Lawler, Tazz, any of the other examples by other people are great, but is there anyone in the WWE right now who is comparable to Heenan, Hart or any of the others? That's why I asked, if a return of 'good' managers' would be a wise thing to help some of the guys who can't seem to get a connection with the fans. I made some bad examples, but I thought it would go without having to be said that it wouldn't make sense to give someone a sucky manager to help them get over.
If they let Lawler be Jerry Lawler he would be as good as Heenan. From 94-97 Lalwer was the best heel mic man in the world, better than Heenan by a wide margin. Anyone remember Lawler in the ECW-WWF feud? Awesome shit. Matt Stryker would be awesome also. Abe Washington, Vickie Guerrerro, and if Larry Sweeney wasn't a fucking loon, he'd be an asset to the E, too. Give Piper some work, he can work the stick better than 95% of the E roster at his age and senility. There are plenty of people who can be put in the role, it's just a matter of the E booking method being given an overhaul and some diversity, not relying on the same formula for every cat on the roster.
