It was far from heartbreaking. It was pretty fucking awesome in fact. But thats coming from my eyes. Your eyes are likely different since you took the loss and everything.

I have like two players that I should be worried about when it comes to injuriess: Rudy Gay and Lin. Gay was fine all last season so that's hardly a concern and I'm sure Lin will be fine.

I keep durability in mind when drafting/trading for players. :Kobe:

my team is also not dependent on any one player. I have no superstar, just a bunch of STARS that will play at a high level. If I lose one guy it won't be a huge concern, no matter who it is.

I'm realizing that the Lakers are basically the Main Event Mafia.

Steve Nash is Sting. Nobody knows why he's there and he's going to spend all his time looking sheepish while everyone else is an asshole.
Artest is Scott Steiner. That's it.
Kobe is Kurt Angle. Calculating and convinced he's still the leader.
Dwight Howard is Kevin Nash. He's tall and he sucks.
Gasol is Booker T because I didn't think this through.

That Nash/Sting and Artest/Steiner comparisons are perfect. Kobe/Kurt is too but for a reason you didn't bring up both being stubborn about injuries.

Debating whether or not to drop Kaman. I've heard no word on when he may return from this injury but have heard that he may miss the first week and possibly into the second.

His injury isn't that serious to even think about dropping him considering the numbers he could put up if healthy.

Branduuuuuuuuuun: No.

GA: I'm not trading anything to you unless it involves LaMarcus Aldridge.

PHX: Have you heard of a return date for him? Because all I've heard is that he could be back by Friday or he may be out for 2-3 weeks depending on an X-Ray of some sort that will be performed soon. Plus I don't want a guy on my team if he's gonna be injured for months at a time.
