Unique idea to go forward and book WWE six years in the future. Interesting to read your rosters to see who you have on there, a few surprises (mainly Edge) and a few that I don't know.

How are you going to book towards WM35? Will you be posting a RAW and a Smackdown each week to build towards the PPV?

I'll be posting Raw/Smackdown results weekly--the red brand on Monday, blue brand on Friday. I'm thinking of keeping things simple in terms of match results, but getting real in-depth with the storytelling/promo aspect of things. This is actually an EWR savefile that I've been working with for quite some time...been wanting to start writing it down for a while.

WRESTLEMANIA 35 BACKSTORY: Friends, Foes, and Broken Bones.

AJ Styles defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Daniel Bryan.

Arriving on the scene three years prior, AJ Styles was an instant fan favorite with his high risk/high impact offense. It took the Phenomenal One six short months to capture the World Title from then-champion CM Punk...a landmark achievement is his brief tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment. Styles was at the top of the mountain...which made the fall all the more painful. One month into his reign, AJ dropped the title to his good friend at the time, Daniel Bryan. One loss was all it took to send him on a two-year downward spiral. Following the championship defeat, Styles failed at every endeavor--falling short at every opportunity. He had become an afterthought, tossed aside by the WWE Universe.

One month shy of No Way Out 2019, Styles shocked the fans by winning the #1 Contendership to the World Title. He was set to battle Antonio Cesaro, who had instuted his Swiss Dictatorship over the Universe for the past nine months. AJ saw the opportunity and took full advantage, ending not only Cesaro's reign of terror, but also his own string of bad luck. Following the long-faught war, Royal Rumble winner Daniel Bryan came out from the back to congratulate Styles on the victory...however, AJ ultimately ended up knocking Bryan out with the title.

Two years ago, Daniel Bryan crushed AJ Styles' vision of a perfect career. Will AJ allow the same to happen once again?

Alexander Wesson goes against his former best friend Chris Colt.

Both of these individuals have successfully "broken out", however a loose end or two still exists between the former tag team. Alex and Chris were brought into the company separately in 2015 as a part of the innovative "Zero G Division" (which has since become defunct)...the two never crossed paths, despite having such a storied history with one another in former companies. That is, until late 2016, when the once-friends were pitted against one another for the Intercontinental Championship. The match was highly anticipated, but it ended up being axed when Colt suffered a nasty ankle injury. Chris sees this as his chance to prove to not only the world, but also to himself, that he can beat his best friend. Will Colt prove to the WWE Universe that he has what it takes to perform at the level of a true superstar...or will Alex once again steal the spotlight?

Dean Ambrose defends the United States Championship against the nightmarish Mortifer.

Exactly one year ago, James Mitchell arrived on WWE soil. He promised to bring about a "New Age of Darkness" within the company...and Mitchell is a man of his word. The first acquisition was the terrifying Mortifer. Mitchell touted him simply as the "Nightmare Man"...and that is exactly what he elicited. *Wherever Mortifer goes, bloodshed and brutality can't be far behind...he functions solely to destroy. This is a philosophy Dean Ambrose knows very well. *At Wrestlemania 35, Ambrose may have finally met his match. A conduit of evil that cannot be manipulated nor persuaded. Mortifer has no mind to manipulate...only a body with which to inflict harm. The question is this: what will be left when these two twisted animals tear into one another and the dust settles?

Josh Leto is set to battle blood-brother Nick Leto.

The Leto Brothers dreamed a dream as children...one in which they stood atop the WWE Universe as the premier tag team. This is a dream they accomplished. However, Josh and Nick are no longer children, and hopes and desires have a nasty tendency to distort themselves when put to the test of time. While Josh was content living in the moment, Nick's mind was always racing ten steps ahead. Having realized that they'd reached the peak of their potential as a unit, Nick turned his back on his brother, effectively causing their year-long reign as tag champions to come crashing down. Greed has corrupted the mind of the younger brother, who now has blood on his hands. Will Josh be able to save his sibling before he spirals out of control?

Edge defends the WWE Championship against Xander Plague.

Xander Plague was never the nicest guy on the block. He was a lowlife cheater, content to feed upon the misfortune of others. That's why the feud that ensued between him and then-fan-favorite Edge was of no surprise. The two characters, while different in a bounty of ways, were also quite similar. Edge saw the young buck as a threat. Money in the Bank rolled around, and both gentlemen were set to compete. It came down to Xander/Edge atop a ladder...the Rated R Superstar saw it as his opportunity to rid himself of a possible threat. He tossed Plague off of the structure and claimed the briefcase. As a result of the fall, the rookie ended up breaking his ankle in three places.

It only took The Master Manipulator three months to cash in the contract. Much to the chagrin of the WWE Universe, he turned his back on them and ended the freshly-crowned Kassius Ohno's reign. Edge was riding high for months...that is, until Plague popped back up and turned his life into a nightmare. At Wrestlemania 35, Xander wants revenge. Edge came ever so short of ending the up-and-comers short career...a fact he has not yet forgotten.

Corey Graves takes on the self-professed sado-masochist Kevin Steen.

Growing up in Pittsburgh, Corey Graves was never the popular one. His eccentricities, while aiding him in breaking out in the wrestling business, marked him as a 'freak' to those around him in his early years. He had overcome those years of anxiety and stress. They were behind him...or so he thought. Kevin Steen, who coined the term 'Master of Misfortune' to describe himself, is nothing more than a bully. He sees the lanky, grimy individual known as Corey Graves as nothing more than a target. Will Corey overcome his personal demons at Wrestlemania 35, or will he let them eat him alive.

Malum defends the Women's Championship against Sara Del Rey.

Malum was James Mitchell's second harbinger of darkness. Standing at six foot three and weighing in at a whopping four hundred pounds, Malum promised to bring death upon the Women's division. AJ Lee, Trish Stratus, and Naomi Night each attempted to bring down the savage African warrior...and each ended up on the shelf. It didn't take long for Mitchell's client to capture the Women's Title, which she immediately destroyed. This, at least to Malum, was a sign that she had succeeded in her mission to bring the division to its knees. Little did she know that one challenger remained. Sara Del Rey is willing to risk life and limb in order to save the division she's competed in for three years...will she triumph, or will Malum make her final move?

APRIL 1st, 2019. One Week Until Wrestlemania 35.

Commentary Team: Matt Striker & Jim Ross.
General Manager: John Cena.
KICK-OFF: General Manager John Cena comes out from the back, hyping this Sunday's Wrestlemania. He is cut off by AJ Styles, who mocks the Cenation Leader before putting himself over. Styles notes that his primary focus has changed from catering to the fans' wishes...to crippling those that do. This prompts the General Manager to place AJ in a match right then and there...against Corey Graves.

MATCH UNO: AJ Styles versus Corey Graves. Nontitle.
RESULTS: Corey Graves defeats AJ Styles via disqualification when Styles refused to release his calf slicer submission hold.
AFTERMATH: Kevin Steen appears on the ramp with a microphone and unleashes a verbal barrage upon the downed Graves. He says that his Wrestlemania opponent is, and will forever be, a deadbeat and a complete failure.

MIDSHOW: A video package featuring James Mitchell is shown. He silently walks along a path in deserted graveyard for a bit before turning to face a grave-marker. Mitchell eyes the marker for several seconds before he shifts his focus to the camera. "Like your mother and father before you, Dean, this is where you will ultimately end up... and this is where you belong. This Sunday, Mortifer and I do God a favor and expedite the process." The camera shifts downward to highlight the gravestone. Engraved upon it is this message: Here lies the body of Dean Ambrose; April 7th, 2019. The video cuts to static.

MATCH DOS: Malum & Mortifer versus Sara Del Rey & Dean Ambrose.

PREMATCH: The music of Ambrose hits, but no one comes out. John Cena arrives on the scene and announces that Dean is nowhere to be found. Kaval takes his place.
RESULTS: Mortifer makes quick work of the "World Warrior", not allowing the women a chance to get involved.
AFTERMATH: Sara is in the middle of the ring with one of Mitchell's clients on either side. Mortifer takes a step towards her, which makes her flinch and turn in the opposite direction...where she is flatlined by Malum, who hits the Brainbuster on Del Rey.

MATCH TRES: Shiima Ion (w/ Summer Rae) versus Sammy Sane.
RESULTS: Sammy Sane defeats Shiima Ion via pinfall following the Orange Crush Bomb.
AFTERMATH: We go to commercial break. As the camera comes back to life, we are now in the backstage area, where Sammy Sane is standing beside interviewer Renee Young. She asks him where his goals lie, after failing to capture the World Title from Cesaro two months back. He says that it doesn't matter whether AJ or Bryan wins at 'Mania...because, in the end, the winner is only going to end up losing to him.

MATCH QUATRO: Antonio Cesaro versus Josh Leto (w/ Nick Leto on commentary).
RESULTS: Antonio Cesaro defeats Josh Leto via countout. The end came when Nick hit the LLKO (Running Shining Wizard) on a distracted Josh while the referee was preoccupied with Cesaro.
AFTERMATH: Nick grabbed a chair and acted as if he intended to continue the assault on his brother, however Josh rebounded and ended up kicking the chair back into his former tag partner's face.

MATCH CINCO: Rated XXX versus International Airstrike. Nontitle.
RESULTS: Fandango/Astounding Alec defeat Justin Gabriel/Adrian Neville via pinfall following their Last Dance tag finisher (backbreaker/leg drop combination).
AFTERMATH: The champions stand over their beaten challengers as the camera fades and we go to commercial.

MAIN EVENT: Daniel Bryan versus Kevin Steen.
RESULTS: Daniel Bryan defeats Kevin Steen via roll-up following the distraction by Corey Graves.
AFTERMATH: Following the matchup, Steen exits the ring and chases after his rival. Bryan celebrates in the ring until he's blindsided by Styles, who slams the World title into the back of his opponent's head. He then applies the Calf Crippler (calf slicer submission hold) to the prone Bryan, working over the previously-damaged leg for several minutes before releasing the hold. A smirk planted firmly upon his face, he places one foot over his injured foe's chest, raising the championship in the air as the show goes off the air.

That is such a good idea, I used to play EWR all the time but when I got a new computer I never installed it again.

Really cool backstories to the feuds, nice way to get us caught up on everything. The fact that you have James Mitchell managing in WWE gets you a huge tick of approval from me, no idea why WWE in real life haven't utilised his talents more.

Enjoyed the first show, like your style of setting out the show and it works just putting the result and then adding the pre and aftermatch info. The graveyard promo was short but sweet. Great finish to the show with Styles attacking Bryan and standing tall to end the show, the way you have booked him here is how I hope TNA end up using him. Full blown cocky heel that just doesn't care what the fans think. Show built the WM matches well, looking forward to seeing what happens on Smackdown.

In a move that has many backstage members shocked, WWE has released several workers from their contracts. Typically, firings are done following Wrestlemania, which is why the move has left the majority more than a little bit scatterbrained. Among those cut are Chimaera (formerly Ricardo Rodrigues), Matt Maverick, Zachary Dahmer, Primo Colon, and Mike Hennig. Word in the back is that these were necessity firings--meaning that they were done to make room for talent set to make their primary roster debut following 'Mania.
