With the thread title and your responses in this thread seems like you're trying to make it seem like your opinion on how WWE is right now is how everybody should feel despite people in this thread are answering the question of why they bother. WWE is never gonna be and never will be perfect and will always have something it needs to improve on but as long as people feel like it has something around to entertain them enough they will keep watching. Right now for me personally WWE has had really good PPV's, the current WWE title feud has went above and beyond my expectations and Punk is having imo a really under appreciated title run that I've really enjoyed.

Ur way off dude, I welcome all opinions. I disagree with a lot of them because I really cant believe any wrestling fans could be satisfied with the current state of WWE. WWE will certainly never be perfect but it could easily be improved.

WWE is far from perfect but its still got some great quality matches both on Raw and on Smackdown look at the WWE title picture right now for me that is the best part of the show right now that and Ryback who is starting to grow on me.

I find the quality of wrestling to be better today than that of the Attitude Era, honestly. To me, that was a time where ratings took priority over match quality (they had to, WWE almost went bloody bankrupt after all) and backstage politics swallowed deserving talent.

In some ways, I imagine I'd rather be a wrestler today. Things of course aren't perfect, but in this age where the working conditions and physical conditions of wrestlers are more closely monitored, a wider variety of superstars can break through the ceiling, and the fans actually have a bit of sway over who gets pushed... There are plenty of things to enjoy about WWE nowadays.

The loss of blood, swearing and bra 'n panties matches seem like such a small price to pay (with no guarantee they won't return some day).

For me even if WWE is bad I stick around for those good moments and for what it could be. I can always find at least one or two things to be positive about and that keeps my going in the bad times. The fun thing about forums is you can talk about the bad things with others and talk about ways to improve the show. Lately WWE hasn't been too bad, yes it is missing a midcard but the main title feuds and matches have been good. They have all the ingredients in place they just haven't found the right recipe yet.

I don't have unreachable expectations when it comes to watching wrestling, there have been stuff that has made me roll my eyes, but I generally have been satisfied with the product I watch on TV.

Take the smark hat off, and you enjoy it more than you would picking apart every little aspect of what you see.

Or don't bother, like the thread title says.

I agree. I've known wrestling is fake for years, I still enjoy watching it.
