WWE is so bad these days. I mean really terrible. And yet we all invest so much time and effort in bitching about it. Would any of us keep watch any other tv shows if they got this bad? No one goes on internet forums and recommends how "they" can improve CSI or Law & Order. I mean does anyone really enjoy pro wrestling anymore??? I dont. I watch WWE on youtube so I can skip through segments. NXT is the only thing I actually watch these days. So why do we bother..........???

Didn't Punk/Bryan just put on a ****1/2 match a few weeks? How is it completely terrible if we can still end up with matches like that? Oh wait, this is probably about booking and crappy ratings so I'll keep my wrestling hybrid theory away from this logic.

One decent match a week is terrible, regardless of whatever self righteous spin u put on it.

Wrestling-wise, we have multiple great matches each week. WWE is better now than it was a few years ago.

the majority of WWE matches are incredibly well worked, so how can you say WWE is terrible? They are usually great match bookers in term of how well organised their matches are, they aren't sloppy with the in match storyline.

As for the actual booking, it's good for what it's worth, sure sometimes the booking is shocking but at the same time, there are so really compelling storylines if you watch it as a fan, instead of trying to be a smark or a member of the IWC and look to pick everything apart.

Pathetic :/.

I disagree that we have multiple good matches each week. There is the potential definitely, but it so rarely gets the opportunity. I'm sick of squash matches and 20 minute promos, although i did enjoy AJ and Dolph's banter on the opening segment of SD. And I'm really liking the Punk/Bryan/AJ/Kane angel. There just isn't enough thought put into the mid card

Decent? That was a classic. If you are expecting a classic every week you should just watch AMC for classy movies.

Jesus, matches like that should be rare and now we have Bryan and Punk in the main event full-time for the time being. So we will continue to get better matches than WWE normally books. So as an actual wrestling fan and not someone who harps on over the top storylines all the time, I gotta say WWE is doing fairly well right now. Maybe, it's like the early 90s when Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart emerged but what happened with that emergence a few years later? We got something called the Attitude Era. Right now, if WWE plays their cards right they could bring in a few people in the next few years that could garner the buzz of an Austin off these two guys. I swear if WWE brought in someone like Kevin Steen in a year or two and had him run around like Austin with Bryan and Punk even more popular than they are now we can go through this entire cycle again. I'm not even mentioning half the roster of guys that are on the verge of jumping to the main event when all the older guys finally retire.

2 minutes makes a match bad? You then are really REALLY dumb, oh wait you are really dumb.

The average, match is possibly closer to five minutes which is more than enough time to tell a story in a match. Presuming every match was 15 minutes + then there be nothing good about them, the storylining would wear thin, the presumption that long is better is a joke, testiment to this is how sucky Iron Matches are; there's nothing solid about them, people gas out way too quickly for it to be successful.

The average good Pay-Per-View match is about ten minutes long, with the main event being between 15 to 30 minutes, if shows started doing that, then it would defeat the object of PPV matches being the big encounter, the rubber match.

You need to think this shit through, if you have long matches on the weeklies, then noone will care about PPVs because there would be little difference in quality.

N, its not. Aside from the WWE and World title related matches, the majority of what we get are 2 minute squashes; Sandow, Ryback, Brodus, Tensai, Cesaro etc etc

You do realize this is the aftermath of Wrestlemania where they bring in new talent? They just just brought in more than usual. Everything will calm down and at least some of these guys will get legit feuds. The others will drift away to obscurity.

PPV buyrates are nose diving my man, so ur theory is mute.

do you even count how long the matches go?

Not rigorously or with a stop watch or anything. Why do u?
