WWE.COM EXCLUSIVE
Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle made a shock return to the ring during the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble match. He later announced that this would be his final year as an active in ring competitor and will have his retirement match at WrestleMania 35. As such he doesn't feel right in being both a GM and an in ring superstar and will name his replacement for the role of MNR GM at the No Way Out ppv.

WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
ROMAN REIGNS© VS BOBBY LASHLEY WITH LIO RUSH VS DOLPH ZIGGLER
In the weeks following the 2019 edition of the WWE Royal Rumble ppv. The current reigning and defending WWE Universal Champion aka Roman Reigns©. Found himself the next challenger(s) to his reign as champion in the form of not one but two men.

The first being the “Almighty” Bobby Lashley and the second being “Perfection Personified” Dolph Ziggler. Both men took it in turns to confront Reigns on episodes of MNR, to put their names forward as his next opponent.

Reigns decided that instead of facing one on the other at the No Way Out. He would instead face both Lashley and Ziggler in a triple threat match.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
DANIEL BRYAN© VS SAMOA JOE
Fresh off defending the gold against the “King of Strong Style” aka Shinsuke Nakamura. The current WWE Champion found his way forward as WWE Champion blocked.

The blockage came in the form of the “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe. Who defeated Bryan in a non-title match on an episode of TNS, to earn the right at a title shot.

WRESTLEMANIA 35 CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY – (MEN’S)
FINN BALOR VS AJ STYLES
Finn Balor entered the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble match at the number 19 spot. He went onto eliminate the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles to win the match. In the weeks following the event the runner up aka Styles took issue with this.
As he told Balor that he had just eliminated the debuting Kenny Omega. Who in turn distracted Styles which inadvertently lead to Balor seizing the moment to eliminate Styles. Balor replied stating that if Styles wanted a shot at his spot at WrestleMania 35, then all he had to do was ask.

WRESTLEMANIA 35 CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY – (WOMEN’S)
BECKY LYNCH VS SASHA BANKS
Becky Lynch eliminated the “Legit Boss” Sasha Banks to win the second ever women’s Royal Rumble match. Like the Balor V Styles situation before it, it became clear that Banks wasn’t done.

She asked Lynch for a shot at the WrestleMania Opportunity to take place at No Way Out. Like Balor before her, Lynch didn’t have a problem with this and stated that she would see her at the PPV.
