Disappointing defeat? Of course, but England played ten times better than they have the past two tournaments so I feel a lot better following the loss. Welbeck looked great IMO, Sterling needs seasoning but has the potential to cause poorer teams a lot of problems. Thought Roy got it right picking both to play rather than one or the other. Baines was probably our weakest player on the pitch which is disappointing.

God knows how our group is gonna fall now. Between Costa Rica's win over Uruguay & us looking better than Italy in defeat, Group D has already shaped up to be the most unpredictable group so far.

Very dissapointing to lose considering how well we played.

It's still in our own hands though, we just need to win our remaining games.

Unlucky for Algeria, played very well against a talented Belgium side.

Yep. I'll be catching the Netherlands/Chile game at my office and then I'll be hitting the bar for both Brazil/Cameroon and Croatia/Mexico. Should be awesome.

England later, can't say I am hugely bothered with us being out.

I will still be cheering us on though.

Put a bet on Costa Rica to win, so either way whoever wins I'm happy
