Well, he went to a specialist today and it turns out the doctors at the hospital are absolute buffoons and it is just a cyst so he is having surgery in the next few weeks to remove it. Imagine being told you have a heart aneurysm and going 24 hours basically hoping you don't die and it turns out it's just a cyst. I would personally go back to the hospital and punch some doctors out. Escaped a crisis here....thanks for your support, guys. Always nice to know the forum family cares.
Alright, I will give a quick rundown of the matches:
Can-Am Connection vs Orton/Muraco
Fan of Rick Martel here, glad he came out on the winning side, though, I also like Orton, you can't help but laugh at him wearing that cast forever hahahaha, good tag team match.
Billy Jack Haynes vs Hercules
I was never a fan of Hercules in particular, but, this match was okay. You can actually see Haynes take out the razor to blade himself when he's going after Heenan, not sure if anyone ever noticed that.
Haiti Kid, Hillbilly Jim and Little Beaver vs King Kong Bundy, Little Tokyo and Lord Littlebrook
Meh, midget matches are usually stupid, this one was no different. This event could have gone without this shit tbh
Harley Race vs Junkyard Dog
Fan of both (moreso Junkyard Dog), I enjoyed this match. Harley was always a great heel.
Dream Team vs Rougeau Brothers
I absolutely hate the Rougeau Brothers, watching them lose is never disappointing. Plus, Brutus in his stripper barber outfit never upsets me in my pants
Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Adrian Adonis
Piper's goodbye match before he went to Hollywood, always brings a tear to my eye. I am biased and think everything he does is the greatest thing ever, so, I it's hard for me to say much negative about any of his matches hahaha
Danny Davis/ the Hart Foundation vs The British Bulldogs/Tito Santana
Would have liked this one to go to the Bulldogs, I liked them better than the Hart Foundation (possibly an unpopular opinion), great match, though.
Butch Reed vs Koko B Ware
I still fall asleep to this one.
Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage
Pretty sure it's common opinion that this is one of the greatest matches of all time. Exciting from start to finish with two great wrestlers. Steamboat was a favorite of mine growing up, and he can still wrestle with the best of them. He's probably the only WWE legend that 'still has it'.
Honky Tonk Man vs Jake the Snake Roberts
As mentioned in another thread, Honky is my second favorite wrestler of all time lol, I also like Roberts, but, I am probably one of like 3 people in the world who were pleased that Honky won this one. Roberts gets major points for Alice Cooper, though.
Iron Shiek/Nikolai Volkoff vs The Killer Bees
The Killer Bees were always meh to me, this match was okay, moreso because I think the Iron Shiek is a bit of a better wrestler than people tend to give him credit for (or maybe it's just me not seeing as much praise).
Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant
IMO, this match is more iconic than it is actually 'good'. The biggest star vs the biggest wrestler, it had exciting moments for sure, but, overall, there's only so much Andre could do, it was more a spectacle between a giant and a mega superstar. I still like the match, anyway, I just think the hype of these two guys and the scoopslam made this match bigger.
