I never mentioned Buyrates, that doesn't factor into the issue of match quality of the weeklies or the timing of it.

The Pay-Per-View is the main show, and that's why matches are bigger, because you don't give away your best on the side show, sure you might do it once in a while to market the bigger show, but you're way to dumb to understand the comprehension that match lengths are pretty irrelevant to the quality of the actual contest.

I've seen a ten minute match than some thirty minute matches, but never the less... You have time restraints for your weeklies which requires build towards the pay-per-view, where as a pay-per-view has roughly 90% action, 10% entrances, promos, etc. So yeah, don't be silly.

If you don't like watching WWE, don't... But learn to put a discussion across.

I love UFC, especially TUF. But its like saying Family Guy ha gotten shit, go watch Criminal Minds instead; the 2 are connected only by the fact they are tv shows and offer very different entertainment values.

I disagree.

The only thing different is UFC is legit.

Also MMA has better storylines.

WWE do a terrible job of building towards PPVs. Aside from WM I cant remember a PPV I was really looking forward to. WWE have more weekly hours of tv than any other show I can think of, that's hardly time restraint? Every PPV has been shit sine Mania, with the exception of the Lesnar/Cena thing and every PPV before Mania was shit as well. Why? Because WWE don't put enough time and effort into building solid mid card feuds. I'm enjoying the WWE title scene at the moment and I'm glad to see Dolph in the WHC picture (they handled the Y2J, RKO, ADR situation very well) but that's it. I could care less about CenaNuff and big slow but at least they're trying to build it up. After that they just don't seem to bother.

I understand there is much more to WWE than wrestling but I hate watching guys with potential either gt squashed or not be featured. I also don't see the point of having a PPV every 3 weeks as well as a Raw supershow every week. WWE do not utilise their tv time or their incredible roster to their maximum potential. If they did, all these forums would just be saying how wonderful everything is.

There is no logic in anything WWE does outside of the top tier matches anymore. They have a team of writers who struggle to write decent stories for 5 or 6 guys when in the 90's they had maybe 3 guys and Vince writing good and often great stories for 20 to 30 guys.

I would hate to be a WWE writer right now they work constantly trying to please the people above to put on a good show and get shit on by everyone. Seriously, even most of us here have wrote BTBs or been involved in E-feds but we don't get told to rewrite an entire Raw 5 times just so the higher ups like it. This is just too much complaining about stuff like that. It's been so long since WWE started and they have expanded so much that certain things are going to be overlooked. Maybe, they are trying to do much but I enjoy wrestling. Hell, if a segment is just awful I just laugh at how bad it is and at least get that some sort of enjoyment out of it. Too many perfectionists in the IWC that it drives me crazy.

I wonder what a company like WWE would be like like after 10 years of any of you running it and trying to cooperate with advertisements and wrestlers contracts just so you break even. WWE does more than enough to do that. It's not even in real turmoil. This is just ridiculous.

I don't even care if they build a Bryan/Punk match perfectly on TV as long as those two superb athletes can show what they are made of on PPV. It makes up for it if you are a true wrestling fan.

you can't write a coherent sentence, let alone write or book a show?

Do you know how tough it is to juggle MULTIPLE storylines, keep everything in check, make sure the show isn't one giant clusterfuck like TNA used to be? Ever since WWE writers have been involved with TNA, it's slowly becoming more akind to WWE but noone really bitches about that, they bitch about the wrestlers... WWE has the wrestlers, but they can't make everything relevant anymore, it's an impossible task.

There's so much they can't do due to sponsorship, political correctness etc, but then there is also the risk of rehashing storylines.

You go headwrite a show yourself before judging the difficulty of it, lulz..

Excuse me, what example do u have of my inability to write a coherent sentence? Seriously, I'm interested. And what makes u uch an expert on writing shows, books or juggling multiple storylines?? Ur on an internet forum talking to other members of the IWC. Not exactly ground breaking stuff.

EOR is one of the best E-fed writers I've ever seen and I've been in and out of that shit for over a decade. So if anything I'd considered him better for wrestling than a Hollywood writer would be.

So after ignoring most of my thoughts for the last couple pages you pick at that? Man, discussing shit with you is useless.

Saying fedders don't have a life is laughable, presuming most of us keep down a job, college, etc. We do this in our spare time, we have late shows, no shows, shitty shows because we do have a life, however that isn't why we're here.

I was making an example of how hard it is to be a booker because I've been doing it on a small scale for about three years; I got an idea of how hard it is to book, but image doing on a scale that WWE does, and it's near impossible with the limitation. So you're being incredibly ignorant believing it's as easy as writing out a match to make a company brilliant.

Sure, sometimes I think "I CAN BOOK BETTER THAN THIS" but that isn't the point, hell, now I'm not going of course any longer. Learn about moar about wrestling before being critical about it.

I didn't ignore them, I agreed with a lot of them, I think even liked one r two. But it seems pointless to just agree with somethin n congratuale each other for having good or similar opinions. I'm focusing on the other Raven loving tool because from his first reply he began insulting me. I'm all for healthy debate but there's no need to insult each other just for the sake of it. I read on my Owen Hart thread something about ur views on the afterlife; that's a topic I'd be happy to discuss.

i like most of what i watch, if i get to the point where i do not like it then i don't watch it. i've always tried to be about the "if you don't like it, don't watch" it rule, but everyone is different.
