You asked what was the point. I gave you the answer. I was to make Team Flair look stronger going into the ppv.

Well, we might have thought that, if it wasnt for the fact that on the same fucking night at the same fucking show, they announce that Abyss is fine and will make it to Lockdown.

They actually didn't say that. Hemme said Abyss was ok. As in he wasn't dead. Didn't break anything. All his body parts are still intact.

Since when does "Abyss is okay" mean "Abyss isn't missing an arm"?

Ok, I think we are talking past eachother here. Team Flair already looked amazingly strong after they literally destroyed entire Team Hogan. Running over Abyss was the final big impact, as they wanted us to think Abyss was the most important member on the team. Now, if they were smart, they wouldn't have told us anything about Abyss' condition, just "Abyss is taken to a hospital, we have no idea what is state is at this point", and left it with that. That would've created suspense. Instead, we are told 5 minutes from when it happened, that Abyss is ok. So, what the fuck? If we are told he is ok, we wont worry anymore. We dont sit around and think "God I hope nothing happens with Abyss before this sunday" on a wednesday night. They shouldn't have told us anything, and had Abyss come out last in the Lethal lockdown match, suprising us all, tearing down the house for a few minutes. Instead, he comes out first and is compeltely fine, like nothing ever happened. Thats why I think nothing was achieved from that incident.

I get what your saying. I didn't watch the ppv. I figured he would have sold the hit and run or something. lol @ him being the 1st person out. But on the flip side, them saying he's ok wasn't a great idea, but it still worked in two ways (to an extent). They said he was ok, That doesn't mean he's in tip top shape to go at the ppv. That just means he's fine. Not severely hurt. If someone slips and falls, someone who see's ask if the person is ok. They say yeah. They not severely hurt but them limping away indicates that they are still hurt. Abyss was still hurt. Another way that it worked was that (in theory) it got Abyss over as being a bigger monster. The guy got hit by a car and still came out fighting.

Yeah, if he was limping, or even looked remotely hurt, it would've looked better. Coming out first, pretending the car hitting him never happened, did not look good.
