Im not sure I agree with that tbh but i can see the debate. If you have to specify the player then its a target

no, you target one player and THEIR actions are redirected to another. you are never visiting player b. you're only visiting player a and changing their target.

This is my thoughts.

So a redirector could be tracked to player a, but not b.

But at least we know how Poyser would resolve it.

I’m fine with a different resolve if I know it upfront.

Depends on your interpretation of the role. Do you have to guide them to target b yourself? If so then you're visiting. Do you just tell them to go to player b and they listen? Do you mind control them?

I will say I was annoyed when I kept being asked about the Miller thing, but once I started getting sussed, I knew scum wouldn’t shoot me so I did my best to keep it up and also deflate it so I don’t get lynched over it.

I was a bit more frustrated with people defending Ekko so a good chunk of that was genuine frustration at first, but once I apologized to Poyser I leaned into it.

Being an Indy that can’t die is tough. I had a second win con that I had to sacrifice all the remaining players, but I was never gonna win that way before mafia did.

Depends on your interpretation of the role. Do you have to guide them to target b yourself? If so then you're visiting. Do you just tell them to go to player b and they listen? Do you mind control them?

I see at as your targetting player a and like whispering in their ear to change targets. bus drive in my opinion is two players, but in the is case your targeting a players specific action so it doesnt really make sense to me you would be seen at b unless your counting the action as a theoretical player that includes 2 players. that being said, i would also say if a host wants to resolve it differently, just make sure its clear in the role description and its kosher

This a good point. Yeah, I always saw it mafia terms as a good threatening player a to change their visit to b.

With bus driver I see it as you pick both up at a bus stop and they’re in your bus. So when they come to visit one of those players, they accidentally visit other.

I’d definitely have bus driver seen visiting both targets.

yeah thats kind of how i see it, bus drive swaps two houses basically, so he would be seen at both houses. a redirector changes someones target actions so they are seen at one house. i do get poysers interpretation as well though, just not how i personally see it.

Kind of like redirector shows up at player a’s house with a bat and threatens to break both of his legs if he doesn’t do the mafia a favor and visit player b tonight.
