Yeah I think you both make good points but I'm more with EC here. Like I want those guys in too, but this is also the WrestlingSmarks HOF so I don't want to force people to only vote from guys they don't know to get them in. I think we should leave it more natural even with the clear bias it creates.

I think you just gotta shame people for not having wrestling knowledge and hope that gets them to see the impact older guys have and why they should be in the HOF so get to convincing Grim

Well like I said, Sputnik forced desegregation in the South and one time was arrested for eating at a Colored Only diner in Memphis at a time where that was incredibly taboo.

Christine Jarrett ran the Memphis territory, brought in guys like Lawler, Cornette, etc. into the business, and was instrumental for helping Jerry learn how to work as well. Also she should be the first Jarrett in over Jeff.

Whipper Billy Watson is the greatest Canadian wrestler who ever lived, yes, over Bret Hart. Stu Hart closely follows behind thanks to his work in Stampede Wrestling.

Verne Gagne is pretty fucking obvious why people should vote him when he trained guys and ran an immensely successful business for 30 years.

Jackie Fargo was the most popular wrestler of the Memphis territory before Jerry Lawler and made Lawler's career with his feud against him.

Thunderbolt Patterson was at the time the most influential African American wrestler alongside Ernie Ladd. Patterson's mannerisms were so iconic they were "borrowed" by a young son of a plumber named Dusty Rhodes.

I would vote in Christine over Jeff tbh and I don't even hate Jeff like some, she deserves a crazy amount of credit tho and I'm glad I've seen Jeff give it to her on multiple occasions

After Bruno, Harley and The Funks, I would probably start to consider voting for even older guys and more territory-specific stars. Lou Thesz, Frank Gotch, Pat O'Connor, Buddy Rogers and Verne Gagne would probably be the top contenders.

She was absolutely instrumental in the success of that territory before Jerry split it off from Nick Gulas in the 70's
