I think Regal should have gone over and become the new champ. Why? Because its William F'N Regal, that's why!! Other than that, pretty good show here.

Great first show. Takes me right back to 2006. I hope you continue to book Helms, big fan of his. Nice main event to kick things off and good decision to put Orton over. Mysterio/Orton if booked right will be interesting program.

Smackdown Review

I'm glad Kurt Angle isn't going to be getting his rematch early or at all. I like Kurt vs. Rey matches, but something new will be exciting. Since you had Batista return, no doubt that Orton is going to win and Orton vs. Mysterio could be great for Backlash.

I loved the Pitbulls and I loved the match they had with Londrick at Great American Bash. I hope you do wonders for both of these teams in the Smackdown division.

Thinking about it, a Champion vs. Champion match between Mysterio and JBL could be cool, didn't that happen at Judgment Day in real life though?

I hope you have Gregory Helms booked greatly. Real fan of his, especially during his tenure as heel Cruiserweight champion.

I would have loved seeing Mysterio vs. Regal. Glad Regal is getting useful in ring air time. Good win for Mysterio, even though Regal isn't that high up the card, Mysterio can impress with a good match.

Randy Orton beats Batista and now it is Randy vs. Rey at Backlash. I love it, I'm thinking that Batista will feud with Orton after the feud with Rey, maybe Judgment Day if Orton doesn't get another title shot at Judgment Day.

Overall, it was a great first show. The detail was accepted.

Just a question, When did Kurt Angle leave to TNA? So I can stop using him.

He was in ECW for the beginning of the Summer then left.

But this is your BTB, you can change anything you want.

I'm going to have to decide later if I carry on using him or not.
