How come you're certain the lyncher role exists and Fourth isn't just lying?

I’m not certain it’s in the game, I’m certain I’ve seen the role before in games so it’s possible here. That said, when I was lyncher, I had one character to eliminate to win, not 3 like fourth is suggesting.

Fourth is too nice so I want to trust him. I really do.

Normally I’d go with what’s efficient, but if TFW is lying about stuff like leaving the game, it makes me paranoid that even if they’re an indie that there is something bad they are keeping away from town about their wincon.

I know a game ending indie seems unlikely, but if they still feel the need to lie to town then either A.) they’re scum. B.) there is something they don’t want town to know about bc they think it might spook us.

But like, if he’s an indie then we already know he’s an indie bc he confessed it. I get lying about being an indie, but not sure why the continued lying afterwards.

If you’re going to confess being an indie and are mostly neutral then there isn’t a reason to lie that I can see.

I mean I’m down to even work with a somewhat harmful indie if they and town can reasonably work together to achieve their wincons. But after a certain amount of continued lying, especially when they are seemingly so close to their finish line and should no longer need to lie.. I get worried that they might be serious bad news.

I kind of feel like they are mafia based on the total picture of things, but I can’t really reconcile that with them giving themselves a deadline to resolve by.

Based on what Smark said, basically. But Smark was a Wang pusher. So if Smark is bad, wanting to lynch Wang doesn’t add up to me bc Wang’s flip should automatically make Smark a serious POE candidate.

Seems like going after Wang would have gone against their interest if they’re scum.
