Thanks for the love, gang. I realized I was thinking less about the google name plates and more about the Yellow blinking text on the Minecraft home screen but whatevs lol

Keep the ideas rolling if ya got them. I like my idea, obviously, but ONE solid, catchy slogan could make it's mark.

You could just take the oldest forum's starting year and run with it. It'd look best anyway.

Or why not something more dynamic? You could have a random list of obscure wrestling references to complete the sentences, don't even need a real date. Example:

Smarking out since....

Hogan's War Bonnet
11/11/11
Bischoff was relevant
Dr. Isaac Yankem
Sheik was sane
Bash at the Beach '96
Sting had blonde hair
Wrestlerock '86


I think about that much like Google changes their logo all the time for holidays and such, it's just something different that keep people entertained and interested. Maybe even link the reference to a youtube clip or what have you for those that might not get the references.

I like Weez's idea, but just to twist it a little and sort of combine it with Franco's suggestion, how about doing something similar with altered wrestling quotes?

"One of our members won a gold medal with a broken freaking neck!"
"The best forum there is, the best forum there was..."
"We found the Nacho Man."
"Talk about your psalms, talk about John 3:16... preferably wrestling though."
"With a tear in my eye... this is the greatest wrestling forum out there."
"We lie, we cheat, we discuss wrestling"

I just woke up so these probably aren't that great, but you get the idea.

At the very least, change "smarking out" to something else, that just sounds really nerdy but I do like the idea of rotating slogans.

Slogans are awful things to come up with but those are the two I could think of; wait, just got another one "Come wrestling with the biggest smarks in town."

The Reason I went with "Smarking out" is obviously it's a play on "Marking Out" much like Smark plays off mark. Ideally, instead of obscure wrestling references (or in addition) you could go with poking fun at the IWC in general..like

Smarking out Until Christian Wins the WHC...again!
Smarking Out because it's STING! I KNOW It'S STING!.... oh wait.

etc
