Why is CM Punk not drawing ratings?

Simple question, why do you think it is? His title reign was pretty exciting going into Extreme Rules (save for a few filler feuds), he was getting great crowd reactions and was the talk of the wrestling world. So why haven't the fans taken to Punk like the IWC has?

Is it the fact that he doesn't "look like a champion", he isn't a Hogan or a Cena? Is it that he doesn't have "sex appeal"? Was it that ever since that epic feud with Jeff Hardy in 2010, he was buried non-stop until the shoot vaulted him to the top, and that he was never established as a credible champion? Was it Triple H ruining his momentum, or that casuals didn't respond to the shoot as much as the IWC did?

His whole reign's just boring, he's turning into an exact version of Cena. He made a shoot promo about Cena however he's turned exactly like him, for example, his corny jokes.

Week in, week out it's the same old story.
It's boring, his reign is too long, and he isn't a right champion imo.
Title change is needed, and it's needed soon.

Cutting off his balls and not giving him good enough material until the Jericho feud kicked off. After that it's just the positioning of his segments and the beforementioned ballcutting.

If I remember he did draw during the epic story-line at MITB. That's what I blame it on. He won't have the drawing ability of Cena because he isn't as marketable and doesn't have that look. Punk makes up for it in other ways. Being one of the best mic workers in the WWE, being a fantastic wrestler. He needs an exciting story-line around him so he can make the most of it. I'm not sure anyone would have took advantage of the MITB story-line better than Punk.

It's just waiting and waiting now. No one knows what he'll do. It's so annoying to have the same old shit over and over again. Better booking = better CM Punk.
