Wrestler's popularity that you just don't get

Matt hardy. I heard all the hype about the broken gimmick and when I started watching impact again I just didn't think it was entertaining or good in any way. And then they brought him to wwe and made it even worse. It's annoying to me

Here's a name from the past: Alex Riley. I hear a lot of people describe him as someone who "Could've been huge if not for Cena politicing him." but I've never seen Riley as anything more than a generic midcarder at best

While not as popular as they once were but still popular enough, the New Day. I was thinking about it and I can see why people would find some of what they do funny and a lot of it is meant to be non-sense but 3 grown men in skin tight clothes thrusting about is just not appealing to me. The entrance at mania really did them in for me. I never understood what people seen in them. Maybe my sense of humor is different? I felt the same way about 3MB.

Honestly, Rusev. I'll always sort of liked him but I just don't get why "Rusev Day" is such a popular gimmick.

You know whats really interesting is how this thread
proves we all see the WWE product & its performers
differently.

It also may prove I might be completely out of my Gord
when it comes to some wrestlers.

I'm a big fan of Sasha Banks, Tye Dillinger, Finn Balor,
Broken/Woken Matt Hardy, Rusev & Becky Lynch...yet
clearly many others here are not.

Maybe I'm watching a different show?

Alexa Bliss:
Overrated & Over pushed, she can't work a decent match
to save herself with her selling being absolutely terrible.

I don't care if she has mic skills, facial expressions & a cute
butt. Learn how to work a decent match!

Nia Jax:
Boring, Awkward, Botchy, Awful music & ring attire. Its a
shame because she could have been something truly
special & different...but now...she's just like most girls.

Oh...and I don't care about her getting revenge on Alexa
for the fat shaming...because that never should have been
an issue in the first place.

There was a time when I actually really liked Bayley...but
now I realize Sasha & Asuka made her look half decent
in NXT & her entire main roster run is proof of how weak
she is as a performer.

She is the weakest of all the Horsewomen & her booking
has made her look like a complete & utter blueberry.

She COULD have been special (not "Short Bus" Special)...
but the WWE ruined her.

Also her finisher is fucking dumb & insulting to whoever is
pinned by it...unless its from the second or top rope...then
