It appears HHH is in charge of talent. Take a look at what and whom he seems to favor and you can get a glimpse of Sandow's future.
I believe he's in charge of NXT usually alongside Dusty. Vince and Dunn are still doing the main roster.

I heard the rumor that Kurt Angle contacted HHH and was turned away.
He then contacted Vince and was told HHH is in charge of talent period.
Jericho stated that he deals with HHH regarding his contract negotiations.
Bringing Flair into the fold is HHH's idea as well as all the call ups.

These could be all lies. I'm not in meetings and, quite frankly, I don't give a f*** who's really in charge.

If that was the case then Dunn would be fired at this rate and we'd see less burials of NXT talents.

No offense to Sharpy, but The Authority turning on Brock Lesnar would be a terrible idea imo. I get the rationale behind it, but it wouldn't make much sense to put heels like these up against one another in this way and it'd almost certainly cement Lesnar and Heyman as babyfaces, and I find the two of them as babyfaces to be just a bad idea all around. No matter who you put Lesnar up against at this point, it's gonna almost always feel like David vs Goliath, and Goliath as the babyface just doesn't work. Lesnar is just much better fitted in the role of The Beast that a fan favorite eventually conquers and triumphs over to get a huge rub and reaction from the audience. Just look at all the future programs that could rest in Lesnar's future - vs The Rock, vs Roman Reigns, vs Daniel Bryan, etc. None of these make sense as face/face rivalries, or with Lesnar as the babyface and his adversary as the heel.

On top of that, Lesnar would be guaranteed a title rematch after NOC and even if somehow he wasn't, he would still be coming after The Authority looking for revenge.

I'm not saying Lesnar laying down for Rollins is the greatest idea in the world either, but it's much better than the alternatives (SuperCena prevailing at Night Of Champions or The Authority betraying Lesnar) and makes complete sense.

Don't think he'll do anything. Maybe some random irrelevant filler match, but he really shouldn't do anything.

Rollins vs Reigns would be good, if not Reigns vs Orton or Reigns vs Triple H. If they want to do something completely else, I could see Rollins fighting a jobber (Ryder or Sandow would be fun, especially if they actually give them more RAW time with victories).

Also, I like the above idea of Kane helping Rollins to win the title to get back at Lesnar but if Lesnar is going to be champ until WM31 when he fights Reigns, Cesaro or Bryan, I could see this happening at HIAC. Kane helps Rollins but Ambrose interferes, meaning that we get Lesnar vs Kane (or a match with someone like Batista) and we get Team Rollins vs Team Ambrose at Survivor Series.

I had the most difficult time unraveling and figuring the whole scenario out.
Paul Heyman spent the briefest of moments as a babyface when Punk returned at Payback 2013.
Heyman can be babyface but its sort of counterproductive and beneath his potential.
If this were Ring of Honor or a company which valued competition above entertainment, I'd love to see Lesnar as more of a fan favorite.

Lesnar is too much of a beta male to leave his boyfriend's side.

To be fair I think people will be disappointed not to see Rollins in NOC so they may involve him some how. I see it being something to do with the Money In The Bank Briefcase but again it's probably going to be used to get the crowd going making it look like a possible cash in and then something happens to stop it. Will be good to see if they do anything with Rollins though.

Is it not pretty obvious now that he'll be facing Roman Reigns at the PPV?

Zack Ryder on a PPV for only $9.99!? Count me in.

Certainly seems to be now, will be a good match to see and it's another way to help hopefully, push Roman Reigns more as I feel we are still yet to see an even bigger push for Reigns heading into the end of this year and the beginning of the next year.
