Why is CM Punk not drawing ratings?

I don't even consider him champion anymore. He's booked like a mid-carder, so we should consider him a mid-carder. Cena has the belt, Punk bought a $300 toy on WWE.com.

But apparently his segments have always lost ratings since he won the belt at TLC, unless he was in the ring with another draw (Miz, Jericho) Joe may have a point about how fans may have seen his shoot as a heel promo, and he never had an official face turn. Other than hearing the face pops from the crowd, what would casuals like about the guy?

Having your character be about shouting "BEST IN THE WORLD" instead of doing something interesting isn't helping.

What if they used him like Bobby Roode, where he has an opening segment, may has some kind of involvement in the ME, but is always given something interesting to say and only wrestles on occasion? (And obviously cut down on the "Always getting the upper hand whenever he gets attacked by the heel" crap that we're all sick of seeing from Cena.)

I sat here for a couple of minutes thinking about it and all I can come up with is he is fucking boring. He isn't cool anymore, nothing draws you in about him at this point, he looks like a waffle house fry cook, and he is just fucking boring.

If I remember he did draw during the epic story-line at MITB. That's what I blame it on. He won't have the drawing ability of Cena because he isn't as marketable and doesn't have that look. Punk makes up for it in other ways. Being one of the best mic workers in the WWE, [size=x-large]being a fantastic wrestler[/size]. He needs an exciting story-line around him so he can make the most of it. I'm not sure anyone would have took advantage of the MITB story-line better than Punk.

I'm on the "he's overrated" band-wagon but to say he's not a good wrestler is a Blue statement to make.
