WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The second Kickoff Show match announced was a fatal four-way match. For the WWE Intercontinental Championship, which came about after the “Almighty” Bobby Lashley. Defeated then champion Dean Ambrose on the 14th of January 2019 episode of Monday Night RAW to become the new champion.

Two quarters of the four-way match would be Lashley© and Ambrose. While the matches two other participants, came in the form of Matt Hardy and Sami Zayn.

Both men wanted a shot to prove themselves, while the egotistical champion was more than happy to prove them all wrong.​

WWE RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The third and final match announced for the Kickoff Show concerned the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. A triple threat tag team match which came about after two singles matches happened.

As Fandango defeated Bobby Roode and Scott Dawson beat Chad Gable. As a result of their respective victories both Breezango and the Revival wanted a shot at the gold.

So MNR General Manager Kurt Angle proceeded to announce a three way title match.​

The first of three title matches scheduled for the Kickoff Show. Was a triple threat tag team match for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. As the reigning and defending champions aka Bobby Roode & Chad Gable©. Found themselves at a numbers disadvantage as they had to deal with not one set of challengers but two in the forms of Breezango and the Revival. It concluded with Roode and Gable isolating Fandango and hitting a Diving Moonsault + Neckbreaker combination with Gable getting the pin.

COMMENTARY TABLE
We cut to the commentary desk where the duo of English and Graves. Discussed the match and gave their thoughts on it. Graves was obviously in favour of the champions retaining. Whereas English said it would have been cool to see the gold change hands.

Next up the WWE United States Championship took centre stage. As Rusev© attempted to retain the gold against the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles. After a decent back and forth encounter between champion and contender. We saw the title change hands after Styles fought out of the Accolade by slamming both himself and his opponent into the mat. Then dragging Rusev up and hitting the Styles Clash for the win.

The Kickoff Show concluded with a fatal four-way match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. As Bobby Lashley©, Dean Ambrose, Matt Hardy and Sami Zayn waged war over the gold. As can be expected this was chaotic encounter with a series of multiple attempted pinfalls and submissions. In the closing moments Hardy hit a Twist of Fate on Zayn then Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds on him, Only to be destroyed with a Spear from Lashley for the win.

Next up Daniel Bryan© attempted to defend the WWE Championship. Against the man who won the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble match in Shinsuke Nakamura. As can be expected given the talents of both of these world travelled superstars.

This encounter was one hell of a contest which could’ve gone either way at several points. It concluded with Nakamura attempting the Kinshasa only to be met with a Busaiku Knee Strike which led to the pin.

Despite a good showing from the challenger aka Banks, she ended up failing in her attempt. To become the new WWE RAW Women’s Champion. After her opponent pinned her following Piper’s Pit.

After that it was time for the blue brand counterpart of the RAW Women’s Championship. The WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship in a WrestleMania 34 rematch. Only with the roles of defending champion and challenger being completely reversed.

As the “Empress” Asuka© rectified her loss at the Showcase of the Immortals. After she trapped Flair in the Empress Lock and this left her opponent with no other choice but to tap out.

On the post-Rumble episode of Friday Night Smackdown. The brand’s General Manager Paige took to the ring. To make a huge WWE Championship match official for the Elimination Chamber pay per view event.

A men’s variation of the titular match type which would feature Daniel Bryan©, Andrade, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe and Randy Orton.​

WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Coming out on top of the “Leader of the C-Nation” aka John Cena. At the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble ppv to retain the WWE Universal Championship. The current champion Roman Reigns© wouldn’t have much time to celebrate momentous victory.

Because on the following episode of Monday Night RAW he found himself the victim of an attack. At the hands of the “Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre, who was irritated about not winning the Rumble.

This attack was repeated several times over, which led to Reigns laying down a no dq match for Elimination Chamber.​

The current reigning and defending WWE RAW Women's Champion, the "Baddest Woman on the Planet" Ronda Rousey(c). Wasted little time in proclaiming her greatness having defeated two members of the so called "WWE Four Horsewomen" in the forms of Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks.

This brought out yet another member of the group in Bayley who challenged Rousey to put the title on the line against her at Elimination Chamber. Rousey laughed accepted the challenge and promised to break her arm at the ppv. ​

On the Kickoff Show of the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble ppv, the "Almighty" Bobby Lashley(c) successfully retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship. In a fatal four way match which consisted of himself, the former champion Dean Ambrose, Matt Hardy and Sami Zayn.

He won the match by getting the pin on Ambrose. In the weeks following the event both Hardy and Zayn challenged Lashley to a title match. He would state he looked forward to kicking their asses again in a triple threat match. ​

The feud surrounding the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship going into the Elimination Chamber ppv. Obviously the champions the Bar aka the duo of Cesaro and Sheamus(c) but who would be challenging them?

An upstart team on the blue brand in the form of KTTM or Kneel To The Mighty. The duo of aspiring Aussie's in Nick Miller and Shane Thorne who stated they were determined to become tag team champions in the land of entertainment.​

It was announced by co-chairman and co-chairwoman of the WWE aka the McMahon siblings on an episode of Monday Night RAW. That the Elimination Chamber ppv event would play host to the match to crown the first set of WWE Women's Tag Team Champions of the new era of the gold.

A six team women's division Elimination Chamber match which would feature two members of the Riot Squad. The Samoan Slaughterhouse, Fire & Desire, the Divas of Doom, the Iconics and the debuating Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. ​

The "Phenomenal" AJ Styles challenged for and captured the WWE United States Championship on the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show.

He defeated the then champion the "Bulgarian Brute" Rusev with the Styles Clash to do so. Rusev confronted him on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown to announce his rematch for Elimination Chamber. ​
