Barry scum is my current big read. Seems dumb to tie him to the Doc ultimately though, now that I look back at it

A Barry/Smark scum team doesn't seem unlikely at all - my thoughts on Smark are summed up in these posts from the last Day

Dislike Smark dangling info over our heads, especially when it's that. There's scum motive there too. The implication is that scum Smark would want us to think Ekko is scum who failed to make the kill, whilst the reasonable explanation is that Ekko was targeted. Building it up makes it feel more important too

But this is the direction today apparently

(this is re: Smark providing the info that he jailed Ekko when there was no kill. Smark did indeed mention both possibilities, but I don't see why he would entertain the "Ekko scum" option when Ekko's been a good townie thusfar)
