Facts.

And I think he’s not the only one. I truly think if Hunter takes over 6 months earlier, Cole/Fish and KOR don’t leave.

Maybe they actually make an offer to keep Saraya, etc.
Saraya a tough one for sure.

Cole prob sticks around with a guarantee of a push so long as they let him stream, which im guessing HHH lets him. I think he likely sticks around in aew for a while and same with kyle, they treated very very well in AEW as well so they basically can do wtv the fuck they want in either company, nice place to be at next contract.

I think it will be the funnest in a few years because also WWE can't just sign superstars and send them to NXT anymore with it being real developmental now. So people are ac tually going to be fighting over contracts on both main rosters. Will be an interesting landscape then

Saraya is a tough one for sure because they seemed dead set on not clearing her. They really only cleared Bryan and Edge when they either threatened to leave(in Bryan’s case) or they told Vince they had an offer from a competitor(in Edge’s)

ah I didn't know about the latter. so you are saying, in a round about way, TK is the reason Edge came back and we should thank him? :moneymark

Yeah who knows, perhaps if Hunter was in charge sooner, he'd have given Saraya the chance to get cleared at least, its possible Vince or WWE didnt see the value in her or thought maybe as a talent she wasnt worth the investment.

Yeah in 2019, Edge made an appearance at Summerslam in Toronto. Speared Elias. Over the next few days, he realized he didn’t feel any pain. So he thought to himself, “Maybe I can still do this”

He was a free agent at the time I believe; he sent a feeler out to TK. If I remember correctly, TK offered him $3 million a year. He told Vince; Vince offered him more to stay. 6 months later, he’s in the Rumble.

Maybe he was pulling an Orton and using TK to get Vince to make a better offer but that’s the story he told on the E&C podcast years ago.

It’s been happening since the 90s. Can’t be mad at it honestly.
I'll never be mad at workers getting paid more from guys who have more money than they need. So long as they perform, more power to them

Facts.

People say Hall and Nash ruined things when they jumped ship in 96 but truth be told, they’re responsible for a lot of wrestlers getting paid from that point on

yeah imo hall and nash were good for workers and showed them what their worth was. Vince tried to whitewash that as much as possible because obviously thats not good for his business esp when he was the monopoly (so in his mind he wants everyone to think wwe is the only place, and u see that influence in young ppl everywhere online who hasnt lived through multiple major wrestling feds existing)

there's a reason why The Young Bucks idolize Nash, they know how to gets paid

I'll say this, Pillman has looked better as of late so whatever changes and advice he decided to take, great.

But yeah I mean it's just how the world has always been and some ppl who didnt listen will succeed regardless. some wont. and vice versa. there is never a one size fits all approach but I certainly understand why older guys just shake their heads.

This is a key thing. Some people learn via advice and some people learn via their own mistakes. People learn in different ways.

And Nash respects the Bucks because he knows they know how to make bank. Game recognizes game
