My choice is John Cena. What is it about John Cena that makes him "the face of WWE"? You could say he's popular, but that only begs the question. In 5 years he's held the WWE title 9 times and more gifted wrestlers who are infinitely better on the mic take a second seat. His ring skills are severely limited and he is a pain to listen to on the mic. And yet he is pushed beyond anyone on the roster. I find him one of the most boring workers in the entire fed.

There are a number of workers more talented and charismatic than Cena to build around. Cena is favored because he appeals to little kids who get their parents to take them to matches and buy them merchanise.

Seems like a weakly disguised attempt to bag John Cena. Luckily, much like the way in which you've disguised your thread, your arguments are also weak.

Of course they push the guy who sells. Last time I checked, Vince McMahon is running a business. Would you not want to make money? Or are you going to go "Hey, this guy makes money, so how about we DON'T feature him? I'm a freakin' genius." No. No no no no no. No. Ridiculous, Blue, completely idiotic, all of the aforementioned. Just no. The face of a comany is someone who gains sales, who makes you want to buy what they are selling, and evidently that person is John Cena.

You seem to use the argument that he's held the titles nine times in five years against him, yet that is more indicative of the way in which the titles is traded around by the bookers than anything to do with Cena. Edge has held the title a multitude of times over the past few years, yet does that make him overrated?

His ring skills are limited how? Because he doesn't do 1000 moves? Cena has had great matches with guys ranging from Shawn Michaels to Triple H to Bobby Lashley to The Great Khali. Now, maybe it's just me, but I can't help but feel that those guys are all different types of workers, and yet here Cena is pulling some of the best matches they've ever had (or in Khali/Lashley's case, by far the best match they've ever had). Does that tell you someone is limited? Or does that tell you that the guy is talented, because for me, it's the latter. In fact, Cena is so good that there is only one person in the current WWE who I would say is better in the ring.

Who is 'infinitely' better than Cena on the mic? Chris Jericho? CM Punk? No. John Cena is great on the mic, especially when you consider the material he HAS to use, and you compare it to the material Jericho and Punk GET to use, and you see how good of a job Cena does. His delivery, his tone, his expressions and his intensity are all top notch.

As far as charisma goes, I don't even think I need to say any more than see how much of a reaction he draws. Guy is charismatic as all hell.

Now, onto the supposed topic of this thread. I'll go with Kurt Angle. The guy actually has a lack of versatility, as shown by the fact that he wrestles the same type of match against every single guy he faces, whether it be Abyss or AJ Styles. Not even the best wrestler in TNA, let alone the best in the world.

lol, gay.

Your sig quote sucks.

I hate John Cena but you can't deny the guy has charisma, WAY more than most other wrestlers. He's great on the mic. I don't like his in-ring work but he can sometimes put on an exciting match.

I made the point that Cena sells, you repeat it and then call my argument weak. And Cena is terrible on the mic. He pretty much repeats the same thing every time. The guy is a bore and appeals to little kids like you.

Cena is great. Incredible athlete with great mic skills. He can really work the crowd but I don't care for him. I'll give him all kinds of credit for his success but IMO, WWE has overdone it with Cena.

Then again it depends on how you look at it. Cena has made more money for WWE than you can imagine, so for that sake... why should they not take it the distance?
BUT they lost A LOT of adult fans because of this. That's another reason I don't watch WWE. Got sick of seeing Cena with the belt. I don't think Cena is overrated but I just don't like him.

You used it in negative connotations, which I said was incorrect, which it is. Your argument is weak. How can you justify someone incorrectly being branded the face of a company by saying it's only because they sell?

Punk must be terrible on the mic too. And Jericho.

Yeah he appeals to me, but that's because he's talented. Keep trying to bait me tho, son.

Care to refute any of my other points, or are we done at this with the failtrolling?

I'd say Triple H. He isn't a bad wrestler at all but he can't have great matches with everyone. He struggled mightily to get a great match from Batista at WM 21 and failed. He has sporadic matches that might rate above average-great. I think Triple H really lacks an all out classic match.
