Can you name every of the "COUNTLESS" wrestlers? I can't think of any...

Oh yeah, I know one...CM Punk himself told that he was responsible for Bryan winning the title at WM 30, right?
Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan...

It's arguable that, without CM Punk and Daniel Bryan's successful careers in WWE having paved the way for them, Sami, KO, Balor, AJ, Nakamura, the Club, and the entirety of 205 Live wouldn't have been given a second look by WWE's talent scouts. The shorter, less muscular, technical wrestler from outside of the company who rises to the top and still gets over with the crowd. Even looking back as early as six or seven years ago, you can see that WWE's archetypal mold of the successful top guy has changed remarkably since then. The Great Khalis and Mason Ryans of the world aren't getting lightning pushes.

Punk was one of first big indie guys

AJ has no chance at winning a world title in 2010

Oh I agree with all of that, except the "CM Punk did it all" part.

People like Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit or Chris Jericho did that before Punk.

I think we just had...

No we didn't...

You think Punk is the reason AJ Styles is the Champion right now and that he changed WWE's creative ways since he left.

I think there were others that did it before him, hence the reason he was even employed by the WWE in the first place.

Yh every generation have individual that change the direction of the company. Punk and Bryan were the previous generation pioneers. Obviously there have been influential figures throughout history and Punk is one of them. pre 2010 WWE is soooooo different to WWE now. Punk and Bryan has contributed to those changes.

AJ wasn't going to be champion in 2009.

It's not THAT much different IMO...

Well duh, he was in TNA...

Okay, now I'm really done.

I think it is. Very different. It's been eight years ffs

It was a hypothetical not suppose to be taken literally. Only people who use the word 'duh' don't understand what a hypothetical is

In 2010 WWE wouldn't even acknowledge TNA's existence. now they are promoting Kenny Omega. That's a huge difference.

Alright ladies, if this turns into personal jabbing the thread will be closed. Stay on topic.
Don't take disagreements over wrestlers as a personal attack either. Come on now.

CM Punk fans are all like that tho, I don't know why but it's like you are attacking their family member...
