My choice is John Cena. What is it about John Cena that makes him "the face of WWE"? You could say he's popular, but that only begs the question. In 5 years he's held the WWE title 9 times and more gifted wrestlers who are infinitely better on the mic take a second seat. His ring skills are severely limited and he is a pain to listen to on the mic. And yet he is pushed beyond anyone on the roster. I find him one of the most boring workers in the entire fed.

There are a number of workers more talented and charismatic than Cena to build around. Cena is favored because he appeals to little kids who get their parents to take them to matches and buy them merchanise.

2006 called, its wants it's thread back.

In terms of WWE it's pretty obvious that it's The Undertaker. A worker who yes, was great in his day. But his day has came and gone. He has a good (or in the Mania matches case great) match but overall he is overrated at this point and time. He can barely keep up with the guys he is in the ring with and overall is just plain and simple boring in my opinion. He takes a few months off every year after WM, which is the sole reason he has stayed in the limelight so long.

The Undertaker honestly hasn't interested me since 2004. Even though he was able to transform his character from a early 90's cartoon character to what could be considered the greatest character in WWE history in terms of longevity he is still a bore fest. Aside from HBK and Punk what was the last good match that The Undertaker had? Which honestly saddens me, I remember as a kid every match that he had was good to great. He was one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid, but now I can't stand the dude.

Dude he's old as fuck. The fact that he is still over and good enough to produce one good match a year is golden.

Drew "Crowd Killer" McIntyre.

The guy is more boring than paint drying. He's a cure for Insomnia. Think about it.

Most over rated would have to be Edge IMO. I'll admit I eat up Edge's heel CHARACTER, though that's honestly his only redeeming quality for me. I really don't see anything too special about his in ring skills, in fact I find him to be quite sloppy and boring. Sure it works alright for him as a heel, but it's just not happening for him as a face. Sure he gets the job done, he's always been over with the crowd no matter what he's doing... he just leaves a lot to be desired as far as his in ring work goes. Way too many people put this guy on a pedestal.

And since it's pretty safe to say that he is and will be a part of the company, Daniel Bryan is also vastly over rated.

I wasn't going to bring up Daniel Bryan mainly because he isn't officially in the WWE. But I have already aired my opinions on Bryan.

Edge is also somebody that is pretty overrated. For the reasons that noumenon mentioned.I think that he is a case where his character overshadows his in ring ability, which has never been that good imo.

I'm going with Bryan Daniel. I dont really know all that much about him TBH. But bits Ive seen youtube and what Ive seen from him on NXT. Then yeah i dont think he is all that and IMO is over rated.

So until he does anything to change the opinion i have of him. To me he is over rated

WWE most over rated depends where you go, but as far as over rated on IWF:

John Morrison
Ziggler
Christian

Under rated:
Miz
Sheamus
Rey

Ziggler overrated? By who? Miz and Rey underrated? Are we talking about the same IWF? I'm not trying to dispute you, just wondering how you come to that conclusion, considering Miz is almost universally praised. (He's actually on my overrated list.) Rey has his detractors, but he also gets love. All just based on what i've seen.

Top 5:

Overrated here: Morrison, Miz, Christian, Orton, Edge.

Over-pushed by WWE: Trips, Edge, Orton, Undertaker (at times), R-Truth.
