The truth is, I see Ryback returning and squashing some more jobbers because I highly doubt that creative will have anything for him. What most people don't seem to understand is that Ryback is still a good talent, he has a menacing look and isn't that bad in the ring. He is believable to the mainstream audience and although he has lost, he has lost in a way each time which will not directly effect his momentum.

The best feud in my opinion but would to have him return and feud with a veteran such as Kane, to continue to build upon his skills and allow him to pick up a victory, without consequences.

I wouldn't be surprised if he returned as a baby face. There was a report even during the beginning stages of the Cena/Ryback feud (before ER) that he might revert back to being a face after the feud was over. Spend a month or so away and come back without mentioning anything of Cena and maybe fans will cheer him again if he stands up against a heel. Expect the Goldberg chants to remain, of course.

He wasn't exactly the most over face of the company (he was getting strong reactions when he was announced as being booked against Punk in the cell, but that faded quickly afterwards when he lost) but being a heel didn't help him any either. Much like Del Rio for 99.9% of his WWE career, he's just as over (i.e not much) as a heel as he was as a baby face.

In my opinion, some time off is good because they really need to start over again with Ryback. I don't know what needs to be done but something should.

He could fued with Ziggler, which would help solidify Zigs as a face, and ryback as a heel, but I have no idea what they are going to do.

I don't know where to put him honestly. Maybe he can be the guy that can take the WWE championship off of Daniel Bryan in the later future, but to do so he would have to be booked as a heel, and win matches against big names. I don't think he got buried, but I don't really know where else to put him. Maybe he can also challenge the World Heavyweight champion after squashing a couple of superstars, but again, I don't really want to see him anymore, but knowing WWE, they'll push him to the sky once more a bit after he returns.

Ryback has been buried. Fuck the two queers making excuses for all of his losses, fact is he loses all of his important matches. He has zero momentum. Meaning, if he ever had any momentum, it has since been buried.

Anyway, he deserves to be buried. He sucks dick. I say send him to NXT to job to Bo dallas.

I don't believe the philosophy that wins and losses NEVER matter (otherwise the saying "you have to strike while the iron is hot" becomes useless) but I think in most cases, they don't. Guys who have talent or hope of becoming stars can come back from almost anything. Ziggler is recovering from his long string of losses (which spans across several months) just fine. They turned him baby face to a huge reaction. Maybe the fans just plain out don't care about Ryback, or it could be the case that they never really gave Ryback a shining moment as a baby face to give the fans some reason to cheer him.

-He didn't defeat CM Punk for the WWE Title. Punk gave him his first defeat and slipped away with the belt in the end.

-He didn't get any comeuppance on The Shield. They fucked him out of the WWE Title three times and then went on to defeat him 3-4 times when Ryback had two partners backing him as well. Just fighting them off and putting all three through tables would have felt like something. But it never happened.

-He couldn't even defeat Mark Henry at Wrestlemania. Ryback is supposed to be this being of superhuman strength (he once lifted like three jobbers on his shoulders at once) and you'd think lifting a heavy and powerful man like Henry would display his extreme strength and presence but instead, they waited till after the match when he'd already lost before letting him hit the Shell Shock.

-He turns heel and we all know how that's gone. Another opponent, another loss.

Well, let's see if they'll make a smart booking decision for once with the guy. He's been booked horribly for months, I like the guy, hopefully they'll make something interesting and entertaining with him once he comes back.

I don't think there is anyway for them to book him strongly anymore, whatever they do, his character is fu*ked up to the point of no return.

I was wondering this earlier. The guy bores the heck out of me so I'm not in too much of a hurry to see him back but I can see why others like him!

I literally can't think of anybody he'd make an interesting feud with, WWE may still prove me wrong though!
