CM punk has had the title quite some time. Do you think he should drop it soon? Who would you have him drop it too?



If that is indeed your question I could see him losing it to Jericho for a month or two before winning it back and then preferably moving on to christian.

It's something I made reference to not do long ago. Even though he regained towards the end of the year it still feels like he's had hold of it since MITB. Given the personal route that his feud has taken on with Jericho, I'd honestly have him drop it to Henry plus I'm kinda a little bored of him with the belt.

This is why I said since July because technically CM Punk never actually dropped the belt. So it's been literally what we call two reigns since July and that is almost a year. Yet I remember when Cena was champion for that long, I prefer 3-4 month reigns.

technically, when he drops the belt, the title reign is over.

He did "technically" drop the belt. When he beat Cena at SummerSlam, he was beaten as fair (well as fair as a MITB cash-in can be) and square by Del Rio.

It doesn't seem to me that he's been champ since July, because he hardly appeared as the WWE Champ during that month long reign because of the storyline. I like his reign, not bored with it yet because I don't think there's anyone he should drop it to at the moment except for Jericho but if he were to keep it throughout the Jericho feud, I wouldn't mind. I like long title reigns, makes it more special when the guy finally does drop the belt.

I had to sit through WWE not taking Del Rio seriously as champion(twice mind you) so it doesn't feel to me as if Punk has had the championship since last July. His reign is going fairly well. I think it may add something to his feud with Jericho if dropped the belt to him at Extreme Rules. I just think Punk should end up winning this thing and still be champion since he's been THE MAN since well that promo from last year. He's like their best option with Cena distracted with outsiders.

i like long title reigns as long as a worker has the belt.could you imaging if great khali held the belt for 3 years? right now theres nobody who deserves it more than punk.to me jericho dosent deserve it because hes only been back a few months and if rumors are true wont be sticking around permanently.and lord knows they havnt elevated any young superstars on raw to the point where they would even be considered.
