LMFAO!!! Samoa Joe pwns Batista in so many ways, he knows how to wrestle, I am pretty sure he isn't on drugs and can cut a good promo. Batista has the same basic moves as any other big guy on steroids, just ask Bobby Lashley and his spear. Yeah Batista can sell out a show and hype better but that is only because he is in WWE, they chose to push him and make him M/E and pretty much eveyone WWE do that with selld out shows because WWE tends to sell out alot more. If Joe was doing what he does in WWE he would be WAY more liked because so much more people watch WWE then ROH and TNA. Joe is an alright choice since he is pretty much an ROH legend and can put on great matches but they could have had anyone, Low Ki would have been good or Christopher Daniels since he would actually be Daniels and not Curryboy...Anyways, Joe > Big Gay Dave!

The point went waaaaaay over your head Jerry Lennie

Like I said, Joe is a more entertaining in-ring performer than Batista, but that doesn't necessarily mean a lot. Seriously, Ring Of Honors entire roster including guys like Rhett Titus and Eddie Edwards (aka nobodies) are probably better in-ring performers than Batista, does they mean they're "> Batista"? When it comes to wrestling, drawing is honestly the only thing that matters. Look at Hulk Hogan....meh, I dont feel like getting into it, we could go all day and I dont have the time lol...smh, I have a kaedon'esque mind state these days...disgusting.

and ROH announced Joe vs.....wait for it....TYLER BLACK :eek:hmy:

cant say I saw that coming

With Aries, Danielson, and Nigel already in matches, we're probably gonna get something along the lines of Samoa Joe vs Tyler "I kick out of finishers, people go ape shit, I still lose xD" Black...

like everyone else said, Joe is probably the biggest draw that can be used on the indies as of right now. it makes sense that he's going to be at the Chicago show, because of BFG which was just in Chicago. Until ROH starts to draw better numbers, we could be seeing more veterans/former WWE guys.

as much as I'd like to see Ki back in ROH, I think it would be a good idea for a one show or weekend type of deal, but I don't think it would be worth it if he became a regular.

What would bring the lost fans back is a storyline, not a return.

I beg to differ...there is one man out there that is bigger than Joe....ROXXI will hate me but the man is

TBH, any WWE superstar would be a bigger draw than Joe. Thats how things are really. Being in WWE gives you a bigger reputation/name than anything else.

So WS, your trying to tell me that ANYONE in WWE would be better? Someone like Funaki or Chuck Palumpo would be a bigger draw then Samoa Joe who is an ROH legend? I would agree if you had said anyone in the main event area in WWE would be bigger but you didn't so

Wrestling Station is reaching now lol, I wouldn't say ANY and EVERY WWE superstar has more star power than Joe, but a lot of them do. TNA has a couple guys with legit starpower, Nash, Angle, Team 3D (as much as you guys hate em) Sting, etc. The thing is, guys like Shelley and Sabin have pretty much zero starpower, which is why I understand why they aren't pushed. There's a reason X-division matches have huge rating drop-offs. Its not because they're bad wrestlers, people simply don't know who they are. It sucks, but its reality

ROH cant even be judged on the same scale as WWE and TNA, because they're independent. lol

....yeah, this had nothing to do with the topic

I still think Joe can bring in some fans. There were a couple of JAPW shows where he was booked, and there were a couple of dozen more fans than usual, and most of them were TNA fanboys. You really can't compare Joe or any TNA/Indy guy with a WWE Main Eventer, because the indy guys don't really have the 5 hours of TV and exposure that someone like Batista has. But if Joe was in Batista's place, it could have the same affect.
