an imposing presence. In his hand, he has a lantern WHICH SEEMS TO BE IN SHAPE OF HIS OWN HEAD?!? He slowly walks down the ramp with a lot of the fans in stunned silence unsure what to make as their phones light up with flashes to catch this entrance.
Byron Saxton: Is…is that…
Corey Graves: Yes Byron it is exactly what you think it is.
Byron Saxton: Bray Wyatt is a sick sick man.
Corey Graves: And this is what Finn Balor has to face tonight. Someone who has truly become a monster. Or at least believes he is a monster.
The Fiend slowly heads to the steel steps and places his lantern on them before climbing into the ring, standing across from the Demon King who remains unfazed. Or maybe he isn’t showing it. The red lights go away (Cause fuck having red lights on whilst someone is wrestling) and the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!
The bell rings as The Fiend just stands there staring at The Demon King Finn Balor. Finn doesn’t move straight away as the fans get to soak in the visual of these two facing off. Finn is the first to move as he CHARGES IN AND HITS A MASSIVE DROPKICK… WHICH BRAY NO-SELLS! The Fiend just stands there and tilts his head as the Demon looks uncharacteristically shocked! He follows up by going for a series of hard strikes BUT THE FIEND ONCE AGAIN NO SELLS IT AND WIPES HIM OUT WITH A WICKED LARIAT IN RETURN!
Finn falls to the mat as the monster tilts his head and approaches Finn Balor who kicks him away which once again doesn’t hurt the monster but sends him back just enough for Finn to head to the ring apron! Finn climbs onto the ring apron as The Fiend slowly approaches him and HITS A HANGING SOCCER KICK SENDING HIM BACK SLIGHTLY BEFORE HITTING A SPRINGBOARD MISSILE DROPKICK FINALLY TAKING HIM OFF HIS FEET… BUT THE FIEND POPS RIGHT BACK UP TILTING HIS HEAD!
The commentary is stunned by this putting over how lethal Balor’s kicks are yet Bray aka The Fiend isn’t even feeling the effects of them! Finn looks in shock and tries to run off the ropes BUT THE FIEND GRABS HOLD OF HIM SLAMMING HIM DOWN WITH AN URNANGE! Finn is flattened once again by this monster of a man who hoists him up off the mat and BIEL TOSSES HIM ACROSS THE RING SENDING HIM BACK FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!
Finn falls over as the commentary team mention we have never seen the Demon King dominated like this, bringing up him even overpowering Bobby Lashley at last year’s Wrestlemania! Finn gets back to his feet as BRAY CHARGES IN GOING TO FOR A BODY AVALANCHE BUT FINN MOVES JUST IN TIME! Bray stumbles out of the corner as FINN HITS AN OVERHEAD PELE KICK STOPPING THE FIEND FOR A SECOND AS FINN PICKS HIM UP AND HITS 1916! Finn drops the Fiend and makes the cover

THE FIEND POWERS UP AT 1!
We rarely see an expression from the Demon King but right now he looks in shock as he looks at The Fiend who just sits up AND GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT! Bray looks to grab Finn's mouth looking to choke him BUT BALOR KICKS HIM OFF AS HARD AS HE CAN IN DESPERATION GETTING SOME BREATHING ROOM! Finn runs off the ropes and looks to go for a SLINGBLADE…BUT THE FIEND JUST SLAMS FINN BALOR TO THE MAT!
The Demon King winces in pain as Bray lifts him off the mat and hits a GUTWRENCH SUPLEX ONTO FINN SLAMMING HIM DOWN! Finn is staggered and seems to be struggling to even mount a fight back as THE FIEND GRABS HIM FROM BEHIND AND PERFORMS A NECK SNAP! Finn falls over onto the mat lifeless as the fans are in total shock at what just happened! Finn isn’t even moving as Bray scoops the lifeless body of Finn off the mat and HITS SISTER ABIGAIL! The Fiend drops Balor to the mat with his finisher BUT DOESN’T MAKE THE COVER!
He could end the match there and then but The Fiend just tilts his head looking at Finn Balor on the mat before looking at his gloves. We see HURT and HEAL written on both of the gloves as The Fiend looks at his hands before dropping the HEAL HAND AND GRABS FINN BALOR BY THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AS HE LOCKS HIM IN A MANDIBLE CLAW WITH THE HURT HAND! He chokes the life out of Finn Balor who can’t fight back! The referee looks over at Finn who is out cold and THROWS THE MATCH OUT GIVING THE FIEND THE WIN!
Winner via stoppage: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (3:45)
The Fiend Bray Wyatt holds onto the mandible claw for a few seconds before finally letting go of the hold! He gets to his feet as the referee is too scared to lift his hand into the air leaving The Fiend to stand in the middle of the ring with an out cold Finn Balor laid out on the mat having been destroyed tonight.
Byron Saxton: I’ve never seen anyone do that to Finn when he is in his demon form!
Corey Graves: That performance was something else.
Byron Saxton: Bray Wyatt, The Fiend just destroyed a former Universal Champion in a matter of minutes.
Corey Graves: The Fiend might just be a terrifying prospect for everyone on Smackdown Live.
The Fiend remains in the ring and tilts his head as the lights start to go off one by one as we cut away from The Fiend Bray Wyatt stood over the broken body of the Demon King Finn Balor as we cut to the backstage area…

They fan themselves as we hear a cough from off-screen. The camera pans over and WE SEE THE BELLA TWINS! The crowd gives them a mixed reaction due to being much more smarky in nature and The Iiconics give them a similarly unfavorable welcome.
Billie Kay: Oh yes, two “Hall of Famers”.
Quotation marks from Billie as neither Brie nor Nikki look impressed.
Nikki Bella: Pretty sure it is confirmed.
Nikki and Brie show off their Hall of Fame rings to the camera plus The Iiconics.
Brie Bella: Do you have these?
Peyton Royce: Well, we weren’t going to tell you but the only reason you got into this year's Hall of Fame is because we turned it down.
The Bella twins look at each other with a “This Bitch” face.
Billie Kay: We wanted to give back to other lesser tag teams.
Nikki and Brie step forward at this point looking fed up.

THE BELLAS SLAP THE IICONICS KNOCKING THE DUO OVER TO A POP FROM THE FANS! The Bella Twins walk off as the Wrestlemania hosts are left holding their faces in pain.
Billie Kay: These Hall of Famers have no respect.
Peyton nods as they carry on holding their faces as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside ahead of the next match.

Michael Cole: Well our hosts aren’t exactly being respectful of one of the newest editions to the Hall of Fame.
Elias: Let’s be honest, when have the Iiconics ever been respectful of anyone?
A mixed reaction with a few boos due to being heels but a lot of cheers for THE UNGOVERNABLES led by Zelina Vega. CESARO and ILJA DRAGUNOV are both dressed in fancy war general like jacket trench coats as they pose at the top of the entrance ramp. They take them off as they enter the ring and pose in the ring ahead of this tag team titles match.
Michael Cole: The Ungovernables came into Wrestlemania expecting a much better weekend but not a single member has been able to win a match this weekend.
Elias: Andrade lost his Universal title, Angel Garza missed out on the Money in the Bank briefcase and Shinsuke Nakamura lost in the Andre the Giant battle royal.
Michael Cole: It’s probably why Zelina is out here in person for this match.
Elias: She wants to make sure her clients have some success this weekend.
A massive pop from the crowd as the World tag team champions THE USOS walk out in their signature hoodies and hold their tag team titles into the air! They looked focused as they walk to the ring but do slap hands with a few of the fans in the front row before joining their opponents inside the ring.
Michael Cole: The Usos have been the standard bearers in the tag team division for the last few years. This has been their division.
Elias: Seven-time tag team champions. Not many teams can match that kind of record and the number of title reigns within the tag team division.
Michael Cole: But tonight they face someone who is a tag team specialist in his own right with a variety of different partners.
Elias: A six-time tag team champion, five times with Sheamus and once with Tyson Kidd. Can Cesaro become a seven-time tag team champion himself?
The usual title introduction are done as Zelina can be seen giving some instructions to Cesaro and Ilja from outside the ring. Once the introductions are finished we see Jimmy step into the ring for The Usos whilst Ilja starts for The Ungovernables as the referee calls for the bell to get this title match underway!
World tag team titles match:
Ilja starts the match off at a fast pace going right after Jimmy Uso with a series of strikes and catches Jimmy Uso off-guard, getting him into the ropes and trapping him for the moment. Ilja runs off the ropes and looks to charge at Jimmy BUT JEY BLIND TAGS IN. Ilja charges in but Cesaro shouts to him there was a blind tag so Ilja stops. Commentary put over the experience of Cesaro who knows all the tricks of the trade as Ilja heads over to him and makes the tag as Jey and Cesaro step into the middle of the ring.
Jey is very confident but so is the Swiss Superman as Jimmy tries to go for a lock-up with Cesaro BUT GET A MASSIVE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO THE HEAD ROCKING HIM! Zelina applauds her client from outside the ring as Cesaro grabs hold of Jey ready to slam him to the mat but JEY ELBOWS CESARO UNTIL HE LET’S GO OF THE HOLD! Jey retreats back to his corner and regroups for a moment holding his jaw as Cesaro smirks to himself.
Jey after consulting with his tag team partner charges back in as Cesaro goes for another EUROPEAN UPPERCUT… BUT JEY USO AVOIDS IT AND HITS A CHOP BLOCK KICK TAKING CESARO OFF HIS FEET! Jey follows up with a JUMPING HEADBUTT before making the cover 1 Cesaro kicks out! A lot more damage is needed to keep Cesaro down as Jey Uso makes the tag bringing Jimmy into the mat. Both men see Cesaro charging forward and connecting with A DOUBLE BACK ELBOW BEFORE HITTING A DOUBLE ELBOW DROP!
Jimmy makes the cover 1 Cesaro kicks out! Cesaro is still pretty fresh as Jey heads back to the apron leaving Jimmy in the ring. Jimmy gives Cesaro a couple of punches looking to lift Cesaro off the mat for a SUPLEX BUT CESARO COUNTERS WITH ONE OF HIS OWN! Jimmy lands on his back and turns around into a BIG BOOT DROPPING HIM! Cesaro grabs hold of Jimmy and brings him over to the corner making the tag BRINGING ILJA BACK INTO THE MATCH!
Ilja has a wicked smile on his face as Cesaro helps lift Jimmy up but before Ilja can strike him Jey Uso climbs into the ring. He goes right after Ilja as they brawl for a minute whilst Jimmy brawls with Cesaro! They end up sending the challengers out of the ring and over the top rope. They then look at each other and nod as they CONNECT WITH DUAL SUICIDE DIVES WIPING OUT THE CHALLENGERS! Zelina outside the ring shakes her head and takes a sip from a water bottle as Jimmy grabs Ilja rolling him back into the ring!
Jimmy climbs onto the apron and connects with a SPRINGBOARD SPLASH as he hooks the leg 1 2 Ilja kicks out! The Mad Russian is grounded for the moment and Jimmy goes to work with a few kicks to Ilja on the mat. Ilja though smiles through the pain and starts to rise as he fires off some strikes of his own staggering Jimmy UNTIL HE COUNTERS WITH A SAMOAN DROP! He drops Ilja and makes another quick cover 1 2 Ilja kicks out as Jimmy rolls to the corner and tags in Jey.
Jey Uso comes into the ring and goes after Ilja as he starts laying into the Mad Russian with a series of LEAPING SHOULDERBLOCKS! Ilja falls to the mat as Cesaro noticeably is having a word with Zelina Vega whilst watching on the apron as the two seem to be talking strategy. Jey Uso meanwhile grabs Ilja and sends him into the corner as he hits a SERIES OF JUMPING CLOTHESLINES IN THE CORNER! Jey makes the tag to Jimmy as the duo starts working over Ilja in the corner of the ring together.
Jey and Jimmy make a few rapid tags leaving Jimmy the legal man in the ring as they go for a DOUBLE UNDERHOOK SUPLEX… BUT CESARO CLOBBERS JEY FROM BEHIND WITH AN EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Boos from the crowd as Cesaro helps his partner and tosses Jey from the ring! Jimmy catches Cesaro with a SUPERKICK as he turns around. Cesaro falls out of the ring BUT ILJA HITS JIMMY USO WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! 1 2 Jimmy kicks out!
The Ungovernables are back in this! Ilja follows up by running off the ropes and connects with a LOW EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He stays on Jimmy and hits him with a variety of punches to the head, trying to wear down one of half of the tag team champions here. He picks Jimmy Uso off the mat and CONNECTS WITH SAITO SUPLEX SENDING JIMMY BACK TOWARDS THE UNGOVERNABLES CORNER! Ilja makes the cover 1 2 Jimmy kicks out!
Ilja gets to his feet as Cesaro is back on the apron so he MAKES THE TAG! Cesaro steps into the ring as he grabs hold of Jimmy AND SLAMS HIM DOWN WITH A SUPLEX ILJA HITS A JUMPING STOMP TO JIMMY! Cesaro hooks the leg 1 2 Jimmy kicks out! The Ungovernables are starting to take control of the match as Zelina watches from the outside and Jey returns to the apron to cheer his partner on. Cesaro is working over Jimmy on the mat and grinding him down, using his power advantage here to control the match!
Cesaro gets Jimmy off the mat and locks him in A SLEEPER HOLD AS JIMMY STRUGGLED! Cesaro even swings Jimmy as he holds him BUT JIMMY ELBOWS CESARO UNTIL HE DROPS HIM! Jimmy looks to make the tag… BUT ILJA KNOCKS JEY OFF THE APRON WITH A LARIAT! Ilja doesn’t stop there as he leaps to the top rope and FLIES OFF HITTING A DIVING VERSION OF TORPEDO MOSCOW WIPING OUT JEY USO!
Back in the ring Jimmy turns back around and goes for a SUPERKICK TO CESARO BUT THE SWISS SUPERMAN COUNTERS SLAMMING HIM DOWN WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Jimmy lands with a hard thud as Cesaro follows up with another MASSIVE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT SENDING JIMMY INTO THE CORNER! Cesaro doesn’t stop there as he connects with a series of CORNER UPPERCUTS as Ilja appears on the apron again so Cesaro makes the tag!
Cesaro hits an Irish whip sending Jimmy Uso toward Ilja Dragunov getting hit with a JUMPING BIG BOOT! Ilja makes the cover 1 2 Jimmy kicks out! Ilja follows it up by connecting with a TEARDROP SUPLEX SLAMMING JIMMY DOWN TO THE MAT! Jimmy winces in pain as Ilja Dragunov follows up with a series of KNIFE EDGE CHOPS BACKING HIM INTO THE CORNER! Jimmy gets a series of CORNER CLOTHESLINES OFF before tagging Cesaro into the match!
Ilja lays in a few clotheslines more before Cesaro picks him up and slams him onto the mat as he makes the cover whilst Jey gets back onto the ring apron 1 2 Jimmy kicks out! Jimmy is in trouble as Jey Uso cheers him on but Cesaro carries on the damage by slamming him down with a BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! Cesaro makes the cover again 1 2 Jimmy kicks out again! Cesaro though is ready to attempt to end this and locks Jimmy Uso in a SHARPSHOOTER!
Cesaro is yanking on the back of Jimmy Uso and trying to force him to tap out! Cesaro has the hold on tight as Jey Uso runs into the ring trying to break it up BUT JEY HITS HIM WITH A SUPERKICK SENDING ILJA INTO THE ROPES BUT ILJA REBOUNDS HITTING THE CONSTANTIN SPECIAL! Jey falls over as Ilja takes him out of the ring and Jimmy is still stuck in the hold but is close to the ropes now as he reaches out AND FORCES THE BREAK!
Cesaro keeps the hold locked in till the count of 3 before breaking it as he argues with the referee which distracts them SO ZELINA CAN SLAP JIMMY IN THE FACE BEHIND THE REFEREE’S BACK! Boos from the crowd as Vega makes her presence felt but Cesaro then grabs Jimmy's legs as he shouts to Ilja on the outside AS THEY GET READY TO GO FOR THE MOSCOW SWING (Giant swing finished with a Torpedo Moscow)! Cesaro goes to start the swing but JIMMY IS FIRED UP AS HE KICKS CESARO OFF SENDING HIM INTO THE CORNER AS ILJA TAGS HIMSELF IN!
Ilja charges at Jimmy Uso GOING FOR TORPEDO MOSCOW… JIMMY CATCHES HIM WITH A SUPERKICK STOPPING HIM! Ilja falls down as Cesaro charges in BUT JIMMY USO CATCHES HIM WITH A SAMOAN DROP! Jey Uso comes up onto the ring apron as Jimmy makes his way over and makes the tag bringing JEY USO BACK INTO THE MATCH! Loud cheers from the crowd as Cesaro and Ilja get to their feet and get met with a SUPERKICK EACH! Both men fall down…
BUT AS THIS IS GOING ON ZELINA CLIMBS ONTO THE APRON HOLDING THE WATER BOTTLE AS SHE STARTS SHOUTING AT THE REFEREE! The referee is confused as The Usos ignore this and get ready to bring this match to an end! Jimmy heads to the turnbuckle closest to where Zelina is arguing with the referee whilst Jey heads to the one adjacent across the ring from him. They climb to the top rope… BUT JIMMY USO SLIPS AND FALLS TO THE RING FLOOR!
He lands with a hard thud as Jey Uso is distracted by this and checks on his partner whilst Zelina jumps off the apron cackling taking a sip from the water bottle she is holding! Jey Uso climbs off the apron to check on his partner BUT CESARO CLOCKS HIM WITH A PUNCH STUNNING JEY! Cesaro follows up BY HITTING A DEADLIFT SUPERPLEX BACK INTO THE SLAMMING JEY DOWN! Cesaro then grabs hold of Jey Uso and spins him around… MOSCOW SWING! Cesaro let's go as Ilja makes the cover!

A mixed reaction from the live crowd as Cesaro becomes a 7-time tag team champion whilst Ilja Dragunov becomes a champion in WWE for the first time in his short career. Jimmy Uso winces in pain on the outside clutching his arm as he shouts to the referee that the turnbuckle was wet. Zelina Vega meanwhile slides into the ring and insists on passing the tag team titles to her clients as they celebrate.
Michael Cole: The Ungovernables hold the tag team titles but thanks to a moment of luck!
Elias: I don’t think it was luck Michael. Look at this replay!
We see a replay appear on the screen and we focus on Zelina Vega arguing with the referee AS THE WATER BOTTLE IS SHOWN IN HER HAND AS SHE THROWS WATER ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! We cut back to the ring as we see The Usos standing together furious and whilst Zelina smirks in the ring with her clients as they carry on celebrating the win tonight.
Michael Cole: Zelina proving to be the difference and The Usos will not be happy.
Elias: The referee didn’t notice the tampering with the top rope cause Zelina used her sleight of hand to mess with the top rope and it paid off.
Michael Cole: I don’t see this issue being over any time soon.
Elias: Well tonight we might see the end of a career that had only just been revived. We will see Edge take on Seth Rollins in a No Holds Barred match. Let’s see how we got here.

We cut to a video package that recaps Edge’s return and comeback to the ring. We see clips of his retirement speech before cutting to him getting to return during the Royal Rumble. We then cut to Fastlane and see Seth Rollins taking him out for a few weeks with a steel chair. We then cut to Seth’s explanation and we see clips of him throughout the year including last year’s Wrestlemania 35 win to become Universal Champion. We then see Edge’s return to finish off the package and his promise to not only beat Seth but to hurt him as the package comes to an end!

The loudest pop of the night as the iconic music of EDGE hits and for the first time in 8 years, he is wrestling at Wrestlemania! Edge takes his time as he comes out with his signature trench coat on. He takes a moment to look out into the crowd and soaks in the reaction before pausing for a moment as he wants for his pyro to go off! Once the signature pose is done, Edge marches down the ramp with a purpose.
Michael Cole: Edge’s return to the ring was a moment of joy for not only him but the fans and his family. He was cruelly robbed of eight years in the ring and forced to vacate his World title but he is now back in the WWE.
Elias: Seth Rollins though tried to take it away from Edge. He tried to end his career once again and put him back on the shelf. I hope Edge kicks his ass tonight.
Michael Cole: We are not supposed to be biased Elias but I agree. There is a reason Big Show had enough and left commentary just to try to stop Seth Rollins.
Elias: I don’t think even Rollins fiancée will be rooting for him tonight…
Massive heat from the live crowd as SETH ROLLINS theme hits. He takes his time walking out before coming out dressed in all white. He has a smug smirk on his face and sticks his arms out in a saviour life pose taunting the fans.
Michael Cole: Seth says he wants to save careers once he is done with Edge but tonight, he is looking to end one.
Elias: Both men are out for blood tonight. This is going to be a fight.
Seth also noticeably has a white robe flowing on his back as Edge in the ring looks furious AND HE AIN’T WAITING FOR SETH TO GET TO THE RING AS EDGE SLIDES OUT OF THE RING! Edge sprints down the ramp and LEAPS ONTO SETH WHO WAS TOO BUSY TAUNTING THE FANS! The referee in the ring calls for the bell to get this match underway!
No holds barred match:
Edge is beating the shit out of Seth Rollins on the entrance ramp to the delight of the fans! He is letting out weeks of anger now he has finally got his hands on Seth and RIPS THE ROBE OFF OF HIM! Edge isn’t done though as he uses the robe to START CHOKING SETH ROLLINS WITH IT! Loud cheers from the crowd as Seth is coughing and spluttering on the ramp. Edge has a wild crazed look on his face as Seth desperately clocks Edge in the stomach a few times to get some space and escape the choke!
Seth crawls away, still struggling after being choked but Edge is far from done. Edge grabs him by the hair and STARTS PUNCHING SETH IN THE HEAD AGAIN! Edge grabs hold of Seth and BACK BODY DROPS SETH ONTO THE BARRICADE! Seth falls into the crowd as Edge climbs over the barricade HEADING INTO THE CROWD LOOKING TO HURT SETH SOME MORE! Seth is trying to get some breathing room but Edge ain’t letting him escape.
Edge meanwhile takes Seth on a little WALK AND BRAWL AS HE BATTERS HIM! They carry on battling through the crowd as the fans go wild and cheer as they get to a plant wearing Edge’s shirt that is available on WWEshop.com. They are holding a cardboard sign which says “Burn Seth down” and EDGE SMASHES IT OVER SETH LEAVING HIM WEARING IT FOR THE MOMENT! Edge then grabs Seth and SENDS HIM INTO THE BRICK WALL BOUNCING OFF IT!
Seth falls to the mat selling the beating he has taken so far from a fired-up and angry Edge. Edge meanwhile looks around the area where they have ended up fighting. He looks for a weapon to do more damage and eventually he finds a metal trash can and EMPTIES IT ONTO THE FLOOR! We also see a wooden plank fall out of it as Edge makes his way over to Seth AND HITS HIM WITH A TRASH CAN! Edge then places it on Seth's head as HE WHACKES IT WITH THE WOODEN PLANK!
Edge doesn’t stop with one or two shots, hitting him several times and even putting a massive dent in the trash can! He fires off so many shots that the wooden plank breaks in half prompting Edge to toss it away. Edge pulls the trashcan off the head of Rollins who is looking totally dazed having had no offense so far this match. He grabs hold of Seth and looks like he is about to DDT SETH ONTO THE TRASHCAN… BUT SETH HITS A LOW BLOW IN DESPERATION!
Massive heat from the crowd as Seth gets his first piece of offense in this match and he had to resort to a cheap shot! Edge falls over to the floor as Seth has to take a moment to gather himself after being battered early on in this match. Seth looks at Edge who is clutching down below as he looks furious BEFORE HITTING EDGE WITH A JUMPING KNEE KEEPING HIM DOWN FOR THE MOMENT! Seth snarls as he looks at Edge before looking at the archway above and he seems to have an idea.
Seth grabs hold of Edge and tells him he makes him sick! He then HITS EDGE WITH A DDT ONTO THE TRASH CAN CRUSHING IT! The commentary brings up Edge’s neck being the reason he was forced to retire and DDTing him onto a trash can might do even more damage. Seth though isn’t happy with just that as he climbs into the stands leaving Edge on the mat before heading to the ARCHWAY AS HE LINES EDGE UP AND FLIES OFF HITTING A PHOENIX SPLASH!
A holy shit chant starts from the fans though a few respond with a “You still suck chant”! Seth gets back to his feet and is now smirking as Edge unsurprisingly isn’t moving on the floor. Seth looks at the fans and asks Edge if he wants to see them even closer as he picks him up AND SUPLEXES HIM ON THE RING FLOOR! Edge shouts in pain as Seth slowly stalks him before grabbing a drink from one of the fans. Seth turns to Edge and POURS THE DRINK ONTO EDGE!
Loud boos from the crowd as Rollins shows total disrespect to Edge before tossing the cup onto Edge. Seth looks towards the stage as he sees the pirate ship in the distance and looks to send Edge that way. He drags Edge off the mat before IRISH WHIPPING HIM INTO THE SET CAUSING EDGE TO BOUNCE OFF IT! Edge’s back slides down the ship as Seth is totally beating the hell out of him. Seth looks to follow up and do even more damage to Edge with another HIGH KNEE… BUT EDGE MOVES JUST IN TIME CAUSING SETH TO SMASH HIS KNEE OFF THE SHIP!
Seth winces in pain after colliding with the ship as EDGE GRABS SETH SLAMMING HIS HEAD INTO THE SHIP SEVERAL TIMES! There is a sense of desperation on the face of Edge as he tries to hurt Seth Rollins! He drops Seth’s head as he falls over and Edge backs away from him as he lines Seth up. Edge once again runs his hands through his hair and has a wild-eyed look on his face BEFORE CHARGING IN HITTING SETH WITH A SPEAR SENDING THEM THROUGH THE PIRATE SHIP ON THE STAGE!
Another holy shit chant starts up from the crowd as the camera focuses on the hole made in part of the set! It takes a good 15-20 seconds before we see movement as Edge grabs Seth AND TOSSES HIM OUT OF THE SHIP! Edge noticeably is holding the back of his neck whilst Seth lays down and out on the floor as Edge thinks about what he wants to do to hurt Seth next. He takes a look at Seth before heading towards the ring and WALKS TO THE RING APRON GRABBING A KENDO STICK!
Edge walks up the entrance ramp and still has a face of pure fury as Seth crawls into the tech area looking to escape from Edge. The Rated R Superstar though will chase Seth to the ends of the Earth right now and catches back up to him as he starts to wail on him with the kendo stick getting off a series of shots to the back of Seth Rollins! Edge is giving Seth’s back a beating here as Rollins cries out in pain! The stick starts to splinter but Edge carries on… UNTIL SETH IN DESPERATION GRABS A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND SPRAYS EDGE WITH IT!
Edge falls back dropping the kendo stick to the floor as he coughs and splutters. Seth ruthlessly follows through BY SMASHING EDGE IN THE HEAD WITH IT! Edge falls back leaning on a table next to him BUT SETH FOLLOWS UP WITH ANOTHER SHOT TO THE SKULL! Edge falls to the floor as Seth tosses the fire extinguisher away and takes a moment to rest on the table himself, having taken a bit of a beating himself so far before looking at the kendo stick on the ground with evil intentions.
He looks at Edge on the floor and stands over him PINNING HIS HEAD DOWN TO THE MAT WITH HIS BOOT BEFORE JAMMING HIM WITH STICK PRESSING ON HIS THROAT! Loud boos from the crowd as Seth goes right for the neck of Edge! The same neck that caused Edge to miss 8 years of his career! Edge coughs and chokes before Seth finally let's go after keeping it pressed for a good 10-15 seconds! Seth soaks in the heat from the crowd as Edge is starting to struggle.
Seth then looks around and sees the tech guy standing by a bunch of equipment and tells him to move. When the guy doesn’t SETH CLOCKS HIM WITH THE KENDO STICK TO LOUD BOOS FROM THE CROWD! Seth is willing to hurt anyone in his pursuit of hurting Edge as he tosses the stick elsewhere before looking around the equipment. He then pulls out some CABLES AND HAS A SINISTER SMIRK! He walks back over to Edge and USES THE CABLES TO CHOKE THE LIFE OUT OF EDGE!
More massive heat from the live crowd as he once again targets the neck of Edge and wants to end his career for good! Edge’s face is starting to turn red due to how much Seth is choking him as Edge desperately tries to find a way to escape and REACHES AROUND FOR A WEAPON… FINDING A KENDO STICK AND SMASHES SETH'S RIGHT KNEE UNTIL HE BREAKS THE CHOKE! Seth rolls away clutching his knee as Edge crawls onto the ramp struggling to breathe dropping the kendo stick!
Edge is still struggling to recover after being choked as he rests on the LED ramp with Seth getting to his feet first. Seth sees Edge crawling on the ramp and lines him up LOOKING FOR A CURB STOMP ON THE LED RAMP… BUT EDGE MOVES JUST IN TIME AVOIDING THE STOMP! Edge gets to his feet and hits a RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP ONTO THE ENTRANCE RAMP! A close call for Edge as the commentary team talks about how lethal that stomp could be to someone with Edge’s career-ending neck issues!
Edge takes a moment to rest on the barricade and noticeably grabs his neck, feeling the impact of Seth's offense early on. Edge grabs hold of Seth looking to send him down the ramp towards the ring with an Irish whip BUT SETH REVERSES IT AND SENDS EDGE INTO THE RING APRON RIBS FIRST! Edge bounces back off as SETH FOLLOWS UP WITH A SLINGBLADE ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Edge winces in pain as Seth looks at him with disgust before heading back to the ring apron.
He looks underneath the ring as we can hear the crowd start up a “WE WANT TABLES” chant which Seth nods listening to as he grabs a table and teases bringing it out… BEFORE PUSHING IT BACK IN! Loud boos again from the crowd as he places it back under the ring. He then takes a moment to pull out a BASEBALL BAT FROM UNDER THE RING! The commentary team mentions that Seth Rollins was the man who brought an end to the career of Sting and this is Sting’s weapon of choice!
He walks over to Edge and cackles to himself in signature Seth fashion as Edge lunges at him BUT SETH RAMS THE BAT INTO THE GUT OF EDGE! The veteran doubles over in pain due to the move as Seth follows it up by SMASHING THE BAT INTO THE BACK OF EDGE! Edge falls to the mat in pain as Seth stands over him and taunts him some more telling Edge he shouldn’t have come back! Seth walks over to Edge and looks like he is going to use the bat to LOCK IN A MODIFIED SLEEPER HOLD WITH IT, TARGETTING THE NECK AGAIN BUT EDGE COUNTERS WITH A MULE KICK DOWN LOW!
It’s all legal and payback for the one Seth did to Edge earlier in the match! Edge grabs a hold of the bat whilst Seth is holding it and USES IT TO HIT A MODFIDED RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Seth falls and he releases his grip on the bat leaving Edge in control of it! Edge takes a moment to get his breath as commentary Edge will have a lot of ring rust and question how his cardio is having not done anything like this for years. Edge seems fine for the moment as he sees Seth trying to get back to his feet and SMASHES HIM WITH THE BAT!
A brutal shot to the head from Edge as Seth Rollins falls to the mat in a ton of pain. Edge doesn’t stop there as he looks at the right leg of Seth Rollins AND CLATTERS IT SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE BASEBALL BAT! Seth cries out in pain due to the damage being done as commentary reminds us that Seth has had to miss months of his career due to injuries to the right leg. Edge finishes off his assault with one more shot to the right leg before tossing the bat away elsewhere!
Edge winces in pain but he might have stopped Seth from using the lethal Curb Stomp in this match. Edge makes his way back to the ring apron and grabs Seth Rollins as he looks to roll him back into the ring but SETH RAKES THE EYES! Desperation move from Seth but it is all legal in this match! Seth grabs hold of Edge and using all of his power lifts Edge up HITTING HIM WITH A BUCKLE BOMB INTO THE RINGSIDE BARRICADE IN THE CORNER!
Seth has to take a moment to recover due to the damage done to his leg by Edge during this match as Edge is laid in a heap in the corner. Commentary mention that Seth has taken people out of action with that move. Rollins meanwhile starts to look under the ring apron for another weapon and pulls out A STEEL CHAIR! The signature weapon of Edge throughout the years and what Seth Rollins used to put Edge on the shelf for nearly a month. Edge has recovered and charges at Seth looking for the SPEAR… BUT SETH USES THE CHAIR TO BLOCK EDGE WHO COLLIDES WITH IT!
Edge falls down to the mat clutching his head in pain as Seth cackles like only he can (and Wolf Beast cringes) before SMASHING THE CHAIR OVER THE BACK OF EDGE! He wails on him several times before dropping the chair on the floor. Edge is struggling and clearly dazed as commentary put over the intelligence of Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins grabs hold of Edge and IRISH WHIPS HIM INTO THE TIMEKEEPER AREA! Edge’s back bounces off the wall as SETH CONNECTS WITH A BIG BOOT WITH HIS LEFT LEG SENDING EDGE CRASHING INTO THE TIMEKEEPER’S AREA!
Seth starts taunting the fans and arguably spending too much time posing. Seth looks to the announce table as he tells Elias and Michael Cole to move. Elias thinks about arguing but Cole convinces him not to as he’ll lose his job like Big Show so he limps away (as he is still injured thanks to EWR)! Seth takes the announce table apart before turning around ready to go after Edge to put him through the table AS EDGE HAS PICKED UP THE RING BELL AND SMASHES SETH IN THE HEAD! Seth falls back as Edge whacks him again in the head before dropping the bell in the timekeeper’s area!
He lines up Seth who is on wobbly legs as EDGE USES THE BARRICADE WALL TO HITTING A DIVING BULLDOG SENDING SETH FACE FIRST INTO THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Seth falls over in pain as Edge stands next to him and looks at the announce table as he has an idea. He grabs hold of Seth Rollins and pulls him onto the announce table! He gets him in position as HE LOOKS TO HIT KILLSWITCH ONTO THE TABLE BUT SETH COUNTERS WITH A NECKBREAKER! The table doesn’t break as Seth gets back to his feet and lifts Edge up AS HE HITS A PEDIGREE THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!
Boos from the crowd as Seth Rollins sends Edge through the table with his mentor’s signature move. Seth noticeably feels the pain his leg is in whilst Edge isn’t moving. Rollins gets back to his feet but has an evil smirk on his face as he grabs hold of Edge and rolls him into the ring. Seth Rollins taunts Edge and shouts to him “It’s time to put you down for good” as he heads to the corner LINING UP EDGE FOR THE CURB STOMP! Edge is struggling to his knees as SETH CHARGES IN…
BUT EDGE MOVES JUST IN TIME AS SETH HURTS HIS KNEE AND EDGE POUNCES USING THE MISTAKE TO HIS ADVANTAGE AND HITTING A KILLSWITCH! Edge uses his best friend’s move to put Rollins down on the mat but doesn’t make the cover still feeling the effects of going through the table or does he want to do more damage to Seth? Edge gets back to his feet looking at and looks at the fans as we hear a “WE WANT TABLES” chant again so Edge nods and heads outside TO GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!
He looks back under the ring and pulls out the table Seth was grabbing earlier getting a loud pop from the fans as well as a thank you Edge chant from the crowd. Edge slides the table into the ring and sets it up in the corner propping it against the turnbuckle. Seth is still down on the mat as Edge makes his way over him and hits him with a series of punches to the head before he looks to Irish whip him into the table… BUT SETH REVERSES AND COUNTERS INTO A RIPCORD KNEE! Seth winces in pain but makes the first cover of the match!

Edge kicks out!
Rollins smirks to himself before touching his knee again which is clearly in pain as he looks at Edge and taunts him on the mat! Seth tells Edge he should have stayed down before grabbing hold of him as he sends Edge into the middle rope! Edge rests on it as SETH RUNS THE ROPES MIMICKING REY MYSTERIO… BEFORE SLIDING TO THE OUTSIDE AND SLAPS EDGE! Loud heat from the crowd as Seth copies not only Rey Mysterio but also one of Christian’s signature moves!
Seth Rollins carries on the taunting and even looks into the crowd as he does Christian’s signature looking for his peeps taunt as the crowd reaches a fever pitch in their boos. Seth follows up by looking at the ring floor as he sees THE STEEL CHAIR HE USED EARLIER IN THE MATCH HAVING EVIL INTENTIONS! He grabs hold of the steel chair and heads back into the ring, Edge is still down as he swings it looking to hurt him… BUT HE AVOIDS IT AND SWEEPS THE LEG SENDING SETH CRASHING TO THE MAT!
Seth drops the chair as Edge grabs hold of it as the two men fight over the chair BUT EDGE WINS OUT AS HE GETS READY TO HIT SETH WITH IT BUT SETH DROPKICKS THE CHAIR INTO EDGE’S FACE! Edge drops the chair and falls to the mat as Seth winces in pain having had to use his injured right knee. It takes Seth a moment before he gets back to his feet glaring at Edge as he looks at the chair on the mat. He grabs hold of Edge lifting him up and HITS GOD’S LAST GIFT (SMALL PACKAGE DRIVER) ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR! Seth makes the lax cover

Seth looks shocked as commentary once again hammers home the neck issues Edge has recovered from. Seth argues with the referee but he makes it clear it was a 2 count! Seth shakes his head furious before looking at the steel chair again ready to do a ton more damage to Edge. He lifts it up into the air AND STARTS SLAMMING IT REPEATEDLY ON HIS BACK SEVERAL TIMES! There is an insane amount of aggression as he wails on Edge with the steel chair before tossing it to the side and making the cover!

Edge kicks out!
Seth once again looks shocked Edge refuses to go down here! Seth is furious that Edge somehow stayed alive and shakes his head. He heads over to Edge and JUST STARTS WAILING ON HIM WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES TO THE HEAD! He is furious and Edge is struggling to defend himself as Seth finally finishes off, dropping him to the mat. Seth sits there for a moment before looking at the chair across the ring having evil intentions! Seth rolls out of the ring and looks under it, looking for another instrument to do even more damage as he PULLS OUT A SECOND STEEL CHAIR!
Michael Cole on commentary realizes what his plan is and talks about Edge having a history of injuring people with CON-CHAIR-COS! They talk about all the neck injuries Edge has had and that this could not only end his career but also paralyze him! Seth climbs back into the ring as he makes his way over to Edge BUT EDGE SHOCKS HIM WITH EDGEUCTION! He plants Seth Rollins who drops the steel chair across the ring as Edge makes the cover for the first time this match!

Rollins kicks out!
Edge doesn’t get angry and just goes right back on the attack as he grabs hold of Seth Rollins, putting pressure on the damaged right knee from earlier in the match! He gets a hold of him as Seth tries to squirm out and gets him locked in the EDGECATOR (Inverted kneeling sharpshooter)! Seth screams in pain due to the damage he has done to not only himself but Edge has done to his right knee in this match and looks to reach out for the steel chairs or someway to break the hold but THE CHAIRS ARE OUT OF REACH!
Edge also positions himself in between the chairs so Seth can’t get to them as he looks to really bend the hold! Seth is in so much pain right now as he lifts his arm into the air! Seth though uses all of his strength to crawl and crawl and crawl as he reaches the ropes! BUT EDGE DOESN’T BREAK AS IT IS A NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH! The ropes don’t break the hold but Seth uses them to pull himself through the ropes and SENDS BOTH MEN FALLING TO THE OUTSIDE… BREAKING THE HOLD!
Both men land on the mat with a hard thud as they sell the impact of falling out of the ring. Edge gets up first and looks like he is ready to end this! He heads to the ring post as he lines Seth Rollins up and charges in… BUT SETH COUNTERS WITH A MID-AIR CURB STOMP! A loud mixed reaction for the insane counter outside the ring as Seth has to roll away having hurt his leg again. After a few seconds, he grabs the prone body of Edge and slowly rolls him into the ring before making the cover as he smirks

EDGE KICKS OUT!
Seth Rollins looks shocked and can’t believe it as the fans go wild! Seth in desperation hooks the leg again much tighter this time! 1 2 EDGE KICKS OUT AGAIN! Seth pulls at his hair before laying into him several times with punches. Seth shakes his head and looks at the two chairs in different parts of the ring as he has an idea! He grabs the first one and PLACES IT UNDER THE HEAD OF EDGE SLAMMING HIS HEAD ONTO IT! Seth tells Edge "you should have stayed with your family" as he looks to grab the other chair!
He slowly lifts up the chair showing it off to the crowd as he turns back around and walks over to Edge WHO SMASHES HIM IN THE RIGHT KNEE WITH THE CHAIR! Seth buckles over as Edge SMASHES IT INTO HIS HEAD THREE TIMES SENDING SETH DOWN TO THE MAT! Edge then drops the chair and heads to the corner as he waits for Seth to rise AND SPEARS HIM INTO THE TABLE IN THE CORNER OF THE RING!
The two men remain in the broken wreckage as Edge gets to his feet first, still feeling the effects of this long war as he drags Seth's prone body out of the corner. Seth isn’t moving as Edge thinks about making the cover BUT HE SHAKES HIS HEAD! He grabs the steel chairs that Seth Rollins brought into the ring, the same weapons used on him to cause him to miss a month of action, nearly ending his career again! He slots one underneath the head of Seth and lifts the other chair up… CON-CHAIR-CO! Edge tosses the chair in his hand away and makes the cover!

EDGE GETS HIS REVENGE ON SETH ROLLINS!
Winner via pinfall: Edge (26:36)
A loud pop from the live crowd as Edge gets payback on Seth Rollins, hitting him with the very same move he hit him with to take him out at the last PPV. Edge is still feeling the back of his neck which is in a ton of pain. Seth meanwhile has not moved in the ring and we see a bunch of medics come out to check on him.
Michael Cole: Edge has done it! He has gotten revenge on Seth Rollins for his betrayal last month!
Elias: Not only that but he has proven he is still one of the top superstars in WWE. He retired as a World Champion and a win like that proves he is still one of the best in the world.
Michael Cole: I think both men are going to need to take some time to recover before they can compete for any titles.
Elias: Well I think Seth might be in the medical room for at least a few weeks.
Seth Rollins is being helped by the medical team and is placed onto a stretcher as we see Edge carry on his celebrations to the delight of the fans before cutting back to the commentary team once again.
Michael Cole: Well Edge is a first-ballot Hall of Famer but let’s take a look at a few other superstars and legends who will be joining him inside the Hall of Fame!

Loud boos from the crowd who are ready to see the main events of Night 2 but instead the Wrestlemania hosts THE IICONICS and walk out with a pair of microphones in hand. They look at the crowd with disgust as even Corey rolls his eyes on commentary.
Peyton Royce: Please can we have a little decorum!
That gets even more boos surprisingly.
Billie Kay: She said can we have a little decorum. Are you people too stupid to know what that means?
Louder boos as Billie rolls her eyes.
Peyton Royce: Clearly you don’t but Billie we can’t get the respect we deserve.
Billie nods.
Billie Kay: Without us, this Wrestlemania wouldn’t have been as Iconic as it is!
The boos are getting louder as Peyton shakes her head.
Peyton Royce: And that’s why as Wrestlemania hosts we want our ownWrestlemania moment.
Billie Kay: So The Bella Twins we are calling you out!

The beating carries on to the delight of the crowd before they each lift a member of The Iiconics up with LITA HITTING THE TWIST OF FATE TO BILLIE KAY whilst TRISH STRATUS LAYS OUT PEYTON ROYCE WITH A CHICK KICK! Loud cheers from the crowd as the legends stand tall over the Wrestlemania hosts to the delight of the crowd!

Byron Saxton: A truly iconic moment but I think it is time we focus on the two main event matches remaining on night two Corey!
Corey Graves: Well up first we will see a rematch of a classic NXT rivalry which is now on the grandest stage of them all.
Byron Saxton: Ember Moon tries to dethrone Asuka and become WWE Women’s Champion.
Corey Graves: Can Ember beat Asuka for the first time in her career? Let’s see how we got here!

We cut to a video package with Asuka telling Ember Moon she has never beaten her. We see images of their long feud in NXT with Asuka winning every time. We cut back to Ember showing her frustration whilst gaming with Alexa Bliss. We then see clips of Asuka making sure she didn’t have to fight Ember at Super Showdown and rigging it to fight Alexa Bliss instead. We also see Asuka’s new vicious attitude in matches with Carmella, Bliss and Liv Morgan.
We then see Ember Moon pulling off a good showing in the rumble with a few eliminations within the rumble match before we cut to clips of the Championship scramble. The main clip we see is Ember Moon pinning Asuka! We then cut to Ember who demands a title match at Wrestlemania before seeing Asuka ducking until finally agreeing to the match if Ember never gets another shot if she loses. The package ends with the point hammered home that Ember has never managed to beat Asuka one on one before we cut back to the ring.

She looks at the ring with a purpose and there is no smile as she poses at the top of the entrance with FLAMES SHOOTING UP FROM THE PYRO! A big entrance ahead of the biggest match of her career tonight.
Byron Saxton: Ember Moon is dressed for war tonight.
Corey Graves: Any time you fight Asuka, you better prepare for war.
Byron Saxton: Ember will be willing to put it all on the line tonight. If she loses tonight, she won’t get another shot at Asuka whilst she is champion.
Corey Graves: You can put it all on the line against her but is anyone truly ready for Asuka?
Ember Moon is in the ring having taken her entrance attire off as she stands in the ring awaiting the champion.
A massive pop from the smarky crowd in attendance who are never going to boo ASUKA! She makes her way out onto the entrance like only she can and has a mask covering her face before taking it off as we can see green paint down her face painted like tears! She does her full entrance as she walks down the ramp and tries to psyche Ember out who remains calm and focused on getting the job done.
Byron Saxton: Ember may not have beaten Asuka before but for someone as unstoppable as Asuka, she is yet to have a win at Wrestlemania!
Corey Graves: Last year she was in the Miss Elizabeth battle royal and the year before she lost to the Queen. Remember Byron only three women in WWE have beaten Asuka in the middle of the ring. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and my darling girlfriend Carmella.
Byron Saxton: All former Women’s champions. But Ember did pin Asuka last month.
Corey Graves: Now can she do it when it truly matters?
Asuka has passed her title to the referee as the usual pre-match introductions are done. Both women stare each other down, neither breaking eye contact. Once the introductions are finished the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!
WWE Women’s title match:
Both women carry on staring each other down after the bell rings. Neither woman says a word before Asuka goes for a SPIN KICK BUT EMBER DUCKS SWEEPING OUT THE LEG OF ASUKA! Ember lays into Asuka hitting her with a series of punches before lifting her up BUT ASUKA COUNTERS INTO AN ARMBAR EARLY! Ember is quick to grab the ropes forcing a break! Asuka holds on till the count of 2 before letting go smirking to herself.
Asuka even stands next to the referee telling Ember Moon “she isn’t ready” which noticeably pisses off the challenger. Ember gets to her feet shaking her arm as she takes her time, not wanting to charge in and make a mistake. She heads back in trying to grab Ember but ASUKA GOES FOR THE ARM… EMBER FIGHTS HER OFF AND HITS A DROPKICK! Ember makes the quick cover 1 Asuka kicks out instantly! Ember will need a lot more to defeat Asuka!
Asuka tries to go on the attack with a series of strikes BUT EMBER CATCHES HER ARM LOCKING IN AN ARMBAR OF HER OWN! Asuka like Ember quickly gets to the ropes as Ember breaks it on the count of 2. Ember is now the one smiling as she quips to Asuka “the champ ain’t ready” which brings a look of pure rage to the champion WHO CHARGES AT EMBER WHO SCOOPS HER UP INTO A FALLAWAY SLAM! Asuka lands with a hard thud as Ember follows up with a HANDSTAND KNEE DROP TO THE GUT OF ASUKA!
Asuka winces in pain as Ember makes another quick cover 1 Asuka kicks out! The commentary team points out each pin will be zapping energy from Asuka and wearing her down. Ember once Asuka kicks out however goes right on the attack as she lays into Asuka with a series of KNEE LIFTS TO THE HEAD! She drags hold of her and connects with an INVERTED DDT PLANTING EMBER! Ember makes the cover again 1 Asuka kicks out again at 1!
Ember noticeably is slightly shaken by this and looks a bit worried. She does go back on the attack looking to grab Asuka WHO COUNTERS WITH A SPINNING BACK FIST SENDING EMBER BACK ONTO THE ROPES! Ember rests against the ropes and Asuka charges in hitting a CLOTHESLINE SENDING EMBER OUT OF THE RING! Ember lands with a hard thud as Asuka climbs onto the ring apron and hits her with a RUNNING SOCCER KICK FROM THE RING APRON!
Ember is staggered but remains standing so Asuka leaps off the apron HITTING A FLYING HIP ATTACK DROPPING EMBER! Asuka lands on her feet with a smirk on her face. Ember lands near the barricade as Asuka follows up by LAYING INTO EMBER WITH A SERIES OF KICKS! Asuka who is normally known for being fairly vicious is going extra ham tonight as she looks to keep Ember down! In the ring, we can hear the referee get to a 5 count as Asuka follows up WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK BEFORE SLIDING INTO THE RING! Asuka tells the referee to count faster

Ember gets back into the ring just in time as the commentary team points out that maybe Asuka is worried she can’t beat Ember and will take the victory anyway she can! Asuka pounces on Ember as soon as she gets into the ring hitting her with a series of strikes. She finishes up by HITTING A SWITCHBLADE KICK TO THE BACK! Asuka pulls Ember away from the ropes and makes the cover 1 2 Ember kicks out! Cheers from the crowd as Asuka shakes her head muttering something in Japanese before reassuming her attack.
She lays into Ember Moon with a series of kicks once again trying to batter Ember before running off the ropes looking for a RUNNING HIP ATTACK… EMBER GETS UP AND COUNTERS WITH A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX! Cheers from the crowd as Ember slams Asuka down to the mat! Ember follows it up by running off the ropes and connects with a BASEMENT CROSSBODY! Ember Moon stays on Asuka for the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out once again but Ember is making progress!
Ember grabs hold of Asuka and looks to do more damage but Asuka pushes her away. She tries to go back on the attack but Ember counters taking her down to the mat with a HEAD-SCISSORS TAKEDOWN! She grinds Asuka down on the mat for a few seconds working over her as Asuka counters it into a pin 1 Ember breaks it kicking out! Asuka gets back to her feet BUT EMBER SWEEPS THE LEG! Ember then flips into a FRONT SPLASH as she hooks Asuka's leg! 1 2 Asuka kicks out!
Ember looks to keep Asuka grounded and runs off the ropes connecting with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Ember makes the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out! Asuka once again stays in this match as Ember heads towards the ropes and climbs to Bret’s rope hitting a DROPKICK KNOCKING ASUKA BACK DOWN! Ember once again makes the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out! Ember Moon is all over Asuka in the opening 5 minutes of this match but is yet to put the champion away!
Ember grabs hold of Asuka looking to lift her off the mat but Asuka fights out of it sending the challenger back with a series of strikes. Ember is slightly rocked as Asuka takes a moment, feeling the effect of the match so far but catches Ember with a LEGSWEEP DROPPING EMBER TO THE MAT! Asuka follows up as she climbs on top of Ember and hits a few strikes before looking to grab her right arm, looking to work over the arm and maybe stop the Eclipse?
Once again Ember is quick to make it to the ropes, fairly familiar with Asuka even if she has never defeated her. Asuka holds onto the arm until the count of 2, looking a little frustrated BEFORE KICKING THE ARM HOLDING THE ROPES! Ember winces in pain as Asuka gets boos from the crowd and a telling-off from the referee. Asuka doesn’t care as she connects with a RUNNING HIP ATTACK AS EMBER IS RESTING ON THE ROPES! Asuka grabs Ember and slams her down across the ring with a DOUBLE UNDERHOOK SUPLEX!
Asuka makes the cover 1 2 Ember kicks out! Asuka is smirking to herself and starts to grind down Ember Moon on the mat targeting the right arm of Ember and twisting it in place. Asuka knows how lethal the Eclipse is and is trying to take away Ember's chance to use the move. Ember does look like she is about to escape from Asuka BUT THE EMPRESS GRABS HOLD OF HER AGAIN CONNECTING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Asuka makes the cover pressing on the right arm 1 2 Ember kicks out!
Asuka goes back on the attack and carries on working over the right arm. Ember is in pain but does try to fight out of it. Asuka sees Ember trying to escape from the hold on her arm and BOOTS HER IN THE ARM BEFORE LAYING INTO EMBER MOON! She is putting extra venom on her kicks knowing how much of a threat Ember is to her title reign. Ember Moon is in pain as Asuka lifts her up hitting another GERMAN SUPLEX! Asuka makes another cover 1 2 Ember kicks out again!
The commentary team talks about this attack from Asuka and mentions that it has to be wearing down Ember Moon! Asuka grabs hold of Ember and twists the arm as she looks to lock in a MODIFIED SLEEPER ON THE MAT PULLING ON THE ARM AS WELL AS THE NECK OF EMBER! The challenger is in pain on the mat but fights free of the hold sending Asuka back before hitting a DISCUSS FOREARM SMASH! Ember does wince after the move but makes the cover on Asuka! 1 2 The Empress kicks out!
Ember looks to keep the attack going as she yanks Asuka off the mat and connects with a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX as she holds on for the bridge! 1 2 Asuka kicks out! Ember is back in control now and looks to wear down Asuka with a series of strikes to the head as she peppers the champion with a series of shots to the head. She grabs hold of Asuka and looks to lock her in a KOJI CLUTCH… BUT EMBER MOON GETS CLOCKED IN THE FACE AS ASUKA SENDS HER BACK!
Asuka goes for a kick to the head BUT EMBER DUCKS AND HITS A PELE KICK! Asuka is staggered as Ember Moon SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE ROPES HITTING A TORNADO DDT! Ember plants Asuka's skull onto the mat as she makes the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out! Ember listens to the reaction of the crowd as she slightly favors her arm before looking to the crowd… as she heads to the top rope ready to go for the ECLIPSE! She lines Asuka up waiting for her to rise… BUT ASUKA ROLLS OUT OF THE RING!
Boos from the crowd as Asuka avoids the lethal move at least in the ring so Ember adjusts her positioning AS SHE HITS A DIVING HURRICANRANA TO SENDING HER INTO THE STEEL STEPS! Asuka lands with a hard thud as the crowd goes wild for the high-risk offense shown by Ember there. She takes a moment to recover on the outside as Asuka remains slumped down on the steel steps having collided with them head first. Ember rolls the champion back into the ring before hitting a SLINGSHOT ELBOW DROP! Ember makes the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out!
Ember is in total control of the match now and looks like she might be able to finish off Asuka here! She rolls Asuka onto her front and locks her in a CROSSFACE! She wrenches back on the hold as she tries to force a tap out from Asuka! Asuka is noticeably in pain but remains defiant, she doesn’t want to lose the title she has held for two hundred and thirty-eight days! Asuka though moves her arm and escapes from the hold twisting the fingers of Ember and doing more damage to the right arm as Ember is in pain and ASUKA HEADBUTTS HER WITH THE BACK OF HER HEAD BREAKING THE HOLD!
Ember falls back as Asuka quickly transitions and GRABS THE RIGHT ARM OF EMBER AS SHE LOCKS HER IN A FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Asuka can’t quite get it to a seated position but she has the hold locked on tight as she tries to either tap Ember out or weaken the right arm taking away the ability to effectively hit the Eclipse! Ember is in pain but like Asuka, she doesn’t want to tap out tonight. This match means too much to her to give up as she adjusts her body and GETS HER FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!
Asuka keeps the hold this time on till the count of 4 before letting go, maybe getting more desperate the longer the match goes on? Asuka looks focused now and is not showing her normal cocky smile. She sizes up Ember CHARGING IN WITH A FLURRY OF KICKS TO THE RIGHT ARM, WITH A LASER FOCUS ON IT! The referee starts the count again getting to 5 before Asuka backs off! The referee tells her off but Asuka follows up with another HIP ATTACK DROPPING EMBER!
Asuka grabs hold of Ember Moon as he hoists her off the mat and SLAMS HER DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Asuka isn’t done there before running off the ropes as she connects with a SHINING WIZARD! Asuka makes the cover 1 2 Ember kicks out! Ember stays alive in this match but the Empress smells blood in the water here. She stalks Ember from behind and looks to grab hold of her going for the ASUKA LOCK! Asuka starts to wrap herself around the body of Ember BUT THE CHALLENGER COUNTER INTO A JACK KNIFE COVER!

Asuka couldn’t get the hold locked in tight and Ember survives but the champion gets to her feet first! Ember tries to go after but Asuka grabs the arm TWISTING IT AND HITTING A KICK TO IT CAUSING EMBER TO WINCE IN PAIN! Ember falls back holding her right arm in pain as Asuka grabs hold of Ember hooking her in AS SHE HITS A HAMMERLOCK DDT PLANTING EMBER MOON TO THE MAT! Asuka makes the cover 1 2 Ember Moon kicks out once again!
Asuka looks annoyed and angry Ember just refuses to stay down on the mat as she shouts something in Japanese before heading to the corner of the ring. She lines Ember up and looks to charge in for another Shining wizard BUT EMBER KIPS UP AND TRANSITIONS INTO A HEADSTAND BEFORE SENDING ASUKA INTO THE CORNER WITH A HURRICARANA! Asuka’s head bounces off the turnbuckle in the corner as Ember follows up with a FOREARM SMASH!
Asuka slumps into the corner as Ember drives her left arm into Asuka's head before heading to the opposite corner and hits a HESITATION DROPKICK! Asuka falls down as Ember drags her out of the corner and makes the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out! Ember isn’t done but following up with a HANDSTAND INTO A KNEE DROP TO THE HEAD! Ember makes another quick cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out again! Ember looks annoyed but instead of looking at the referee grabs the rising Asuka hitting a BASEMENT FLATLINER! Ember makes another rapid cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out!
Asuka once again stays alive as Ember shakes her head and feels her right arm slightly which is still in a bit of pain after the targeted assault from Asuka during this match. Ember then signals to the crowd she is going to end this match! She heads to the top rope as she waits for Asuka to rise to her feet ready to go for the ECLIPSE… ASUKA STAGGERS TO HER FEET AND PUSHES THE REFEREE INTO THE ROPES CAUSING EMBER TO FALL TO THE MAT! SHADES OF TAKEOVER CHICAGO! Ember rises back to her feet… SPIN KICK TO HER HEAD! Boos from the crowd as Asuka hooks the leg with a cocky smirk!

Asuka’s eyes bug out upon kick-out as she turns to the referee who makes it very clear it was a 2 count! Asuka screams in Japanese at the referee as the referee argues back with her and mentions pushing him into the ropes! Asuka stops for a moment before smiling and SLAPS THE REFEREE! Asuka is trying to get herself disqualified here but before the referee can react EMBER ROLLS ASUKA UP!

ASUKA KICKS OUT AND IMMEDIATELY REVERSES IT INTO THE ASUKA LOCK!
Asuka has the hold locked in tight and Corey points out this is how she won at Takeover Brooklyn III! Ember is trapped in the lethal hold and Asuka has it locked in tight as she wrenches back on Ember's neck! We can hear Asuka screaming in Japanese as she desperately tries to get Ember to tap out or pass out! Ember is starting to fade as the camera sees her eyes starting to fade but she moves her body trying to get to the ropes BUT JUST FALLS SHORT AND STOPS MOVING! The referee heads over to Ember and lifts her arm…
AND IT DROPS!
The referee lifts the arm one more time

HE LIFTS IT A THIRD TIME… AND IT DROPS…
BUT EMBER GRABS THE ARM OF THE REFEREE BEFORE HE CAN CALL FOR THE BELL!
Ember still has some fight left and using the last of her strength GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE FORCING A BREAK! Asuka keeps the hold on tight though and doesn’t break until the count of 5! Upon breaking the hold Asuka shouts in Japanese and looks furious as she kicks the ropes in anger! She cannot believe Ember had survived. Meanwhile, the challenger rolls under the bottom rope to the outside of the ring, still feeling the effects of the Asuka lock… AND THE CHAMPION FOLLOWS AFTER HER!
Asuka slowly stalks Ember who is crawling on the ring floor in pain due to the damage from the Asuka lock! Ember ends up on the steel steps resting on them as ASUKA CHARGES IN CRUSHING EMBER WITH A HIP ATTACK AGAINST THE STEEL STEPS! Ember slumps over as Asuka looks at her and looks at the steel steps with a purpose! She climbs onto the steps dragging Ember up with her as she gets her in position to SLAM HER HEAD FIRST ONTO THE STEPS… BUT EMBER COUNTERS WITH A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB ONTO THE RING FLOOR FROM THE STEPS!
Ember and Asuka both lay on the ring floor as the referee gets to a 6 count in the ring! Ember slowly gets to her feet and is feeling the pain but using all her remaining strength she rolls Asuka back into the ring and gets back inside JUST BEATING THE COUNT! Ember rolls Asuka over and makes the cover 1 2 Asuka kicks out! Ember is still exhausted and feels her neck having been locked in the Asuka lock but Ember looks to the top rope and is ready to end this! She lines Asuka up waiting for her to rise to her feet and CONNECTS WITH THE ECLIPSE… BUT SHE CAN’T MAKE THE COVER STRAIGHT AWAY DUE TO HER ARM! It’s only a few seconds before she does, hooking the leg

Ember reacts in total shock! Asuka still somehow kicks out at 2! She remains calm though and stays focused, not wanting to repeat the mistake of the past. She grabs hold of Asuka on the mat, Ember still wincing due to the damage done to her right arm during the match but locks in THE LUNAR LOCK (Modified leg-trap crossface)! Ember wrenches back on not only the leg of Asuka but the head of the Empress as she tries to force her to tap out! Asuka is in a ton of pain with all the damage done to her head!
Ember pulls on the hold harder than any hold she has ever applied in her life before! Asuka is in a ton of pain and tries to get to the ropes, to break the hold! But Asuka is really struggling to survive and TEASES TAPPING OUT… BUT SHE CAN’T BRING HERSELF TO DO IT! Asuka crawls and crawls and crawls to the ropes… BUT WHEN SHE IS INCHES AWAY EMBER BREAKS THE HOLD AND DRAGS ASUKA BACK LOCKING TO REAPPLY IT… BUT ASUKA COUNTERS INTO A ROLL-UP!

Even cheating won’t stop Ember Moon tonight! Both women get to their feet as ASUKA GOES FOR A SPIN KICK BUT EMBER DUCKS AS SHE GRABS THE RIGHT ARM OF ASUKA! She locks her from behind and sweeps the leg BEFORE WRAPPING HER LEGS AROUND THE HEAD OF ASUKA SHE WRENCHES ON HER BODY! The commentary team wonders what this move is as Ember chokes the life out of Asuka in the middle of the ring!
Asuka is wriggling in the middle of the ring as she looks for any way to escape… any way to make it to the ropes and break the hold. Ember though has the grip on tight as Asuka is trapped in the middle of the ring and can’t get any closer to the ropes! She is trapped in the middle of the ring! Asuka is trying to find any way to escape, trying to get an arm free to break the hold BUT EMBER IS NOT LETTING GO OF THE HOLD AS SHE SQUEEZES THE HOLD EXTRA TIGHT… ASUKA RESISTS…

Loud cheers from the crowd as Ember Moon breaks the hold and rises to her feet having finally defeated Asuka in the middle of the ring becoming WWE Women’s Champion! Her right arm is still slightly in pain as Asuka lays on the mat for the moment not moving and almost in shock having lost to Ember Moon, with the Ember even busting out a new move to do it.
Byron Saxton: Ember Moon has finally beat her White Whale! She has dethroned Asuka and become WWE Women’s Champion for the first time in her career!
Corey Graves: Ember Moon pulled out all the stops and learned from her past. All the ways Asuka beat her in the past, she overcame them and even pulled out a submission I’ve never seen from her before!
Byron Saxton: Asuka we have to give credit to though. She has been a dominant champion ever since she won the belt from Becky Lynch at Summerslam.
Corey Graves: All good things must come to an end and Ember was ready for Asuka tonight.
In the ring, Asuka is sat down still looking off into the distance looking almost inconsolable having lost her title tonight whilst Ember Moon celebrates the win at the top of the entrance ramp.
Byron Saxton: But we have one more match left on tonight’s show and it’s time for our main event as Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre challenges Roman Reigns for the WWE title.
Corey Graves: Let’s see how we got to this point!

We cut to Summerslam as we get a recap of Roman turning heel and joined up with Shane McMahon to become the Corporation’s Champion. We see Drew McIntyre getting screwed over before we cut to Roman’s explanation of the turn. He talks about the fans only caring about him once he got cancer and they never had his back. We then see clipsof Drew trying to get revenge but we also see clips of each of his one-on-one matches with Roman with the Big Dog always finding a way to win fairly or unfairly since last year’s Wrestlemania.
Roman even mentions this with Drew making it clear that there will be no one to save him this time, not Shane McMahon, not Baron Corbin, not Randy Orton, Roman is out of allies and friends to save him. The video package finishes by showing Drew beating Randy Orton, squashing Jinder Mahal, Baron Corbin, and Elias in his pursuit of Roman. Roman meanwhile are shown beating Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston and Sami Zayn. We then get the final image of the two men brawling as we cut back to the commentary team.

We see a bunch of men in kilts and traditional Scottish attire lining up at the entrance. They plan on their bagpipes for a little bit before the lights dim slightly as:
A massive pop from the crowd and the loudest one of the night as The Sinister Scotsman DREW MCINTYRE slowly makes his way out in a traditional Scottish kilt. He noticeably has a sword over his shoulder as he walks past the army of people standing to the side. Drew lifts his sword into the air and brings it down setting off a ton of pyro before he walks to the ring with a purpose! However, we can see around his mid-section a bunch of tape around his ribs after being speared through the barricade at ringside two nights ago by Roman Reigns.
Byron Saxton: Drew McIntyre has been chasing a one-on-one match with Roman Reigns where no one else will get involved. Tonight he finally gets the chance.
Corey Graves: But Roman has been untouchable since taking back his spot at the top of WWE.
Byron Saxton: He has had a lot of help along the way.
Corey Graves: But he has also proven he can get the job done by himself with his last three title defenses. The Tribal Chief reigns supreme.
Drew stands in the middle of the ring as he stares dead ahead and is focused on getting the job done tonight as he awaits Roman’s entrance.
A chorus of boos as the final boss of Smackdown Live and WWE ROMAN REIGNS makes his way out lifting his WWE title into the air. He has an air of confidence as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He places the WWE title onto his shoulder before slowly walking down the entrance ramp.
Byron Saxton: Roman is a five-time World champion. Drew McIntyre meanwhile has never won a World title.
Corey Graves: It was something that has eaten away at Drew. Not holding the WWE or the World Heavyweight title in his first run in WWE. So Drew toured the world fighting all sorts of world-class competitors until he got his spot back in WWE.
Byron Saxton: Tonight is the best chance Drew McIntyre will get. The grandest stage of them all against the top star in WWE.
Corey Graves: But Roman is someone he has yet to defeat one on one. Look at last’s year Wrestlemania, The Great American Bash and Halloween Havoc. Each time these two men have faced Roman Reigns has found a way to win.
Roman Reigns is now in the ring standing across from Drew McIntyre. The referee lifts the WWE title into the air as the usual title introductions are done before passing the belts to the timekeeper’s area. The staredown in the ring carries on until the bell rings getting the Wrestlemania Night 2 main event underway!
Once the bell rings, both men step forward staring at each other. They glare at each other for a few seconds before BOTH THROWING FISTS! These two men hate each other and are just throwing haymakers at one another as they try to knock their rivals off their feet and to the mat. The crowd goes wild and chants for Drew McIntyre hoping he knocks Roman not only off his feet but out cold as well! Both men end up by the ropes as Drew is winning the early brawl and SENDS ROMAN OVER THE ROPES TO THE RING FLOOR!
Drew doesn’t stop there as he runs off the ropes and connects with a VAULTING SOMERSAULT PLANCHA WIPING OUT ROMAN REIGNS! Drew gets back to his feet and shows off to the crowd as he grabs hold of Roman outside the ring IRISH WHIPPING HIM INTO THE BARRICADE! Roman’s back slams off the barricade as Corey Graves on commentary mentions Wade Barrett talking to the referee before the match and asking them to be a bit more lenient on the countouts due to the animosity between these two men!
Roman’s back bounces off the barricade as Drew charges in wiping him out with a series of clotheslines as he is pressed against the barricade! Drew isn’t done there and picks him up LAUNCHING HIM ACROSS THE RING SIDE AREA WITH A THUD! Roman lands on his back and winces in pain GETTING A KNEE TO THE JAW! Roman is staggered as Drew looks for a FUTURESHOCK DDT ON THE RING FLOOR… BUT ROMAN COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP!
Drew falls back first onto the mat next to the timekeeper’s area as he looks to get back to his feet… BUT ROMAN CLOCKS HIM WITH A SUPERMAN PUNCH! Drew falls onto the barricade resting against it as the WWE Champion Roman turns to the crowd and taunts them. Drew is staggered as he is leaning against the barricade but Roman has evil intentions. Roman Reigns meanwhile lines Drew up and CHARGES IN HITTING A SPEAR SENDING DREW THROUGH THE BARRICADE BREAKING IT APART!
A holy shit chant starts up from the live crowd as both men lay in the rumble for the time being. The referee comes over to check on them, not counting per the orders of Wade Barrett wanting them to make sure the main event of Wrestlemania doesn’t end in a double count-out! Eventually after a good 20 seconds without movement, Roman gets to his feet as he picks up Drew and TOSS HIM OUT OF THE WRECKAGE INTO THE RING POST! Boos from the crowd as Drew's shoulder bounces off the ring post!
Drew slides down the ring post in pain as Roman grabs hold of the challenger and SLAMS HIS HEAD INTO THE RING POST SEVERAL TIMES! Boos ring out from the live crowd who hate how dominant Roman is early on and he carries this on by IRISH WHIPPING DREW INTO THE STEEL STEPS! He dislodges them completely as Drew is a crumpled mess. The referee tells Roman to bring the match back into the ring but the champion ignores him as he tells the referee he’ll do what he wants!
Roman walks over to Drew and hits him with a series of punches to the head before following up with a series of SHOULDERBLOCKS TO THE RIBS OF DREW WHILST HE RESTS ON THE STEEL STEPS! Bone-crunching moves from Roman Reigns who is in total control and he lifts Drew up SLAMMING HIM ACROSS THE FLOOR WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Drew lands wincing in pain as Roman smirks enjoying this and EVEN STEPS ON THE RIBS OF DREW MCINTYRE!
Roman is taking full advantage of the injury he caused on Friday night! Roman is showing an insane amount of disrespect as he lifts Drew up and looks to SLAM HIM DOWN FRONT FIRST ONTO THE RING APRON! Drew winces in pain as Roman props him up on the apron and rolls Drew back into the ring leaving him facing out of the ring. Roman then runs around the ring post and HITS THE DRIVE-BY DROPKICK! Roman once again relentlessly targets Drew's chest here as he sits on the apron taunting the crowd!
Roman takes his time going back into the ring but does step inside the ring stalking Drew McIntyre. Roman stands over Drew who is selling his ribs which are in incredible pain. Roman meanwhile mounts Drew McIntyre and starts laying into him with a series of punches to the head! Roman then drags Drew up off the mat LOCKING HIM IN AN ABDOMINAL STRETCH! Once again working over the ribs of Drew McIntyre and causing him a ton of pain!
Roman is piling on the pressure in the early stages of this match. Drew you can see the pain on his face but he starts to get free from the hold so ROMAN COUNTERS SLAMMING HIM DOWN ONTO HIS KNEE WITH A GUTBUSTER! Roman makes his first cover of the match 1 2 Drew kicks out! Roman doesn’t stop there as he follows up with a COUPLE OF JUMPING ELBOW DROPS TO THE RIBS OF DREW! Roman is relentless in his assault as he looks to keep Drew down!
Roman makes another quick cover 1 2 Drew kicks out! The commentary team talks about this match being all Roman Reigns since he sent Drew McIntyre into the barricade with a spear! Roman carries on the assault by dragging Drew McIntyre up off the mat and locking him in a CRAVATE POSITION! Roman lays into Drew McIntyre with a series of KNEE STRIKES TO THE RIBS! Roman is putting a ton of force into the knee strikes… UNTIL DREW COUNTERS WITH A LEG HOOK SUPLEX!
Drew doesn’t have the strength to follow up having taken a long beating so far and ends up rolling to the outside to get his bearings back for now. Roman meanwhile winces in pain before following Drew to the outside of the ring looking to do more damage! Drew is BLINDSIDES BY ROMAN WHO SLAMS HIM INTO THE RING APRON A COUPLE OF TIMES! Drew looks to send him into the barricade BUT DREW COUNTERS WITH A GLASGOW KISS! Roman is rocked for the moment AND DREW CAPTALIZES WITH A SPINEBUSTER ONTO THE RING APRON!
Roman’s back slides off the ring apron, clearly in pain after the big move from Drew who takes a moment to catch his breath having taken a beating so far in this match. Drew eventually makes his way over to Roman and knows he will have to do a ton of damage to Roman to play catch up. Drew is more than happy to do that to Roman after over a year of feuding with the champion. He gives him a few stiff knee strikes to the head dragging him onto the ring apron BEFORE HITTING A VERTICAL SUPLEX ONTO THE RING APRON!
A high-impact move from Drew McIntyre as Roman once again falls to the ring floor in a lot of pain. Drew himself has to take a moment to recover having caused both men to hit the hardest part of the ring! Drew recovers first as drags Roman off the floor and rolls him back into the ring making the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out! Drew for the first time since the opening of the match is now the one in control as he hits Roman with a few punches to the head before lifting him off the mat and hitting a BRIDGING NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! 1 2 Roman kicks out!
Roman winces in pain as Drew gets on top of him and hits a series of punches, keeping Roman down for the moment to the delight of the crowd! Drew grabs hold of Roman lifting him off the mat and CONNECTS WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX SENDING HIM ACROSS THE RING! Roman stumbles to his feet struggling after being slammed down to the mat and DREW CONNECTS WITH A BUCKLE BOMB SLAMMING HIM INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!
Drew doesn’t stop there as he connects with a BIG BOOT TO THE HEAD OF ROMAN IN THE CORNER! Roman slumps in the corner as Drew follows up with a series of boots in the corner getting loud cheers from the crowd! Drew makes full use of the 5 count as he peppers Roman with a series of kicks! Drew looks to WRENCH ROMAN OUT OF THE CORNER AND OFF THE MAT FOR A GUTWRENCH POWERBOMB… BUT ROMAN FIGHTS OUT ESCAPES FROM DREW AND CONNECTS WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER!
Roman makes the cover 1 2 Drew kicks out! Roman looks angry that Drew was able to fight back and MOUNTS DREW MCINTYRE PRESSING ON THE RIBS OF DREW! He lays into Drew with a series of hard clubbing forearms to the head! Roman picks Drew back up and brings him back up off the mat locking in another ABDOMINAL STRETCH! Roman is once again targeting the ribs and looking to hurt Drew who is in a ton of pain, with the relentless assault on the ribs!
Roman talks a bunch of trash to Drew McIntyre as he once again gets his body stretched even further by Roman who is hurting the challenger and taking glee from how much pain he is causing. Drew does once again look like he is about to escape from the hold BUT ROMAN GOES TO TRANSITION BUT DREW COUNTERS HIMSELF WITH A BACK BODY DROP! Roman falls on his back as Drew runs off the ropes and GOES FOR THE CLAYMORE… ROMAN ROLLS UNDER THE ROPES TO BOOS FROM THE CROWD!
Drew lands on his back as Roman escapes being hit by the most lethal move in Drew’s arsenal. Drew doesn’t want to wait for Roman to come back into the ring and slides outside chasing after Roman Reigns! Roman tries to stumble away as Drew clobbers him from behind dropping him on the floor before SLAMMING HIM DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Drew is starting to take control after surviving the early onslaught from Roman and Roman wants none of it!
Drew grabs Roman once again bringing him back into the ring and heads to the corner of the ring lining him up for the CLAYMORE! He waits for Roman to rise and charges in… BUT ROMAN AVOIDS IT ONCE AGAIN AND CONNECTS WITH A SUPERMAN PUNCH TO THE HEAD! Roman smirks as he makes the cover 1 2 Drew kicks out! Roman looks angry that Drew did not stay down and lifts Drew off the mat hitting him with a POWERBOMB TO THE MAT!
Drew lands with a hard thud but Roman doesn’t stop there! Roman scoops him up again for ANOTHER POWERBOMB! Roman isn’t done again and HITS ANOTHER ONE! Three powerbombs from Roman and some could say it is the start of a symphony? Roman makes the cover 1 2 Drew kicks out! Roman looks angry and scoops Drew up off the mat one more time this time hitting an SIT-OUT CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB AS HE HOOKS THE LEG! 1 2 Drew kicks out!
Roman is getting annoyed he can’t put Drew McIntyre away and end this match. However, the champion is ready to try to end this as he lifts Drew off the mat and looks to LOCK HIM IN THE GULLTIONE CHOKE… BUT DREW ELBOWS ROMAN IN THE GUT SEVERAL TIMES AND FIGHTS HIM OFF HITTING A RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP! Roman falls to the mat on his back wincing in pain and Drew would try to capitalize by locking him in the IRON MAIDEN (Chicken-wing over-the-shoulder crossface)!
Drew is wrenching back on the hold as he tries to force Roman to tap out and looks to put pressure on not only his right arm but also the back! Roman is in pain and tries to make it to the ropes but Drew has it locked in tight keeping Roman away from the ring ropes and trapped in the middle of the ring! Roman starts to realize this and instead starts to use his power to rise back to his feet whilst Drew has the hold locked in tight. Roman gets to a standing position AND LEAPS INTO THE AIR ONTO HIS BACK FORCING A BREAK FROM THE HOLD!
Drew rolls away as Roman winces in pain as he struggles with his back at this point. He noticeably seems to be checking his arm and touches his fist feeling it to make sure he is OK. Drew charges in meanwhile as he tries to grab hold of Roman but gets an ELBOW TO THE GUT! Drew stumbles backward as ROMAN RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND LOOKS FOR A SUPERMAN PUNCH BUT DREW GRABS HIS ARM CATCHING THE FIST… AS WE CAN SEE THE BRASS KNUCKLES ON HIS HAND!
Drew smirks and HITS THE GLASGOW KISS HOLDING ONTO ROMAN BEFORE YANKING THEM OFF HIS FIST! Drew looks at them before tossing them to a lucky fan in the crowd! A free souvenir! Drew is still holding onto Roman meanwhile and clobbers him with a SECOND GLASGOW KISS! Roman slumps down and Drew hoists him up into the air hitting him with a DEADLIFT POWERBOMB! He slams Roman down onto the mat giving him a taste of what Roman did to him earlier in the match as he makes the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out!
Drew takes a moment to rest next to Roman as he thinks about what to do next. He starts giving Roman a series of boots to the head before hoisting him off the mat AND SLAMS HIM DOWN WITH AN ALABAMA SLAM! Drew makes the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out! Drew is now ready to bring this to an end and once more heads to the corner as he lines Roman up READY FOR THE CLAYMORE! The crowd chant along as Roman slowly rises to his feet and DREW CHARGES IN ONCE AGAIN…
ROMAN AVOIDS IT AND GRABS DREW FROM BEHIND LOCKING IN THE GUILLOTINE CHOKE! Roman gets the hold locked in tight as he starts trying to choke the life out of Drew McIntyre in the middle of the ring BUT DREW USES HIS STRENGTH TO RAM ROMAN INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING! Drew does it several times until Roman finally releases the hold! Drew gets some breathing room due to the damage of being in the choke even for a few seconds.
Drew looks to charge in at Roman in the corner BUT ROMAN COUNTERS WITH A FLATLINER ONTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Drew stumbles out of the corner as Roman connects with a SUPERMAN PUNCH TO THE HEAD! Drew falls to the middle of the ring as Roman snarls at him looking to line him up to end this! He waits for Drew to stumble to his feet and CHARGES IN CONNECTING WITH THE SPEAR… BUT DREW FLIES BACK AND ROLLS OUT OF THE RING TO THE FLOOR BEFORE ROMAN CAN COVER HIM!
Roman looks angry before he shakes his head and follows Drew to the outside of the ring! Roman picks up Drew McIntyre and lays into him a series of blows! He isn’t done as he grabs Drew McIntyre and looks to SLAM HIM RIBS FIRST ONTO THE BARRICADE… BUT DREW SLIPS OUT! Roman turns around and GETS A BRUTAL GLASGOW KICK TO THE HEAD! Roman is staggered as Drew hoists him up and SLAMS HIM ONTO THE BARRICADE WITH A POWERBOMB!
Loud cheers from the crowd as Roman slides down the barricade selling the impact of the move. Drew takes a moment to catch his breath due to the damage done to his ribs. He grabs hold of Roman and rolls him back into the ring ready to end it this time! He grabs hold of Roman, dragging him off the mat by his head BEFORE HITTING A SPINNING FUTURESHOCK DDT! Drew makes the cover

Drew remains focused on getting the job done as he looks to grab hold of Roman once again and get him off the mat. He looks to lift him onto his shoulder maybe going for a CELTIC CROSS… BUT ROMAN SLIPS OUT AND SCOOPS DREW MCINTYRE UP OFF THE MAT AND HITS A JACKHAMMER! Loud boos from the crowd as Roman steals Goldberg’s famous finisher! Roman makes the cover

Roman looks furious that Drew dared survive but doesn’t waste much time as he grabs Drew once again and locks in the GULLTIONE CHOKE! Roman makes sure Drew can’t make it to the turnbuckles or the ropes as he squeezes the life out of Drew! Drew is starting to fade and looks like he might be about to pass out… BUT USING THE LAST OF HIS STRENGTH HE POWERS OUT OF IT AND POWERBOMBS ROMAN BREAKING THE HOLD!
Roman rolls away from the middle of the ring as Drew rolls to the ropes opposite to him and the two men stare each other down! Both men struggle to their feet for different reasons (Drew wincing in pain due to his ribs and Roman due to the damage done to his back throughout the match)! They both look at each other and meet in the middle of the ring as THEY START TRADING PUNCHES! Both men are evenly matched with the fans cheering when Drew takes control and booing when Roman takes control!
Drew is in winning out the exchange and sends Roman into the ropes BUT ROMAN BOUNCES BACK LOOKING HITTING A SUPERMAN PUNCH! Boos from the crowd as Roman catches Drew on the rebound! Drew is down on the mat as Roman taunts him and tells him it always ends the same way! He heads to the corner and lines Drew up for the SPEAR! He waits for Drew to rise to his feet AND DREW COUNTERS WITH A CLAYMORE! Drew catches Roman out of nowhereand makes the cover

Winner via pinfall and New WWE Champion: Drew McIntyre (17:40)
A massive pop from the live crowd as Drew McIntyre gets to his feet and is noticeably hugging his ribs having been through a war with Roman Reigns but he has finally defeated him clean in the middle of the ring. Roman meanwhile is out cold with one claymore being all it took to finish him off.
Byron Saxton: Drew McIntyre has done it!
Corey Graves: He had to fight and claw his way back to WWE, let alone tonight.
Byron Saxton: This is years of hard work for Drew McIntyre and tonight he stands atop the Smackdown Live roster as WWE Champion!
Corey Graves: But what next for Roman Reigns? A man who has defined himself as the tribal chief, the top champion in all of WWE?
Byron Saxton: We will have to see soon but tonight is about Drew McIntyre as he is now the WWE Champion!
We cut to Drew McIntyre once again celebrating in the middle of the ring as the pyro goes off. Roman can be seen glaring at him and rolling out of the ring pushing away the medical team in anger as Wrestlemania Night 2 comes to a close with Drew McIntyre the new WWE Champion!
