Who can defeat Brock Lesnar?

I realize this topic has been talked about to death, but I would like to hear some different perspectives. We all know that WWE wants to put Roman Reigns into the main event picture, and Im sure that is a promising Idea. I cant help but think about what happened with Ryback when he quickly rose to the top.

What I would like to happen:

Honestly I feel like Daniel Bryan's run was no where near what it could have been. Everyone knew that he was going to win at Wrestlemania, which is fine. I have an issue with how it all went down. Everything seemed slopped together and WWE was trying to make good on a bunch of promises they may have already made. If DB were to come back and challenge Lesnar to a match it would phenomenal. DB's in ring skill may not be enough to beat Bork, but I would love to see it regardless. While I realize this is a longshot, I would like to see DB vs Brock for the belt at some point.

So the question is...who can beat Lesnar?

I actually thought about Bryan as well just because if you throw the physical attributes out the window, the booking is there with the injured star that's over as fuck coming back from injury to get a belt that he never actually lost. Oh and it'd be absolutely hilarious to see how some people would react to it :TI:

That being said, I don't think I really care for that option.

The two options that I see viable and that I should enjoy would be a) Reigns keeps getting pushed like he is and wins the belt at 'Mania after winning the Rumble. It's pretty basic booking, but Reigns is so over that it could work easily as long as he keeps progressing.

b) This may be unpopular, but the only other person I can really see beating Brock that I would like is Cena. The angle is there...just have Brock beat him again at NOC and Cena take some other losses so that he has to refocus or even take time off. Cena then returns at or around the Rumble and has a changed attitude and then he gets his retribution.

There's other options that I could see them going with like Rock/Brock II, and I understand that business-wise that would be huge, I don't know how much I'd enjoy it. Watching Brock german the shit out of Rock would be fun though.

Strong feeling that when Brock loses the belt, its a multiman match. This allows the guy who beat him to use some underhanded tactic(like a Heyman switch) in the rematch to solidify his run, and eliminate Brock as a contender again quickly.

I feel like that just negates them a big opportunity to make a guy seem unstoppable by beating Brock though. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what happened though, I just wouldn't enjoy it as much.

It protects Brock in case of an incident. If say Reigns pulls a Ryback and flops then Brock is still a monster that had to be cheated out of his title. It seems the most logical move to make, you are not going to out fight Brock, but if you can get Heyman to second guess, you can out think him.

To me it has to be Reigns if you want to make a star from this situation of having a legit monster heel. The person who beats him imo has to be someone who benefits from this since Brock's insane credibility right now is based on beating big names. No one is more fitting to be that guy than Reigns right now. You could say Bryan when he comes back as it would be a great triump comeback story but I think the chance to make someone who hasn't had that big mania moment yet is something more valuable.

Should be Reigns, but I wouldn't be surprised WWE wouldn't do it because of the old "it's too predictable".

Neckbeards better not cry about that and talk about it should be Bryan or Ambrose.

Sometimes being predictable is perfectly fine as long as it is necessary and this is one of those cases for sure. Bryan had to be the guy to win the title at this past mania and this coming mania to me it has to be Reigns.

Predictable is fine as long as the feud is built up good. Sure there's some fun in not knowing who's going to win, but if they tried to swerve us and have Reigns lose or something, that would be terrible.

Although just imagine if they built up Reigns so much and had BORK destroy him worse than Cena :lmao

In the future I don't have a issue with Reign getting the title, but I still think he is a long way off being ready. Thing is Bryan just had bad luck, he was on a roll before the injury and deserves a proper chance to succeed on top, whether that be by defeating Brock, or the champion after him is a different matter.

Maybe Rollins via MITB after the chamber.

Just put Batista/Orton/Cena/Bryan and some fall guy like Jericho in there, call it 'the most star studded chamber ever', and make sure Lesnar beats everyone in a gruelling match.

Come on Cork I said I didn't even care for the Bryan option and you still disliked my post :lesnar2:

I could see Brock defeating anyone for the belt, but for him dropping it....mabye it would happen with a Rollins briefcase. Maybe Brock goes through Cena, and then the authority send the lockeroom out to attack Brock and show him who's boss and then Rollins strolls out to cash in.

It depends on how long Bork's willing to go. If he plans on putting in about a 6 more months to a year, they can have him hold onto it long enough to build Reigns. If he plans on another 2 month stint, it'll have to be Rollins via briefcase.
