Is she really widely considered popular compared to other women though? I personally always liked her. Has a unique look and can take moves better than most of the other women.

She's probably one of the more popular women in WWE, besides maybe Asuka.

I don't see anyone who comes close to Asuka and Becky's popularity actually.

I don't watch the weekly shows, just do recaps. Likely why I don't see it. Either way, I always liked her. Funny how they don't use her better if she is as over as you say. WWE logic strikes again!

I don't like Ruby Riott. I'm super bias because I dislike the punk crowd in general mainly because the "punks" in my area are just overall horrible people. That aspect has rubbed off on Ruby for more, so in connection I can't stand her

And Becky has managed too stay "popular" even
with terrible booking & hardly any real exposure.

She didn't even have a proper feud in 2017...which
is just criminal.

Just go back & listen to the crowds when she was
eliminated from the Royal Rumble & Wrestlemania
Battle Royal.

The fans like Becky...because she is actually likeable...
and she somehow actually has character even though
she's never really given a proper chance to show it.

Now just imagine if the WWE actually pushed her
as the top face of the division & actually gave her
a chance at performing in some of those big matches.

As much as I like Charlotte & Asuka...Becky deserves
so much more than just being Charlotte's "sidekick"

Well yeah, just look at Rusev.. They don't care how popular you are with the fans, just with Vince.

They still at least marketed off his popularity. Can't say the same for Becky. Still though, I get what you are saying. I would rather see Rusev be a top dog than Roman, at least right now. Rusev has the fans in the palm of his hand and it is being wasted.

That's a tough one, I pretty much understand the appeal of any wrestler that gets cheered, whether it's because someone's an indie darling and people eat that shit up or someone's Randy Orton and the RKO is just an exciting move you want to see when you're in a crowd. I even get a positive Nia Jax reaction given that she was just in a bullying angle where she got to play the victim.

One thing I will say is that people can sometimes overexaggerate a wrestler's potential with someone like Rusev for example. I've seen a ton of people say that he should be a main event player and have great matches with the biggest of dogs, when in reality he's on a really basic level of in-ring work. He's a great character and has a good awareness for gimmicks but I don't necessarily see him as a great pro wrestler as a whole

He is mainly popular because of his wrestling ability.

I know, his wrestling is boring as hell IMO...

Perfect example that having good wrestling ability doesn't make you entertaining.

Eh, different strokes for different folks, I guess. I find him entertaining, but I can understand how someone can find him boring.

Oh and I need to add Austin Aries to that list, I mean I know he's good but this new gimmick of conquering all the indies belts... I mean come on it's just ridiculous.

Yeah, his gimmick of "conquering all of the indies" is quite funny, and one reason I can't take him serious no more.
