The way to dissuade a wagon has always been to actually contribute. I didn't like the refusal to claim, but given that my vote was on him for 12 hours and the wagon lost traction, there must be a play based reason to it.

The following is the post I meant from Jeff - much more input and sensible - I'm still not really sure on the Brutus wagon to be honest. Especially given that he's claimed, it feels lazy. It's also strange that in the reasons no one seems to have mentioned that Banez is a double voter - I know we shouldn't set up spec, but it seems like that should be more of a reason for the vote, if you were voting to lynch (which inevitably people are doing here).

Brutus read has been explained. Quite uneasy with CP as I think his reasoning to further push my wagon was fabricated, and his own play around Brutus has been weird. Don't feel great about Tweet either, as obviously his NOM push and read have fallen flat on their face, would not mind pressuring after Brutus.

Xenus town read I have also explained, his vote on me makes sense from his pov, so i am fine with it. Phenom is confirmed.
Big man slight town lean as his reply to me saying I would not claim means he was trying to get a read off others and I kind of fucked up his play. This kind of play looks like town big man.

Mitch - I'm going to say null as his reasoning for voting me could make sense from his pov, but it being the only thing he did and commented on as far as i remember bring him back to null.

why not wait for wait to see who follows and who doesn’t and try to get a read off them before saying this? refusing to claim before anyone said anything about a claim just gives people an easy excuse to get on.

I’m happy with the Brutus wagon, when he said his vote was a reaction test alarm bells were ringing and obviously the subsequent jumping off has been pointed out. at first I thought he was just trying too hard and fucked up because he said he’s going to try hard this game after he signed up, but he’s also moved his vote to lethal so

I didn’t like Jeff’s reaction to the wagon tbh but his readback posts were good. although in his last scum game his readback posts were also pretty good but it was too little too late that time. willing to see if he can keep it up and he’s locked himself into a certain claim now.

Again, this pretty much gives you the answer to why people dropped off the wagon. Jeff started doing stuff. Got to hold @Big Man to this promise of reads though.

Alright that is true, you did have your vote on me for a while, but why is the point where your suspicions of me should normally increase instead the point where you choose to take something that looks objectively bad for me as reason to say that I'm probably just wrong and vote someone else instead? Shouldn't you double down on your suspicions of me if you were serious about it?
