Matt is the king of the missed push.

1) V1 Mattitude... that shit was amazing and insanely entertaining. If he were ever ready for a major push, that would have been it.
2) Major face momentum against Edge. Both of these guys were really taking off at this point and this feud could have easily catapulted both of these guys into the main event with the momentum they had from it.
3) Heel turn against Jeff last year. Matt once again broke into his own with his own persona, new tights new attitude but we all know how that one turned out. A face turn which made no sense at all and two injuries in a row.

Matt has just been horrible as of late. He looks terrible and can barely bend his legs. He looks like a complete gimp in the ring. Where you see Matt right now is where he'll stay, jobbing in the mid-card with an occasional win, which is honestly where he belongs. Unless he jumps ship to TNA and joins up with Jeff, Matt has seen the best days of his career.

Fail to see how that would change in TNA. Hell, if he gets pushed any more than what he is in WWE, it would speak volumes about TNA's fetish with WWE guys.

Not saying it would change in TNA, but you know they would try and capitalize on him regardless. It would also give him the chance to feed of the Hardy tag team success if Jeff does indeed sign with TNA.

He just needs some time off to get back into shape. Sure he sucks now but six months ago he had huge momentum as a heel and the WWE killed all of his momentum. So he probably doesn't have any motivation left right now.

Your right, I actually think Jeff leaving was a bad thing for Matt coz he may have carried on the rivalry with him and then got the push that he truly need. Btw how does a profesional wrestler get fat?

In a word: No.

Matt Hardy is going to never even get the shot at the main event that he did in 2005-2009. Hate to say it because I was a huge Matt Hardy fan in those days but now he is just another victim of the crappy WWE booking.

Hardy was awesome in 2007. Now though he's not doing so well. His injury has limited his title worthy in ring work and he needs to heal. Then he can come back, start off with a mid card title and work on from there.

He is imo becoming the new Kane. Minus the monster push at the very beginning of his run.

^^^Except he's never main evented a PPV or had spots in main events or has never been over near as much as Kane without Jeff holding his hand or has never had so many storylines as Kane or can give a rub the way Kane can. But yeah, the next Kane minus any semblance of of singles success.

Champions need to draw, Matt Hardy couldn't draw a stick figure. It's as simple as that.

Matt Hardy is epic, he's just treading water in the mid-card after that pointless face turn and his abdominal injury. At this point, he's not going any higher in the WWE and his best bet would be to go to TNA and get treated like God; becoming most likely a multiple time World Champion.

Basically what Pat said. Hardy isn't a guy that could sell tickets. Guys like Cena are what franchises are built around, not Matt Hardy.

People are quick to assume that Matt Hardy is just some fatty lucky to still be employed, but in reality he is one of the most dependable workers the roster has..... the fans cheer him because they are appreciative of what he has done in the past, also because he isn't the massive muscle headed, slow motion moving guy that WWE is acumstomed to.
