Watched all of one of the best UK classics from before in was born. Porridge starring Ronnie Barker and Richard Beckinsale ( He died way to early 31) in his sleep.

I shed a tear when I saw Ronnie collecting a BAFTA for best light entertainment for Open all Hours the sequel too Porridge but with Beckinsale dying. Barker refused too do another show out of respect for his family.

A little thing I noticed glanville played by David Jason in Porridge would lead to both men teaming up.gain to create Open all Hours to critical exclaim.

I'm watching some UK classics like Only Fools and Horses - My fav Is the y Boys Outing from 1989.

The Penguin has been the most watchable series TV Show. I've had the pleasure of watching in a long time. It's gritty and all the characters have great arcs it's well worth watching

We've been watching The Queens Gambit and Tulsa King king over the weekend. Both shows are very good and highly recommend them. Anya Taylor-Joy is one heck of an actor. She made the show very compelling and the writing was superb. I personally didn't think I'd enjoy the show but his wrong one was. Winner of 11 Emmys and now I know why.

Tulsa King Season One another great pick if you like shows with a gangster element in the writing . Superbly shot and directed from former Sopranos Director Allen Coulter and he got it spot on directing wise . Sly Stallone was very good playing Dwight Manfredi and it also has Max Cassella playing Armand and Anabella Scirorra who plays Dwight's sister too.

I highly recommend both shows if you like compelling and good storylines with a few twists and turns along the way.

Just read Sly is signing on for another two seasons and got a pay increase which is pretty cool considering how popular the show is. Each episode just gets better and better the script for season two is bang on point the first two episodes and I don't want to binge watch it all.

Also I just seen on Netflix there's a movie without Bryan Cranston called El Camino with Aaron Paul from breaking bad in from 2019 I'm gonna check out later on.

Holy Shit what an ending Season Two of Tulsa King. Dwight and his crew took out a problem They've took out ming and Bevilaqua took out the ex head of NYC . But then he's lying in bed and boom door goes in no warrant . Man what a cliffhanger just as I thought Margaret and Dwight were ok this happens. What a great show after The Penguin definitely my favourite show of the year .

Highly recommend to anyone with access to prime app as it's must see TV if you like gangster shows with good acting and hard-hitting storylines, with twists and turns along the way. I can't wait for season three sometime next year.

We've had Peaky Blinders on all weekend. Forgot some stuff as one does when memories is a hazy from being run down with a virus. Anyhow It's reminded me that the movie script was shown in June. Steven Knight has a Massive Budget for the movie with Netflix . He said now instead of having to get viewers thinking about certain things like how they blow stuff up . They can now do that sounds so fricking good.

Think by what I've read , the movie should be out late 2025, bet it grosses a helluva a lot of money worldwide. Cillian Murphy's one of the finest actors of any generation.

There are some shows I'll watch that aren't bad but I just can't really get into and then some time later I'll give them a rewatch to see. I did that recently with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was decent, but I just really wasn't that into it. The whole lovelorn teenager schtick was so annoyingly 90's teen drama. When it comes to vampires and demons and such, I much prefer Supernatural.

Classic show Buffy was back when I was young. Also did you ever watch charmed ? That's my favourite supernatural show from my teens. The new reboot was awful.

Just Found a new show Written By Chips Hardy, Tom Hardy's dad called Taboo ( 2017) on Netflix or BBC iPlayer. It's been out a while but I've just come across it after finishing Peaky Blinders. It's been a good show and if anyone likes shows about the past , it's well worth a look. The first episode is a bit slow but it picks up pace after ep two and is well worth a watch.

Steven Knight who wrote Peaky Blinders is Executive producer along with both Chips and Tom Hardy.

Toms character James Delaney dad has died and whilst he was away sailing around the world East India Company has become the most powerful company in the world and even tells the King what to do which is very rare. He comes back for his dad's funeral and learns of a mysterious inheritance. His dad supposedly lost his mind during his last few years and changed the will leaving his sister nothing, which her husband was very agrived by. That was just the first episode .

If you like period drams and great acting then give this one a look it's really good . Showing Toms wide range of method acting in this very compelling drama
